Big Brother 28: Secret Powers Exposed & Harsh Penalties Unveiled

Published

on

Big Brother: Time Capsule

Hey Big Brother fans, let’s look at the powers and punishments available in the BB Time Capsule. They unveiled all 6 punishments and all 6 rewards available with the Time Capsule on Unlocked.

And of course, you already saw Angela Murray get the Hard Boiled Detective punishment. That was an entire week of her in that big old costume. And now, another houseguest was selected for the BB Time Capsule.

This time it was another icon, Rick Devens (BB28). And unlike Angela, he smacked the big red button at the right time and got an incredible power. We’ll talk about his when we hit it on the list.

Big Brother: Time Capsule Punishments and Historical Context

First, let’s do punishments. I already mentioned the Egg Detective with the big magnifying glass. The first time we saw that was in BB27 when Vince Panaro lost a power of veto competition while on the chopping block.

Ava Pearl nominated him and Vince wound up with it during the prizes and punishments POV comp. Another punishment they revealed that I love is Lord of the Latrine. This one was from BB23 in the Kingdom of Curl-a-lot POV comp with prizes and punishments.

Derek Xiao was the HOH and he got the POV but then his nominee Britini D’Angelo was last to choose and took his POV and gave him Lord of the Latrine. This is more of a whole-house punishment.

Big Brother locked the downstairs bathroom and for 24 hours, any houseguest who needed to potty had to find Derek. Then ask his permission, and he’d escort them to the bathroom then blow a horn and announce their entry to the bathroom.

He’d say stuff like “Lady Tiffany’s now using the porcelain throne, is it a one or a two?” Fortunately, this punishment was only for 24 hours and not a whole week like so many of the worst BB punishments are.

Big Brother: Not the Whole Hog

Alright, another punishment they brought back is Hamazon. This was something Fessy Shafaat was hit with in BB20 and involved eating pork but because he’s Muslim, they had to accommodate with vegan ham.

Fessy got this in BB20 which was tech themed and it was from a BB APP store twist. Houseguests that were trending got a power app, an advantage of some sort. And those trending least got a crap app.

Fessy was least trending in Week 1 of this twist and he chose it from a list of 4 options with no idea what it was other than eating something. So, for a whole week, whenever Big Brother delivered ham, Fessy had to eat the entire package.

Deliveries were frequent, irregularly timed and could come day or night. One of the 2 a.m. deliveries he forced himself to eat came right back up and Fessy was throwing up the vegan ham while Kaitlyn Herman, the puzzle-challenged BB20 houseguest, patted his back.

Big Brother: Camp Guide and Partner Punishments

The Camp Guide punishment is also in the mix. This was from BB19‘s Summer of Temptation. The comp was adventure themed and it was typical prizes and punishments comp.

Alex Ow had the five-thousand-dollar cash prize and Elena Davies went last and got the camp guide punishment. Then, she broke a deal with Alex, grabbed her cash and stuck her with the punishment.

For the week, Alex had to wear a scouting type uniform and carry heavy gear on her back all the time. Then, when a bugle blared, Alex had to go to the backyard, pitch a big full-sized tent. Then she had to cook hot dogs for everyone and then break down the camp again.

Sometimes Big Brother would sound the bugle again right after she broke camp. Alex was so mad, she’d curse Elena late at night while building the tent like a mantra. This next punishment I’m super excited about because I’d been hoping to see a partner-punishment.

They brought back Adam and Eve from BB16. Caleb Reynolds and Victoria Rafaeli played in the Battle of the Block versus another duo. The best way to win that comp was to incur punishments.

But then you’d get safety for the week. So, Caleb and Victoria wound up with three punishments: Adam and Eve, two weeks of slop and also one had to shave the other’s head. Caleb nicely volunteered to be shaved.

They wore Adam and Eve unitards with leaves on them. They were tethered by a vine for 48 hours with the usual: eat together, sleep together, bathroom together, tethered for showers, and of course, tethered outside the door while the other had Diary Room sessions.

And finally, the last punishment’s a classic – the Red Unitard from BB8, 9 and 10 before Big Brother started doing more elaborate punishment costumes. This is probably the least problematic of the punishments unless you’re body shy. You wear it a week – that’s it.

Big Brother: Powers and the Diamond Power of Veto

Now let’s talk about the Powers at play – and I’ll tell you which one Devens just won. First, there’s Replay. We saw this in BB22 and it’s a good power because it lets the outgoing HOH play for the next Head of Household comp instead of being on the bench.

