Derrick White has been named the 2025–26 NBA Sportsmanship Award winner.
The Boston Celtics guard receives the Joe Dumars Trophy, given annually to the player who best represents sportsmanship on the court.
White finished top of the voting with 2,026 points, ahead of T.J. McConnell and Harrison Barnes.
The selection process begins with each of the 30 teams nominating one player. From those nominees, league executives select six finalists, one from each division. Current NBA players then vote to decide the winner.
White’s recognition reflects his conduct and professionalism throughout the season, earning respect across the league.
