90 Day’s Jenny, Sumit Give Candid Update on ALS Progression
90 Day Fiancé alum Jenny Slatten’s husband, Sumit Singh, is opening up about her ongoing ALS battle.
“Unfortunately, the ALS is progressing and now it’s starting showing more in her talking, like, it’s hard for her to talk now,” Sumit, 37, said in an Instagram video shared Sunday, August 30, after Jenny, 68, noted that she “can’t talk” much due to her illness.
Jenny and Sumit, who said “I do” on 2021’s season 3 finale of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, announced in May that she had been diagnosed with ALS, a degenerative nervous system disease that often leads to worsening muscle weakness. To date, there is no known cure.
In the couple’s Saturday update, Sumit noted that Jenny’s balance and ability to walk have also been affected.
“Earlier, she was doing good,” he said, noting that Jenny was diagnosed in December 2025. “It’s progressing, but we were thinking that we’d come to America … if we can get proper treatment. I always keep my hopes high, and I feel that America might have something better for Jenny and she can get at least a better support system.”
Jenny had relocated from the United States to Sumit’s native India when they got married. According to the TLC star, local Indian doctors and hospitals don’t have comparable studies or experience with the disease.
“It is getting weaker,” Sumit acknowledged, hoping that Jenny will soon receive a better and more robust “support system” as her symptoms progress. “Our plan was … to get the visa, and I’ll travel with Jenny and go [to America] and start the treatment.”
Sumit claimed that he has not yet been approved to receive a visa to the U.S., which is the reason why his wife hasn’t traveled back on her own to begin a treatment protocol.
“If I don’t get the visa, it means that we will be apart forever,” he speculated. “This is a reason Jenny doesn’t want to go to America without me.”
Jenny, for her part, noted that India is “my home” and that she didn’t want to leave the country without her spouse by her side.
“We love each other, and obviously, I want Jenny to start getting treated and I want Jenny to start feeling better or at least [have] a support system that makes [her] at least feel like, not, struggle every day,” Sumit said. “If [our relationship and medical plans] are not enough for the embassy in order for me to get a visa, I don’t know whatever situation or condition I will ever be approved.”
After watching fellow 90 Day alum Armando Neidermeier-Rubio “get help” in order to secure a visa, Sumit and Jenny are similarly asking for support. (Armando struggled to receive a medical visa to travel to the U.S. from Mexico after his 13-year-old daughter’s health scare. An immigration lawyer ultimately helped arrange the proper documents before his child’s recovery.)
“We’re sharing our appeal, what we’re asking for, and how you can help us during this difficult time,” Sumit’s caption read.

Sister Wives Alum Janelle Brown Shares New Pic of BF
Sister Wives alum Janelle Brown is continuing to share glimpses of her relationship with her new boyfriend following her split from reality TV polygamist Kody Brown.
“A beautiful evening by the water (this may be becoming a theme for us 😃),” Janelle, 57, wrote via Instagram on Sunday, August 30. “Had dinner while we watched the boats.”
Janelle also shared a photo of the pair smiling as they placed their arms around each other, posing on a dock beside boats.
Days earlier, Janelle unveiled her romance with her boyfriend and uploaded a selfie of the twosome.
“Some chapters are meant to unfold quietly before they’re shared,” she wrote via Instagram. “I wasn’t looking. I certainly wasn’t expecting you. And somehow, you turned out to be exactly what I didn’t know I needed. And it has been pretty wonderful. 🩷Everyone please meet Pete.”
Janelle previously tied the knot with Kody in 1993, while married to Meri Brown. Kody went on to wed Christine Brown and have a spiritual ceremony with Robyn Brown in 1994 and 2010, respectively. Kody legally divorced Meri in 2014 to legally marry Robyn and adopt her three children.
In 2021, Christine shared that she and Kody separated. One year later, Janelle announced that she and Kody had called it quits for months. Meri confirmed her own split from Kody in 2022. Robyn is still married to Kody.
Between his four partners, Kody has 18 children — one with Meri, six with Janelle, six with Christine and five with Robyn. (Janelle and Kody’s son Garrison died in 2024. He was 25.)
Earlier this month, Janelle reflected on a past version of herself and her previous relationship dynamic. At the time, she shared a selfie video of her at the beach.
“Have you ever wondered about what the version of you who second-guess everything would think of you now?” Janelle wrote over an August 20 Instagram video. “I think about her sometimes. The version of me who ran every decision past three people before she trusted it enough to move.”
“She would probably not even recognize the version of me who bought land without a plan, who changed course mid-week because it stopped feeling right, who doesn’t ask permission before making the call anymore,” Janelle continued. “I don’t think she’d think I got braver, necessarily. I think she’d just be relieved. Like she’d been waiting a long time for someone to finally believe her instead of everyone else.”

