Toronto FC’s Walker Zimmerman shown red card vs. Charlotte
Toronto FC have lost an experienced defender to a red card.
Walker Zimmerman was shown the red in the 56th minute of a game against Charlotte FC in Toronto on Wednesday.
The veteran centreback was penalized for a hard tackle on Charlotte’s Idan Toklomati near midfield.
Zimmerman will now be unavailable for Saturday’s game against Inter Miami.
