GM Nolan Teasley has been hard at work. Any leader needs a good ecosystem of support. Minnesota’s top executive has therefore been working to fortify his helpers.

Check out the update from Ben Goessling of The Star Tribune for what’s taking place in Minnesota’s front office. The update: “The #Vikings are hiring former Bears GM Ryan Pace as a football advisor for new GM Nolan Teasley, and they’re adding Seahawks scout Azzaam Kapadia as assistant director of pro scouting.”

GM Nolan Teasley Brings More Talent to Twin Cities

Plenty of chatter is circulating online about the news. After all, Pace used to be the GM for the Bears, so people are noticing.

Ian Rapoport of The NFL Network offered his two cents: “The #Vikings will get valuable experience from Ryan Pace, the former #Bears GM. And Kapadia was another key cog in the #Seahawks machine, having most recently served as a pro scout in 2025.”

With Kapadia, Thor Nystrom passes along some good insight. Minnesota hired a worker: “He’s a film junky — described as curious, and no-stone-left-unturned thorough. Clearly respected by Teasley/Kirchner, the Nos. 2/3 in Seattle’s FO during his brief tenure.”

Scouting is a grind of a profession. Nobody will find success in this area of football unless there’s a willingness to spend a ton of time chewing up game film. Kapadia has found a way to stand out among a group of people known for their dedication.

On Pace, there are at least a few things to know.

For starters, he failed as the Chicago Bears’ GM. His overall record on the job finished off at 48-65. Twice did Pace’s Bears venture into the playoffs; twice did Pace’s Bears get bounced in the Wild Card Round. Chicago only surpassed .500 a single time when Pace was in charge.

Don’t be surprised if Bears fans in your friend group don’t have kind things to say about Pace. Quite possibly, he’s best known for drafting Mitchell Trubisky at No. 2 overall in the 2017 NFL Draft. Patrick Mahomes went at No. 10. Missing on Christian McCaffrey, chosen at No. 8 in the same draft, also stings.

Under GM Nolan Teasley, the Vikings have been making moves in the front office. Several people have been shown the door and still others have been hired. Before too long, the leadership group will be in place, allowed to move forward into the 2026 regular season.

Training camp gets going soon enough.

Published

on

Former NBA star Michael Beasley dropped a bombshell revelation on his Instagram stories on Tuesday. According to Beasley, Kim Davis, his current agent, has stolen “every penny” from him.

According to realgm.com, Davis has represented several basketball players. However, Beasley and Sebastian Telfair are the only ones in her client list who are easily recognizable by NBA fans.

Beasley put Davis on blast online and called her out.

“kim davis has stolen every penny i currently have!!! every penny!” Beasley posted. “i’m not looking for pitty because i know it’s my fault for trusting but forgive i just didn’t know another way!!! i’ve been thuggin the last few years and if it’s in gods will to continue than it shall continue but i’m here with my son and he doesn’t deserve that!

“kim we supposed to speak at 3am and if you don’t help me figure it out then i’ll post every screen shot i have because you are starting to looking like a liar”

Throughout his NBA career, Beasley has worked with various sports agents. In his rookie year, the former Kansas star was with Joel Bell. However, he parted ways with the agent and his advisor, D.C. Assault director Curtis Malone.

Beasley also worked with Charles Briscoe of Briscoe Sports Group in 2022. That was the time that the 6-foot-10 forward tried to make an NBA comeback.

However, that did not work out well, and he has not played in the league since the 2018-19 season.

Michael Beasley’s Honest Thoughts on Ending His NBA Career at 30

Michael Beasley’s career was filled with ups and downs. He was drafted No. 2 in 2008 by the Miami Heat and immediately showed promise. However, he never blossomed into a star player and bounced around the league.

After the 2018-19 season with the LA Lakers, no team gave him another chance, and the NBA moved on without him. When he appeared as a guest on “Club Shay Shay” in April, he said his honest thoughts about retiring after 30.

“I don’t care about this social media s**t. I don’t care about these podcasts or these Big3s. I was just — I was just happy being depressed about not being in the NBA,” he said.

“Kevin Durant still playing and I’m a year younger than him. You don’t think I want to still be — you don’t think I still — yes, absolutely. I was — yeah — heartbroken.”

Michael Beasley and Kevin Durant grew up together in Maryland and evolved into basketball stars. However, their careers have been different. Beasley hasn’t played in the NBA for years, while Durant is still active and is still considered to be one of the best active stars.
