While plastic tees are all the rage at some courses, and the fact that they are near unbreakability is a huge selling point, it’s tough to top the feel of a premium wooden tee. Just ask GOLF senior writer Michael Bamberger, who sang the praises of them — specifically those made by Western Birch — back in 2021.
Bamberger appreciated the tees’ ultra-pointy ends, making them ideal for use on cold winter ground.
