Offset Reacts After Lil Tjay Calls Him Out For Rumors Surrounding The Casino Shooting
Offset’s statement is the first time he spoke directly about his status after the shooting at a Florida casino. However, he did drop a brief message on social media right after the incident. Details around the shooting are still unclear. At the time, authorities took Lil Tjay into custody after he was reportedly involved in a fight right before gunshots rang out. Tjay faced charges including “disorderly conduct” and “operating a vehicle without a valid license.” His booking record didn’t mention the shooting or include any gun-related charges.
A clip from NBC 6 South Florida’s Instagram shows Tjay speaking with reporters while walking out of jail. He doubled down on his claim that he didn’t take part in any fights and called out Offset for spreading false claims that he shot at him. “The last thing I seen was Offset looking at me like this, ‘Yo, that n***a shot me. That n***a shot me […] N***a is a rat,” Tjay told reporters. Offset appeared to peep Tjay’s comments and ended up jumping on Instagram with a message that read, “U aint buss nun.”

7 Netflix Shows That Are Amazing From Start to Finish
The great thing about Netflix is that it offers a diverse range of content for all kinds of audiences. The platform never seems to run out of new and trending entertainment, and while that is a great concept, it also backfires sometimes.
The streamer is home to so many shows at this point that picking one almost feels like a task in itself. That’s where a list like this comes in handy. Here are the Netflix shows that are guaranteed to pull the audience in and entertain them from start to finish.
‘Dark’ (2017–2020)
Dark is Netflix’s first German-language original series, but it’s memorable for far more than just that. The show begins with a child going missing in the small town of Winden. That becomes the catalyst for one of the most intricately constructed narratives in TV history. The story unfolds across several timelines and revolves around four families hiding secrets that lead back to a wormhole hiding in the Winden Nuclear Power Plant. What’s great about the show is how carefully it builds its mythology. Dark never treats time travel like a gimmick, because it’s the very skeleton that the story centers on.
Now, a huge part of why it all comes together perfectly is the casting. Each character exists across multiple timelines, and hence, is played by different actors at different ages. However, the performances are so consistent that the audience is almost tricked into believing these are the same people. That shows just how much work the show has put into its world-building and emotional core. Not to mention that it delivered one of the most satisfying finales in recent times. For a show so complex, it’s fascinating how bingeable Dark is until the very last scene.
‘The Crown’ (2016–2023)
The Crown is unlike any other show on Netflix. The series, created by Peter Morgan, is a six-season-long dramatization of Queen Elizabeth II‘s reign. The story begins with the queen’s 1947 wedding and follows her journey to becoming one of the longest-reigning monarchs in history. Of course, the show is never really just about the queen. Instead, it is a deep dive into the institution that she inherits along with the people around her. The timeline moves forward in each season, and the entire core cast is replaced with older actors. Now, this transition could have easily been extremely jarring, but the show does a great job of reframing the characters through a different lens.
For instance, Claire Foy‘s Elizabeth is strong but still uncertain of what lies ahead. On the other hand, Olivia Colman portrays the character as more guarded and shaped by decades of duty. By the time Imelda Staunton takes over the role, the audience genuinely feels as though they have watched Elizabeth grow through the years. The Crown strikes the perfect balance between personal and political storylines without ever feeling convoluted. There’s no denying that the final two seasons are a little less historically accurate than the initial ones, but that doesn’t change the fact that The Crown is prestige TV at its best.
‘The Queen’s Gambit’ (2020)
The Queen’s Gambit has set the benchmark for what a miniseries can be. The show is a masterclass in storytelling and follows Beth Harmon (Anya Taylor-Joy), who is orphaned at nine and becomes a chess prodigy. The story follows Beth’s rise through regional tournaments, national championships, and eventually to Moscow, where she faces the Soviet world champion. It’s fascinating how The Queen’s Gambit makes chess feel so exhilarating, but all the external competition Beth faces is barely the main point.
The show explores how the protagonist finds ways to cope with the trauma she has been through. Beth’s addiction, her relationship with her adoptive mother, and the loneliness she lives with are the true emotional core of the story. Beth is not easy to root for, but Taylor-Joy plays her with a realness that’s impossible to look away from. The show’s stunning visuals, accurate period details, and costumes are just the cherry on top. All in all, The Queen’s Gambit keeps the audience hooked till the very last minute, not just because of the big match, but also because of how invested they are in Beth’s personal journey.
