Cristiano Ronaldo is set to extend his stay at Al-Nassr with a new £167.9million contract that includes an unprecedented ownership stake in the Saudi club.
The 39-year-old Portuguese superstar has been offered a five per cent stake in the Saudi Pro League side as part of structural changes at the club, reports say.
This ownership offer comes as Al-Nassr prepares to appoint a new president and chief executive in the coming months.
The club is majority-owned by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, which holds a 75 per cent stake.

Despite his individual success, Ronaldo has claimed just one trophy with Al-Nassr – the 2023 Arab Club Championship.
Al-Nassr currently sit third in the Saudi Pro League with 28 points, trailing behind the leading duo.
Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad are locked at the top of the table with 37 points each, with Al-Hilal ahead on goal difference.
Yet Ronaldo remains confident of glory, with the 39-year-old adding: “I’ve been champion everywhere I have played and I believe I will be champion.”
