Mary J Blige’s Rage Over BK Commerical Gains Traction
R&B singer and global superstar Mary J. Blige still isn’t pleased with her spot in a 2012 Burger King commercial. According to some critics, the production, which featured the Grammy-winner singing about chicken, appeared to perpetuate harmful stereotypes, sparking backlash and prompting both Blige and the fast food chain to issue public apologies. Today, the “Enough Cryin’” singer is opening up about how the controversy impacted her career and relationships. However, some social media users appear a bit confused by her firm reaction.
Mary J. Blige ‘Would Never Laugh’ Over What Happened With Her And Burger King In 2012
During an interview with Scott Evans, Blige recalled the commercial, in which she sang about “crispy chicken, fresh lettuce, three cheeses, ranch dressing wrapped up in a tasty flour tortilla,” and said she could never find amusement in the scene.
“I would never laugh at that, because my true, honest fans did not think that sh-t was funny,” she said. “The whole way that s— went down was wrong.”
Blige went further, seemingly implying that Burger King slighted her during the process. “The way they shot it was wrong. It was set up to make exactly what happened in the press happen like that,” she said.
Mary J. Blige ‘Learned A Lot’ From Her BK Commercial

The commercial has since become a viral meme, shared on TikTok and Instagram. While Blige said the situation is far from amusing, she also admitted to having grown as a person because of the fallout. “It’s still not a laughing matter to me, because I was deeply, deeply affected. Now, I learned a lot from it,” she said.
Driving her point home, Blige insisted that the commercial was “not f-cking funny.” Even then, she acknowledged that she couldn’t stop people from enjoying it.
“The bottom line is, my fans were confused. The real, true fans,” she added before revealing her representation did little to stop her from filming the spot. “Everybody dropped the ball, and I’m holding everything. That was a learning curve, but still not funny,” she said.
Mary J. Blige Lost Close Friends Over Her Burger King Commercial

Although the commercial aired, Burger King pulled the promo within 24 hours. For Blige, however, the damage had already been done.
“A lot of my so-called friends are not around anymore. I was like a disease to people. Nobody wanted to be affiliated,” she said. “This is where I learned I go where I’m celebrated at. They were treating me like I was a disease or something.”
Blige apologized for her role in 2012, telling TMZ that she didn’t know Burger King was going to release the unfinished version fo the ad.
In her statement, the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul acknowledged how the ad might’ve made her supporters feel and maintained that she was unaware of what was coming.
Burger King, meanwhile, also issued a statement, saying the ad was pulled due to a contract issue. “We would like to apologize to Mary J. and all of her fans for airing an ad that was not final,” the company said.
Fans Share Their Reactions After Learning Blige Faced Intense Backlash Over BK Ad

Social media users have been reacting to Blige’s interview with Evans, admitting they were confused by the singer’s serious response.
“Not all of us collectively confused as to why there was backlash,” someone wrote, while another said, “Lost friends? over a silly Burger King commercial? Losing them friends was a blessing.”
A third user wrote, “Am I the only one confused about this situation because I have no idea why anybody would have an issue about this,” and a fourth said, “I was today’s years old when I saw this commercial.”
Others attempted to reassure Blige that the commercial wasn’t as harmful as she may have believed. “Everything is not funny, but this, this is funny,” someone posted.
Blige Snapped At A Fan During A Previous Tour

In 2019, Blige made headlines after she was spotted on camera clapping back at a fan who apparently disrespected her during her “Royalty Tour.”
According to The Blast, a heckler allegedly kept telling Blige to “shut the f-ck up” during her set, prompting her to issue a bold statement.
“… and for the person that’s been in here all night saying Mary shut the f–k up, YOU shut the f–k up,” she screamed.

