Harry Kane’s wife, Kate, showed her tribute to England’s captain as the team scored a thrilling victory over Norway.

The eagerly awaited World Cup quarter-final between England and Norway ended in a 2-1 victory for the Three Lions after Jude Bellingham led England to the semi-final.

It aired at a more sociable time for UK viewers, after their match with Mexico didn’t air until 2am. The victory over Mexico in the early hours of Monday recorded a peak of 9.1 million on the BBC. Despite the time, it attracted an average audience of 7.8m across BBC One and iPlayer.

With the whole country keeping their fingers crossed as England faced up to Manchester City favourite Erling Haaland, an estimated 13k fans crammed into the Depot Mayfield and Freight Island to cheer on the boys.

Now, England will take on current World Champions Argentina in the semi-final on Wednesday (July 15) as they battle it out for a place in the World Cup final.

After their win, England’s captain Harry Kane was supported by his wife, Kate. Taking to her Instagram she issued a simple message of: “Miami, let’s gooooo England” before sharing pictures of her tribute to her husband.

As with the Mexico game, Kate donned a custom top with Harry’s signature number nine and his last name. While for Mexico Kate opted for a white top, she was dressed in red for Norway’s match.

Kate posed in a humid Miami, wearing matching red flip flops and her hair tied back in a sleek ponytail, before showing off her glitzy engagement ring and wedding band in a close-up of her personalised top.

Harry Kane and Katie Goodland began dating during their teenage years. After several years together, Harry proposed to Katie on a beach during a holiday in July 2017. They officially tied the knot on June 19, 2019, in an intimate ceremony, and they have now been married for 7 years.

Over the course of their relationship, the couple has expanded their family to include four children. Their first daughter, Ivy, was born in January 2017, followed by their second daughter, Vivienne, in August 2018.

They welcomed their first son, Louis, in December 2020, and their fourth child, a son named Henry, was born in August 2023. Following Harry’s high-profile transfer from Tottenham Hotspur to Bayern Munich, Katie and the children relocated to Germany to support his career abroad.
