Taylor Swift Knicks Controversy Ends With Apology
Taylor Swift‘s return to Madison Square Garden should have been remembered solely for an unforgettable Knicks comeback.
Instead, the singer found herself at the center of another online debate after ESPN analyst Monica McNutt questioned her loyalty to the team.
The comments quickly spread across social media, prompting Swift fans to dig into the singer’s long history with the franchise and eventually leading McNutt to publicly walk back her remarks.
The controversy began before the New York Knicks staged one of the most dramatic comebacks in NBA Finals history.
Swift was sitting courtside at Madison Square Garden, wearing custom Knicks-themed attire and enjoying the atmosphere as fans packed the arena. During a broadcast segment, fellow analyst Tyler Murray mentioned that he wanted to snap a photo of the pop superstar for his wife.
That prompted Monica McNutt to question Swift’s connection to the team, reportedly stating that the singer was not a Knicks fan and suggesting she leave Madison Square Garden.
The comments immediately gained traction online, with Swift’s supporters pushing back and sharing evidence of the singer’s long-standing ties to the franchise.
As the criticism grew, McNutt addressed the situation and acknowledged that she had gotten it wrong.
Monica McNutt Addresses The Backlash
Responding to the uproar, McNutt offered a lengthy explanation while admitting she had overlooked important details about Swift’s basketball history.
“Swifties, I appreciate your passion,” McNutt said with a smirk while chatting with TMZ Sports.
She continued, “I said what I said, and here’s the deal: If I’m wrong, I am wrong, apparently, because she’s got an OG Amar’e Stoudemire jersey. I misspoke. I did not know. But here’s the deal, context, I literally just did a piece on celebrity row. I’ve been with this organization for five years. I know these folks… We just saw her in Cleveland with her fiancé [Travis Kelce]. Obviously, Travis supports the Cavs. She didn’t have any Knicks paraphernalia, so I did not know of her Knicks loyalty. But shoutout, T-Swift. We can be united in orange and blue, like, it’s fine.”
After learning more about Swift’s connection to the team, McNutt acknowledged that the evidence stretched back years.
“There are pictures of the Amar’e Stoudemire era, that’s where the origin story is,” McNutt continued. “Shout out to her because that means she’s been in the trenches. I had just not seen her.”
Despite the social media reaction, McNutt insisted the controversy felt much larger online than it did inside the arena.
“Nobody cared about this at all,” McNutt said. “I know it was a big deal on the internet, but I was too busy enjoying the actual game.”
Taylor Swift’s Long History With The Knicks
While some casual observers may have questioned Swift’s loyalty, longtime followers quickly pointed to a history that dates back more than a decade.
The singer has deep ties to New York and Madison Square Garden. She has performed at the venue multiple times, with her earliest appearance coming during a Kids Talent Competition when she was just a young teenager.
Swift’s connection to the Knicks became more visible in 2014. Around the release of her album “1989,” she attended Knicks games at Madison Square Garden and was photographed courtside on several occasions.
She was also seen wearing a No. 13 Knicks jersey alongside Carmelo Anthony and Amar’e Stoudemire. According to past interviews, Stoudemire played a major role in introducing her to the team after they became friends through social circles in New York.
Fans also resurfaced photos from Knicks practices, including a memorable moment when Stoudemire helped lift Swift toward the basket for a dunk attempt.
Those images quickly circulated again once McNutt’s comments went viral.
Another Taylor Swift Sports Debate Resurfaces
The Knicks controversy arrived only weeks after Swift became part of another sports-related discussion.
In May, she attended the Eastern Conference Finals in Cleveland alongside fiancé Travis Kelce. Some New York supporters questioned why she was cheering from the Cavaliers’ home arena.
Kelce later dismissed any suggestion that he was trying to convert her allegiance, explaining it was simply a “fun date night” rather than an effort to “persuade Taylor into being a Cleveland sports fan.”
That game generated another online dispute when broadcasters acknowledged the couple on the Jumbotron without initially referring to Swift by name.
Mike Breen told viewers, “Travis Kelce and his fiancée, here at the game.”
Richard Jefferson followed with, “Travis and his girlfriend are in the building; that’s always great to see.”
Many Swift fans objected to the descriptions, arguing that one of the world’s biggest stars should not have been introduced only through her relationship.
A Night That Ended With A Different Headline
Although the online debate briefly overshadowed Travis Swift’s appearance, neither she nor Travis Kelce publicly responded to the criticism or Monica McNutt’s subsequent apology.
Instead, the singer appeared focused on enjoying the game and spending time with friends, including Este and Alana Haim, who joined her for the evening.
Swift even leaned into the New York theme with a custom “Stevie Knicks” shirt, a nod to longtime friend Stevie Nicks. Her companions also joined the fun with Knicks-inspired outfits.
In the end, the controversy faded as attention shifted back to the court. The Knicks’ remarkable comeback and OG Anunoby’s late heroics became the lasting story of the night.
Still, for a few hours, a debate over Taylor Swift’s basketball loyalty proved once again that almost anything involving the singer can become a headline.

