Rebecca Ferguson has been one of the biggest movie stars in the world for years now, but the last few years, she’s headlined some massive projects that have carried her stardom to new levels. Ferguson has picked up widespread acclaim on the big screen for her commanding performance as Lady Jessica in the Dune movies, and while she is confirmed to return for the third and final film later this year, she’s revealed she’ll only have one scene in the trilogy-capping sci-fi epic. Earlier this year, Ferguson also joined one of the biggest Netflix franchises ever with her dual role in Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man, the spin-off film that began streaming back in March. Her role in a future franchise project has not been confirmed, but she’s publicly stated a desire to come back and reprise her role.
While Rebecca Ferguson has starred in dozens of famous projects since the turn of the 2020s, few have done as much for her career as Silo, the Apple TV series in the heat of its third season. As new episodes of Silo continued to be released every week on Apple TV, the show no longer has anywhere to climb on global streaming charts, as it has officially reached #1 and looks poised to keep the spot until the conclusion of its third season. If someone in an elevator asked you to pitch them Silo before they got off a couple of floors, the cleanest pitch to give them would be Andor meets Lost. Both Silo and Andor center around slow-burning rebellions rising up against an oppressive group of “government” officials, but like Lost, it’s set in a dystopian world where its inhabitants have little to no idea what’s going on outside.
When Does ‘Silo’ Season 4 Come Out?
Apple TV has already confirmed that the fourth and final season of Silo will be released sometime next summer, marking the end of Ferguson’s critically acclaimed sci-fi series. Seasons 3 and 4 were shot back to back, which allows for no more two-year gaps between seasons. Silo Season 3 has been a smash hit with critics, but audiences haven’t been as hot on the show so far, with many long-time fans criticizing the memory loss storyline and the rehashing of past events happening in recent episodes.
Check out new episodes of Silo every week on Apple TV and stay tuned to Collider for more updates and coverage of Rebecca Ferguson’s future projects.
