Nigeria Super Falcons defender Michelle Alozie was among the notable faces at the 2026 FIFA World Cup final in the United States.
Alozie attended the final between Spain and Argentina on Sunday, just days before Nigeria begin their campaign at the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco.
The Houston Dash defender has been named in coach Justine Madugu’s squad for the tournament.
While many of her Super Falcons teammates have already arrived at the team’s training camp in Casablanca to prepare for the competition, Alozie took time to witness football’s biggest match before linking up with the squad.
She is expected to join the rest of the team ahead of Nigeria’s opening match at the tournament.
Alozie is one of the key players in the Super Falcons squad as Nigeria target another WAFCON title and hope to maintain their dominance in African women’s football.