What Is Digital Eye Strain? Experts Reveal Common Symptoms, Causes
Digital eye strain is the catch-all term for the burning, blurring and aching that hits after hours on a laptop or phone, and an estimated 60 million people worldwide deal with it. Here is what causes the condition, what the symptoms feel like and how doctors recommend treating it.
What Are the Symptoms of Digital Eye Strain?
The most common symptoms of digital eye strain include blurry vision, watery eyes, dry eyes and tired eyes, according to Cleveland Clinic.
Other frequent complaints from people with computer vision syndrome are red eyes, a foreign body sensation, sensitivity to light and double vision. Around 60 million people worldwide are estimated to have CVS, and one million new cases are reported annually, according to a study published in BMC Public Health. The symptoms also extend beyond your eyes. A 2022 review in the European Journal of Ophthalmology noted that “extraocular symptoms include musculoskeletal symptoms which can result in inconvenience in daily routine activities. These may include body discomfort like headache, neck or shoulder pain, and back pain.”
What Causes Computer Vision Syndrome From Screen Use?
Computer vision syndrome develops when you use digital devices for several hours without taking a break, according to Cleveland Clinic. Computers, tablets, e-readers and smartphones can all trigger it.
Warby Parker lists three main culprits. People unconsciously blink less often when viewing a digital device, they look at screens with glare or improper lighting and they hold devices too close to their face. Each of those habits forces your eyes to work harder than they would during normal vision tasks, which is why a long workday in front of a monitor often ends with headaches, blurred sight and that gritty, tired feeling.
How Can You Prevent Digital Eye Strain at Your Desk?
The most effective fix is adjusting your workspace, and the American Optometric Association says screen positioning matters most.
“Most people find it more comfortable to view a computer when the eyes are looking downward. Optimally, the computer screen should be 15 to 20 degrees below eye level (about 4 or 5 inches) as measured from the center of the screen and 20 to 28 inches from the eyes,” the association notes.
The group also recommends positioning the screen to avoid glare from overhead lighting or windows, using blinds or drapes and replacing desk lamp bulbs with lower-wattage options. Keeping your monitor about an arm’s length away and at a neutral angle reduces neck and back strain too. Cedars-Sinai also advises seeing your eye care provider at least once a year for a checkup if you wear corrective lenses.
How Is Digital Eye Strain Treated by Doctors?
For most people, symptoms are temporary and fade once computer work stops, according to the American Diabetes Association. Anyone with lingering discomfort should schedule a comprehensive eye exam.
Cleveland Clinic recommends making a conscious effort to blink more often, since blinking encourages tears that moisten your eyes. Providers may also suggest over-the-counter or prescription eye drops. The American Diabetes Association notes that “90 percent of patients do not talk with their eye care provider about computer vision syndrome symptoms,” so raising the issue at your next appointment is a simple but underused step. If your eyes stay red, blurry or painful for days at a time, see a professional rather than waiting it out.
Contact lens users often find dry eye to be an ongoing problem when they spend long stretches in front of digital devices, according to the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
The academy suggests giving your eyes a break by wearing glasses instead on heavy computer days, never sleeping in your contacts even if they are labeled “extended wear” and sticking to good cleaning practices to avoid irritation. Some symptoms warrant professional attention rather than another round of drops. If your eyes are consistently red, blurry or watery, or if they become sensitive to light or painful, see your ophthalmologist. Pairing those habits with the workspace adjustments recommended by the American Optometric Association can keep digital eye strain from turning into a daily nuisance.