The holder of the power can use it on themselves or gift it to someone. This was won in BB22 by Dani Briones who then gifted it to Memphis Garrett so he could use it in Week 8. It’s not a particularly strong power since it only gives you a shot to win the HOH power.

But at least you have a shot where otherwise, as outgoing HOH, you’re at everyone’s mercy. Next up is the Mystery Competitor. This is from last season also, BB27. It’s when a past houseguest comes in and plays a comp on your behalf.

Keanu Soto got this power during the BB Break-In comp where the mastermind stole the HOH key and hid that and three powers in the sewers. Jimmy Heagerty found the HOH key and nominated Keanu who activated this power.

Big Brother sent in BB20 winner Kaycee Clark to play in the POV comp also which doubled Keanu’s chance to win POV. Keanu was eliminated early but Kaycee went on to win the comp for Keanu.

Big Brother: Power of VetoBig Brother: Power of Veto
Big Brother: Power of Veto

Big Brother: Bites and Bribes

The next power’s more about making your Big Brother experience more tolerable, not something that helps you get to the end. It’s the Never-Not Pass. This power’s been more frequently rewarded.

Jeremy McConnell got it in BB15, Becky Burgess got it in BB17, Natalie Negrotti got it in BB18. Hot mess Raven Walton got it in BB19. And Dani Donato was the last to hold it in BB22. Simply put, when you get the pass, you can never be made a Have Not.

This next power is a bit stronger than just skipping slop. It’s the BB Bribe. It first popped up in BB18 and it gives the holder cash to bribe another houseguest to do something for them. The holder can’t keep the money and if they don’t use it, it’s lost.

In BB18 the power was only live for one week. You could use it to buy someone’s vote, use or don’t use the POV, throw a comp, or affect nominations. Corey Brook got it in BB18. He bribed Victor Arroyo to vote against Michelle Meyer which he already planned to do.

But the cash was a gesture of good will towards the alliance they were both in. Next we have the Coin of Destiny from BB23. Claire Rehfuss won it during Tiffany Mitchell‘s HOH. Claire won it in a casino-style comp. When she activated it, she chose heads.

Then HOH Tiffany flipped the coin and it came up heads so she was dethroned. In that season it was a waste because Claire was allied with Tiffany (or thought she was since this was the Cookout season).

Claire kept the nominations the same when she could’ve changed them. Claire told Tiffany and Hannah Chaddha she had the power and the Cookout covered for Claire.

Big Brother: Top Tier Superpower

Okay now the superpower of superpowers – this is the power that Devens got from the BB Time Capsule – the Diamond Power of Veto. This first showed up in BB4 but with more limited powers. A higher-powered version unleashed in BB12 thanks to Pandora’s Box.

So, at the end of the veto meeting after the regular Golden Power of Veto is played or not played, the Diamond POV holder can stand up, activate the power. They get to take a nominee off the chopping block – themselves or someone else.

And this is where the Diamond Power comes in – the power holder gets to make the renom, not the Head of Household. This can be a big move to throw an ally of the HOH on the block and blindside the house.

Matt Ratcliffe was on the block in BB12Brendon Villegas put him up as replacement nom in revenge for Rachel Reilly’s eviction. Everyone was poised to vote Matt out. But he used the Diamond POV, told Brendon “better luck next time, you dummy.”

Then he took himself off the block and renommed Kathy Hillis who was evicted. Matt was safe. And the house was stunned because he kept it secret – no one knew so it was an epic blindside.

I’d love to see a return to this style of old school Big Brother play where houseguests actually keep their mouths shut about stuff.

34 Years Later, Peter Gabriel’s Most Heartbreaking Song Still Captures the End of an Era

Published

on

confessions-II

Peter Gabriel‘s career has been one of the most prolific and groundbreaking in music history. From his beginnings in Genesis, where his progressive rock compositions and shocking and disruptive stage performances stunned audiences, to his incredible solo career, where he experimented with rhythms and sounds from around the world, he never stopped reinventing himself. He now has an album coming up at the end of 2026, and the singles he has released so far prove that he’s not slowing down.

Most of his biggest hits came out during the ’80s and ’90s, and they range from funk and dance rock tracks like “Sledgehammer” to beautiful, moving ballads. On his 1992 album, Us, he recruited Irish singer Sinéad O’Connor and recorded a few duets with her. One of them is his hit ballad, “Come Talk to Me.” Most likely, when fans first listened to this song, they assumed it was a classic love song about estranged lovers. But the true meaning behind it is more heartbreaking. Gabriel wrote it about his daughter, and it was a desperate attempt at connection.

