Rosie O’Donnell’s Tom Cruise Crush Confused People
Rosie O’Donnell has never been shy about sharing personal details about her life and career, but one surprising revelation involves her longtime crush on Tom Cruise. The comedian and TV personality recently recalled how some people were shocked to learn that she was a lesbian, due to her public admiration of the movie star.

Rosie O’Donnell’s infatuation with Tom Cruise dated back to the mid-’90s, when she frequently talked about her crush on “The Rosie O’Donnell Show” and even referred to him as “my Tommy.” The two have forged a friendship over the years, with the actor leaning into the bit.
In a recent interview, however, O’Donnell shared that some were “shocked” when she came out as a lesbian in 2002. They cited her longtime admiration for Cruise, which the host said they interpreted as her wanting to sleep with him.
“I often said, ‘I don’t want him in bed. I want him to mow my lawn and bring me an iced tea.’ Like that’s what I said. And I didn’t know how much clearer I could be,” O’Donnell told Amy Poehler on the “Good Hang” podcast.
Tom Cruise Acknowledged The TV Host’s Crush
Cruise made a few guest appearances on O’Donnell’s show. In his first guest appearance to promote the movie “Jerry Maguire,” the actor brought her a bouquet of flowers, acknowledged her admiration of him, and even kissed her on the cheek.
O’Donnell openly admitted she had a crush on him and asked, “Does it scare you a little bit?” Laughing, Cruise said he didn’t mind. The host also asked whether Nicole Kidman, whom the actor was married to at that time, knew about her crush.
The host said she didn’t want to break up Cruise and Kidman’s marriage; she was merely “infatuated” with him and wanted the actor to live in her house.
Cruise did a few more appearances before “The Rosie O’Donnell Show” concluded in 2002 after six seasons.
Rosie O’Donnell Still Gets Cards And Gifts From The Actor
O’Donnell and Cruise forged a friendship over the years, and in 2021, the TV personality revealed that the actor has not missed greeting her on her birthday.
She admitted that she doesn’t agree with his beliefs in Scientology and wasn’t close enough to the actor to discuss it, but described him as a “classy” man.
“He is the only person who never misses my birthday. In knowing him for 25 years now, he has never missed my birthday or an event in my life,” O’Donnell said. While some people noted that a secretary may have been sending gifts and cards on the actor’s behalf, O’Donnell thinks otherwise. “I don’t believe that. I think he knows in early March, ‘Oh, it’s Rosie’s birthday coming up,’ and he sends me something,” she said on “The Jess Cagle Show.”
In December 2025, O’Donnell shared a photo of a card she received from the actor for the holidays. She also previously shared that she had received the famous coconut cake that Cruise sends to his celebrity friends.
Elsewhere in the interview with Poehler, O’Donnell revealed her latest crush, Sydney James Harcourt, whom she previously referred to as her “new Tom Cruise.” “A woman’s needs change as she gets older,” she said.
Harcourt, a theater actor, played Rum Tum Tugger on Broadway’s “Cats: The Jellicle Ball,” which the comedian recently watched.
“He is the sexiest human I’ve ever seen and so unbearably talented,” she told Poehler, adding that she felt like “a little schoolgirl” when Harcourt approached her and sang.
Despite the admiration, O’Donnell is still a lesbian. “I still have those feelings but it doesn’t translate into, ‘I would like to be sexually intimate with you.’ Doesn’t go there. Trust me on that,” she said.
Rosie O’Donnell Is Considering A Return To The U.S.
O’Donnell has been traveling back and forth between the U.S. and Ireland in the past few months. She relocated to Ireland in January 2025 with her youngest child due to the political climate, per The Blast.
In July, O’Donnell shared that she is contemplating a move back to the U.S. to be closer to her family. Her son, Blake, welcomed a child in March, and the host wants to purchase a home in New Jersey near her children to have a place to stay whenever she’s in the country. However, she is still unsure whether the move would be permanent.

Rosario Dawson Was Cut From ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’
Rosario Dawson has appeared in several Marvel Cinematic Universe projects, including “Daredevil,”
“Jessica Jones,” and “Luke Cage.” Because of this, many expected to see her cameo in the Tom Holland-led “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” as her character Claire Temple. Now, following the movie’s second weekend of release, she’s revealing that she filmed a scene that landed on the cutting room floor.

According to Variety, Dawson recently appeared at a “Daredevil” fan event in North Carolina. During the appearance, she was asked to name the superhero movie she’d wanted to be cast in but for some reason wasn’t.
After thinking for a bit, she revealed that her MCU character was intended to be included in the “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” scene. According to her, “Well, I’m going to have to say, I could have said Spider-Man. I even shot a scene in the new ‘Spider-Man’ movie, but I got cut out.”
The audience at the convention reacted by groaning, leading the actress to reveal her mother’s reaction to her scene being cut from the already billion-dollar-grossing film. She recalled, “I know. I told my mom, and she was like, ‘That sucks. Now I can’t post the pictures.’ And I was like, ‘Right, Mom, me being cut out of the movie that has the largest viewership of a trailer ever, the issue is you can’t post the BTS photos.”
The ‘Daredevil’ Actress Went On To Share Her Connection To Spider-Man

