Police were called at around 5.50pm in Shire Gardens, Radcliffe, yesterday, Thursday, and discovered a man in his 30s with injuries described as not life-threatening or life-changing.

A man was arrested on suspicion of assault and wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm in Radcliffe.

A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “At around 5.50pm on Thursday, April 3, we were called to reports of a disturbance in Shire Gardens in Radcliffe.

“Officers attended and located a man in his 30s with injuries that are described as not life-threatening or life-changing.

“A man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of assault and wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm and remains in custody for questioning.

 “Enquiries are ongoing.”
