Nigeria Women’s Football League (NWFL) champions Edo Queens have reached the final of the WAFU-B CAF Women’s Champions League qualifying tournament in impressive fashion.
Edo Queens secured their place in the final after recording a convincing 5-1 victory over Burkina Faso’s USFA FC in Ouagadougou on Wednesday.
The Nigerian champions controlled the game and produced a strong attacking display to comfortably defeat their Burkinabè opponents.
The big win keeps Edo Queens’ hopes of reaching the CAF Women’s Champions League alive and further shows their strength as the reigning NWFL champions.
Edo Queens have continued to prove themselves as one of the leading women’s clubs in the WAFU-B region.
They will now turn their attention to the qualifying final, where they will fight for the regional ticket to the CAF Women’s Champions League.
