Guido Vianello and Moses Jolly fight to draw (76-76)

The referee is scoring this bout, and she calls it a draw! No problem with that, personally, but there are some boos around the O2.

A ringside doctor, at the request of the ref, is checking Vianello’s eyes. His left looks somewhat closed, but Jolly’s own left eye looks swollen, to be fair.

The seventh round resumes.

Six rounds in, and the pace is barely slowing. There’s a great example late in this frame, as both men land time and again in a busy exchange. Neither has looked like going over, mind.

“I’m hoping Hrgovic gives Itauma some questions to answer and gives him some kind of crisis situation,” Price told BetSelect.co.uk, “so we can see how he reacts and recovers in that situation. I think he needs that.

“Realistically, I think in rounds eight or nine Itauma will either stop Hrgovic on his feet, or his corner will pull him out of the fight.”

Jolly starts by apologising to the referee for his holding in the previous round.

He gets right after Vianello in this round, though. With a step-in jab kickstarting a positive spell.

Vianello hits the canvas, but it’s ruled a slip.

The ref pauses the action again to tell the heavyweights not to lead with their heads.

Vianello is a little bruised under the eyes. Jolly swarms him in the corner, pouring on shots but also eating a counter.

Jolly gets a warning for not stepping back when the ref says “break”.

When the action resumes, he’s tagged with a hard left hook. His right eye is a bit swollen, possibly from that very shot.

He comes back with a spearing cross but is met with an uppercut.

In the clinch, Vianello seems to land an elbow to the back of the head!

“Missed, missed, missed all of them!” shouts Jolly’s coach, as Vianello tries to end the round with a combination.

Jolly is bloodied up around his nose and mouth. He’s very much in these exchanges, but Vianello seems to carry the greater power – and is also the more accurate, as messy as the boxing is.

Jolly and Vianello are trading heavy leather from the first bell, with both landing clean and regularly.

There’s a warning from the referee for the pair to not lead with their heads.

Both men land clean crosses. Jolly is walking onto a fair few of them, and he’s carrying his hands low, but he’s landing his own shots as well.

Now there’s a warning for the pair not to hold.