‘The Haunting of Hill House’ (2018)
The Haunting of Hill House has set an unbelievable standard for horror TV series. The show, created by Mike Flanagan, tells the story of the Crain family and the summer they moved into the eerie and mysterious Hill House. The story unfolds across two different timelines and follows the Crain siblings as children, and then as adults who are coping with the strange death of their mother. Unfortunately, though, none of them seem to have escaped the shadow Hill House casts over their lives, and somehow, all of it goes back to the fateful night they fled the place with their father.
The horror in The Haunting of Hill House doesn’t come from jump scares. Even the paranormal elements in the show serve as metaphors for the Crain family’s personal fears and trauma. Hill House itself serves as a living, breathing character with its own role to play in the narrative. Early episodes can feel a bit disorienting as the past and present come together, but the slow build rewards the audience with a payoff so well constructed that it reframes everything they thought they knew. The show delivers plenty of chills, but more than that, it’s a story about grief and the way families crumble under pressure.
‘Beef’ (2023–Present)
Beef is a masterpiece that places its audience and the characters in a pressure cooker of tension. Beef Season 1 begins with struggling contractor Danny Cho (Steven Yeun) and entrepreneur Amy Lau (Ali Wong) getting into a road-rage incident with each other. However, instead of moving on, the two find themselves consumed by this petty feud, and as they take turns retaliating, their beef grows more personal and destructive. Despite the absurd premise, the show doesn’t reduce its characters to stereotypes and actually works to uncover why exactly they are so angry, not just at each other, but at the world.
Beef is a masterclass in pacing, and the escalation never feels forced. The show moves between dark comedy, psychological drama, and tragedy with immaculate precision, and the chemistry between Yeun and Wong is the heart of it all. Beef Season 2 is set to premiere on April 16 and will follow Charles Melton and Cailee Spaeny as a young couple who witness an alarming fight between their boss and his wife. If the show’s first installment is anything to go by, viewers can expect another interesting exploration of how humans behave when they are pushed to their limits.
‘Mindhunter’ (2017–2019)
Mindhunter truly changed the game for TV shows when it premiered. The psychological crime series follows FBI agents Holden Ford (Jonathan Groff) and Bill Tench (Holt McCallany), alongside psychologist Wendy Carr (Anna Torv), as they work to understand the minds of dangerous serial killers. The show tracks the early days of criminal profiling in the 1970s and revolves around the trio interviewing imprisoned murderers to identify patterns and prevent future crimes. Mindhunter is less about the violence and more about getting into the minds of these criminals to figure out what drives them.
However, the story also focuses on the impact of it all on the FBI agents and their personal lives. Mindhunter is known for its eerily accurate portrayals of famous serial killers, including Edmund Kemper, Jerry Brudos, and Richard Speck. However, the show thrives on much more than just shock value. It builds tension solely through intense conversations that force the audience to sit in discomfort. Despite its dark premise, it’s almost impossible to stop watching Mindhunter until the story is over.
‘Adolescence’ (2025)
No one saw Adolescence coming, and maybe that’s why it hits so hard. The show is far from a coming-of-age story as the title suggests. Instead, it is a harsh look at how vulnerable children are in their formative years. The show begins with the police arresting 13-year-old Jamie Miller (Owen Cooper) for the murder of his classmate, Katie (Emilia Holliday). In the beginning, it’s almost impossible to believe that a boy as innocent-looking as Jamie could have done something so heinous. In fact, the entirety of the first episode follows the police as they question Jamie and his parents and take him through the procedural motions of the arrest.
However, the show’s most haunting moment comes near the end of “Episode 1,” when the officers reveal the footage where Jamie is seen committing the murder, and that changes everything. The following episodes center on Jamie’s school, his session with a forensic psychologist, and lastly, how his family copes with the reality of the situation. Adolescence doesn’t sugarcoat its emotions and can be extremely overwhelming at times. That’s exactly the point, though, because it doesn’t want to leave the audience with easy answers. The show’s single-take format makes everything feel all the more urgent and real, and contributes to why Adolescence stays with the audience long after the credits roll.

