Oba Femi is undeniably the future of WWE and is one of the most protected stars in the company right now. He’s featured on all the major shows that the company hosts but now he’s set to make his debut for Lucha Libre AAA. Rey Mysterio announced that the Ruler will make a special appearance at the upcoming Worlds Collide event in Chicago.
WWE acquired Lucha Libre AAA last year and the announcement was made during the WrestleMania 41 pre-show. Since then, both promotions have collaborated to host the Worlds Collide event. The next edition of the event will take place on September 26th in Chicago at the Allstate Arena. It will feature talent from the main roster, NXT and Lucha Libre AAA.
The AAA General Manager Rey Mysterio recently announced the full card for the upcoming event in a video posted on the promotion’s official X account. In the video, he also stated that Oba Femi will also make a special appearance at the show. No details regarding what Oba will do at the event were provided but it could involve a run-in or confrontation with the Vision.
Fans are excited to see Oba Femi in a Lucha Libre AAA ring for the first time.

Worlds Collide 2026 in Chicago will mark Oba Femi’s debut in Lucha Libre AAA. However, the General Manager Rey Mysterio has announced several big matches for the show featuring him and other top stars like CM Punk and El Grande Americano.
