Social media reacts to Florida football’s most recent commitments
Florida football gained two additional commits on Friday, as four-star defensive lineman Cahron Wheeler and three-star athlete Kamarion Johnson pledged to the Orange and Blue. The future signings generated a considerable amount of buzz across social media, with Gators staff, experts and other 2027 commits reacting to the news.
The Gators’ latest class continues to draw national attention, being ranked as high as No. 3 by 247Sports and landing in the top 5 of ESPN’s team rankings. New head coach Jon Sumrall and company have had marketable success on the trail since his arrival late last year, building one of the most talented units in the country.

Sumrall took to social media as well, celebrating both commitments with a simple “GOOD” post on X. Defensive coordinator Brad White chimed in with a message of his own, denoting the excitement around the program and optimism that Florida is trending in the right direction in this new era.
