Recently, Cajun Navy Vice President Brian Trascher spoke exclusively with TMZ about the day Nolan Wells’ body was discovered. Trascher said he captured images of the scene during the search, and after zooming in on the photos, he noticed a body that fit the description of Nolan Wells. He explained that he never intended to photograph the body, but the images captured it during the search. Brian also said the photos show “a body laying faced down at the shoreline right at the water’s edge wearing swim trunks.” He added that some images are difficult to look at and hopes Nolan’s family never has to see them, but he said the United Cajun Navy will provide anything that Nolan’s parents request. “We will give them whatever they want, anytime they want, all they have to do is ask,” Trascher said.

Brian also explained why he and his team decided not to share details from the day they found Nolan with his parents right away. Trascher added that he believed Nolan’s mother would likely ask him to explain what he saw, and he felt those details could have made an already difficult moment even harder. “I just didn’t think it would be helpful to his mom as she was just finding out that her son was dead.” 

Furthermore, Trascher made it clear that he was never trying to hide anything. He said plenty of law enforcement officials were near Nolan’s body and could have also provided details from the scene. He added that he later learned that Nolan’s parents did not get access to view his body, which was something he didn’t know at the time. Trascher explained that if he had known, he would have shared information that could’ve helped Wells’ family get more clarity.

Attorney Ben Crump Shares Preliminary Findings From Nolan’s Independent Autopsy

Brian Trascher’s remarks come shortly after Attorney Ben Crump provided an update on Nolan Xavier Wells’ independent autopsy. On Wednesday, July 22, Crump addressed the findings during a press conference at the 117th NAACP National Convention. He explained that Dr. Roger Mitchell, a pathologist and current president of the National Medical Association, performed the independent autopsy and shared the preliminary observations.

According to Crump, the autopsy listed Nolan Wells’ cause and manner of death as “undetermined pending investigation.” He also revealed that the preliminary examination found a 12×8-inch area of “soft tissue” with red discoloration on the back of Wells’ head. Attorney Crump further stated that doctors could not examine certain internal neck structures because they did not receive the trachea and other neck tissues with Wells’ body for the second autopsy. Crump added that Dr. Mitchell wants to receive the missing tissue so he can conduct a more thorough review and reach a clearer conclusion.

“It is assumed that the initial pathologists retained these structures for additional evaluation. The retention […] is common […] He doesn’t know why they held the throat back, but he says the throat was not with the body of Nolan Wells when he received it in Washington DC to perform the second autopsy of the body,” Crump explained,

During their decade-long journey home to Ithaca, they come across these giants, and the movie had to properly depict how huge the giants were in comparison to Odysseus.

Damon shared that the physicality of shooting intense action sequences on “The Odyssey” took a toll on him and other members of the cast who are “middle-aged people.” He cited running through the stony ground in one of the movie settings, Troy, in sandals

He recently appeared on “Radio Andy,” where Andy Cohen asked if all the action sequences were filmed with the actors wearing sandals, to which he replied yes.

Due to their age, the location for the scenes, and the intensity of those shoots, Damon and many of his castmates were left with back pain and body aches.

“Our feet were all scuffed up, but more than the little scratches and cuts on your feet, it was the back pain for us. It was a heavy Advil movie in those weeks when we were doing that action stuff,” the movie star disclosed.

Damon’s A-lister status and high rank in the entertainment industry did not matter while he was on the set of the hit film. He revealed that he was treated just like everyone else, including the director, Nolan.

“There was no special treatment. If you’re out on a boat in the middle of the ocean and you get caught in a storm, you get wet with everybody else,” Damon recalled.

Speaking to PEOPLE, the entertainer explained that everyone was treated equally in all aspects, up to their food. “Nobody’s getting a hot beverage that you’re not getting,” he cited.

The actor noted that the end goal of the equal treatment made all the members of the cast and crew feel like they were “all in it together,” and personally, Damon felt like he bonded with everyone as they went through the challenges each day presented on set.

The cast featured other industry stars like Tom Holland and his wife, Zendaya, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, and Charlize Theron.

While looking back on his experience on “The Odyssey,” Damon revealed how physically demanding his role was for him. He stated that to embrace his role fully, he had to lose a large amount of weight by watching his diet and lifestyle.

The entertainer shared he took the healthy weight-loss route and lost 167 pounds. Looking back, Damon shared that if he had to gain as much weight as he lost for a movie role, the outcome would have been “dangerous.”

“It’s not something I’ll do anymore. I was happy to do it earlier in my life,” the Hollywood star disclosed, adding that he was intentional about his weight-loss journey for his on-screen role. As shared by The Blast, the 55-year-old movie star had to cut out gluten from his diet, change some aspects of his lifestyle, and get really fit.

Kesha has encountered plenty of wild situations throughout her career, but her latest visitor left the “TiK ToK” singer genuinely frightened. The 39-year-old musician shared a video of a raccoon attempting to crawl into her home through an open window. Despite Kesha repeatedly ordering the animal to leave, it refused to back down, eventually forcing the pop star to surrender the room.

Kesha recorded the unexpected security breach while standing several feet away from the wild animal. The raccoon had positioned itself on an open windowsill and appeared determined to enter the house. Although Kesha acknowledged that the creature looked adorable, she remained wary of getting too close. “No raccoons in the house!” Kesha shouted. “I’m scared of you… Get out of the house! You’re very cute.”

Her conflicting reaction made the encounter even funnier. The singer wanted the uninvited guest gone but could not resist complimenting it in the middle of their standoff. Unfortunately for Kesha, the raccoon seemed completely unimpressed by her commands.

The raccoon remained perched on the windowsill as Kesha continued trying to shoo it away from a safe distance. It did not retreat when she raised her voice, nor did it seem concerned when she established a strict no-raccoons policy for the house.

After realizing that the animal had no intention of following her directions, Kesha abandoned her effort to reclaim the room. She instead closed the interior door separating herself from the space the raccoon was attempting to access.

“I guess you win,” she admitted. The hilarious surrender allowed Kesha to avoid getting closer while leaving the persistent visitor in control of the standoff.

The unexpected visitor arrived during an active period in Kesha’s career. She released her sixth studio album, “Period,” in July 2025 through her independent label, Kesha Records. The project featured the 2024 single “Joyride,” along with “Delusional,” “Boy Crazy,” and “Yippee-Ki-Yay,” her collaboration with T-Pain.

Kesha’s iconic hit has also received a significant update since its original 2010 release. The song famously opened with the line, “Wake up in the morning feeling like P. Diddy.” However, Kesha permanently changed it to, “Wake up in the morning feeling like, f-ck P. Diddy!”

She began altering the lyric during live performances in late 2023 following a lawsuit and disturbing allegations against Sean “Diddy” Combs. The revised line went viral after Kesha performed it alongside Reneé Rapp during a surprise Coachella appearance in 2024.

In August 2024, Kesha confirmed on social media that the change was permanent. She also vowed to officially re-record “TiK ToK” with the updated opening as soon as she obtained the legal rights to do so.