Dawson continued her discussion about being cut from “Brand New Day” by sharing that in addition to appearing in the MCU, she has personal connections to the character. Specifically, one was that her uncle happens to be a comic book artist, and the beloved superhero was the first character he’d learned to draw.
She shared another connection, saying, “There’s a frame in one of the new comics that has a young Spider-Man talking to Daredevil, and they made it so that the young Spider-Man goes to PS19 in the Lower East Side, which is where I went to elementary school.”
Regarding her disappointment over her scene not being in the final cut of “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” she shared, “So when I tell you my post was already ready with my BTS, with my grandson wearing all his Spider-Man stuff … Then I got the email that was like, ‘Yeah, nah.’”
Rosario Was First Cast In The MCU In 2014

Dawson is perhaps best known for her role as Ahsoka Tano in the Star Wars franchise. However, according to The Wrap, she was cast in the MCU in 2014, with her role in “Daredevil” premiering the following year. An official statement from Marvel said, “Rosario Dawson is one of the most charismatic, talented, and powerful actresses in Hollywood, so she was always at the top of our list for Marvel’s ‘Daredevil.’”
It continued, “Her role in the series is absolutely critical to Matt Murdock’s journey to become the hero we know as Daredevil.”
In 2022, after appearing in multiple Marvel projects, she responded to a question from The Hollywood Reporter about having unfinished business with her character. According to her, “Oh yeah. For sure. You don’t even see her in that last “tell Claire to go home” moment on Luke Cage. So what is that? You know it’s terrible.”
She continued, “So, yeah, I’d be super curious, but I’m just so stoked for everybody, though. It’s been a long time coming. I was really excited to know that all of our shows are actually part of the MCU now.”
‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ Is The Biggest Movie Of The Year

As Dawson mentioned, the first official trailer for “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” shattered viewership records, with a billion views in its first four days of release. Now, since the movie has arrived in theaters, it has become the most successful of 2026 and of all time.
According to BoxOfficeMojo, the Holland-led and Destin Daniel Cretton-directed film has surpassed $1.6 billion at the global box office. Of that total, well over $600 million came from US screens.
Rosario Dawson Has Multiple Projects In The Works

Dawson has several films and television appearances in various stages of development. The first of the bunch is “Campeón Gabacho,” which had its world premiere at SXSW in March 2026. As of writing, the release date hasn’t been announced, but it’s expected to arrive this year.
According to Deadline, Dawson will also appear in Danny Ramirez‘s “Baton,” which IMDb lists as being in post-production and releasing in 2026.

Matt Damon’s Daughter Signs For IMG Models
Matt Damon‘s daughter would be strutting down the runway soon!
The Oscar-winning actor’s second daughter has reportedly signed with IMG Models, joining the list of celebrity kids at the fashion powerhouse. Isabella Damon, along with other Hollywood stars’ kids, is set to feature in the upcoming New York Fashion Week.
Matt Damon shares four daughters with his wife, Luciana Barroso, whom he married in 2005. Over the years, the actor has gushed about his girls, noting the joys of being a girl dad.

IMG Models has snagged a beauty! The 20-year-old daughter of Hollywood icon Matt and his Argentinian-American film producer Luciana is reportedly the newest member of the fashion powerhouse.
Singing with the legendary modeling agency is a huge move for Isabella as she steps into the world of fashion on a prestigious stage. The actor’s daughter stands as tall as popular models Cara Delevingne and Sara Sampaio.
After graduating from high school in Brooklyn, the 5’8 model enrolled at New York University in 2024, seemingly walking in the footsteps of fellow models including Leni Klum, Karlie Kloss, and Christie Turlington.
IMG Models has set a name for itself in the industry. The agency, established in 1987, has launched the careers of supermodels such as Hailey Bieber, Ashley Graham, Gigi Hadid, and Bella Hadid, according to Page Six.
Isabella Damon Has The Looks, Brains, And Personality

The Gen-Z student known to her friends as Bella is reportedly academically gifted and has a great sense of humor. According to interviews with her father, she wastes no time roasting his career any chance she gets.
She previously kept referring to an action movie Matt starred in as “The Wall” instead of “The Great Wall.” When corrected, Isabella sprinkled her pixie dust of humor, saying, “Dad, there is nothing great about that movie.” Isabella joining the fashion house at this time couldn’t be any more perfect as New York Fashion Week kicks off on Thursday, Sept.10.
She would not be alone in the Hollywood-kid niche as IMG Models has also reportedly signed Romeo Beckham (son of Victoria and Sir David Beckham), Kai Schreiber (daughter of Naomi Watts and Liv Schreiber) and Iris Law (daughter of Sadie Frost and Jude Law).
Matt Damon’s Model Daughter Is One Of His Toughest Critics

Matt previously disclosed that of all his daughters, Isabella grew up to be a tough critic of his acting career but still “one of the funniest people” he has ever met. He shared that she watches movies he’s featured in based on the terrible reviews, mostly to pick out things she may use to troll her father.
“If the reviews come out and they’re terrible, then she’ll watch it,” he told E! News of whether or not Isabella has seen his films. “If they come out and they’re good, she’s going to pass… She’s looking for ammunition all the time.”
The father-daughter duo has built a special bond. The “Interstellar” star noted that seeing her leave for college two years ago was a “surreal” moment for him. Matt bonds with his four daughters in their own special ways, but one means he uses for the whole family is traveling with them all over the world as he works on various projects.
Why The Actor Got ‘Teary’ At ‘The Odyssey’ Premiere

