Kyle Pitts is staying in Atlanta and getting a steep raise.

The star tight end agreed to a three-year, $54 million contract with the Falcons, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Tuesday. The new deal includes $36 million in guaranteed money.

The signing makes Pitts the third-highest paid tight end in the league by average annual earnings, behind only George Kittle and Trey McBride.

Pitts recorded career-highs across the board in 2025, including receptions (88), receiving yards (928), and receiving touchdowns (5). He was rewarded with a Second-team All-Pro nod, the first such of his career.

The fourth overall pick in 2021, Pitts is the highest-drafted tight end in NFL history, and has been dubbed a generational talent.

Coming off an 8-9 season in 2025, Pitts and the Falcons will look to get back to the playoffs this season under new head coach Kevin Stefanski.
