Danny Welbeck is not the only former Manchester United striker who is on the move this summer.
Javier Hernandez is a) still playing after turning 38 earlier this summer, and b) has signed for Atletico Dallas, who are due to start playing in the USL Championship, a level below Major League Soccer, next year. The move follows his departure from his boyhood club, Guadalajara, at the end of last year after two seasons back playing in Mexico.
Chicharito becomes the first player in Dallas history, some 20 months on from their founding. He has signed a two-year contract, with an option for a third.