Cassie Seeks Court Order Against Former Male Escort (UPDATE)
Clayton Howard, one of the male escorts involved in Cassie and Diddy’s freak-offs, isn’t backing down after previously filing a lawsuit against the pair. Cassie isn’t letting up either, though; she’s now accusing Howard of harassment, claiming he made threats towards her on social media.
RELATED: UPDATE: Cassie Reportedly Reveals She’s Moved Out Of United States As She Responds To Lawsuit Filed Against Her By Male Escort
Cassie Accuses Former Male Escort Of Making Threats
According to TMZ, Cassie’s lawyers sent a letter on Thursday, June 11, to help respond to Clayton Howard’s lawsuit against her. TMZ obtained the note, which reportedly says Clayton posted a video on social media where he allegedly said, “B***h, I’m going to burn you out with fire. You want to play stupid games, you can win stupid prizes.”
The singer’s legal team also claims Clayton called her a “wh**e” on social media, which they argue amounts to victim-blaming language. They further allege that Clayton has carried out a public campaign to harass and intimidate her. Although Cassie now reportedly lives outside the United States, she has asked the court to schedule a hearing where she plans to seek an order that would prohibit Clayton from publicly attacking her.
Here’s What Clayton Previously Said About Cassie
Clayton Howard previously filed a lawsuit against Diddy and Cassie, formerly known as Cassandra Ventura. In July 2025, Howard filed a bombshell complaint claiming he contracted an STD from Ventura. He also alleged that he impregnated her, which led her to get an abortion.
“Ventura was not merely a victim forced into sexual encounters with male escorts, but rather an active and engaged participant who willingly manipulated and exploited others, including Plaintiff, to satisfy the sexually depraved desires of Defendant Combs and herself,” Clayton Howard reportedly stated in his lawsuit.
Additionally, Howard accused Ventura of manipulating him into taking drugs and engaging in unprotected sex. However, TMZ’s latest report states that Howard previously reached out to Cassie’s husband, Alex Fine over previous years. Per Cassie’s legal, he allegedly expressed happiness that she was finally getting justice amid Diddy’s explosive trial.
However, Howard says he “never stated [Cassie] was an innocent victim.” Instead, he believes she was a victim of Diddy’s, but her actions still harmed him.
Ventura Responds To Male Escort’s Lawsuit While Giving Update On Her Whereabouts
Per TMZ’s exclusive report from June 2, Cassie filed a declaration on May 1, 2026, in response to the lawsuit Clayton Howard filed against her and Diddy. In the filing, she reportedly stated that she now lives outside of the United States.“I do not intend to move back to the United States. I am a citizen of the United States […] I am not a resident of the State of California,” Ventura reportedly wrote.
However, Cassie also noted that she can attend court proceedings in New York since her attorneys are based there. While she confirmed that she resides abroad, she did not disclose her current location in the declaration.

Michael Surpasses Bohemian Rhapsody To Become The Highest-Grossing Music Biopic Of All Time : Coastal House Media
The King of Pop has reclaimed the crown.
After months of dominating the global box office, Michael has officially surpassed Bohemian Rhapsody to become the highest-grossing music biopic ever released. The milestone marks a historic achievement for the film and adds another chapter to what has already been one of the biggest theatrical success stories of 2026.
Directed by Antoine Fuqua and starring Jaafar Jackson as his legendary uncle, Michael has captivated audiences around the world since its release. The film opened to record-breaking numbers and has continued to demonstrate impressive staying power throughout its theatrical run, ultimately pushing past the worldwide total achieved by Bohemian Rhapsody.
Released in 2018, Bohemian Rhapsody became a global phenomenon, earning more than $900 million worldwide while introducing a new generation of fans to the music of Queen. The film’s remarkable success helped reignite interest in music biopics across Hollywood and established a box office benchmark that many believed would stand for years.
Eight years later, Michael has managed to do what no other music biopic could.
A Global Event For Audiences
Part of the film’s success can be attributed to the enduring popularity of Michael Jackson himself. Widely regarded as one of the most influential entertainers in history, Jackson’s music continues to resonate across multiple generations and international markets.
That global appeal translated directly into ticket sales. From North America to Europe, Asia, and Latin America, audiences turned out in massive numbers to experience Jackson’s story on the big screen. The film’s combination of iconic musical performances, elaborate production design, and emotional storytelling helped create an event that appealed to both longtime fans and newcomers alike.
While critical reactions were more mixed, audience enthusiasm remained consistently strong throughout the film’s run. Positive word-of-mouth helped sustain momentum well beyond opening weekend, allowing Michael to maintain impressive box office legs as it climbed toward the record.

The Latest Win For Music Biopics
The success of Michael also reinforces the continued popularity of music biopics in Hollywood. Over the past decade, films such as Bohemian Rhapsody, Rocketman, Elvis, and A Complete Unknown have demonstrated that audiences remain eager to learn more about the artists behind some of the world’s most beloved songs.
However, Michael has now established a new standard for the genre.
Its record-breaking performance proves that compelling stories centered around legendary musicians can still attract massive theatrical audiences in an era increasingly dominated by franchises, superheroes, and established intellectual properties.
What’s Next?
With its newest box office milestone secured, Michael has cemented its place in cinematic history. Surpassing Bohemian Rhapsody is more than just another record—it represents a defining moment for both the film and the music biopic genre as a whole.
Whether the record stands for years or eventually falls to another musical icon’s story remains to be seen. For now, however, Michael sits alone at the top of the mountain as the highest-grossing music biopic ever released.
And judging by the film’s incredible run so far, that achievement feels like a fitting tribute to one of the most successful entertainers the world has ever known.

Ben Affleck’s Ex-Wife Wants Him To ‘Take A Break From Dating’
Jennifer Garner is reportedly concerned about her ex-husband Ben Affleck as he navigates single life following his divorce from Jennifer Lopez.
According to a new report, Garner feels the actor should take a break and not rush into any new relationship.
This comes after Ben Affleck made a striking move to completely cut ties with Jennifer Lopez by gifting the singer his share of their marital home, which they have been struggling to sell.