Why Peter Gabriel Wrote His Most Personal Song for His Daughter

“Come Talk to Me” opens Peter Gabriel’s 1992 album, Us, the album that he described as his most vulnerable one. And with good reason. Right away, the song reveals the many different influences he wanted to include from around the world. It starts with distorted guitars, African drums, synthesizers, and bagpipes, creating a dissonant but hypnotic sound. According to Peter Gabriel, it grew out of a Senegalese groove he’d recorded years before. “I tried to introduce quite a lot of textures, so it’s more of a journey than some of the other tracks,” he explained. “Starting off with these bagpipes, there’s something gutsy and primal about the sound of pipes.”

Like the Stones, you’ve seen it all, done most of it, and somehow look better for it. You’re not chasing perfection — you’re chasing truth, groove, and that electric moment when everything clicks. Can’t always get what you want? You tend to get it anyway.

You are magnificent, and you know it — not from arrogance, but from an unshakeable sense of self that has never needed anyone’s permission. But while the rich melody is beautiful, the lyrics are the most moving part. Especially considering the real meaning behind it. “Darkness creeps in like a thief / And offers no relief / Why are you shaking like a leaf? / Come on, come talk to me,” Gabriel sings earnestly, before going into a chorus that is basically a plea. “Oh please talk to me / Won’t you please talk to me / We can unlock this misery / Come on, come talk to me / I did not come to steal / This all is so unreal / Can’t you show me how you feel? / Now come on, come talk to me.”

Around the time he was writing this album, he was divorcing his first wife, and his family was struggling as a result. “In ‘Come Talk To Me’ there’s a block in communicating,” Gabriel shared, and added that it was with one of his daughters. “I saw that she was angry and was unable to externalize her feelings, so it was a real cry from the heart.”

The Pain Behind ‘Us’ Shaped Peter Gabriel’s Greatest Songs

His estrangement from his daughter and the end of his marriage were weighing on Gabriel, and this album, Us, is very vulnerable as a result. But vulnerability doesn’t mean it’s grim; it just means it’s honest. And Gabriel was proud of that. “I don’t think the tone of the album is dark,” Gabriel argued. “It feels quite alive for the fact that it is letting stuff out, and relationships are more directly addressed than before… I feel that by looking in the darkness and by plunging into it, diving into it, that there is some light at the other end of it, which otherwise you bury, it gets suppressed. It feels quite hopeful to me, quite positive.”

“I have never been more sincere in my life. Whether that’s sincere enough, I don’t know. But I do know that I have taken a lot of trouble to give the listener an unadulterated glimpse of my inner life. Therapy taught me that it’s always essential to be open about one’s feelings and emotions, in order to get a grip on them,” he went on. For him, working on the album was the best way to do that. He explained that, while his life was falling apart around him, he felt that music was something he could control. The theme of the album, at its core, is connection and communication. Everything he felt he couldn’t say to his family, and especially to his daughter, he was saying through music. It makes the name Us take on a whole different meaning. And it’s clearly perfectly fitting.

Outer Banks Season 5 Trailer Hints at More Deaths After JJ Exit

Us Explains Outer Banks Offscreen Backlash After JJ Controversial Death

The first look at Outer Banks‘ final season hinted at more potential deaths after Rudy Pankow‘s controversial exit as JJ.

Netflix released the official trailer on Wednesday, July 28, which showed John B. (Chase Stokes), Sarah (Madelyn Cline), Kiara (Madison Bailey), Pope (Jonathan Daviss) and Cleo (Carlacia Grant) mourning the loss of JJ. They ultimately decide on a revenge plan that seems to led to some potentially fatal moments including someone on a motorcycle falling off a cliff, deadly explosives and more.

Outer Banks, which debuted in 2020, follows the conflict between two groups of teenagers in a coastal North Carolina town. The social divide is introduced with the wealthy residents (a.k.a. the Kooks) and the working class (the Pogues).

Season 5, which premieres August 20, will follow the aftermath of JJ’s shocking death. The show originally received backlash when Pankow’s departure was confirmed despite the writing team claiming it was always the plan to kill off the fan-favorite character.

“It’s been kind of lurking in his DNA from the beginning. He’s really a tragic figure, and the idea of mortality, and you only have a finite window — it’s also a theme of the show,” executive producer Jonas Pate told The Hollywood Reporter in November 2024. “It’s something John B. has talked about from the first season. So believe it or not, this is something that was always sort of baked in the cake, and we just wanted to tell the story as elegantly and interestingly as possible.”