Matt was joined by his wife, Luciana, and their daughters, Alexia, Isabella, Gia, and Stella, at the London premiere of “The Odyssey.” He spoke to PEOPLE, revealing why he felt “really excited” for his daughters to see all the hard work he put into his lead role as Odysseus on screen.
He stated that it felt “great” to celebrate his new movie release, with his family by his side, before recalling how he spent long periods away from them while shooting the Christopher Nolan film. “It’s great because they had to sacrifice a lot too for this,” he recalled before admitting that seeing his daughters all grown up made him emotional.
Matt explained that although it was wonderful to see his four girls grown up standing by his side, it felt a bit overwhelming to be hit by the realization that time is passing. “Everybody’s so grown up. Like, I got a real dad teary moment seeing them today,” Matt said in a separate interview.
Matt Damon’s Take On His Daughters In The Dating Pool

E! News shared that the Hollywood icon has approved many of the suitors who have come for each of his daughters. He praised their dating game, saying that his girls “have very wonderful tastes.”
Matt added that he is pretty kind to his daughters’ suitors but will waste no time flipping the script if need be. He disclosed that he has the same approach to his daughters’ dates as his fellow Oscar winner Sean Penn.
Penn previously threatened his daughter, Dylan Penn’s childhood boyfriend, before their date, telling him, “Whatever you do to her, I’m gonna do to you when you get home.” Matt shared that the line had become his favorite to rile up his daughters’ suitors whenever he felt the need.
Will Matt Damon’s daughter’s modeling debut be as epic as his recent movie?

5 Hard Sci-Fi Books That Are Perfectly Written
Hard sci-fi has a reputation problem. Say the phrase out loud, and most people picture a 700-page brick full of equations, where the plot stops every 20 pages so the author can explain how a fusion drive works. Greg Egan‘s Diaspora gets brought up constantly for burying its plot under pages of theoretical physics that read like a textbook. William Gibson‘s Neuromancer is a genre-defining classic, but plenty of readers admit they feel lost trying to keep up with its dense, jargon-heavy prose.
But hard sci-fi doesn’t have to feel like homework. The best books in the genre are filled with real science, but they never make you feel like you need a degree just to keep up. That’s the sweet spot these five books hit.
1
‘Project Hail Mary’ (2021)
The movie adaptation was easily one of the best films of 2026, but its biggest criticism was that it had to leave out much of the book’s fascinating scientific problem-solving. The novel lets you live inside Ryland Grace’s thought process, and that is where it truly shines. For example, the movie has Grace (Ryan Gosling) simply look out a window and realize he’s in space. In the novel, he slowly notices that something feels wrong. While climbing a ladder, he realizes his body doesn’t move quite the way he expects.
Then he starts running experiments. He drops objects and times how long they take to hit the floor with a stopwatch, and he realizes the gravity is all wrong. After that, he builds a pendulum to calculate the acceleration. From those results, he figures out that the gravity inside the ship is actually being created by constant acceleration. And that is how he realizes he isn’t on Earth at all, but aboard a spacecraft that is continuously under thrust. It’s a brilliant sequence, and moments like that are everywhere in the novel. The movie is a masterpiece in its own right, but if you loved it, the book is even better.
2
‘The Three-Body Problem’ (2006)
This is the first novel in Liu Cixin‘s Remembrance of Earth’s Past trilogy, and it covers first contact, game theory, the physics of higher-dimensional space, and the long, unsettling arc of what happens when two civilizations discover each other across light-years. The first book is also the most grounded of the three. It follows a young astrophysicist in 1960s China who watches her father get killed during the Cultural Revolution. Embittered with humanity, she eventually uses the sun as a massive amplifier to broadcast a message deep into space, calling out to any alien civilization willing to either save or conquer Earth.
Decades later, the story focuses on nanotechnologist Wang Miao, who starts seeing a mysterious countdown overlaid across his vision no matter where he looks. At the same time, some of the world’s most prominent physicists start committing suicide, seemingly because the fundamental laws of physics have stopped making sense to them. Liu won the Hugo Award for Best Novel in 2015 for this book, and it was the first translated novel ever to do it!
3
‘Ready Player One’ (2011)
Ernest Cline‘s novel is set in 2045, in a dystopian version of America where most people spend their waking hours inside the OASIS, a massive virtual reality universe. When OASIS creator James Halliday dies, he leaves behind an Easter egg hidden somewhere inside the simulation, along with the promise that whoever finds it inherits his fortune and total control of the OASIS. Teenager Wade Watts becomes obsessed with cracking the puzzle, which means obsessively studying every piece of 1980s pop culture that Halliday loved growing up.
Steven Spielberg made a fantastic movie out of this, but like any novel-to-movie adaptation, a lot of the coolest details had to be left out. The novel describes how, to log in safely without wasting scarce real-world resources, Wade uses a modified exercise bike to generate his own electricity. The challenges themselves are far more elaborate too, including a full playthrough of the Dungeons & Dragons module “Tomb of Horrors” and a 3D recreation of the text adventure Zork, along with flick syncs, which are basically movie-karaokes where players have to mentally step into a movie and act out every line and movement of the protagonist to pass specific gates.
4
‘We Are Legion (We Are Bob)’ (2016)
Bob Johansson dies in a car accident and wakes up 117 years later as an AI running inside a space probe. Dennis E. Taylor‘s premise is already absurd before the story turns Bob into humanity’s best shot at surviving whatever comes next. Because Bob can replicate himself, the “legion” of the title ends up being dozens of versions of the same guy, each one drifting off to explore the galaxy with a slightly different personality shaped by their own experiences.
Taylor gets into real hard sci-fi concepts, like scanning a human brain and mapping its neural pathways into a matrix to create a sentient digital copy or turning raw space rocks into functioning manufacturing plants using automated 3D printers and molecular assemblers. He also spends real time on interstellar travel physics and the biology of alien ecosystems Bob encounters along the way. But none of these big concepts ever weigh the story down, because Bob is always having fun, cracking jokes and dropping movie references no matter how dire things get. If you love the tone of Andy Weir’s books like The Martian or Project Hail Mary, this is the closest thing you’ll find that scratches that same itch.
5
‘Seveneves’ (2015)
Seveneves opens with the moon breaking apart for no explained reason, and calculations quickly reveal that within two years, the debris will trigger a “Hard Rain” that bombards Earth’s surface for the next 5,000 years. The book breaks down the terrifying physics of orbital decay — how the hard rain will boil all the oceans and destroy the Earth’s atmosphere, instantly wiping out all life on the planet. The rest of the novel is about what humanity actually does with those two years.
It is full of petty politics and hard sci-fi concepts, real rocket-science math like calculating changes in velocity, gravity assists, perigee, and apogee to move ships, as well as the repurposing of the International Space Station into a modular habitat, while dealing with constraints like zero-gravity living and solar radiation shielding. The back half of the book becomes a fascinating exploration of what it would actually take to rebuild a species from a handful of people and the challenges that come with it, like the mathematics of engineering human diversity using frozen genomes. It’s a bleak book in places, but one that fully commits to the science behind the story.