Insiders close to Garner have revealed her concern over her ex-husband’s love life after his marriage to Lopez ended in divorce.
Garner reportedly believes Affleck should be focused on taking care of himself as he seems “happier” in his current single state.
“Jen thinks it might actually be good for Ben to take a break from dating for a while. She cares about him a lot and only wants what’s best for him at the end of the day,” a source said, per Page Six.
“From her perspective, he’s happier than he’s been in a long time, and she feels like it could be healthy for him to keep putting that energy into himself, his work, and his family instead of jumping into a relationship,” the source added.
Despite her concerns, the source noted that Garner has no interest in influencing her ex-husband’s love life and respects whatever decision he ultimately makes when it comes to romantic relationships.
“That said, she trusts Ben to make his own decisions and supports him either way,” the insider stated.
Ben Affleck Isn’t ‘Ruling Out Dating’ As Friends Offer To Set Him Up With A New Partner

While Garner might want Affleck to relax and focus more on himself, a second source told the news outlet that the “Good Will Hunting” star is open to returning to the dating scene.
Affleck also reportedly has friends who are looking to play matchmaker for him following his publicized split from Lopez.
“Ben isn’t ruling out dating and would be open to putting himself out there again,” the source noted.
They continued, “He has friends who have offered to set him up, but he’s also incredibly busy right now and isn’t sure he has the time for a serious, committed relationship.”
Away from relationships, the source shared that Affleck’s primary focus “at the moment” is his family and work-related projects, adding that “that’s where most of his energy is going.”
Jennifer Garner And Ben Affleck Have A Great Co-Parenting Relationship

Garner’s concern for Affleck’s love life is no surprise, as the former couple has a great co-parenting relationship despite their divorce.
The duo are regularly seen together on outings with their children, Violet, 20, Seraphina (Finn), 17, and Sam, 14, and even faced now-dispelled rumors that they were considering dating again after Affleck’s split from Lopez.
Despite how well they work together as co-parents, Garner recently admitted that there were some downsides to their kids having divorced parents.
While appearing on Bustle’s “One Nightstand” YouTube series, she opened up about raising her kids alongside Affleck.
“I think that I do a bit of both,” Garner stated. “And I think my kids’ dad does too. Especially when your kids grow up in two separate households, I become mom and dad, and he becomes dad and mom.”
“You kind of can’t help it, right?” she continued. “Because you don’t have the benefit of both sides of the yin and yang being in the same house.”
“There’s a little bit of loss in that, but there’s also something gained in that,” the actress added. “You also just learn. It’s made me let go and not focus so much on bringing up.”
Ben Affleck Gifted Jennifer Lopez His Share Of Their Marital Home

While Affleck seems to love spending time with his ex-wife Garner, the actor is reportedly doing everything he can to cut ties with his other ex-spouse, Lopez.
Although it has been over a year since the former couple settled their divorce, Affleck and Lopez were still linked due to their marital Beverly Hills mansion, for which they have been struggling to find a buyer.
With the house being the only property left for them to split in their divorce, the “Gone Girl” star made the surprising move to gift his share of the mansion to Lopez, making her the sole owner.
This left many shocked, with insiders claiming it was Affleck’s way of severing ties with the singer and moving on from their failed marriage.
A source also told Star Magazine that the move has left Lopez reconsidering their separation as she “can’t help but see it as proof he’s the good guy she fell in love with, and she’s back to hoping that somehow, they might be able to work it out.”
Ben Affleck And Jennifer Lopez’s Kids Remain Close

Despite their parents’ split, sources claim Affleck and Lopez’s kids have no plans to stop hanging out, with the actor’s son, Sam, recently supporting his former step-mom’s child, Emme, at their high school graduation.
According to a report, Affleck’s three kids, Violet, Seraphina, and Sam, and Lopez’s twins, Max and Emme, made a “pact” to remain in each other’s lives no matter what happens after the divorce.
“They hang out all the time and are even closer now than they were when their folks were still together,” an insider said. “Seeing how maturely their kids have behaved has been a real wake-up call for Ben, Jen, and J.Lo. That’s definitely rubbed off in terms of how they all interact with each other.”

Smashing Pumpkins’ Billy Corgan Talks Having 3rd Baby at 58
Billy Corgan is still soaking up becoming a father of three in his late 50s.
“I’m 59, so there’s a bit of an age gap there,” the Smashing Pumpkins frontman exclusively told Us Weekly on the red carpet at the 2026 Songwriters Hall of Fame induction ceremony in New York City on Thursday, June 11.
Corgan and his wife, Chloe Mendel Corgan, welcomed their first child, son Augustus, in November 2015 when the “1979” singer was 48. Their daughter Philomena arrived in October 2018 followed by another baby girl, Juno, in March 2025 when Corgan was 58.
“She’s a titanic force,” he told Us of his 14-month-old daughter. “We’re very excited. She’s just started talking.”