After JJ’s onscreen death, the show’s creators explained their decision to kill off a Pogue.

“The overarching plan was to begin with just some kids who wanted to have a good time all the time, and take them on a whole journey,” Shannon Burke told Deadline in November 2024. “One of them was going to end up dying, and pretty early on, we knew that was going to be JJ, he’s the most reckless. He is also the most beloved and, in one way, the most sacrificing and the most risk-taking. And this was going to be JJ’s year.”

JJ’s shocking death on Outer Banks inspired fan speculation about what led to the controversial decision — including cast feud rumors and more. During the second part of season 4, which premiered in November 2024, viewers were in for a surprise when a trip to track down treasure in Morocco led to one of the […]

He continued: “The kids, they’re getting older. We wanted to begin in a place of innocence and then go to a place that at least one point to go is really dark for them, and then have them come out of it. That’s the overarching plan for the show. It was always JJ that was going to be, we just weren’t sure how we were going to play it.”

Viewers subsequently started to question whether Pankow’s exit came as a result of a rumored rift between him and the cast, which includes characters John B, Sarah, Kiara, Pope, JJ and Cleo (Carlacia Grant).

Pankow, 28, for his part, has said that he thinks JJ’s death was meant to move the story along.

“When I first found out JJ was gonna risk it all and not make it, I understood it. And the risks got bigger and bigger, and the stakes got higher and higher,” he explained to Netflix’s Tudum that same month. “His death really does set up the future of OBX with the question, what is worth it? And when someone that close to you is gone, how do you navigate that?”

Eva Mendes Blasts ‘Fake’ Ryan Gosling And Johnny Depp Image

Eva Mendes models her stylish new eyewear collection with Look Optic

Eva Mendes is making it clear that a viral image appearing to show Ryan Gosling and Johnny Depp together at San Diego Comic-Con never happened. The actress called out an Instagram account after it shared an AI-generated picture depicting her longtime partner walking alongside Depp at the convention. Although both actors attended the event, their appearances occurred on separate days, and there is no evidence they spent time together. Eva Mendes’ response prompted the account to apologize and change its caption to identify the image as artificial intelligence.

The fabricated picture was shared by the Instagram account @opavisions and showed Gosling walking through the Comic-Con crowds alongside Depp, who was dressed as Ebenezer Scrooge. A character named Slopaxo also appeared partially in the image and was tagged in the post. The original caption presented the scene as if it were a genuine candid moment from the convention.

“Some of our favorite moments from Comic-Con weren’t on stage; they were watching Ryan Gosling, Johnny Depp, and @slopaxo moving through the crowds like the unlikeliest best-friend trio,” the caption read. “Between candid walks, conversations with fans, and spontaneous stops, they quietly became one of the weekend’s most memorable sights.”

Mendes quickly entered the comment section to correct the claim. “FAKE. Please let People know when you’re putting out AI,” she wrote.

Instagram Account Apologizes After Being Called Out

Following Mendes’ response, the account acknowledged that the image was not authentic and promised to be more transparent. “@evamendes DISCLAIMER: THIS WAS AI***,” the account wrote.

“Thank you for saying something. You’re right, and I’ll be more clear going forward,” the message continued before praising Mendes and Gosling’s respective careers.

The account reportedly issued an additional apology with, “Ok we will sorry,” and later added, “Wow. I’m a big fan. I love your movies.” Comments have since been disabled on the post, while its lengthy original caption has been replaced with one word: “AI.”

Although the post has now been labeled, the initial presentation gave viewers no clear indication that the scene had been artificially created.

Part of what made the fabricated image appear believable was Depp’s elaborate Ebenezer Scrooge costume, which he genuinely wore during Comic-Con. The actor made a surprise appearance in San Diego to promote “Ebenezer: A Christmas Carol,” scheduled to arrive in theaters on November 13.

Organizers constructed a mock storefront in the Gaslamp Quarter and covered the surrounding area in artificial snow. A crowd gathered as Christmas carolers performed before Depp emerged in character from the building. Despite fans cheering and calling out to him, Depp maintained Scrooge’s famously irritable demeanor as he moved through the activation.

He later appeared in costume during Collider’s Directors on Directing panel, giving convention attendees a closer look at his transformation for the forthcoming film.

