If you’re looking for a lightweight, durable fabric tote, this one from Baggu looks great.
I was browsing Shopbop the other week and noticed this affordable tote — I’ve always liked Baggu’s more colorful nylon bags, so I was intrigued to see this one.
It’s a “technical weave” made with 59% recycled material and looks quite sturdy. It’s got a lot of thoughtful details, like padded handles, and I also like the zip on top and zippered pocket inside. Also nice: it packs into its own pouch for easy storage.
The bag is $62 at Shopbop in black and a beigey taupe; you can find more colors at Baggu.com. (Ooh: this boxy carry on bag from Baggu also looks great.)

What I Packed for the Beach
Emporio Sirenuse Dress, Call It By Your Name Bag, Janessa Leone Hat, Saint Laurent Sunglasses
The pieces I reached for most were the simplest—easy, refined, and able to move from beach to lunch without a second thought. A few standouts:
What I came back to was how much beach dressing relies on thoughtful layering:
- Lightweight coverups that double as full outfits
- Easy combinations like shorts with a bikini and a button-down
- Sarongs and pareos wrapped multiple ways—skirt, dress, or top—then worn straight into the rest of the day
Julliet Bikini, Janessa Leone Hat |Natalie Martin Dress, Eres Bikini, Call It By Your Name Tote, Janessa Leone Hat, Saint Laurent Sunglasses | Emporio Sirenuse Dress Call It By Your Name Bag, Janessa Leone Hat, Saint Laurent Sunglasses | Lido Bikini, Zimmermann Coverup, Janessa Leone Hat, Call It By Your Name Tote, Saint Laurent Sunglasses
It’s less about quantity and more about versatility, pieces that can shift with you throughout the day. I always bring an oversized white linen button-down (also love this green one!), a simple white tank, and a printed caftan. Everything felt relaxed, but still put together, which is exactly how I want to dress at the beach.

Our daily workwear reports suggest one piece of work-appropriate attire in a range of prices.
Is this hot pink silk jacquard dress from Scanlan Theodore too much? Or is it just right? I think this wrap shirtdress would be absolutely perfect for a day when you need to be the center of attention — like a keynote speech or a big presentation.
If you’re looking to blend in a bit, it also comes in espresso and ocean blue.
The dress is $900 at Scanlan Theodore and comes in sizes 2-12.

Lauryn Hill and Her Children Star in Black-and-White Denim Tears Spring 2026 Campaign Celebrating Heritage and Craftsmanship
In a powerful display of lineage and legacy, Lauryn Hill appears alongside her children in the Denim Tears Spring/Summer 2026 campaign, bringing family and fashion into striking alignment. Shot in black-and-white, the visual story strips away distraction, centering emotion, connection, and the cultural weight behind the collection.

The campaign features Hill with several of her children, including Selah Marley, YG Marley (Joshua Marley), Sara Marley, John Nesta Marley, and Micah Hill, with additional references to her eldest son Zion Marley, reinforcing the full scope of her family legacy.

Styled by Raheem Young, the campaign showcases signature pieces from the collection, including denim jackets, jeans, and accessories adorned with Denim Tears’ iconic cotton wreath motif. Originally conceived by founder Tremaine Emory, the wreath symbolizes the history of cotton and its ties to Black American identity, grounding the collection in both storytelling and symbolism.

Photographed by Liam MacRae, the imagery captures the Hill family in intimate compositions that emphasize proximity and connection. The use of monochrome enhances the narrative, allowing texture, silhouette, and generational presence to take center stage.

Beyond fashion, the campaign reads as a meditation on heritage. Hill—long regarded as one of the most influential voices in music and culture—extends her legacy through her children, many of whom are forging their own paths in music and fashion.

With its focus on family, craftsmanship, and cultural memory, Denim Tears’ Spring 2026 campaign offers more than a seasonal drop—it presents a visual archive of identity, rooted in the past while carried forward by the next generation.

Mary J. Blige in Beige Balmain Cotton Two-Piece for Houseguest Podcast Interview with Scott Evans
Mary J. Blige made an appearance on Scott Evans’ Houseguest podcast in a monochromatic beige Balmain look that delivered structured tailoring with a modern edge.
Styled by Jeremy Haynes, the ensemble featured a cropped cotton jacket with exaggerated shoulders and flap detailing, paired with high-waisted belted shorts accented by a bold gold buckle.

Underneath, Blige layered a neutral-toned bodysuit, keeping the palette cohesive while allowing the silhouette to take center stage. She completed the look with slouchy beige boots, adding dimension and texture to the outfit.

Her glam complemented the clean aesthetic, with makeup by Merrell Hollis and hair by Tym Wallace, who styled her in a sleek blonde bob that framed her face.

The look closely mirrored Balmain’s runway presentation, translating the brand’s signature structured tailoring into a wearable, off-duty moment for the interview setting.