The musician joked that all three of his kids “have the Corgan insanity running through” them.
“Watching it emerge in real time is kind of like, ‘Oh, wow, OK. Now I understand why people have always had a problem with me!’” he added.
Corgan was infamously one of the most outspoken and mercurial rock stars of the 1990s, but he believes fatherhood has changed him for the better.
“I appreciate my life and music so much more since I’ve been a father because I have to really think hard,” he explained to Us. “‘OK, if I’m going to go away from my family, why am I going away?’ And I really celebrate my time in music now, where before when my life was only about music, it kind of drove me crazy because it was too obsessive. It’s like being too focused on something. It’s not helpful.”

Corgan attended Thursday’s Songwriters Hall of Fame event to perform a tribute to Kiss alongside Goo Goo Dolls frontman John Rzeznik. In addition to Kiss members Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley, this year’s inductees included Taylor Swift, Kenny Loggins, Alanis Morissette and Christopher “Tricky” Stewart.
“I think [Swift] is a master with her lyrics and her melodies,” Rzeznik, 60, told Us on the red carpet. “Every single song she writes sounds like a hit — and the ones that aren’t hits sound like they could be. If they were in anybody else’s catalog, they would be hits.”
During her emotional acceptance speech, Swift — who at 36 became the youngest woman to be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame — reflected on her journey in the industry.
“If I look back at my entire 23-year career in music,” she said, “the ups and downs, the industry battles, the trials and tribulations, the tears and the cheers and the dogpiling of doubt, the criticism, both fair and unfair, the complete loss of privacy, the world tours and the ego wars and the twists of fate, the absolute magical chaos of this path that I chose when I was too young to remember it ever being a choice at all, songwriting was the easiest thing I ever did.”

2 Months Ago, Disney+ Released Its Most Controversial Feature Yet
Disney+ has officially entered the short-form video game. After first teasing the feature during its CES Tech & Data Showcase earlier this year, Disney has now rolled out “Verts,” a TikTok-style vertical video feed designed to help subscribers discover content through swipeable clips on mobile devices.
Available directly within the Disney+ app, the feature allows users to scroll through memorable scenes and moments from movies and television shows, save titles to their Watchlist, share recommendations with friends, or jump directly into the full movie or episode when something catches their attention. Disney describes Verts as a “try-before-you-stream” experience that transforms browsing into a more interactive discovery tool. Rather than endlessly scrolling through rows of thumbnails, subscribers can swipe through bite-sized clips from across the Disney+ library to find their next watch.
The feature is currently exclusive to mobile devices and can be accessed through a dedicated Verts icon in the app’s navigation bar. Disney says the experience was specifically designed for on-the-go viewing, whether users are killing time during a commute, waiting in line, or simply looking for something new to watch before bed. Bundle subscribers will also see content from Hulu on Disney+ mixed into the feed, giving users an even broader selection of clips to browse. According to Disney, Verts currently focuses on showcasing memorable scenes from existing movies and series, though the company has indicated the experience will continue evolving with additional content formats in the future.
The launch isn’t happening in a vacuum. Verts represents another step in Disney’s growing push toward creator-driven and short-form content, areas that have traditionally been dominated by platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. The timing is particularly notable given Disney’s broader corporate direction. New Disney CEO Josh D’Amaro has made it clear that artificial intelligence will play a major role in the company’s future, building on initiatives already underway across Disney’s streaming, advertising, and consumer-facing products. While Disney executives have emphasized that AI is intended to enhance — not replace — human creativity, the company appears increasingly willing to embrace emerging technologies as it competes for audience attention in a rapidly evolving media landscape.
Disney+ Continues to Expand What “Streaming” Looks Like
In recent years, Disney+ has quietly expanded its creator offerings through initiatives like the Creators Collection, which features family-friendly content from digital creators and production partners. Popular online personalities and brands have increasingly found a home on the service, with content ranging from educational programming and toy-focused videos to trick-shot entertainment and viral children’s programming like Gracie’s Corner.
Disney has also signaled broader ambitions in the user-generated content space. Alongside Verts, the company has been developing generative AI tools that could eventually allow subscribers to create and interact with their own Disney-inspired stories and experiences, further blurring the line between traditional streaming and participatory entertainment.
For Disney, the goal is clear: meet audiences where they already spend their time. While the company insists Verts is simply a discovery tool designed to help subscribers navigate its massive content library, the move also reflects a broader industry reality. Viewers, particularly younger audiences, increasingly consume entertainment in short-form, mobile-first formats before deciding what deserves their full attention.
Whether subscribers embrace the feature or see it as another sign that every platform is becoming a social media app remains to be seen. What is certain is that Disney+ no longer looks quite like the streaming service it launched as in 2019.