Ryan Gosling’s Ghost Rider Casting Was Revealed Days Later

Gosling made his own surprise Comic-Con appearance on Saturday, when Marvel announced that he will portray Ghost Rider in an upcoming standalone film. Shawn Levy will direct the project, which is slated for release in 2028. The filmmaker recently worked with Gosling on “Star Wars: Starfighter,” scheduled to premiere on May 28, 2027.

“Gosling is the absolute sh-t. I say that with tremendous respect,” Levy told the Comic-Con audience. “We spent a lot of time last year making Starfighter, and the opportunity as Ryan started talking about this character, I was like, “Bro, let’s ride.” We’ll see you in 2028!”

The project will mark Gosling’s entrance into the Marvel Cinematic Universe and reunite him with Levy behind the camera.

Eva Mendes Has Her Own Connection To ‘Ghost Rider’

Gosling’s casting creates an unexpected full-circle moment for Mendes, who previously appeared in the 2007 “Ghost Rider” movie starring Nicolas Cage. Mendes portrayed Roxanne Simpson, the former girlfriend and love interest of Cage’s Johnny Blaze. The film earned approximately $229 million worldwide against a reported production budget of about $110 million.

The actress has publicly supported Gosling’s casting in the new adaptation, making her connection to the franchise even more personal. However, Mendes was considerably less enthusiastic about seeing her partner placed into a fictional Comic-Con encounter without an upfront disclosure.

Following one of the most impressive opening weekends of the year, where it broke numerous records, including becoming its director and star’s highest-grossing opening yet, Christopher Nolan‘s historical epic The Odyssey held that momentum for weekend #2. The blockbuster, which was dubbed an “unrivaled cinematic spectacle” in Joe Schmidt‘s review for Collider, has now sailed to $700 million worldwide, against a $250 million production budget.

Matt Damon finally made the move to leading man in a Nolan movie in The Odyssey, after previously appearing in the likes of Interstellar and Oppenheimer. Add to this a star-studded ensemble including Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, and Zendaya, the reputation of Nolan, and the promise of a feast of practical filmmaking, and The Odyssey was destined to prove an unstoppable hit. Can it reach the $1 billion mark? After such a strong start, it certainly looks likely, and that would make it only Nolan’s third film to hit this height after The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises.

With a global haul of $700 million after just a few weekends, The Odyssey has now surpassed the final box office total of one of 2026’s most defining films. Directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, Project Hail Mary made $684 million in global revenue earlier this year, with this total likely to be smashed by The Odyssey in less than a week. Considering just how strong Project Hail Mary‘s theatrical run was, for The Odyssey to make overtaking it look like a breeze is particularly impressive.

You’re dropped into a dangerous situation with no warning. What do you need most from a partner?

02

You have to get somewhere dangerous, fast. How do you travel?
How you get there is half the mission.

03

You’re pinned down and outnumbered. What does your ideal partner do?
This is when you find out what someone is really made of.

04

The mission is paused. You have one evening to decompress. What does your partner suggest?
Who someone is when the pressure drops is who they actually are.

05

How do you prefer your partner to communicate mid-mission?
Good communication is the difference between partners and a liability.

It’s the final moment. Everything is on the line. What do you need from your partner right now?
The last question is the most honest one.

Your Partner Has Been Assigned
Your Perfect Partner Is…

Your answers have pointed to one action hero above all others. This is the person built to have your back — for better or considerably, spectacularly worse.

Rambo

Your partner doesn’t talk much, doesn’t need to, and will have assessed every threat in your immediate environment before you’ve finished your first sentence. John Rambo is not a man of plans or politics — he is a force of nature shaped by survival, loyalty, and a capacity for endurance that goes beyond anything training can produce. He will not leave you behind. He has never left anyone behind who deserved to come home. What you get with Rambo is the most capable, most quietly ferocious partner imaginable — one who has been through things that would have broken anyone else, and who chose to keep going anyway. You’ll never need to ask if he has your back. You’ll just know.

James Bond

Your partner will arrive perfectly dressed, perfectly briefed, and with a cover story so convincing it’ll take you a moment to remember what’s actually true. James Bond is the most professionally dangerous person in any room he enters — and the most disarmingly charming, which is the point. He operates in a world of layers, where nothing is what it appears and every advantage is used without apology. You’ll never be bored. You’ll occasionally be furious. But when it matters — when the mission is genuinely on the line and the margin for error has collapsed to nothing — Bond is exactly the partner you want. He has survived things that have no business being survivable. He does it with style. That is not nothing.

