Tijjani Reijnders has completed his move from Manchester City to Saudi Pro League side Al Qadsiah in a deal worth €61 million.

The Netherlands international leaves City just over a year after arriving from AC Milan. Reijnders made 50 appearances for the club, scoring seven goals and providing eight assists during his only season at the Etihad.

His departure marks a surprisingly short spell in Manchester for a midfielder who arrived with high expectations following an impressive period at AC Milan. City have now decided to cash in on the 28-year-old, with Al Qadsiah securing his services for a significant transfer fee.

Reijnders will continue his career in Saudi Arabia under Brendan Rodgers, who took charge of Al Qadsiah in December 2025. The move adds another high-profile European midfielder to the Saudi Pro League.

For Manchester City, the transfer is another major change to a midfield that has already undergone significant reshaping this summer. The club will now look to strengthen its options further following Reijnders’ departure.
