Controversial internet personality Herschel “Guy,” better known as “Dr DisRespect,” has seemingly threatened to assault Twitch streamer Nicholas “Nickmercs.” On August 24, 2026, X user @veizau posted a 42-second video from Dr DisRespect’s Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 Beta livestream that same day.
In it, the “Two-Time Champ” responded to a live viewer’s question about whether he noticed popular streamers’ in-game appearances. While claiming to have spotted TimTheTatman’s skin, the 44-year-old wondered if Nickmercs was also present in the multiplayer game.
Dr DisRespect then voiced his discontent with Nickmercs, labeling him a “phony” and a “wannabe tough guy.” He also seemed to suggest that he would elbow the content creator in the face if they ever met.
The Doc remarked:
“…Twist on your donation and message, but do you really think that makes me feel good? Huh?! I’ve got feelings. I do! ‘Did you see the camos, Doc?’ I saw Tim. Was that Nickmercs in there, too? Huh?! The wannabe tough guy. God! I’d ******* go like that (The streamer appears to swing his right arm) right to him, right to his face. Boom! Boom! Just real quick. Easy! He’s such a phony! I’ll still call him out. I’m going to call him out all the time. As long as we are here inside this arena, we’re always going to call that ******* phony out! He’s the biggest hashtag…”
Dr DisRespect says he publicly confronted Nickmercs, claims the latter “looked down and walked away”
Another video from Dr DisRespect’s recent livestream was posted on the Elon Musk-owned social media platform, in which he claimed to have publicly confronted Nickmercs.
The permanently banned Twitch streamer elaborated:
“I feel like I’m all alone over here, man. TimTheTatman, I said, ‘Hi,’ and he went like this… he’s like, ‘Ugh!’ And I said, ‘Hey, Nick! You ******* *****! What are you going to do?!’ And, of course, he looked down, and he walked away, decided to go buy his buddies so that they can keep him relevant. I mean, it’s just a lot going on at CoD Next, champs. A lot!”
The Doc made headlines on August 17, 2026, when he commented on Timothy “TimTheTatman” seemingly removing him as a friend in Escape From Tarkov by saying that “work friends are not real friends.”
