Man United have submitted their squad list to the Premier League after the transfer window closed on Tuesday

Manchester United have submitted their squad list to the Premier League for the 2026/27 season.

A total of 23 players have been named in the squad list, though there are a number of big names missing from the list. The reason for that is that players born on or after 1 January 2005 do not need to be included in the squad, therefore the likes of Kobbie Mainoo and Leny Yoro have not been included but are still eligible to play in the Premier League.

Premier League rules state that no more than 17 players who do not fulfil the homegrown player criteria are allowed to be named on the list. A homegrown player is someone who has been registered with any club affiliated to the FA or the FAW for a period of three entire seasons, or 36 months, before his 21st birthday, or the end of the season during which he turns 21.

Eight players in the 23-man squad list United submitted to the Premier League classify as homegrown players, including Marcus Rashford, Mason Mount and Amad.

Goalkeepers: Karl Darlow, Tom Heaton, Senne Lammens, Dermot Mee

Defenders: Patrick Dorgu, Diogo Dalot, Matthijs de Ligt, Harry Maguire, Lisandro Martinez, Noussair Mazraoui, Luke Shaw

Midfielders: Carlos Baleba, Bruno Fernandes, Mason Mount, Andrey Santos, Youri Tielemans, Manuel Ugarte

Forwards: Amad, Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo, Marcus Rashford, Benjamin Sesko, Joshua Zirkzee
