D’Tigers edge Tunisia to keep World Cup Hopes Alive

Nigeria’s D’Tigers bounced back in style on Tuesday to defeat Tunisia 84-81 in the FIBA Basketball World Cup African Qualifier.

After suffering defeat to Tunisia earlier in the qualifiers, D’Tigers got the response they wanted, holding off the North Africans to secure the victory.

Nigeria Basketball celebrated the victory on social media, writing:

“NIGERIA WINS!! D’Tigers avenge their loss to Tunisia to pick up their second win of the World Cup Qualifiers! BIG WIN!! “

The victory gives D’Tigers their second win of the qualifying campaign as they continue their bid to reach the FIBA Basketball World Cup.
