Police responded to the scene and a cordon was put in place
Police have cordoned off a road in Cambridge. The police were called to Rustat Close in Cambridge on Thursday (December 18).
Multiple police cars along with armed police reportedly attended the scene, as seen in a photograph of the area. The East of England Ambulance service also attended.
Police tape has been placed to cordon off a section of the road. A police car was also used to block the road, as seen in a video submitted to CambridgeshireLive.
The police have confirmed they were called in response to concerns for the welfare of an individual. A spokesperson said there is no wider risk to the public.