Michael Fishman Slams Roseanne Reboot Cancellation Claim
Roseanne star Michael Fishman has defended ABC’s decision to cancel the show’s reboot after its star notoriously posted a racist tweet.
“Sadly, in this case, there was no joke and the show was rightfully cancelled,” Fishman, 44, said in a Tuesday, August 11, Instagram video that reacted to a fan comment that defended Roseanne Barr’s March 2018 post. “Good people make mistakes. And I love the one who made this mistake. I always will. I will always have compassion and love. And I’ve shown it continuously. And she helped the world understand that good people can make mistakes. But there was no joke.”
Fishman, who played D.J. Conner on the original Roseanne sitcom that aired from 1988 to 1997, spoke in direct reference to a comment that began, “The reboot got cancelled because Roseanne made the usual jokes a comedian makes but America decided to backstab Roseanne.”
The show’s revival ran on ABC for nine episodes before the tweet from Barr, 73, abruptly ended the reboot. (The since-deleted tweet targeted Valerie Jarrett, a former senior advisor to former president Barack Obama. Barr later apologized for the tweet, stating that it was a joke “in bad taste.”)
Fishman’s video further argued that his former costar’s words caused “damage and dehumanizing [through] perpetuating racial tropes.” He also concluded, “The only people who were backstabbed were the people who were targeted by the statements and those who became collateral damage from it.”
Hours after Barr’s tweet was shared, ABC Entertainment president Channing Dungey announced in a statement, “Roseanne’s Twitter is abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values, and we have decided to cancel our show.”
The cancellation attracted commentary at the time from multiple members of the Roseanne cast including Fishman. “Today is one of the hardest in my life. I feel devastated, not for the end of the Roseanne show, but for all those who poured their hearts and souls into our jobs, and the audience that welcomed us into their homes,” he tweeted at the time. “Our cast, crew, writers and production staff strived for inclusiveness, with numerous storylines designed to reflect inclusiveness. The words of one person do not exemplify the thinking of all involved.”
His initial statement continued, “I condemn these statements vehemently. They are reprehensible and intolerable, contradicting my beliefs and outlook on life and society. We must stand up against; bias, hatred, bigotry and ignorance to make society a better place for all.”
One day after ABC cancelled the Roseanne reboot, Barr took to Twitter again to write the since-deleted explanation, “It was 2 in the morning and I was ambien tweeting — it was memorial day too — i went too far and do not want it defended — it was egregious [and] indefensible. I made a mistake I wish I hadn’t but … don’t defend it please.”