Indiana Jones

Your partner will know the history, the language, the cultural context, and exactly why the thing everyone else is ignoring is actually the most important thing in the room. Indiana Jones is brilliant, reckless, and occasionally impossible — but he is also one of the most resourceful, most genuinely knowledgeable partners you could find yourself beside. He approaches every situation with a scholar’s eye and a brawler’s instinct, which is an unusual combination and a remarkably effective one. He hates snakes and gets personally attached to objects of historical significance, both of which will slow you down at least once. It doesn’t matter. What Indy brings is irreplaceable — and the adventures you’ll have together will be the kind people write books about. Assuming you survive them.

John McClane

Your partner was not supposed to be here. He does not have the right equipment, the right information, or anything approaching the right odds. He has a sarcastic remark and an absolute refusal to accept that the situation is as bad as it looks. John McClane is the greatest accidental hero in the history of action cinema — a man whose superpower is stubbornness, whose contingency plan is improvisation, and whose capacity to absorb punishment and keep moving would be alarming if it weren’t so useful. He will complain the entire time. He will make it significantly more chaotic than it needed to be. And he will absolutely, unconditionally, without question come through when it counts. Yippee-ki-yay.

Ethan Hunt

Your partner has already run seventeen scenarios by the time you’ve finished reading the briefing, and the plan he’s settled on involves at least two things that should be physically impossible. Ethan Hunt operates at the absolute edge of human capability — technically, physically, and intellectually — and he brings the same relentless precision to protecting his partners that he brings to dismantling organisations that shouldn’t exist. He is not easy to know and he will never fully tell you everything. But he will carry the weight of the mission so completely, so absolutely, that your job is simply to trust him — and the remarkable thing is that trusting him always turns out to be the right call. The mission will be impossible. He will complete it anyway.

Another Movie Just Hit an Enormous Box Office Milestone

It wasn’t just The Odyssey celebrating a successful weekend at the box office. In its sixth weekend, after falling no further than third in the ranks, Pixar’s latest animated sequel, Toy Story 5, has finally reached the box office promised land, breaking the billion-dollar boundary. One of the most successful films of the year, Toy Story 5 is just the third to reach $1 billion in 2026, following in the footsteps of the video game adaptation sequel, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, and Antoine Fuqua’s musical biopic, Michael.

The Odyssey is currently available to watch in theaters worldwide. For more of the latest box office stories, stay tuned to Collider.

Usher Reacts To Fan’s “Pretty Privilege” Remarks After Stage Boot

Usher warns fan onstage the R&B Tour kicked fan off stage

Usher warned a fan during a concert in Birmingham, Alabama, before bringing her onstage. The singer is currently performing in the ‘The R&B Tour,’ and he recently kicked a woman named Gabrielle Cheyenne off the stage after she failed to play along during the fan segment. His new warning also seemed to address Gabrielle’s “pretty privilege” comments.

Usher Seemingly Throws Shade & Warns Fan Before Bringing Her Onstage

Usher is known for his spicy performances during his concerts, and he has a special segment where he brings a female fan onstage while he sings ‘Can U Handle It?’

A fan was kicked offstage recently during the tour, and she later said on social media that she looked too good to decline the offer to go onstage with her “PRETTY PRIVILEGES.” Days later, Usher warned a fan at his Birmingham show, referencing the woman he had previously kicked off the stage.

“Before we get started, don’t bring your a*s up here if you don’t wanna be here,” he said as the audience howled. “God, don’t like ugly, but he most certainly don’t feel too good about pretty privilege, either.”

Woman Kicked Off Stage Explains Her Reaction

During a performance in Nashville, Tennessee on Saturday, July 25, Usher kicked a fan off stage after bringing her up for the sexy segment of the show. The fan seemed less than enthusiastic as the ‘Climax’ artist attempted to lay her down on a bed, and he waved her off the stage after saying, “I don’t think she wants to be on stage.” The fan, Gabrielle Cheyenne, explained herself on Facebook after receiving backlash.

“First off NOBODY is declining to go on stage. I looked good… you thought I wasn’t gonna let THOUSANDS of people see me?? On the big screen, where you Will never be???? My mom and I had FLOOR SEATS. Their team approached us and moved us to VIP before the show even started !! PRETTY PRIVILEGES something you will never know about!! They don’t say what you’re going up there for!! Y’all wanted me to get up there and f**k him atp ?? CHATT FOLKS AREN’T USED TO ANYTHING. That’s the most exciting thing that would’ve happened in y’all little a** lives !! F**k yall, DISRESPECTFULLY

Cheyenne spoke to TMZ on Monday, July 27, and admitted that she wanted to be onstage with Chris Brown, who is also on the tour. Cheyenne said that she was brought to the VIP area but wasn’t told what she would be brought onstage for. She said that she would have reacted differently if it has been Brown onstage with her instead of Usher. She added that she wouldn’t have accepted has she known the VIP offer was for the ‘Yeah!’ artist.