7 Forgotten Psychological Thrillers That Are Perfect From Start to Finish
Few cinematic genres are as popular or versatile as the thriller. Covering everything from horror to comedy and action, the thriller is maliable and enduring, offering audiences stories of mystery and anxiety that will have them on the edge of their seats. However, if there’s one subgenre that stands out from the others, it has to be the psychological thriller.
These movies toy with the audience’s perception, focusing on suspenseful narratives that deal with themes of mental distress, anxiety, paranoia, and distorted realities. They toy with their characters as much as with their audience, resulting in some of the best and most riveting movies in cinema. Movies like Memento and Oldboy are among the best-known examples of the subgenre, but many other great psychological thrillers have gone unnoticed over the years, and this list is our way to do right by them. If you haven’t seen the movies on this list, then do yourself a favor and seek them out; you won’t regret it.
‘Possessed’ (1947)
Joan Crawford received her second Oscar nomination for her work in Curtis Bernhardt‘s Possessed. The film sees Crawford as Louise, the nurse of wealthy Dean Graham (Raymond Massey) and his wife, who develops an unhealthy fixation with the neighbor, David (Van Heflin). When Dean’s wife dies, Louise becomes his new wife, but her enduring obsession with David will lead her down a path of violence.
Few classical actresses played women in various degrees of mental anguish as perfectly as Joan Crawford, and Possessed is one of her finest hours. Sure, the film is highly accentuated to the point of bordering on melodrama — it was made in 1947, after all. However, the film still offers a riveting story about the dangers of obsession and the past’s ability to ruin one’s future if one does not reconcile with it. Besides, Crawford’s work is reason enough to watch.
‘Manhunter’ (1986)
You may or may not know, but Anthony Hopkins wasn’t actually cinema’s first Hannibal Lecter. Five years earlier, Michael Mann adapted Thomas Harris‘ 1981 novel Red Dragon into Manhunter, with William Petersen as Will Graham and Brian Cox as Hannibal Lecktor. The film adapts the novel’s plot, which sees Graham coming out of retirement to catch a serial killer known as the Tooth Fairy. To do so, he must confront Lecktor, who tried to kill him years earlier.
Today, Manhunter has been all but eclipsed by the subsequent success of Jonathan Demme‘s The Silence of the Lambs, the superior adaptation of Harris’ novel. However, Manhunter is still quite a gripping thriller, with a radically different but no less compelling take on Hannibal Lecter. It might not reinvent the wheel or explore as many themes as Demme’s masterpiece, but Mann’s adaptation is as stylish as it is engrossing. The film’s approach to forensic science was also quite refreshing for the time, inspiring countless future thrillers.
‘Green Room’ (2015)
Jeremy Saulnier‘s claim to fame came in 2015 with the horror psychological thriller Green Room. The film focuses on a punk band playing at a remote club in the Pacific Northwest. Their night descends into chaos and horror when they unwittingly witness a murder, finding themselves the targets of Neo-Nazi skinheads. The late Anton Yelchin stars alongside Imogen Poots, Callum Turner, and Patrick Stewart.
A pretty perfect horror movie from A24, Green Room is as wild as its premise makes it sound. It is unapologetically gruesome, hyper-violent, and grimy, making the most of its limited setting and remarkable cast to deliver a story that might lack depth, but it more than makes up for it in sheer thrills. That said, Green Room does have interesting things to say about morality and how it ebbs and flows when one’s life is on the line. Those with weak stomachs are wise to stay away, but all those who love their movies with a hard edge will love this underrated gem from the 2010s.
‘Take Shelter’ (2011)
