Floyd Mayweather has continued to lay out his plans inside the boxing ring for the next 12 months.

It was announced last week that Mayweather is set to return to professional boxing later this year when he takes on former rival Manny Pacquiao at the Sphere in Las Vegas on September 19.

The pair originally met in May 2015, with Mayweather claiming a unanimous decision victory, before the American retired in 2017 with a perfect 50-0 record.

He has taken part in a number of exhibition bouts since then, and is slated to have another in April, with a bout against fellow boxing legend Mike Tyson reportedly set to take place in the Congo.

In between the fights between Tyson and Pacquiao, Mayweather has now revealed his third scheduled opponent for the year, after posting on social media to announce an exhibition bout with kickboxing star Mike Zambidis in June.

“2026 is already shaping up to be an exciting year for me… (((Europe)))… I’m on the way to entertain!!

“Athens, Greece… Get Ready For An All Out Exhibition. This summer will be a legendary battle. June is the month where history will be made at the Telekom Center. Different energy. Different level.”

Zambidis has a kickboxing record of 157 wins from 181 fights, but is now 45-years-old and hasn’t competed in the sport since 2015.

He did have a professional boxing bout in March 2019, claiming a victory over Antonio Gomez, but it appears it should be a relatively straightforward runout for Mayweather before turning his attention to the professional bout with Pacquiao in September.
