Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry is set to make NBA history after becoming the first active player to receive a dedicated exhibit at the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
The exhibit will officially open on Friday to recognise Curry’s impact on basketball while he is still an active player.
The Warriors announced the milestone on social media, describing it as another historic achievement for the four-time NBA champion.
“He changed the game for good. And now, he makes history yet again.”
Curry’s influence on the game extends beyond his individual accolades. He is widely regarded as the greatest shooter in NBA history; the 37-year-old has also transformed the way basketball is played, inspiring teams at every level to embrace the three-point shot.
The two-time NBA MVP has won four NBA championships with the Warriors, earned an NBA Finals MVP award and became the league’s all-time leader in three-pointers made.