Oscar nominee Michael Shannon and Oscar winner Jessica Chastain star in Jeff Nichols‘ 2013 psychological disaster thriller Take Shelter. Shannon plays Curtis, a husband and father plagued with apocalyptic visions about a coming storm. As he begins building a shelter to protect his family from the doom, his unexplained and seemingly unreasonable actions begin to strain his relationship with his loving wife, Samantha (Chastain).
A low-key masterpiece of the thriller genre, Take Shelter is as thought-provoking as it is elusive. The film isn’t really concerned with whether Curtis’ visions are actually prophetic or not; instead, the focus is on the psyche and the importance of human connection. Take Shelter is haunting and uneasy, but Shannon’s humane performance and Nichols’ nuanced approach make it a deep examination of duty and paranoia that never sensationalizes Curtis’ struggle. The ambiguous ending might be the best-known part, but the entire movie is rich in food for thought.
‘Strange Darling’ (2024)
Strange Darling stars Willa Fitzgerald and certified scream king Kyle Gallner as a man and a woman who have a one-night stand that soon turns deadly. The plot follows a non-linear structure told across six chapters, each one a piece of a larger puzzle that only starts making sense about halfway through.
Subversive in the best possible way, Strange Darling makes the best out of its twisting narrative, largely thanks to a spectacular and frankly Oscar-worthy performance from Willa Fitzgerald. The film uses our preconceived notions of the psychological thriller to pull a trick on us, and the result is a refreshing game-changer that steps out of the genre’s boundaries. Released only two years ago, Strange Darling was severely underappreciated by both critics and audiences. Today, it continues to amass a small but loyal fanbase, but it still has a long way to go to secure cult classic status.
‘Don’t Look Now’ (1973)
Nicole Roeg‘s Don’t Look Now has become more popular in recent years; that is indeed true. However, it still lacks the recognition of other horrors of the ’70s. Donald Sutherland and Julie Christie star as a married couple recovering from the death of their daughter by traveling to Venice. However, the pair begins dealing with strange and potentially supernatural situations that will push their sanity to the breaking point.
Don’t Look Now is perhaps best known for its ending and the long-standing yet now-debunked rumor that Sutherland and Christie had unsimulated sex on camera during its most famous scene. However, the film is a poignant and genuinely chilling exploration of grief and the inability to move on. The occult themes further support the film’s thesis regarding the inevitability of tragedy, crafting a mood of lingering dread that refuses to let go. Sutherland is particularly affecting here, and his work during the final moments has cemented Don’t Look Now as a classic, albeit an unsung one.
‘Repulsion’ (1965)
When you think of Roman Polanski‘s psychological thrillers, chances are you think of Rosemary’s Baby. However, he actually directed another one three years earlier, Repulsion, which was also his English-language debut. Starring a career-best Catherine Deneuve, the film sees the legendary French actress playing Carol, a young woman with an acute fear of interacting with men. Left alone in her apartment, she begins to experience hallucinations as she descends into mental anguish.
Repulsion is one of the best thrillers of the ’60s, a ruthless and profoundly eerie exploration of sexual repression, identity, and isolation. The film successfully places us in a claustrophobic and slowly escalating situation, often putting us in Carol’s actual perspective to enhance immersion. In its way, Repulsion is a statement on femininity and non-conformity, with Carol choosing violence rather than subjugation and submission. Powered by Deneuve’s outstanding work, Repulsion is a powerful chamber piece that’s hard to shake off.