A Guide to Mick Fleetwood’s 4 Wives From 5 Marriages
Mick Fleetwood is no stranger to love, having married four women in five weddings.
The Fleetwood Mac drummer and band cofounder famously romanced bandmate Stevie Nicks in 1977 between his two marriages to Jenny Boyd, with whom he shares two children. The musician later married Nicks’ close friend Sara Recor in 1988 following a 10-year relationship.
Fleetwood celebrated his fourth marriage with third wife Lynn Frankel in 1995. Once the couple, who share two daughters, split, the rocker moved on with Elizabeth Jordan. Fleetwood surprised fans in March 2026 when he revealed he and Jordan had gotten hitched that month.
Scroll down to meet Fleetwood’s four wives:
Jenny Boyd

Mick Fleetwood married model Jenny Boyd in 1970. The pair went on to welcome two daughters, Amy and Lucy, before divorcing in 1976. During their first marriage, Boyd had a two-week affair with Bob Weston, Fleetwood Mac’s guitarist, which resulted in him being fired.
Following a brief break, Fleetwood and Boyd rekindled their romance, tying the knot a second time in 1977 while Fleetwood Mac was on tour in Ireland. That same year, Fleetwood had an affair with Stevie Nicks amid their Rumours tour. Boyd and Fleetwood split for good in 1978 in the wake of the scandal.
Boyd later married English drummer Ian Wallace in 1984. The pair divorced in 1990. She wed architect David Levitt in 1997.
Boyd attended the University of California, Los Angeles in the 1980s, earning her PhD in psychology. She went on to become a manager of an addiction treatment clinic. She is now a published author, having written her autobiography Jennifer Juniper in 2020 and Icons of Rock: In Their Own Words, with interviews from her famous friends.
Jenny, however, wasn’t the only one in her family who married a famous musician. Her older sister, model Pattie Boyd, was Beatles legend George Harrison’s muse during their marriage from 1966 to 1977. Pattie was also married to Eric Clapton from 1979 to 1989.
Sara Recor

Following his brief romance with bandmate Stevie Nicks, Mick Fleetwood fell for her friend Sara Recor, which reportedly fractured the women’s friendship. Recor was also married when she first met Fleetwood, but in 1978, she left her husband and moved in with the musician.
Nicks’ heartbreak over Recor hooking up with Fleetwood is said to be part of the inspiration behind Fleetwood Mac’s 1979 hit “Sara.”
Nearly a decade after the song was released, Recor and Fleetwood tied the knot in 1988 and Nicks was at the wedding. The pair, however, didn’t last and they divorced in 1995. Recor no longer lives in the public eye.
Lynn Frankel

Mick Fleetwood married his third wife, Lynn Frankel, in 1995. The relationship was his longest to date, lasting nearly 20 years. During their marriage, Fleetwood and Frankel welcomed twin daughters Ruby and Tessa in 2002. The couple parted ways in 2013, finalizing their divorce in 2015.
Frankel is a designer, she released a lamp collection in 2025, and professional photographer. According to her Instagram bio, she is also a “lover of Elephants” and “obsessed with ambient lighting.”
Elizabeth Jordan

Mick Fleetwood introduced fans to partner Elizabeth Jordan, who is 22 years his junior, in 2023 when they stepped out at the 65th annual Grammy Awards. Over the next two years, the pair were spotted at several awards shows and attended red carpet events as a couple. News broke in March 2025 that they were engaged.
Fleetwood confirmed in March 2026 that he and Jordan quietly tied the knot. “The south Pacific does its magic!!! A honeymoon with my love Elizabeth,” he captioned a series of Instagram photos from their romantic celebration.
Jordan runs a property management company based in Hawaii and reportedly has homes in California and New York. She is the mother of two from a prior relationship and is the executive director of The Mick Fleetwood Foundation, founded in 2023.

Usher, Chris Brown Excite Fans With Joint Tour: ‘OMG’
Usher and Chris Brown are hitting the road together. The R&B heavyweights announced a joint tour via an Instagram post, and while details are currently sparse, the anticipation is already at a fever pitch.
Usher And Chris Brown Are Going On Tour

The Instagram announcement for the “R&B Tour” captures the two icons tearing down open roadways on motorcycles before boarding an elevator and emerging into the roar of a packed stadium.
“ITS TIME! #R&BTOUR #Raymond&Brown,” the post was captioned.
While specific tour dates remain shrouded in mystery, the digital frenzy suggests fans are already sold.

