Connecticut high school football Week 3 roundup: East Catholic improves to 3-0

Jared Macaluso rushed for 175 yards on 17 carries and caught a 4-yard touchdown pass from Owen Curran in the first quarter to lead the East Catholic high school football team to its 8-6 win over Bristol Eastern. Macaluso’s two-point conversion run proved to be the difference.

Defensively, East Catholic (3-0) was led by Parker Barnes’ 15 tackles and Nick Galatie’s 13 tackles and one sack.

Jacob Kingsley scored on a 6-yard run in the fourth quarter. for Bristol Eastern (0-3).