Emile Hirsch Pranks Fans With Fake James Bond Casting
The race to find the next James Bond continues to fuel plenty of speculation, with fans eager to learn who will inherit the iconic role. While several actors have been linked to the character, no official successor has been announced as yet.
Amid the ongoing buzz, Emile Hirsch decided to have a little fun with the uncertainty, leaving fans briefly wondering whether he had landed the role.
The search for the next James Bond has become one of Hollywood’s biggest casting mysteries, with fans waiting for official news since Daniel Craig‘s final appearance as the suave secret agent in “No Time To Die,” released in 2021.
On August 10, Emile Hirsch took to social media and posted a letter, seemingly sent by Eon Productions, the British company formerly in charge of the James Bond franchise. It detailed the company’s supposed interest in hiring Hirsch to be the next 007 due to his “compelling presence,” “intellect,” and “intensity.”
Reading further, however, it became apparent that the letter was a prank. “Mr. Hirsch’s shorter stature presents a unique opportunity. It would enable the studio to explore a crossover production in which James Bond is transported to the Shire and goes undercover to locate terrorist hobbits,” the letter read.
In closing, it noted that the letter was “private and confidential.” Hirsch captioned the post, “HOLY SH-T.” Despite the obvious joke, some believed it to be real, seemingly without reading the entire letter.
The Actor Shared A Follow-Up Post
On August 11, the “Into the Wild” actor shared another fake letter, in which the author expressed “extreme displeasure” over Hirsch leaking the offer for the role.
Moreover, the message noted that Hirsch’s fans had been “judgmental” about the James Bond/Lord of the Rings crossover idea, which the author described as “nothing short of hurtful.”
“Let’s be clear: MGM owns the rights to both worlds. This wasn’t some fan-fiction fantasy. We had real viability to build a new franchise — one with scale, legacy, and global appeal. The proposed title was 007: Return of The Short King,” it read.
The author then suggested that Hirsch consult a “leg break extender surgeon” to increase his height. In another post, Hirsch took the gag further and posted a digitally altered photo of himself with legs stretched to an exaggerated length, making him appear as if he’s standing on stilts.
The Search For The New James Bond Is Underway
I genuinely enjoy all the actors who have portrayed James Bond. That being said, here’s where things stand after some consideration.
1. Daniel Craig
2. Sean Connery
3. Timothy Dalton
4. Roger Moore
5. Pierce Brosnan
6. George Lazenby pic.twitter.com/J5MfBv67OG— DoubleOKevin (@KevBot_007) December 8, 2021
Six actors have portrayed James Bond under Eon Productions: Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan, and Daniel Craig.
In 2015, after filming “Spectre,” his fourth movie as Bond, Craig expressed his desire to leave the character behind, saying he would rather slash his wrists than do another James Bond film, per Time Out London. However, he returned for one final movie because he wanted his story arc to conclude.
In the years that followed, corporate changes, transitions within the franchise, and plans to reboot the character further delayed the search for Craig’s successor. In May, however, Amazon MGM Studios, which now has full creative control over the franchise, announced they have begun auditions for James Bond, as reported by Variety.
Celebrities Rumored To Play 007
In the last few years, several names have been floated as potential contenders for the role of James Bond, including Tom Holland, Callum Turner, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Paul Mescal, and Jack Lowden, along with several others.
Idris Elba, who was a fan-favorite to play Bond, confirmed that he was never in the running to begin with, as previously reported by The Blast. Henry Cavill was another name mentioned online, but the actor, who previously auditioned for the role but lost it to Craig, said he would rather play a Bond villain.
According to multiple reports, the next MI6 agent likely won’t be an established star, as producers are leaning toward a lesser-known or rising actor.
The New James Bond May Be Named Before The End Of 2026
In August, producer Amy Pascal said that Craig “is a hard act to follow,” adding that she, together with casting director Nina Gold, fellow producer David Heyman, and director Denis Villeneuve, are being “methodical” about their search.
“It’s got to be something really different that is a stirring and exciting and different,” Pascal told Deadline. While she didn’t elaborate further, she did say that the new James Bond may be revealed this year. “I would say the end of the year is a good bet,” she confirmed.

Tallulah Willis’ Wedding Gown Hid Sweet Tribute To Mom
For Tallulah Willis, her wedding dress was more than a spectacular piece of couture. Every detail carried a personal connection, from the shape inspired by something her mother Demi Moore once wore to the Idaho setting where Tallulah spent part of her childhood.
Moore recently gave fans a glimpse behind the scenes, sharing intimate photographs from her daughter’s final fitting and reflecting on the emotional moments leading up to the ceremony.
By the time Tallulah walked down the aisle, the Balenciaga gown had become a meeting point for family history, fashion and an extraordinary amount of craftsmanship.

Moore offered a glimpse into the preparations for Tallulah Willis’ wedding by sharing a carousel of photographs from the bride’s final dress fitting on Instagram on Tuesday.
The images captured the proud mom helping her youngest daughter with the veil as Tallulah tried on the custom Balenciaga gown, surrounded by family and close friends.
One of the photos featured Tallulah the stunning dress, receiving a kiss on the cheek from her mom. “A glimpse into my beloved Tallulah’s wedding dress fitting,” Moore captioned the post.
“All the tender moments leading up to her beautiful day are forever etched in my heart. So grateful we were able to share this precious event together as a family.”
Moore also expressed gratitude to designer Pierpaolo Piccioli, who created the custom gown for Tallulah and helped bring her bridal vision to life.
The fitting itself became a family occasion, with Moore, Tallulah’s sisters Rumer and Scout Willis, and Moore’s longtime stylist Brad Goreski all present.
Moore’s Wedding Post Draws Emotional Reactions From Fans
Moore’s intimate glimpse at Tallulah Willis’ wedding preparations prompted fans to celebrate not only the bride’s stunning gown but also the family memories surrounding the occasion.
One commenter expressed hope that Tallulah’s dad Bruce Willis was able to share in the moment, writing, “What a beautiful dress huge Congratulations I hope Bruce was able to see the dress & participate in some way.”
Another praised Moore’s daughters as “remarkable persons,” while congratulating the actress and calling her “a great mother and a fantastic actor.”
Other followers focused on Tallulah’s future, with one writing, “Oh my god this is so beautiful and exciting-sending so much love and wishing her a life of happiness and blessings.”
Tallulah Willis’ Balenciaga Gown Was A Tribute To Moore
The most personal element of Tallulah’s wedding dress was hiding in plain sight: its sculptural neckline was inspired by a look worn by her mother.
The 32-year-old’s gown featured a curved neckline based on a black sheath Moore wore to the Vanity Fair Oscar party earlier this year. The reference gave the bridal design a subtle connection between mother and daughter without turning it into a literal recreation.
The original gown design had a straight neckline, but Tallulah wanted something more distinctive. “I just thought, wouldn’t it be so beautiful to have no necklace and nothing up here, but just the shape,” she told British Vogue during her final fitting.
Piccioli designed the strapless silk satin column gown with a dramatic draped skirt gathered at the hips, a long train and a structured bow at the back. Tallulah said the bow was intended to make her look “like a package that was being unwrapped.”
She finished the look with a floor-length veil, pear-shaped diamond drop earrings and a chignon with loose pieces framing her face.
Warm, fresh makeup completed the ensemble that combined a classic bridal silhouette with deliberately sculptural details.
Tallulah’s Wedding Dress Took 712 Hours Of Couture Craftsmanship
The personal meaning behind the gown was matched by the extraordinary amount of work required to create it.
According to Vogue, the Balenciaga atelier spent 712 hours making Tallulah Willis’s dress, with another nine hours devoted specifically to the veil.
Some of the gown’s smallest details demanded an extraordinary investment of time. Each beaded organza petal required approximately 60 hours to hand-embroider and apply, making the finished gown the result of hundreds of hours of painstaking craftsmanship.
The final fitting took place at the Chateau Marmont shortly before Tallulah and Acee’s Idaho ceremony.
The finished gown was eventually revealed during Tallulah’s outdoor wedding, where her sisters played another important role in the visual story.
Rumer and Scout served as bridesmaids in matching strapless mint-green dresses, complementing the romantic setting without competing with Tallulah’s couture look.
Tallulah Willis Marries Justin Acee In Intimate Idaho Wedding
Tallulah tied the knot with musician Justin Acee in an intimate wedding ceremony in Sun Valley, Idaho, on Saturday, August 8, surrounded by family, friends and several Hollywood names.
The outdoor ceremony took place in a woodland setting decorated with gilded mirrors, topiary and large floral arrangements, creating a whimsical atmosphere for the couple’s big day.
Among the reported guests were Moore’s “Charlie’s Angels” co-star Lucy Liu, actor Andrew Garfield, designer Zac Posen and Ali Larter.
Following the ceremony, guests gathered for dinner at long tables decorated with dusty pink roses and mismatched crockery.
Afterward, speeches gave way to music from DJ Samantha Ronson, while Moore was seen spending time around the lounge areas near the dance floor.
Unfortunately, Bruce Willis was reportedly absent from the ceremony due to his ongoing battle with dementia.

