Knicks regular season schedule. Games for NBA opening night, Christmas

The reigning NBA Champion New York Knicks will be on the main stage this upcoming 2026-27 season after the league released the schedule for Opening Week and Christmas Day on Tuesday.

The NBA released its schedule Tuesday morning on Good Morning America with ESPN’s Malika Andrews. Insider Shams Charania also was tweeting out the games as it was happening. The entire schedule will be released on Thursday at 3 p.m.

NBA Finals rematch on Christmas Day and Ring Night annnounced

Reigning Finals MVP Jalen Brunson and the Knickerbockers will raise their championship banner when they face LeBron James and the Philadelphia 76ers on Oct. 20, tip-off is at 7:30 p.m. That Tuesday night will also be the ring ceremony.

There will also be a rematch of the Finals on Christmas Day when the Knicks play Defensive Player of the Year Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs.

Last season, the Knicks won their first championship in 53 years. In Game 4 of the Finals, the Knicks completed the greatest comeback in finals history after an OG Anunoby tip-in with 1.2 seconds left that completed a 29-point comeback.