The Single Line Of Dialogue Star Trek Spent Over 50 Years Explaining
By Chris Snellgrove
| Published

The strength of Star Trek has never been its ambitious special effects or its bevy of exotic aliens. No, the strength of this franchise has always been in its dialogue. Many fans memorize lines like Kirk’s “risk is our business” and turn them into personal mantras, which is no surprise.
These episodes offer such unique insights into the human condition that even a simple line can inspire you to change your life. In the very first Star Trek episode, though, the show’s most popular character had a line of dialogue that has inspired nothing but arguments among fans.

In The Original Series broadcast premiere “The Man Trap,” Spock makes a straightforward statement about his home planet: “Vulcan has no moon.” On paper, it’s a pretty simple statement because nobody really expected a fictional alien planet to have the exact same features as our own.
Unfortunately, since Star Trek: The Animated Series, the franchise has often portrayed Spock’s home planet as having a huge moon that is very visible from the planet below. Audiences have been trying to resolve this discrepancy for over half a century, and an episode of Strange New Worlds quietly made the most popular fan theory into canon.
When Pillow Talk Goes Wrong

When Spock mentions his home planet in “The Man Trap,” he is effectively shutting down some flirtation from Uhura. She playfully tells him to “tell me how your planet Vulcan looks on a lazy evening when the moon is full.” Without missing a beat or taking the bait, Spock tells his fellow officer that “Vulcan has no moon, Miss Uhura.” There was no need to question his assertion until the Star Trek: The Animated Series episode “Yesteryear.” In that episode, a large moon was very obviously visible from the surface of the planet Vulcan in multiple shots.
After this, it became weirdly common for Star Trek films and TV shows to feature a moon and other celestial bodies near Vulcan. The theatrical cut of Star Trek: The Motion Picture, for example, originally portrayed four oversized orbs in Vulcan’s sky. It wasn’t clear if these were meant to be moons or planets, but it eventually became a moot point. When the Director’s Edition of that movie came out on DVD, those objects had been removed, and the night sky (distracting since this was a daytime scene) was replaced with an orange one.
Fly Me To The Moon

The “does Vulcan have a moon?” debate calmed down until Star Trek: Discovery. The episodes “Lethe,” “If Memory Serves,” and “Such Sweet Sorrow” showed celestial bodies that were visible from the surface of the planet Vulcan.
Once again, it wasn’t clear if we were looking at moons, planets, or something else entirely. Moreover, fans once more had to wonder why Spock so confidently declared that Vulcan had no moon when so much cosmic crap is clearly visible from the surface of his planet.

However, veteran Star Trek writer D.C. Fontana provided a possible explanation for this conundrum, which was published in a fanzine way back in 1975. She proposed that Vulcan had a sister planet, T’Khut, that had a co-orbital relationship.
This elegantly justified Spock’s statement that Vulcan has no moon by explaining that what we saw in the sky in “Yesteryear” and later episodes wasn’t a lunar body. Instead, it was T’Khut, which was orbiting closely enough to be visible to the naked eye. While this remained only a fan theory for over half a century, it was eventually canonized by Strange New Worlds, which showed T’Khut orbiting Vulcan on a computer console.

There you have it, Trekkers: a simple throwaway line from Spock in the first episode of Star Trek to ever hit the airwaves ignited decades of fan debates. Everyone wanted to explain this seeming discrepancy, but nobody could top the one offered by franchise scribe D.C. Fontana. Paramount agreed, eventually making her popular theory official canon. As a side effect of all this, there’s now one line of dialogue Star Trek and Star Wars fans can quote for completely different reasons: “that’s no moon!”

‘Creepy’ Clip Of Katy Perry ‘Groping’ Justin Bieber Resurfaces
Katy Perry is facing renewed scrutiny online after older concert and backstage clips resurfaced, sparking debate across social media. The renewed attention comes after actress Ruby Rose publicly accused Katy Perry of misconduct stemming from an alleged 2010 incident.
Katy Perry’s Resurfaced On-Stage Moment With Teen Fan Sparks Debate Online

As the Daily Mail reported, the viral footage, believed to be from a 2012 appearance at Capital FM’s Summertime Ball in London, shows Perry “groping” Justin Bieber, who was 18 at the time. In one moment, Katy Perry appears to place her hand on Justin Bieber’s backside while playfully mouthing “Sorry Selena” toward the camera, a reference to Selena Gomez, who was dating Bieber at the time.
Another resurfaced clip shows Katy Perry interacting with a teenage fan during her set. In the footage, the fan introduces himself as Robert as Perry asks him a series of questions, including, “Are you nervous?” and “Staying in school?” After he responds, she tells him, “That’s good, you’re going to be really, really popular on Monday.”
The moment continues as Perry asks, “This is going to be awkward in front of your father (in the audience). Have you ever been kissed?” After Robert shakes his head no, she leans in to kiss him on the lips while the crowd reacts.
The clip shows the teen appearing hesitant and pulling back, avoiding the kiss. Perry keeps the interaction going, telling him, “Honey, you might be too young to understand this, but when a woman kisses you, you gotta kiss her back”.
Robert then approaches and gives her a quick kiss on the cheek, with Perry playfully joking before wrapping up the moment. She then references her husband at the time, Russell Brand, telling the audience he was there to “surprise me,” before the fan exits the stage.
Backlash Builds As Fans Clash Over Resurfaced Clip

