Chris MacFarland has locked up one of his newest acquisitions.

Bourque, who was a restricted free agent, was dealt to Nashville from Dallas on Wednesday alongside Ilya Lyubushkin in exchange for a 2027 second-round pick and a 2028 third-rounder.

The 24-year-old Bourque broke out in his second full season last year, posting 20 goals and 21 assists in 81 games for the Stars before potting a goal in the post-season.

Over 156 NHL games, Bourque has totalled 66 points (31 goals, 35 assists) in his career.