The pair’s joint IG post has already amassed one million likes and nearly 85,000 comments as of this publication.
Excited fans have flooded the comment section, swearing they’ll be in the building the moment the tour kicks off.
“We will be there no matter the location. No matter the budget. WE WILL BE THERE,” someone wrote, while another added, “Not a thing in this world will stop me from being there.”
Other users highlighted the tour’s potential impact on pop culture, with one enthusiast sharing, “Probably the biggest tour of this decade!!!”
“Ain’t enough seats anywhere to house this,” another wrote.
The Two Singers Are Joining Forces After Allegedly Getting Into A Physical Altercation In 2023
The news of Usher and Brown’s joint venture comes years after the pair allegedly got into an altercation during Brown’s birthday party in Las Vegas, according to Complex.
A source shared that things escalated when Usher (and others) noticed Brown acting in a “disrespectful” manner toward Teyana Taylor.
The insider went on to share that Brown exchanged words with Usher before they went outside, where Brown’s security team allegedly jumped the “Bad Girl” singer.
The next day, both singers performed at the “Lovers & Friends” festival. Hours before he was scheduled to appear on stage, Usher posted a video of himself on social media, where he appeared to be injury-free.
“We’re here having a great time,” he said. “See y’all at the show.”
Chris Brown Said He Wanted To Battle Usher In A ‘Verzuz’ Competition

The joint tour is also commanding massive attention because of the storied rivalry between the two R&B titans.
During a Drink Champs interview, Brown expressed interest in a “Verzuz” battle against Usher—the heavyweight music series where legends go song-for-song. Brown explained that a face-off would be a tribute to their collective impact, noting, “I can’t act like he ain’t a pioneer, as well.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Brown pivoted to Drake, calling him a “formidable champ” but noting the divide between their genres. “But you gotta think, when we go back to genres, you know what the consensus was? ’Nah, they don’t do the same music,” Brown said.
Brown was quick to clarify that he wasn’t backing down from a potential battle with the rapper. “I ain’t ducking no smoke but at the same time I know he’s a formidable opponent,” he said. “I know … that n–a got hits, just like I got hits.”
Usher And Chris Brown Are Pros At Touring

Usher and Brown’s upcoming tour should make quite the splash, as both stars are coming off the heels of massive, headline-making runs.
Brown’s “Breezy Bowl XX” wrapped in October 2025 after grossing $295.5 million and selling nearly 2 million tickets across 49 shows.
Usher, meanwhile, successfully concluded his “My Way: The Vegas Residency,” which grossed $83.6 million and sold 349,000 tickets across 71 performances.
For Usher, the Vegas stint was more than just a gig—it was a homecoming. “I began to curate my own little world here,” he told The Hollywood Reporter. “I’ve actually put a flag in the ground. I’ve actually moved here. For one year, I’ve been here. I’m not saying that this is the end-all, be-all, but I have a place here so I can accommodate my family.”
Even as a seasoned veteran, Usher admitted that breathing life into the residency was “nerve-racking.”
“I spent my life entertaining people — this is the point where I get a chance to enjoy myself. So I’m doing what I want to do as opposed to thinking about what I need to and wondering if everybody’s getting enough of what they need,” he said. “I get a chance to sweat it out and sing and relive some of those choreographic moments and then have impromptu moments where I bring people on the stage to celebrate.”

Rapper Offset Torched Over Alleged Gambling Addiction
Things are looking grim for rapper Offset. After being released from the hospital following a shooting in Florida, the Migos member is being roasted on social media for something totally unexpected.
Offset has been at the center of a whirlwind lately, as the rapper—who shares three children with superstar Cardi B—has been embroiled in a messy divorce, a paternity dispute, and a lawsuit from a Detroit casino over an alleged six-figure debt.

“Thank you to everyone who’s checked in on me and showed me love!” he wrote on Instagram. “I’m good… but I’m planning to be better!”
Offset shared that he was focused on his family, his health, and prioritizing music. “Realizing that life is made up of quiet wins and loud losses,” he wrote. “Life’s a gamble, and I’m still playing to win.”
The rapper’s statement quickly went viral for all the wrong reasons, though. Critics blasted the 34-year-old for describing life as a “gamble” just days after being shot outside a casino, with many suggesting his choice of words points to a deeper addiction.
Offset Was Shot Outside Of A Casino In Florida

For those unfamiliar, Offset was hospitalized after a dispute in Florida in April 2026, according to NBC News.
The rapper was shot and rushed to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries outside the casino around 7 PM.
The Seminole Police Department later arrested rapper Lil Tjay in connection with the incident that occurred near the valet area outside of Seminole Hard Rock.
The 24-year-old rapper was booked in the Broward County Jail and held on a $500 bond. His lawyer, Dawn M. Florio, clapped back against the allegations, calling them “rumors.”
Despite the claims, Florio said Lil TJay had not been charged with any shooting. “We encourage people to consult trusted news sources, and to verify the accuracy of any reporting, before reflexively sharing or repeating baseless rumors,” Florio added.
Lil Tjay And Offset Have A Long History