Blueface Leaves The Internet Stunned W/ Jaidyn Alexis Comment

Blueface’s Livestream Comment Raises Eyebrows
Recently, Blueface livestreamed a family outing with Jaidyn Alexis and their two children, Javaughn Porter and Journey Porter, aka Pinkface. The crew appeared to be on their way to Blue’s seafood spot, King of Crabs, as later clips that LiveBitez shared show them hanging out inside the restaurant. But while they rode in the car, Pinkface asked Blue if he planned on getting Jaidyn flowers. Blue quickly answered that he would — but only when she dies. “Yeah, I’ll get mommy some flowers […] When she dies.” Blue said while cracking up, “Bring it to her funeral.”
Jaidyn clearly wasn’t feeling his response and immediately checked him, saying, “Why would you say that? Why would you f*****g say that?”
Pinkface then added, “You said you wanted flowers, mommy.” Jaidyn didn’t deny wanting flowers, but she made it clear that she would let somebody else buy them for her. “I do want flowers, but I’ll have my other friend give it to me.” Jaidyn continued, “It’s so many to pick from.”
In another clip, Blue even threw a little shade at Pinkface’s drawing. He told her he didn’t like what she made for him and said he knows she can do better. “No, it’s actually very terrible. It’s the worse picture I’ve ever seen. I think you can do better.”

Chrisean Rock Alleges Blue Only Stuck Around Her Son For ONE Reason
Meanwhile, the internet didn’t only have its eyes on Blue, Jaidyn, and Journey. Chrisean Rock also hopped on her own livestream and accused Blue of clout chasing, saying he only came around her son, Chrisean Jesus, so he wouldn’t look like a deadbeat. However, Rock claims she told him that there were still ways to support her son without being physically present.
Roomies, if you recall, Blue has repeatedly denied being Chrisean Jr.’s father and claims Rock’s late ex, Ronny Doe, is his alleged biological dad. During an interview with Jason Lee in May, Blue doubled down on those claims and said he and Rock “played along” with the narrative that he is Chrisean Jr.’s father.

Jake Johnson’s Return to TV in New ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ Dupe Arrives in 7 Months
Everything’s been coming up Jake Johnson ever since his breakout role in New Girl ended in 2018. After appearing in everything from the Spider-Verse movies to Jurassic World, the ill-fated Mummy reboot starring Tom Cruise, and his directorial debut comedy Self-Reliance, he’s in the middle of perhaps his busiest year to date. He’s been to SXSW for his latest Joe Swanberg team-up, The Sun Never Sets, joined comedian Gareth Reynolds‘ big starring moment in the mockumentary Give It Up, and has been shining as Tatiana Maslany‘s ex-husband Karl on Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed. Later this year, he’s also set to take the pickleball court with Mary Steenburgen in Apple TV’s The Dink and venture into the Wildwood for Laika’s much-anticipated stop-motion return.
However, one of his upcoming projects getting the most buzz is his return to network television. NBC picked up a few pilots for the 2026-27 television season that received high marks behind the scenes, and among them was Sunset P.I., a new half-hour, single-camera sitcom crime procedural pairing Johnson with another beloved star in Keith David. According to the longline, the series “continues the proud tradition of Los Angeles private eyes that began with Philip Marlowe and will end with this show,” casting Johnson as a beleaguered LA-based detective named Mickey. Smart yet cynical, he started as an LAPD officer until his life came crashing down around him a few years ago, landing him at the agency of the hard-nosed Julius Royal (David). On top of that, it has a fitting and very talented comedic duo at the helm in Brooklyn Nine-Nine co-creator Dan Goor and executive producer Luke Del Tredici.
Beyond its leading duo and creators, Sunset P.I. has a lot going for it. The Naked Gun director Akiva Schaffer is taking the reins for the pilot, adding even more comedic creative firepower. The rest of the cast is also stacked with talent, including Langston Kerman as Julius’ beloved detective son, Justin, Jane Levy as a sharp investigative journalist named Faye, and, in what looks to be a breakout role, newcomer Mary Shalaby as Raya, the office’s disinterested receptionist. When describing the series to Collider’s Perri Nemiroff back in March, Johnson gave the impression that it’ll be a sort of homage to and spin on classic detective fare, in addition to a hilarious ride that captures a similar energy to Brooklyn Nine-Nine. “It’s a workplace comedy set in the world of P.I.s, so it’s going to be a new way of looking at the P.I. genre, but we’re going to still have great guest stars coming in,” he said. “But it’s really going to be about the office.” As of now, there are officially seven months until its premiere, as NBC’s fall schedule has the series locked in for February.
‘Sunset P.I.’ Is Part of a Strong Crop of New NBC Series
While Sunset P.I. was viewed internally as potentially the strongest series NBC picked up for the upcoming season, it was a productive round of orders for the network. Also gaining a ton of buzz was the much-anticipated Rockford Files reboot, starring David Boreanaz as Jim Rockford, which will debut just one month earlier in January. This fall, meanwhile, will welcome former 9-1-1 lead Peter Krause back to network television as part of Line of Fire, a new drama airing on Mondays at 10 p.m. starting in December, following a family working across all branches of law enforcement who find themselves at the heart of a deadly conspiracy. Rounding out the bunch is the sitcom Newlyweds, starring Téa Leoni and Tim Daly, which will give Happy’s Place a comedy partner at 8:30 p.m. on Fridays.
Sunset P.I. debuts on NBC in February. Stay tuned here at Collider for more on the new comedy as its premiere nears.