“I’m more of a Chris Brown fan than I am of Usher,” she said. “So, of course, it would have been a different reaction with Chris Brown… it wouldn’ta been the stiffness.”

The fan added that she didn’t mean to ruin the moment, but she prefers one artist over the other.

Fans Have Mixed Reactions To Usher’s Warning

Fan reactions were mixed after the clip was shared on TSR’s Instagram page. Several Roomies were feeling Usher’s warning while others shared their critiques about both fan interactions.

User @anishajanae wrote, Yall talking about his ego hurt when it’s as simple as, don’t go up there if you don’t want to participate. We’ve seen how these shows go.”

User @gueits wrote, He said nothing wrong, that girl was playing on them people’s stage 🫩.”

@dutchisrunway wrote, Don’t mess up people performance and bag ..just to be weird.”

User @jinadoll1212 added, Start bringing up REAL fans and not IG models and that won’t happen.”

@therealcourtneybee added, Get real fans up there, the ones with your faces on the shirts 🤷🏾‍♀️😂.”

@iheartdna noted that Usher threw the whole tree with his warning. Not ‘he don’t feel so good about pretty privilege either’ 😂 That was petty 🤣🤣.”

@mr_grindhard4 added, Humbled her ssa quick😂😂😂.”

@shay_tha_great wrote, Yall talking about ego???? HE AT WORK!!!! 😂😂😂.”

User @she.prettyxoxo wrote, Imagine waiting your whole life to get picked just to get unpicked.😂.”

@nunu_struts replied, It’s not about ego. It’s fn facts. Don’t get up there if you don’t want to be up there. It’s very simple.”

Hulu’s ‘Ted Lasso’ Replacement Officially Sets 2026 Release Date

Quentin Plair motivating his team in Chad Powers Season 2

This article covers a developing story. Continue to check back with us as we will be adding more information as it becomes available.

Sports comedies have been enjoying a bit of a renaissance in the streaming era, arguably ever since the debut of the feelgood Emmy-winning hit Ted Lasso in 2020. Netflix recently took a big swing at the subgenre with its new golf series, The Hawk, starring Will Ferrell as a washed-up former PGA legend aiming to make the big comeback nobody wants him to, but that hat was just the latest example in a line of titles finding laughs among the pros. Apple TV also put its own spin on the game with Owen Wilson‘s Stick, and, just last year, Happy Gilmore 2 made its long-awaited return to the green with Adam Sandler back in the lead role as the former hockey player turned golf legend. Not to be lost in the shuffle is Glen Powell‘s football series Chad Powers, which overcame a lukewarm critical reception to score a touchdown with viewers and earn a Season 2.

Inspired by the Eli’s Places segment where Eli Manning goes undercover as a college walk-on, Chad Powers Season 1 followed canceled football star Russ Holliday (Powell) as he eyes an opportunity to return to football glory after blowing up his reputation in a championship game. With some help from his roommate Danny (Frankie A. Rodriguez), he dons a new face and comes back to the game as Chad Powers, a West Virginia man competing for a starting job on the South Georgia Catfish. Hilarity ensues as he slowly leads the team out of the doldrums while keeping his secret gets harder and harder and the stakes soar ever higher. Season 2 now sees Chad as an established superstar, but with much bigger issues now that assistant coach and will-they-won’t-they love interest Ricky (Perry Mattfield) knows his secret. After filming began in February, that date has now been set for when the titular quarterback will begin the march to the promised land.

Hulu has announced that Season 2 will kick off on September 3, a remarkably quick turnaround less than one year after Season 1’s arrival. Accompanying the date was also a new set of images teasing what’s to come as the Catfish aim for the College Football Playoffs. A couple shots see him working on perfecting the disguise to ward off suspicion while he tries to lead the SEC football team to glory. Nonetheless, Coach Hudson (Steve Zahn) and Gerry (Colton Ryan) seem increasingly wary of him given his suspicious activity off the field. As much as she doesn’t want to help, Ricky may be his only hope, as she’s seen meeting with Russ and Danny at a restaurant, presumably to discuss plans to keep the Chad Powers myth alive.