The resurfaced interaction has since become part of the broader online discussion surrounding the singer. Several users blasted Katy Perry, with one writing, “She has always been grabby in the past, probably thinking it was cool and hot. It wasn’t and still isn’t. She’s creepy and gross.”
Another added, “How embarrassing,” while a third declared, “Career ending or it should be!” Some comments took an even harsher tone, with one person writing, “She is sickening and needs to go. This should be the last nail in her coffin. She is abusive,” while another claimed, “Oh, I think everyone would like to see her taken down. Silenced.”
But not everyone agreed with the backlash. A handful of users defended the singer, arguing the moment was being blown out of proportion. “She was just being silly and outrageous. Stop trying to convict her to something she is unlikely to be!” one commenter wrote.
Ruby Rose Speaks Out On Alleged Incident

As The Blast previously reported, Ruby Rose said she was prompted to speak out after seeing a post about Katy Perry attending Justin Bieber’s Coachella set. “Katy Perry sexual assaulted me at spice market nightclub in Melbourne. Who gives a sh-t what she thinks,” Rose claimed.
She alleged that after the incident, she tried to downplay what happened by reframing it as a “funny little drunk story,” saying she didn’t know how else to process it at the time. Rose also claimed that Perry later offered to help her with securing a U.S. visa, which she said factored into her decision not to speak out sooner.
According to Rose, she had previously attempted to hint publicly that Perry was “not a good person,” but alleged those efforts were dismissed and instead led to backlash directed at her.
Perry Denies Ruby Rose Allegations As Investigation Reports Surface

Perry has strongly denied the allegations. “They are not only categorically false, they are dangerous, reckless lies,” a spokesperson for the singer said.
They added, “Ms. Rose has a well-documented history of making serious public allegations on social media against various individuals, claims that have repeatedly been denied by those named.”
Allegations Against Katy Perry Could Still Be Investigated

Katy Perry could still face potential legal scrutiny following the claims made by Ruby Rose. Rose alleges the incident took place in Melbourne in 2010, and under Australian law, there is no statute of limitations for such allegations. That means authorities are not restricted by time if they determine there is sufficient evidence to move forward.
As of now, no charges have been announced, and any potential action would depend on the outcome of an investigation.

How Did Patrick Muldoon Die? Actor’s Sudden Death Explained
Hollywood is shaken after the sudden death of Days of Our Lives and Melrose Place star Patrick Muldoon at age 57.
Muldoon’s manager confirmed to Variety that the actor died on Sunday, April 19. According to TMZ, Muldoon suffered a heart attack.
Muldoon’s sister, Shana Muldoon-Zappa, told the outlet that Muldoon went to take a shower Sunday morning after drinking coffee with his girlfriend, Miriam Rothbart, in their Beverly Hills home.
Rothbart reportedly checked on Muldoon after some time and found him unconscious on the bathroom floor. Paramedics were called to revive Muldoon, but it was too late.
In a statement to Deadline, Muldoon was described as “endlessly generous.”
“With his poetry, his humor, and his unmistakable presence. [Patrick] loved animals and people alike, gave unforgettable hugs, and possessed a rare quality of making others feel safe and seen,” the statement continued. “Stylish, charismatic, and full of life, he embraced each day with a full-tilt, rock ’n’ roll spirit.”
Muldoon got his start on the sitcoms Who’s the Boss? and Saved by the Bell before joining Days of Our Lives as Austin in the 1990s. He left the show in 1995 but returned briefly in 2011. Muldoon also had a recurring role as villain Richard Hart on Melrose Place from 1995 to 1996.
Muldoon previously starred alongside ex-girlfriend Denise Richards and Casper Van Dien in Starship Troopers. He reunited with Richards, 55, on a 2025 episode of Bravo’s Denise Richards & Her Wild Things. Muldoon’s latest film, Dirty Hands, is set to be released later this year.
Days before his death, Muldoon teased his involvement in a future project titled Kockroach, writing via Instagram, “So excited to be a part of this amazing project KOCKROACH directed by Matt Ross starring Chris Hemsworth, Taron Edgerton, Zazzie Beetz And Alec Baldwin. Filming now in Australia 🇦🇺.”
After news broke about Muldoon’s death, several fellow actors paid tribute on social media, including child star Jake Getman.