Cindy Crawford & Richard Gere’s Kids Working Together
Cindy Crawford and Richard Gere‘s children are proof that the past does not disrupt the future!
The couple, one of Hollywood’s biggest in the 90s, made headlines during their relationship, which lasted less than a decade. The pair raised eyebrows with the significant age gap between them, which ultimately contributed to their split.
Over three decades later, Cindy Crawford and Richard Gere’s names are back in the spotlight. This time, not just for themselves but thanks to their children, who now work together.
Kaia Gerber and Homer Gere were serving looks, poise, and glam as they posed together for a recent Vogue cover issue. The nepo babies channeled their famous parents, who also did Vogue photoshoots together 34 years ago at the peak of their relationship.
In case you didn’t know, Gerber’s mom, Crawford, was married to Homer’s father from 1991 to 1995 when they were making big splashes in Hollywood. The industry stars have since moved on to other relationships and welcomed their respective children.
In his first big interview, Homer told Vogue how they addressed the issue of their parents’ doomed romance. He recalled that they met at a Los Angeles watering hole where he outright asked if they should “address the fact that our parents were married.” The matter did not linger on between them as Gerber simply responded, “Yeah. Cool,” and that was it.
Is This Pairing Destiny or Déjà Vu?
The matter that Homer and Gerber simply put to bed in just two sentences continues to dwell on the minds and tongues of many. Ryan Murphy cast the pair for his new show “The Shards,” which he co-created with acclaimed novelist Bret Easton Ellis.
Homer confessed that being placed alongside his father’s ex’s daughter in the show probably “seems too on the nose,” according to The Daily Mail.
Being photographed together for the Vogue cover is also a full-circle Hollywood moment. The nepo babies found themselves in front of Steven Meisel’s camera nearly 34 years after their parents made the magazine’s cover for the November 1992 issue.
Crawford and Richard’s Vogue cover was shot by the legendary Herb Ritts, at whose home the couple was first introduced during a barbecue in the late 1980s.
Gerber’s resemblance to her mom in their new cover is quite uncanny, shining through her bright smile and dark hair. Homer, on the other hand, has Richard’s casual swag, channeling 1990s fashion with his blue jeans, dress shirt, blazer, and tie.
‘The Shards’ Casting Brought The Entertainers To See Its ‘A Small Word’