Xbox Officially Launches PC Mode for 4 Classic Childhood Games

Published

Xbox Hit With Major Changes Amid Layoffs and Studio Spin-Offs

We all love going for a stroll down memory lane and hearing noises, seeing sights, and clicking buttons we used to click as kids, which is why it’s been such a bummer that some of the original Xbox’s most fondly remembered games have remained frustratingly difficult to revisit outside Microsoft’s consoles. While backward compatibility has become a major part of the Xbox identity, PC players have largely been left watching from the sidelines. Well, all of that has now officially changed for good.

Xbox has officially launched Backward Compatibility on PC, beginning with four classic games from the original Xbox era. Conker: Live & Reloaded, Blinx: The Time Sweeper, Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge and Fuzion Frenzy are now available through the Xbox app on PC, and all four can be purchased individually and are also included with every Xbox Game Pass plan.

Your Fate Has Been Calculated
You’d Survive In…

Your answers point to the world your instincts were built for. This is the universe your temperament, your survival instincts, and your particular brand of stubbornness were made for.

The Resistance, Zion

The Matrix

You took the red pill a long time ago — probably before anyone offered it to you. You’re a systems thinker who can’t help but notice the seams in things.

  • You’re drawn to understanding how the system works before figuring out how to break it.
  • You’d find the Resistance, or it would find you — your instinct for spotting constructed realities is the machines’ worst nightmare.
  • You function best when you have access to information and the freedom to act on it.
  • The Matrix built an airtight prison. You’d be the one probing the walls for the door.

The Wasteland

Mad Max

The wasteland doesn’t reward the clever or the well-connected — it rewards those who are hard to kill and harder to break. That’s you.

  • You don’t need comfort, community, or a cause larger than the next horizon.
  • You need a vehicle, a clear threat, and enough fuel to outrun it — and you’re good at all three.
  • You are unsentimental enough to survive that world, and decent enough — just barely — to be something more than another raider.
  • In the wasteland, that distinction is everything.

Los Angeles, 2049

Blade Runner

You’d survive here because you know how to exist in moral grey areas without losing yourself completely.

  • You read people accurately, keep your circle small, and ask the questions others prefer not to answer.
  • In a city where humanity is a legal designation rather than a feeling, you hold onto something that keeps you functional.
  • You’re not a hero. But you’re not lost, either.
  • In Blade Runner’s world, that distinction is everything.

Arrakis

Dune

Arrakis is the most hostile environment in the known universe — and you are precisely the kind of person it rewards.

  • Patience, discipline, and political awareness are your core strengths — and on Arrakis, they’re survival tools.
  • You understand that the long game matters more than any single victory.
  • Others come to Dune and are consumed by it. You’d learn its logic and earn its respect.
  • In time, you wouldn’t just survive Arrakis — you’d begin to reshape it.

A Galaxy Far, Far Away

Star Wars

The galaxy far, far away is vast, loud, and in a constant state of violent political upheaval — and you wouldn’t have it any other way.

  • You find meaning in being part of something larger than yourself — a cause, a crew, a rebellion.
  • You’d gravitate toward the Rebellion, or the fringes, or whatever pocket of the galaxy still believes the Empire’s grip can be broken.
  • You fight — not because you have to, but because standing aside isn’t something you’re capable of.
  • In Star Wars, that willingness is what makes all the difference.

More Classic Xbox Games Are Coming to PC

Through Xbox Play Anywhere, each title can be accessed across compatible PCs, Xbox consoles and handhelds including the ROG Xbox Ally and Xbox Ally X, while cloud streaming is also supported. Players who already own a digital Xbox licence for any of the four games will not need to purchase them again on PC. The updated versions include resolution scaling of up to four times the original output, VSync, fullscreen and windowed display options, anisotropic filtering and improved anti-aliasing.

Backwards compatibility has been a huge feature of the Xbox since the Xbox One began supporting the original Xbox titles and those from the Xbox 360. It continued through the Series X and S, but this is the company’s first coordinated effort to bring that legacy catalog properly to PC. And in more good news, Achievements are going to be added to selected original Xbox games on both PC and consoles later in the year. The initial four releases are expected to receive Achievement support within the coming months, which will give us all those endorphin rushes we used to get when we’d complete a level in 30 seconds or something.

Microsoft has not yet revealed which games will join the service next, although it confirmed that the library will continue expanding. For now, PC players can finally revisit the foul-mouthed squirrel who’s well known for having very bad days, control time, battle through the skies, and ruin friendships in multiplayer permanently without digging an original Xbox out of storage.
