“Let’s get this right now, there are nooooooooo Christmas sheets on,” Littler clarified, sharing an image of his current duvet.
The bedding clarification shows the young champion remains aware of social media reactions to his posts, even as his following has grown to 1.8 million on Instagram.
Littler’s Valentine’s Day post came after his triumph at Night 2 of the Premier League Darts in Glasgow’s OVO Hydro.
The Warrington teenager overcame crowd disruption to secure a 6-5 victory against Luke Humphries in the final.
“Yeah, obviously, there was a few in particular that were doing it [whistling] when Luke [Humphries] was throwing,” Littler said after the match.
He described how referee Kirk Bevins’ intervention initially made matters worse: “Kirk told them to be quiet and it got even worse, and then I missed doubles and Luke breaks at 5-4.”