More On Ari Fletcher’s Recent Words About Jayda Cheaves

In turn, a user replied, “Girl literally nobody is worried about you lmaoo Jayda been showed us your P*SSYYYY.”
Fletcher apparently peeped the reply and stated that Cheaves never “showed” her anything.
To note, Ari Fletcher’s comment arrives on the heels of Jayda Cheaves alleging Fletcher was previously involved with Lil Baby, the father of her son.

8 TV Sitcom Endings That Are Genuine Masterpieces
Any beloved sitcom is defined by various elements: strong characters, relatable dialogue, and consistent humor. But ending such a show within this genre takes something greater. It can be a challenge to translate situational comedy into a memorable conclusion. It’s meant to wrap up a series that, traditionally, runs for many seasons while providing fan service to viewers who have remained loyal all these years.
Although some sitcoms fail to deliver, countless others have earned legacy status for doing just that. Whether marked by more profound emotional sentiment (The Good Place) or by nostalgia through callbacks to earlier seasons (New Girl), these sitcoms did just that. From Parks and Recreation to The Mary Tyler Moore Show, these sitcom endings can truly be considered masterpieces.
‘The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’ (1990–1996)
Season 6, Episodes 23 and 24 “I, Done”
Will’s (Will Smith) life may have turned upside down, but by the end of the series, he’s proven to find his place in this once-confusing and foreign world of Bel-Air. While the Banks family prepares to move to the East Coast, Will stays behind to finish college. Will is perhaps one of the greatest examples of character development, infusing deeper themes with the show’s signature humor.
Many sitcoms have done it before. The empty home at the end of a series. It’s a plot device used to signify change. But there is something about The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air that makes this that much more emotional. The Banks’ Bel-Air mansion served as a character itself, a foil to Will’s upbringing in Philadelphia. So, as his cousin’s family prepares to leave for good, he — and the home — must move on, too.
‘The Good Place’ (2016–2020)
Season 4, Episodes 13 and 14 “Whenever You’re Ready”
Each character received an ending appropriate for them; a welcome change from Season 1, as Eleanor (Kristen Bell), Chidi (William Jackson Harper), Tahani (Jameela Jamil), and Jason (Manny Jacinto) endure a realm intended to do just the opposite. The Good Place placed these recently deceased characters in an illusion of heaven, or, as the series refers to it, “The Good Place.” While the realization that they were not actually there — presenting one of the greatest TV plot twists of all time — the finale rectifies this.
The fantasy series was applauded for its innovative depiction of the afterlife. That is, the great question of what happens when we die. And with the title “Whenever You’re Ready,” it’s apparent that this episode would provide a reckoning of sorts. The final moments of existence before their souls depart into some unknown place beyond their metaphysical beings. While The Good Place explored life and death through various theological and philosophical lenses, their moving on through a final door resembled the Buddhist concept of nirvana. It’s a dramatic exploration of humanity infused with consistently clever humor.
‘New Girl’ (2011–2018)
Season 7, Episode 8 “Engram Pattersky”
Yes, everyone must leave due to an unexpected eviction notice (that turns out to be fake). But perhaps it’s time for a change. “Engram Pattersky” takes audiences into the near future as they enter the next stage of adulthood — with families of their own. But it also serves fans as they box up their apartment and prepare to leave for the final time, with a montage of their best moments throughout the series. One final game of True American. Boxing up not just possessions, but memories associated with them. And longstanding secrets are revealed — ahem, Winston (Lamorne Morris).
New Girl begins when Jess (Zooey Deschanel) is desperate to find somewhere to live, ending up in a loft with three guys and a lot of chaos. Over time, the roommates create strong bonds and even form relationships, as is standard for shows about friend groups in their 20s and 30s. With that, these shows present a harsh truth: all things must come to an end as they eventually enter the next stage of their lives.
‘Cheers’ (1982–1993)
Season 11, Episodes 26, 27, and 28 “One for the Road”
Will Sam (Ted Danson) choose his former love or the bar? One of Sam’s greatest quotes appears in this episode as he tells a potential patron, “Sorry, we’re closed.” This simple line says so much for Sam and the show itself. While Sam ultimately decides to keep the bar, it signifies a change in his relationship to it. It reveals truths about his motivation; this is his home, rather than his connection with Diane (Shelley Long).
