The Bananas have said the selection process involved interest from cities and venues around the world. Earlier this year, team owner Jesse Cole said the organization had heard from more than 200 cities across every state, as well as 10 countries, including Canada and Mexico.

The team has also teased that the 2027 announcement could include new destinations, including MLB and NFL stadiums, iconic venues and even unexpected places where fans might not expect to see Banana Ball.

Could the Savannah Bananas play in Canada or Mexico?

The Bananas have not confirmed that Canada or Mexico will be part of the 2027 schedule.

However, both countries have previously been mentioned as places that expressed interest in hosting Banana Ball, and they’re featured on the team’s social media graphic.

For now, fans will have to wait until Thursday’s City Selection Show for the official schedule.

How many cities will the Savannah Bananas visit in 2027?

The Bananas previously said they were looking to select 75 locations for the 2027 tour.

The organization has emphasized choosing cities and venues that can provide a strong experience for fans.

The Bananas played in the New Orleans Superdome, Yankees Stadium, Angel Stadium, Gillette Stadium, Wrigley Field and more college, NFL and MLB stadiums in 2026.

What happens after the 2027 schedule is announced?

Once the cities are revealed, fans will be able to find out whether Banana Ball is coming to their area.

The Bananas have used a ticket lottery system because of the high demand for games, meaning being selected for the list does not necessarily guarantee the opportunity to purchase tickets.