General Hospital 2-Week Spoilers Apr 20-May 1: Valentin Turns Pure Evil – Ric’s Deep Suspicion Ignites!
General Hospital 2-week spoilers for April 20 – May 1, 2026 expect Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) getting tricky and Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) being suspicious about something.
General Hospital Spoilers Monday, April 20th: Valentin’s Plan
On Monday, April 20th, we’ve got Molly Lansing (Kristen Vaganos) telling Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) that they should talk to Dr. Navarro (Christina Ferraro) before they make plans. Sounds like they’re trying to get on that vacay that they missed out because of Molly’s surgery. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) gets a surprise visit from somebody. He’s actually due two visits. Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) swings by Sonny’s.
I’m sure it’s to discuss Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) wanting to work for Sonny and against the WSB. And Sonny tells somebody on Monday he has a better idea. Could be Alexis, but he’s also talking with Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean Parsons) soon because Kristina Corinthos (Kate Mansi) is at Sonny’s watching Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears) when Ethan shows up there looking for her dad and Kristina spends time catching up with Ethan and he says it’s really good to see Kristina and she tells Ethan that she really missed him. And then Kristina asked Ethan if he’s looking for a job with her dad.
GH Spoilers: Willow Makes Ruthless Move
Something has Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) very determined and as usual it’s about her kids and she is yelling at Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) to keep Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell) who she calls “that” away from their kids or he’ll regret it. And then somebody gives Michael some new information and it could be Jacinda, you know maybe something that Willow said before he arrived or what Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) wants from Jacinda and what he’s offering.
Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is startled and it may be because Valentin tells Carly he snuck over into Nina Reeves‘ (Cynthia Watros) house to meet with her and Valentin says they need to take action against Jack and Nina is perfect to help him out with this. So on Monday he is telling Carly that they need to do this and that she can really help. But I do wonder if Carly is jealous which seems like something she would be at this point.
Also, the plan is for Valentin to give Nina information, very specific information, limited information to feed back to Jack so that he won’t keep bullying Nina and won’t keep threatening Willow. But the question is, will this work? So, Nina wants to hire somebody, and I wonder if it’s Ric so that she can have a legal sounding board on these criminal matters, but know that he can’t tell anybody.
General Hospital Spoilers Tuesday, April 21st: Sonny Takes A Risk
On Tuesday, April 21st, Sonny takes a risk. Could be by hiring Ethan or at least teaming up with him to target Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) is completely thrown. This week, she and Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) have a tense conversation. Could be also with Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) or Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) or even Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr). Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) pops in to see Cullum at General Hospital.
I’m sure Dante has more questions for Cullum about the shooting. And Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) is confronted by Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner). And I wonder if it’s something about Porsche and the baby or the car crash. Ric is skeptical on Tuesday and it might be with Nina if she has hired him.
GH Spoilers Wednesday, April 22nd: Jordan Confides In Curtis
On Wednesday, April 22nd, we’ve got Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) confiding in Curtis. I just wonder if Jordan’s going to keep trying to blame all of this on somebody else. Because let’s be plain whoever was in the other car, Isaiah or Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) or Danny and Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke), Jordan nearly ran head-on into them driving into another lane because she was acting like an idiot teenager.
So, I hope General Hospital isn’t going to indulge this nonsense that she was a victim of anything but her own bad judgment. She and Curtis don’t even know if this other driver saw the wreck and they really can’t prove it. So, it’s crazy for them going after this vehicular homicide, you know, attempted homicide, failure to render aid, whatever it is. They have no idea that that person could see or not.
Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is digging for answers on Wednesday, and I bet it’s back to the who Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is protecting thing. Plus, Emma Scorpio-Drake (Brayden Bruner) gets a surprise. Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) is taking Emma on a romantic trip to Manhattan. They’re going to go see a Broadway show. Britt is worried that somebody she loves is in danger. Maybe she is starting to figure out that Rocco might have shot Cullum. And Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) opens up about her worries. I wonder if she may tell her brother Ethan about the Rocco and Cullum incident, knowing that she can trust him.