Cheers was consistently praised for its ensemble of characters that worked so well together. Naturally, the same could be said for its finale. “One for the Road” garnered 80.4 million viewers across the United States, a record second only to M*A*S*H a few years prior. A major draw was the emotional return of Diane, who departed the series in Season 5 despite being the main character until then. Cheers‘ finale can be summed up in one word: closure.
QUIZ
‘The Mary Tyler Moore Show’ (1970–1977)
Season 7, Episode 24 “The Last Show”
“The Last Show” is considered to be one of the greatest TV episodes of all time, and for good reason. The Mary Tyler Moore Show ended on a bittersweet note after seven seasons of laughs and harsh truths. But by Season 7, it’s now the late 1970s, and times have changed. For the team at WJM-TV, this meant mass layoffs due to a takeover, leaving each character’s fate uncertain. Perhaps one of the most memorable moments of the episode comes at the end, when the colleagues embrace in a group hug, symbolizing how strong their bonds are and how much they resemble a family.
Fans spent seven years following the titular Mary Tyler Moore, who, against the period’s preconceptions, portrayed a single working woman in her 30s. She favored a career and dated around rather than forming a nuclear family. This in itself earned the series legacy status. In many ways, The Mary Tyler Moore Show also helped launch and inspire future sitcoms. This makes the finale — aptly titled “The Last Show” all the more relevant. The Mary Tyler Moore Show was truly one of a kind, not just within the sitcom genre, but TV as a whole.
‘Parks and Recreation’ (2009–2015)
Season 7, Episodes 12 and 13 “One Last Ride”
Parks and Recreation offered a two-part season finale to say goodbye to our favorite employees of the Pawnee Parks Department. Each character receives a satisfying ending that highlights their personal arcs. Leslie (Amy Poehler) is now Indiana’s Governor. April (Aubrey Plaza) and Andy (Chris Pratt) start a family. Tom (Aziz Ansari) is not just a novelist but also a coach who draws on his own failures. And so much more. While everyone ultimately parts ways, these lowly government workers remain a family.
That makes it all the more emotional when it comes to saying goodbye. Sitcoms often include flash-forwards in their finales. That is, taking viewers into the future to see where each character ends up. Another thing that sitcoms do is clever callbacks to earlier storylines, often as a source of nostalgia. Amongst saying goodbye, Parks and Recreation employs these devices to create a memorable and beloved series finale.
‘M*A*S*H’ (1972–1983)
Season 11, Episode 16 “Goodbye, Farewell, and Amen”
Hawkeye (Alan Alda) and his team at the 4077th M*A*S*H unit delivered witty quips and foolish scenarios that drew in a strong fanbase. However, M*A*S*H was still a show that took on heavy topics such as war, politics, and trauma. “Goodbye, Farewell, and Amen” was a reminder of that as the series concluded in a masterpiece of a finale. It’s notably marked by the unit preparing to leave, and Hawkeye’s apparent breakdown as a result. M*A*S*H is a show about the Korean War that aired during the Vietnam War.
These sentiments are reflected in the way M*A*S*H portrays combat and everyone involved, as well as in the everyday impact of combat on both American soldiers stationed there and locals. The show never drifted from what makes it so beloved — wit and dark humor — even until the end. Additionally, the finale includes the now-iconic final scene with “Goodbye” written out in stone as the helicopters fly above. And, in a longstanding feat of excellence for the series, 105.9 million viewers tuned in to watch the finale live, breaking the record for most-watched TV series finale of all time.
‘Schitt’s Creek’ (2015–2020)
Season 6, Episode 14 “Happy Ending”
Schitt’s Creek‘s eventual conclusion solidified how the Rose family integrated into a town they would otherwise never have encountered, had it not been for circumstances. However, their time there is over — apart from David (Dan Levy), who remains with his husband — as they venture out into the world as changed people. Alexis (Annie Murphy) chooses her own path rather than a man, leaving for NYC to work. Meanwhile, Johnny (Eugene Levy) and Moira (Catherine O’Hara) decide to venture back into the entertainment and business world, but on new terms.
“Happy Ending” is one of the greatest finales for a beloved cult classic show. Schitt’s Creek ultimately showed the Rose family’s archetypal journey from “rags-to-riches” (or rather, riches to rags-to-riches in other forms). And for that reason, each member of the Roses discovers that what they desired was not money or status, but rather the bond that they were missing in seeking out those trivial things. Now it’s time for them to take these lessons into the world beyond the little rural town.