After being released from jail, Lil Tjay broke his silence on the matter, labeling Offset a “rat” before saying he would “smack the sh-t” out of him, according to BET.
Lil Tjay said he had nothing to do with Offset’s shooting and, in a statement, claimed Offset allegedly framed him.
The pair’s beef dates back to January 2025, when Lil TJay allegedly loaned Offset $10,000 after the rapper lost a series of bets at a casino. Offset reportedly failed to repay him, sparking even more drama.

Given the severity of the incident, social media users were stunned that Offset chose to lean into gambling metaphors in his first public statement.
“Life’s a gamble, bro ain’t gonna stop going to the casino,” someone said, while another wrote, “He gone be back at the casino.”
“This guy gonna make a gambling pun at this time in his life?! He ain’t changing sh-t,” the second user continued.
“My boy said all that and ended with “life’s a gamble”…this sh-t not gonna stop,” another invested fan commented.
“Maybe stop gambling tho,” said another.
Offset Recently Sued Over An Alleged Six Figure Gambling Debt

According to The Blast, Offset was sued by a Detroit casino shortly after being shot over an alleged $100,000 line of credit he has yet to pay.
The legal documents reportedly claim Offset opened the line during a wild night of gambling and fun in March 2024.
The Detroit casino was unable to reach Offset regarding the bill, so they attempted to withdraw funds from his account. When they attempted to retrieve the funds, they were unable to because the account reportedly had insufficient funds.
The casino is suing the rapper for breach of contract, fraud, and more. A spokesperson told the outlet that Offset was “working toward a resolution.”
Amid the madness, Offset is navigating a volatile divorce from his ex, Cardi B. During a candid sit-down with Gayle King on CBS Mornings, the “Press” rapper pulled back the curtain on the turmoil that ultimately led to their split.
“We should be able to raise kids,” she said. “We should be able to ask each other questions. We should be able to be like, ‘Hey, look at what one of the kids just did. Look at this. Look at the report card.’ We should be able to celebrate. But it’s not about the kids.”
“I just wish he was a better person, but it is what it is,” she continued. “Be a better person for your kids.”

Justin Bieber’s Classics Spark Coachella Ticket Chaos
The stakes are getting higher for some fans who plan to watch Justin Bieber perform at Coachella.
The prices for tickets to the music festival have skyrocketed within hours after fans got a glimpse of the songs that would be performed. His performance is set to top the charts on Coachella’s financial records as the highest-paid headliner.
Justin Bieber’s success continues to make waves in the industry, especially with steady wins on his chart-topping albums. This does not mark his first performance at Coachella, as he has appeared alongside other hit singers over the years.
Coachella Ticket Prices Surge As Justin Bieber Rehearsals Leak

Bieber has inevitably raised the stakes for those who waited till the last minute to purchase their tickets to the upcoming Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. The ticket prices have gone as high as thousands of dollars shortly after a clip went viral of a fan hearing his rehearsal from a distance.
The leaked clip posted on TikTok shows the fan vibing to the artist’s songs and voice in the background. Classic Bieber tunes like “Baby,” “One Less Lonely Girl,” and “Beauty and A Beat” echoed from the distant speakers. The waves of nostalgia hitting fans as they heard the tunes sent many into a spiral, which erupted into ticket chaos.
Fans have been scrambling to get the tickets to the event, and the prices are through the roof. Resale tickets are going for as high as $4000 for general admission weekend passes, and according to TMZ, they started at $649 back in September.
The Artist’s Performance May Be One Of A Lifetime

The “Lifetime” singer may not be back on stage for a while. His last tour was in 2022, which he did not complete after he received a shocking health update. Bieber was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, and so, he had to cancel the tour early.
According to the Mayo Clinic, Ramsay Hunt Syndrome is caused when the varicella-zoster virus affects certain nerves of the face. It causes a painful rash called shingles that affects the ears and/or face and mouth. The shingles may cause loss of movement of one side of the face, changes in hearing, taste, and balance.
There have been whispers that the former child singer may not be going on tour anytime soon, so this Coachella performance may mark the last time he’ll be on stage in a long time. This could also be the reason why the musician has reportedly been out there sound-checking all his throwback hits, similar to what Taylor Swift did on her “Eras Tour.”
Justin Bieber Bagged A Multi-Million Dollar Deal Without An Agency

