Oilers’ Ekholm a game-time decision vs. Golden Knights
Sportsnet’s Gene Principe reported that the defenceman was listed as a game-time decision.
Spencer Stastney was seen skating in Ekholm’s place alongside Evan Bouchard on Edmonton’s top defence pairing.
Ekholm ranks sixth on the Oilers with 33 points (six goals, 27 assists). He’s suited up for all 63 Oilers games so far this season.
The 36-year-old has tallied two goals and 10 points on the season.
Joshua Samanski has been recalled from AHL Bakersfield and is available Sunday.
Edmonton sits third in the Pacific Division with 68 points, just four back of Vegas and five short of division-leader Anaheim.