Who would have thought that, of all the stars in Hollywood to be featured on the drama series, Crawford and Richard’s children would get the part? Entertainment Weekly detailed that “The Shards” is set in 1981 and follows a group of Los Angeles prep school students who must navigate a friendship with a mysterious newcomer while trying to avoid the grip of a vicious serial killer.
The rising progenies of Hollywood big names got to work together on the project series that missed their parents’ marriage by nearly a decade. At the movie premiere, Gerber expressed her excitement to meet Richard, describing the casting as “such a small world.”
Homer talked about the casting at the premiere as well, explaining that the odds were very funny. He also praised his costar for her phenomenal job in the serial killer thriller. “She’s a lovely actress and person, and we’ve gotten really close. So it’s been really a pleasure to work with her,” the actor gushed.
Kaia Gerber And Homer Gere Have A Good Working Relationship
The rising star’s failed parents’ romance has got nothing on them as they work to pave their own paths in the industry. The pair had never met prior to being cast alongside each other in the 2026 coming-of-age thriller despite their parent’s history.
Homer exclusively told E! News that they met at a bar about two weeks before the cameras started rolling. The movie stars hung out with other cast members, which marked the beginning of a friendship and a harmonious working relationship.
Gerber also spoke highly of Homer, sharing that it had been a lovely experience working with him on the project. Their bond transcended mere coworkers into a beautiful friendship their parents’ doomed past has no hold on.
“He’s so wonderful. He’s so funny. He makes me laugh so hard, and he’s the greatest scene partner ever. And really, it’s such a supportive environment, and we’ve gotten so close over this process,” the model told media outlets about her costar.
Inside Cindy Crawford And Richard Gere’s Whirlwind Romance
Crawford was an acclaimed supermodel in the 90s when she met Richard, who was already an A-lister in Hollywood. The pair met at a mutual friend’s party in 1988 when the model was just 21, and Richard was well into his 30s.
Crawford admitted to being starstruck when she met Gere for the first time. They bonded over conversation and shared likes before they rose to become one of Hollywood’s power couples in their time.
Despite wagging tongues, particularly about their 17-year age gap, the former lovebirds stepped out together for different public events, turning heads.
They eloped in 1991 to Las Vegas and secretly tied the knot with aluminum foil rings at the altar. Crawford recalled it as a spontaneous decision, revealing that she did not even get a wedding dress.
As reported by InStyle, their union ended in 1995, and the model maintains their union was short-lived due to their age difference and very busy schedules.
Will Cindy Crawford and Richard Gere’s past romance ever affect their kids?

Steve Burton’s Ex-Wife Sheree Denies Alienating Daughter
Steve Burton’s ex-wife, Sheree Burton, is firing back at claims she is alienating the soap star from his daughter Brooklyn following the former couple’s 2022 divorce.
In court documents obtained by Us on Tuesday, August 11, Sheree, 49, requested a judge allow her to move to Tennessee from California, despite Steve’s relocation back to the west coast in recent months.
Sheree alleged in the August 6 filing that their 12-year-old daughter, Brooklyn, “has her own iPad,” which she said “enables her to communicate with father freely via calls, texts and Facetime.”
“Despite father’s claims, she had this same access previously and was not restricted from father,” Sheree declared in the docs.
Sheree acknowledged that she and Steve — who also share adult children Makena, 22, and Jack, 20 — have “poor” communication.
However, she noted the General Hospital star’s messages are allegedly “full of accusations that do not match the reality of the situation such as accusing mother of alienation because she is following the orders he agreed to.”
According to Sheree — who was married to Steve for 23 years before their 2022 split — he signed a “new custody schedule” before deciding to move to Tennessee in February. (The former spouses’ current order gives Steve, 56, time with Brooklyn “one weekend a month when school resumes” and previously entailed him seeing his child once a month while living in separate states.)

Sheree alleged in the August filing that the actor’s relocation was the “second time he moved cross country without Brooklyn,” explaining that she signed a “stipulation” she thought was in her daughter’s “best interest.”
The aforementioned stipulation allowed for Brooklyn to have “frequent and continuing contact” with Steve while she enjoyed her primary residence with Sheree in Orange County, California.
According to the docs, Steve and Sheree “disagreed” over the stipulation details, which Sheree claimed led Steve to go back to court.
Around the time that the exes started mediation, Steve “announced he and his family were moving back to California,” which he allegedly said was to be “near Brooklyn.”
Sheree noted in her filing that she “agreed” to Steve’s requests for time with his daughter over the summer, but claimed that the Young and the Restless actor’s plans on his move “continued to change.”
She further alleged that Steve “does not yet have a stable residence in California,” which Sheree told the judge should help her case as Brooklyn’s primary caretaker.

Sheree argued that although her own proposed move to Tennessee “would be a change” for Brooklyn, she claimed she is the “stable parent and always has been.”
Sheree — who also shares two daughters with husband Jason Amador — added that Brooklyn shouldn’t be “ordered” to stay in California where her primary care would fall to her stepmother, Michelle Lundstrom. (Steve married Lundstrom, 44, in May 2025.)
According to the filing, Sheree “believes it more likely that [Steve] would also return to Tennessee, rendering this RFO moot as well.”
Sheree further claimed that Steve is complicating her desire to move to Tennessee amid his own “unstable living decisions.”
Sheree’s attorney alleged in the filing, “She was hoping he would be honest and reasonable, but in the absence of that coparenting, she is turning to the courts.”