Bieber reportedly set his name in lights in Coachella’s history without a third party. The iconic singer made waves last year after signing the $10 million deal. This deal added a gem to his name as the music event’s highest-paid headliner, earning a seven-figure payout and becoming the first to do so directly, without using an agency.
The Blast reported that the artist is to be paid the lump sum for two weekends of performance. The total amount goes directly to Bieber as he negotiated his headlining fee with Goldenvoice without a third party, hence no worries about paying agency commission.
Bieber is no stranger to the Coachella stage, but this marks his debut solo performance. He performed his hit song “Sorry” with Ariana Grande, who headlined Coachella in 2019. In 2022, he sang “Peaches” alongside Daniel Caesar, and in 2024, with Nigerian artists Tems and WizKid, the father of one collaborated on “Essence.”
The Popstar Made A Career Tilt

The entertainment industry is so broad, and Bieber is not done exploring his wits. Despite his huge standing in the music world, the artist decided to test the waters as a streamer. He announced last October that he would officially start streaming live on Twitch.
His first stream was filmed on a massive soundstage with an indoor basketball court, a golf course, a skateboard half-pipe, and a large pool table, as reported by The Blast. The stream, however, did not mix with his musical personality but rather was focused on his sporty side.
During the livestream, the “Sorry” singer played basketball with his friends for about 35 minutes before playing a game of pool, ping-pong, and riding on his skateboard later on. The music icon did not really interact with the thousands of fans who tuned in to watch the session until the last few minutes before he signed off, where he gave a quick tour of the soundstage.
Justin Bieber’s Life Hasn’t Been Smooth Sailing

Even though his career continues to rise to greatness, the artist has faced his fair share of challenges, especially with people in his circle. In recent years, Bieber reportedly had to cut ties with long-time friend Usher after the revelation about Sean “Diddy” Combs made headlines.
Usher and Bieber were close for almost two decades and have fostered a healthy relationship since the start of the “Baby” Singer’s career as a teenager. An insider shared that after the allegations against Diddy came to light, Bieber began to reevaluate his relationships. During the 2026 Oscars private after-party, Usher reportedly confronted his former protégé, and the interaction allegedly turned physical.
While neither party has spoken to confirm or deny the altercation, The Blast reports that insiders shared insight into the reason behind the feud. “This didn’t start that night. It’s been simmering for a long time, “Justin feels like he’s finally seeing things clearly, and he does not like what he sees,” the source revealed.

How ‘The Pitt’ Helped Patrick Ball Axe An 80K Burden
Patrick Ball wouldn’t be where he is today without Max‘s popular television show, “The Pitt.” In a new interview, the 36-year-old opened up about how his role on the show helped him escape a crushing $80,000 burden.
Patrick Ball Made His Broadway Debut In ‘Becky Shaw’

Ball recently made his Broadway debut as Andrew in “Becky Shaw,” a dark comedy about a bad first date that sets off a domino effect among a group of emotionally unstable adults grappling with complex issues.
During his interview with Cultured Magazine, Ball called being in the show “bittersweet,” reflecting on his early days as a theater kid.
“I’m very excited to get my days back and be able to spend time in the park, but being in rehearsal is my favorite place in the universe. It’s something that you don’t really get in film and television. The tinkeringness of theater is something that I just absolutely love and I’m kind of sad that it’s gonna be over,” he said.
How Did Patrick Ball Become Involved In ‘Becky Shaw’ On Broadway?

While Ball is playing the role of Andrew, a 31-year-old office manager who hopes to build a thriving career as a writer, he said he was first drawn to the role of Max, an arrogant NYC financial advisor.
“Most of my career, I would be playing the bull in the china shop—the overtly aggressive a**hole that you realize may not be an a**hole,” he said.
However, after speaking with the show’s director and writer, Ball said he saw his character in a different light.
“Then I spent a week with the play and I came back, like, ‘Now that I look a little bit closer at this Andrew guy, there’s a sort of insidious, performative, nice guy thing here that is very layered and very interesting and something that I actually think I do need to talk about right now,’” he continued.
There’s A Reason Ball Felt Closely Alligned To The Role Of Max

