McLaughlin: Bob Chesney’s Impact and Potential at UCLA

Published

SEC logoFifteen SEC schools have reportedly met to discuss how to handle LSU bringing back players from NFL training camps, including a potential boycott.

Would that really happen?

On today’s episode of Locked On College Football, I’m joined by ‘Locked On UCLA’ host Zach Anderson-Yoxsimer to discuss this week’s in-state matchup against Cal.

Bob Chesney could make a huge statement this week, even against another first-year HC in Tosh Lupoi.

Texas Tech logoThe Big 12 had Texas Tech run through the league last season, with the #2 team (BYU) not on the same level.

Will that repeat itself in 2026? Spencer previews the Big 12.

Canucks sign defenceman Zeev Buium to eight-year contract extension

Published

on

The Canucks and defenceman Zeev Buium agreed to an eight-year, $75.04-million contract extension on Friday, the team announced.

“Zeev has settled in nicely with our organization since his trade to Vancouver last season, and we are extremely happy to see him make this long-term commitment to the Canucks,” Canucks GM Ryan Johnson said in a statement. “He is a key member of our young core and a player we will build around moving forward. Zeev has a lot of upside, and we feel with his abilities he will flourish in the system and environment we are creating inside our locker room. We look forward to working together and creating a strong partnership and foundation for our future.”

Buium, 20, was acquired by the Canucks last season in the blockbuster trade that sent Quinn Hughes to the Minnesota Wild.

He recorded three goals and nine assists over 45 games with Vancouver.