Friend of Malcolm-Jamal Warner’s Widow Launches GoFundMe
A close friend of Malcolm-Jamal Warner‘s widow, Tenisha Warner, made a GoFundMe on her behalf amid the legal battle over the late actor’s estate.
“I have been Tenisha Warner’s closest friend for 19 years,” Tenisha’s friend Destiny Rael wrote in the introduction of the GoFundMe, which was created on Tuesday, August 11. “I am the one who first brought her and Malcolm-Jamal Warner together, and I have been beside her through everything since his tragic passing.”
Rael explained that she organized the page because she has “witnessed, up close, the depth of Tenisha’s grief and the weight she has had to carry” and knows that her friend would not ask for support.
“I know that Malcolm is beloved by so many, and his fans are grieving his loss. I can tell you what most people never see,” Rael continued. “I have watched Tenisha spend this year grieving the love of her life while honoring the promise they made to each other, to homeschool their nine-year-old daughter. Every single day she shows up for her child as though her own world had not fallen apart, and still makes sure breakfast is on the table.”
Rael shared that she was by Tenisha’s side when she returned home following Malcolm-Jamal’s tragic death. In July 2025, the Cosby Show alum died at age 54 after being caught in a riptide in Costa Rica during the family’s vacation.
Rael also revealed that the house had an “unexpected flooding” upon Tenisha’s return.
“She is rebuilding not only her life without him, but the very home they created together,” she wrote. “Every room holds their memories, with no space to truly mourn, because the demands have never paused: legal matters that began within weeks of Malcolm’s passing, financial weight carried alone, a house to put back together, and their daughter to care for every single day. She has stretched every resource she has and borrowed from people who love her just to keep one foot in front of the other.”
Rael claimed that Malcolm-Jamal intended to “update his estate plan to provide for his wife and daughter, but he passed away before he could sign it.” She added that now that Tenisha, 48, is a “single mom,” she “carries the cost of resolving Malcolm’s estate alone because asking for help does not come naturally to her.”
“That is why the people who love her have launched this campaign: to help Tenisha honor Malcolm’s wishes and his legacy while providing stability for their daughter, his only child, and the family he loved most,” Rael wrote.
Proceeds from the GoFundMe “will help ease the financial strain, cover the expenses she is now facing, and provide security for Tenisha and her daughter as they work toward resolving Malcolm’s affairs.” The goal of the fundraiser is $40,000.
Rael made it clear she is “asking anyone to take sides in a family matter” amid the ongoing legal battle between Tenisha and her mother-in-law, Pamela Warner.
“I am asking you to stand with a grieving wife and mother, and her young daughter, so they don’t lose what Malcolm always intended to provide for them,” she continued. “Every contribution, no matter the amount, makes a meaningful difference. If you are not able to give, sharing this page and keeping Tenisha and her daughter in your thoughts is a powerful gesture of support. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
News broke earlier this year that Tenisha filed a lawsuit against Pamela for a prenuptial dispute one year after Malcolm-Jamal died. (Pamela, who previously served as her son’s manager, is the successor trustee of the Warner Family Trust, which Malcolm-Jamal set up in 1996.)
According to court documents obtained by Us in July, Tenisha argued that she is entitled to more than $1.2 million from the trust. Tenisha claimed that the sum is the equivalent of what Malcolm-Jamal had promised her as part of their May 2022 premarital agreement.
While Pamela has not addressed the lawsuit directly, she seemingly hinted at the drama the day the documents were filed in court.
“During my year long journey, I have discovered how cruel, evil and greedy a human can be,” Pamela wrote via Facebook and on the Malcolm Jamal-Warner Living Legacy page via Instagram to mark the first anniversary of her son’s death. “I have also discovered the depth of love, care, concern and support that humans are capable of. All of which I have been the recipient of. The good, the bad and the ugly. These are the lessons that apparently I will need as I continue my journey.”

Netflix’s The Sticks Bashed by Humboldt Bus Tragedy Parents
Netflix’s upcoming hockey drama series The Sticks has been criticized by parents connected to 2018’s fatal Humboldt Broncos bus crash.
“From what I’m assuming, where they’re going with this is: bus crashes, hockey players die, wife picks up the team and brings them back to glory,” Scott Thomas, a father from Saskatchewan, Canada, who lost his son, Evan, in the tragedy, told local news outlet SaskNow in January. “And in the end, everybody’s happy. That’s just complete trash. That’s not what happened to us. At all.”
The opinions of Thomas, and other families impacted by the crash that killed 16 people including many from the Humboldt Broncos junior ice hockey team, resurfaced this week after Netflix released behind-the-scenes photos of The Sticks via X on Tuesday, August 11. The series will be released by the streamer in 2027.
Per a January report by The Canadian Press, Netflix told the outlet via an email at the time that The Sticks is “fictional and not inspired by any real-life event.”
Us has reached out to Netflix for further comment.
According to a Tudum by Netflix article published on Tuesday, The Sticks is set in South Dorothy, Minnesota, where “hockey is everything — until a tragic loss knocks the legs out from under the high school’s legendary team.”
Further detail about The Sticks read, “After tragedy shatters a small Minnesota hockey town, a grieving wife steps behind the bench of the team her husband built, guiding a found family of wounded young athletes through a season of loss, love, and rivalry that will decide whether South Dorothy has anything left to believe in, and who will lead it into its next chapter.”

The Canadian Press also spoke to Michelle Straschnitzki, whose son Ryan was left paralyzed from the chest down after a semi-trailer truck’s collision with the bus caused the Humboldt Broncos crash. “It does seem to sensationalize our own tragedy, but in a truly Hollywood fashion, they’re making it about them — their heartbreak, their loss, their rebuild,” Straschnitzki told the outlet. “They’re just out to make some money and make it their story, which is garbage.”
The mother added that she didn’t believe that The Sticks’ story is fictional.
“If you have been alive in the last eight years and you haven’t heard what happened on the grand scale that it was, across the world, then you’ve had your head in the sand,” she told the outlet at the time.
On April 6, 2018, 29 Humboldt Broncos team mates traveled northbound on a coach bus when a westbound truck went through a stop sign and hit the bus. Three months later, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police charged a 29-year-old man with 16 counts of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death and thirteen counts of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily injury. He pleaded guilty in January 2019 to all charges and was sentenced to eight years in prison, per Canada’s CBC.
He was granted full parole in 2023 and is currently residing in Canada while fighting a federal deportation order to return to his home country of India.