General Hospital Spoilers Thursday, April 23rd: May Sweeps Kicks Off
On Thursday, April 23rd, May sweeps kicks off and we’ll see Willow flexing her power. And I wonder if she is going to abuse her congressional power either for herself or for Sidwell like Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) was doing in both ways. And Willow may be doing a bad deed for Sidwell who put her in office or she could be targeting Jacinda or trying somehow to shut down Trina and Kai since they know she shot Drew. Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) has a happy reunion with Ethan. So, them losing Luke’s going to be a big topic as Tracy tells Ethan how much he reminds her of Luke. And I’m sure Ethan should give her another thank you since Tracy saved his life at that auction a few years back.
Plus, Elizabeth goes to visit Drew. He’s blinky blinky blinking, hoping that she could save him. And I actually think Elizabeth is a good choice to figure out what’s going on because she is a medical professional. And it may work because she asks if Drew’s asking for help. Also, Gio and Emma explore obviously during their New York trip. And Ric needs Alexis’s opinion on something and it may be about Willow. Maybe if Nina hired him, he wants to circle back with her to find out since she was Willow’s lawyer with the case over. We’ll see.
GH Spoilers Friday, April 24th: Cassius Offended
Friday, April 24th, Cassius winds up offended. Maybe it’s something with Lulu pushing him aside so she can spend time with Ethan or could be something to do with his bosses Sidwell and Cullum or his sister Britt. Speaking of her, she needs reassurance. So she may get that from Lucas or maybe from Brad, maybe from Josslyn. Felicia gets upsetting news.
And the question is, is it about Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) in France? And somebody is warned by Valentin. So many options. Could be Joss, Carly, Gio, and Emma head to see Disney’s Aladdin on Broadway. And they go backstage hanging out with GH guest star Michael James Scott, who is playing himself. Gio knows him from days when he used to play violin in the orchestra pit in Manhattan.
Week of April 27th-May 1st: First Full Week of May Sweeps on General Hospital
Then the week of April 27th through May 1st, it’s the first full week of May sweeps, and we are going to see Willow using all her considerable efforts to try and get Justine out of Michael’s life. I think she’s going to be ruthless, but if Willow gets hyper-focused on this, Sidwell might slap her down.
He doesn’t need Willow being sloppy the same way Drew was. Ethan is strategizing with Sonny. They’re trading notes on Sidwell and Cullum and probably what happened with Jason. Drew tries hard to give Elizabeth a sign. She may come back and visit him if she feels like something is not quite right.
General Hospital Spoilers: Carly’s Jealousy Shows
And Carly may be really bothered that Valentin recruited Nina. Of course, Valentin was really, really bothered when Carly took Jack to bed. However, I think Carly is still playing a long con on Jack and felt it was necessary. I think she was also using that as a way to push Valentin back because let’s face it, Carly is falling for Valentin. And I think he is also falling for her.
Alexis remains determined to keep Danny out of the mob. That’s why she goes to see Sonny in the first week of these two weeks. And I think she’s going to be keeping a really close eye, maybe helicoptering, which just could push Danny further towards Sonny or anybody else who will let him in.
Michael looks for a way to prove that Willow shot Drew. Nina is playing Jack and feeding him this fake info. And in May, by the way, we’re going to see Michael James Scott in Port Charles doing Friend Like Me from Aladdin in a special performance at The Savoy.
