World Cup 2026: Bellingham’s brace sends England past Norway to semi-finals

England fought back from 1-0 down in Miami on Saturday to defeat Norway 2-1 after extra time, securing their passage to the World Cup semi-finals.

After Andreas Schjelderup’s brilliant opening goal put Norway ahead, Bellingham equalised just before half-time. 

The match remained tightly contested throughout the second half as both sides created chances, with Norway’s attacking threat centred on Haaland’s relentless intensity. 

Bellingham then scored the decisive second goal in the 93rd minute.

England will now face the winner of the ArgentinaSwitzerland match, bidding to reach their first World Cup final since 1966.
