Nigeria internationals Semi Ajayi and Taiwo Awoniyi both played 90 minutes as Hull City defeated Coventry City 1–0 in Saturday’s Premier League clash.
Ajayi helped Hull keep a clean sheet, while Awoniyi led the Coventry attack as both Nigerians faced each other.
Liam Millar scored the only goal eight minutes from time to give Hull their second win in two games.
Meanwhile, Frank Onyeka missed the match for Coventry due to a knock.
Hull, who were tipped for relegation before the season, are now flying high with six points from their opening two games.
