National Bank Open matches in Montreal cancelled due to rain
The opening night of the National Bank Open presented by Rogers in Montreal has been washed out.
Tournament organizers announced that day session matches that had been paused due to rain would be cancelled for the day, while all night session matches had also been cancelled.
Only two matches were completed before play was halted.
While rain briefly disrupted play in Toronto on Sunday, the night session is still set to go ahead as planned. Fans can watch the night session, which is headlined by Canada’s Bianca Andreescu taking on No. 41 Nikola Bartunkova of Czechia, on Sportsnet and Sportsnet+.