The more time Ball spends with the production, the more he recognizes the deeper complexities within the script.
“I didn’t realize how funny the play was from the page, but this whole conversation around the overt aggression versus covert aggression, the assumption that this person is a sweetie pie, your best friend, rubs your back and tells you everything you want to hear, but is secretly taking over your life and emotionally blackmailing you—that is an interesting thing to talk about,” he shared.
The aggressive nature of the show is something Ball is familiar with in real life, he said. “I just genuinely believe that clarity is kindness, and I try to be straightforward with people. As a Scorpio, I’m very aware of people’s indirect aggressions, so I like to just be straight up. I’m a fairly boundaried person and I’ve learned that over my now long life of not writing checks you can’t cash,” he added.
How Starring In ‘The Pitt’ Helped Patrick Ball Escape An $80,000 Burden He Thought He’d Live With Forever

When Ball isn’t on the stage, he’s playing the role of Dr. Frank Langdon on Max’s medical drama, “The Pitt.”
Elsewhere in his interview with Cultured, the actor got emotional while discussing how his role on the show helped him escape $80,000 in student loan debt.
“I paid off my student loans like three months into The Pitt, and that was a really profound moment ‘cause I thought I was gonna die with it,” he told the outlet through tears.
Ball went on to call the debt a “huge burden to carry,” adding that he had been involved in several failed relationships due to his financial insecurity.
“I had just thought that was going to be my life forever, and that is a really heavy thing to live with. Paying off those student loans and getting back to zero, I remember being like, ‘Man, if this show works, great. If it doesn’t work, they can’t take that away from me. I am out of debt.’ No take-backsies on that,” he said.

Ball’s tearful confession struck a chord with social media users, one of whom noted the actor’s only television role was on “Law & Order” in 2023.
“I’m glad he booked ‘The Pitt’ because he must’ve been STRESSED about those student loans,” they wrote on Reddit.
Another user resonated with the relief of becoming debt-free, noting they have seen that same transformation in family and friends.
“It’s why the emotion of it lingers for so long because your body, your nervous system, it is just by default used to that stress pinching it closed, like it’s second nature. It rears its filthy head in some strange ways for awhile. It does take YEARS to come to terms with having made it out from under that debt,” they said.

Amanda Batula Apologizes After West Wilson Romance Drama
Summer House’s Amanda Batula has shared a public apology after confirming her romance with West Wilson.
“Hi guys, l’ll keep this short and sweet,” Amanda, 34, shared via Instagram Stories on Friday, April 10. “I’ve obviously been MIA, but I wanted to come back on and say that I’m truly sorry to everyone I’ve disappointed and hurt, especially those I know personally who I’ve reached out to individually.”
Amanda wrote the message alongside a photo of one of the two dogs she shares with estranged husband Kyle Cooke.
“For the sake of my mental health, I’m going to try to start living life with some sense of normalcy,” she added. “If you see me out or posting online, please know that this still weighs very heavily on me. I’m not ignoring what’s happened or what’s unfolded.”

Amanda concluded, “I’ll be at the reunion and will be addressing any and all questions honestly and directly there.”
Amanda’s social media return comes more than one week after she and West, 31, posted a joint Instagram statement confirming that their relationship had evolved to being more than friends.
“We’ve seen the growing online speculation, so while this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity,” they shared on March 31. “It was never our intention to purposely hide anything. Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it.”
Amanda and West shared that they developed feelings for each other after all the “highs and lows” they’ve experienced.
“Our connection grew out of a genuine, longstanding friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care,” they wrote. “We wanted to take time to understand exactly what we were feeling.”

The statement concluded, “We also recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless. We truly appreciate the understanding and respect as we navigate this.”
Amanda was previously married to Kyle for four years, announcing their separation in January. West, for his part, dated Amanda’s best friend and fellow Summer House star Ciara Miller in 2023. The aftermath of their relationship has been showcased on Summer House.
Ahead of Friday’s statement, Amanda was spotted out in New York City with Kyle. Photos obtained by Page Six on April 3 showed the duo hugging as they reunited while walking their dogs.
While Ciara has yet to release an official statement about the situation, Kyle has spoken out.
“I’m good. I appreciate people checking in. I’m actually really worried about Amanda, if I’m being honest,” he told Adam Glyn in a TikTok video uploaded on April 1. “I talked to her last night, and I understand people have all sorts of opinions, and I’m not justifying any behavior, but, like, from what I’m seeing, she’s getting cyberbullied.”
