Ecuador’s Richard Carapaz scored a decisive win of the Tour de France at stage 18 on Thursday, securing victory in the final climb to Orcieres-Merlette. While Tadej Pogacar had previously maintained his overall lead, the Slovenian suffered a blow as key teammate Brandon McNulty abandoned the race.
