Vikings Game Info | Week 2
On Sunday, September 20th, the Minnesota Vikings will play the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field. The Week 2 game is going to see kickoff take place at 12:00 p.m. CT.
Each NFC North team moves into the contest at 1-0. Whoever wins will sit alone at the top of the division since Green Bay (0-1) and Detroit (1-1) have earned a loss.
Bad weather could be a factor. In fact, Vikings special teams coordinator Matt Daniels spoke about that possibility earlier in the week. Pray that there’s no thunder and lightning and that the issues are constrained to wind and rain.
The Vikings’ injury report isn’t pristine.
Most notably, QB1 Kyler Murray isn’t able to play due to his concussion recovery. Carson Wentz is getting the start while J.J. McCarthy is being bumped up to being the main backup, at least for a week.
Otherwise, note that WR3 Jauan Jennings is missing the game due to a personal matter while RB1/2 Jordan Mason has been shuffled to the IR due to a thumb injury.
RT1 Brian O’Neill moves into the game with a questionable status.
