Taylor Frankie Paul has resurfaced in Utah following news that her season of The Bachelorette was scrubbed by ABC.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star, 31, was spotted for the first time since the bombshell announcement, per new photos obtained by Daily Mail published on Friday, March 20. Taylor was seen on the phone in her white SUV outside of her nearly $700k five-bedroom home.

Taylor was clad in dark oversized sunglasses and a green sweatshirt. Prior to her sighting, she had been in New York promoting her now-canceled debut as lead of the hit dating show.

ABC’s decision to pull the entire season came after it was revealed that Taylor and her on-again, off-again boyfriend Dakota Mortensen are involved in an ongoing domestic violence investigation stemming from an incident in February. In another shocking turn of events on Friday, Dakota, 33, was granted a temporary restraining order against his ex and temporary custody of their 2-year-old son, Ever. Us Weekly reached out to Taylor for comment.

A hearing has been scheduled for April 7.

Dakota had filed the court docs on Thursday, March 19, shortly after footage surfaced of Taylor throwing a stool at him while her daughter — the eldest of her two kids with ex-husband Tate Paul — was present during an altercation in 2023. (She was previously arrested for the incident and later pleaded guilty to aggravated assault.)

Taylor is currently on 3-year probation, which is set to end in August 2026.

“Even if there ultimately isn’t enough to formally charge her in the most recent case, the prosecutor could still treat it as a probation violation — potentially moving to revoke her prior deal and seek custody time,” criminal defense attorney R.J. Dreiling, who is not handling the case, exclusively told Us on Thursday.

In response to the domestic violence allegations, Taylor exclusively told Us “there’s more to the context to everything and it’s unfortunate” during an appearance at a New York City press dinner on Tuesday, March 17. “It’s been hard. And it sucks to be in this position.”

“And the mother that I am, that is something I will always stand my ground on,” she added. “I believe that I am a good mother and I have always treated my kids very well. So the headlines that are out right now are very hard to see because that’s not the truth of it.”

Taylor also spoke out after the cancellation of her Bachelorette season. A spokesperson for the star told Us on her behalf, “After years of silently suffering extensive mental and physical abuse as well as threats of retaliation, Taylor is finally gaining the strength to face her accuser and taking steps to ensure that she and her children are protected from any further harm.”

“In light of the newly released video just surfaced today, we have made the decision to not move forward with the new season of The Bachelorette at this time, and our focus is on supporting the family,” the statement said, per The Blast.

“This is called physical abuse. This is all you do,” Mortesen could be heard saying in the video. “It’s the only thing you know how to do is hurt me. You think this is OK? It’s not OK. Holy sh-t.”

Elsewhere in the clip, Paul is seen throwing heavy metal chairs at Mortensen, one of which reportedly hit her minor daughter in the head.

The now-viral video is from a 2023 incident that later resulted in Paul being charged with one felony count of aggravated assault and two felony counts of domestic violence in the presence of a child.

In an interview with ELLE Spain published on March 20, Peltz shared how her husband, Beckham, fits into the Peltz’s lives. The actress said her parents, billionaire businessman Nelson Peltz and former model Claudia Heffner Peltz, treat Beckham like “another son.”

Peltz, who has six brothers, added that Bekcham also had a good relationship with his brothers. “He gets along really well with my brothers. They play soccer together a lot,” she shared.

In February, as reported by The Blast, Peltz’s father, Nelson, was asked about the ongoing tensions between Beckham and his parents. He said he advised the couple to “stay the hell out of the press” but didn’t elaborate further, saying instead, “I’ll tell you my daughter’s great, my son-in-law Brooklyn, is great, and I look forward to them having a long, happy marriage together.”

A report suggested that Netflix could have made as much as $50 million in the U.K. alone by giving the film a proper theatrical run, as opposed to the token release that it ultimately received. In its first weekend in British theaters, the movie outgrossed Scream 7 and The Bride!, which were playing in a significantly higher number of venues. The crime drama serves as a follow-up to one of Netflix’s most popular shows, Peaky Blinders, which aired six seasons from 2013 to 2022 and has since established itself as a fan-favorite. The show charted the trials and tribulations of an outlaw family in early 20th-century England. A follow-up series is currently in the works as well.

‘Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man’ Unseated Alan Ritchson’s Hit

Buffy the Vampire Slayer star Nicholas Brendon is dead at age 54.

“We are heartbroken to share the passing of our brother and son, Nicholas Brendon,” the actor’s family told Us Weekly in a Friday, March 20, statement, noting that Brendon died in his sleep of “natural causes.” (The Hollywood Reporter was the first to report the news.)

“Most people know Nicky for his work as an actor and for the characters he brought to life over the years. In recent years, Nicky has found his passion in painting and art,” the statement continued. “Nicky loved to share his enthusiastic talent with his family, friends and fans. He was passionate, sensitive, and endlessly driven to create. Those who truly knew him understood that his art was one of the purest reflections of who he was.”

Brendon’s family shared that while it is “no secret” he “had struggles in the past,” he was “on medications and treatment to manage his diagnosis and he was optimistic about the future at the time of his passing.”

Brendon was best known for his role as Xander Harris on Buffy, which he starred on for seven seasons alongside Sarah Michelle Gellar, Alyson Hannigan, David Boreanaz, Anthony Head and more. He also appeared in other various TV and film projects up until 2021.

In 2023, Brendon revealed he had suffered a heart attack and had been diagnosed with a congenital heart defect, as well as cauda equina syndrome. He had undergone several spinal surgeries prior to his death.