Kanye West Surfaces After Milo Yiannopoulos’ ICE Detainment
Kanye West appeared stone-faced while arriving in New Orleans with his wife, Bianca Censori, as controversy erupted over the ICE detention and deportation of his associate Milo Yiannopoulos. The 49-year-old rapper flew into the city ahead of his concert at Caesars Superdome, but reportedly made no mention of Yiannopoulos’ immigration situation while performing. Yiannopoulos, who previously served as West’s chief of staff and worked on the musician’s 2024 presidential campaign, was detained at a New Orleans airport before being returned to the United Kingdom.

West and Censori were seen arriving in New Orleans on Friday before being escorted to Caesars Superdome. The “Stronger” rapper sat in the back of a black vehicle wearing dark sunglasses. In photos obtained by the Daily Mail, West kept a serious expression as he was photographed entering the city.
The couple’s appearance came as Yiannopoulos’ detention was attracting national attention. According to TMZ, West did not address Yiannopoulos or the immigration controversy during his New Orleans concert. The rapper has also not been quoted publicly discussing his former chief of staff’s deportation.
Milo Yiannopoulos Detained At New Orleans Airport

Yiannopoulos was arrested Thursday at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport after getting off a flight. The Department of Homeland Security claimed that Yiannopoulos legally entered the United States in 2019 but “chose to overstay his welcome” and violated immigration laws.
According to the department, an immigration judge issued a final removal order against Yiannopoulos on July 22 after he failed to appear at his immigration hearing. “Being in detention is a choice,” DHS added while promoting a program offering undocumented migrants $3,000 and a flight to their country of origin if they self-deport.
Yiannopoulos was placed in a holding facility following his arrest. He has since returned to the United Kingdom.
Laura Loomer Claims Credit For The ICE Arrest

Conservative activist Laura Loomer publicly took credit for Yiannopoulos’ detention. “I have been saying this should happen for a long time and now it did,” she told The New York Times. Loomer also declared that Yiannopoulos had been “Loomered!”
The pair were once political allies but later experienced a public falling out. Former Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene subsequently became involved in the dispute after writing on X that Yiannopoulos had previously worked on Loomer’s political campaigns.
Loomer responded by accusing Greene of having her own connections to Yiannopoulos. “Milo Yiannopoulos is in ICE custody after I exposed his illegal alien lifestyle. Marjorie Traitor Greene hired Milo to work as her “intern” where he produced her podcast, wrote her book and lived at her house in Rome, Georgia before she sold it,” Loomer claimed on X.
Greene denied that Yiannopoulos had lived with her and called Loomer a “vile liar.”
Yiannopoulos Previously Supported Mass Deportations

Yiannopoulos’ deportation has attracted additional attention because of his previous support for stricter immigration policies and mass deportations. The British political commentator said in 2017 that he was living in the United States under an O-1 nonimmigrant visa.
According to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, that visa classification is available to people with an “extraordinary ability in the sciences, arts, education, business, or athletics.” DHS claims Yiannopoulos was initially admitted legally but later violated immigration laws by remaining in the country.
Milo Yiannopoulos Has Longstanding Ties To Kanye West

Yiannopoulos’ relationship with West extends beyond his role as the rapper’s publicist. He previously served as West’s chief of staff and worked as director of political operations during West’s 2024 presidential campaign.
Yiannopoulos was also formerly an editor at Breitbart, a right-wing publication where he gained widespread attention as a political commentator. His association with West continued after the rapper’s presidential effort, although the precise status of their current professional relationship was not detailed in the available report.
West’s decision not to mention the ICE detention during his concert leaves it unclear whether the rapper intends to address the situation publicly. There is no indication that West or Censori was involved in the circumstances surrounding Yiannopoulos’ detention.

Who Is Post Malone’s Fiancee? What to Know About Christy Lee
Post Malone, real name is Austin Richard Post, is officially off the market after the singer proposed to fashion stylist Christy Lee in August 2026 at his Utah ranch.
“A couple months before the proposal, Austin started casually slipping these very ‘hypothetical’ questions about rings into conversation, trying to figure out what I liked without giving himself away,” Lee recalled to Vogue. “One day, completely out of the blue, he asked me, ‘Pear, heart, or cushion?’ I told him I’d always thought there was something so chic about an oval.”
Cut to the big moment, Lee said that she was “speechless” when Malone knelt on bended knee with the 20-plus carat natural oval diamond ring of her dreams.
The rapper was previously engaged to Hee Sung “Jamie” Park, with whom he welcomed a daughter in 2022. The duo split in 2024, now sharing joint custody of their child whose name has never been publicly shared.
Keep scrolling to learn more about Lee:
Who Is Christy Lee?

Christy Lee works as a fashion stylist after previously studying at Parsons School of Design at the New School in New York. Her tight-knit friend circle includes model Brooke Donovan, Matthew Madonna, Phoebe Mckean and Siena Suder — all of whom documented the couple’s engagement via Instagram.
“My work is rooted in styling, visual storytelling, and building a strong point of view through clothes,” a biography on her website reads. “I started as an assistant to a celebrity stylist, working across red carpet events, Cannes, Venice, Paris Fashion Week, and brand campaigns for Bloomingdale’s and Retrofête.”
She added, “Through those experiences, I learned how much styling is about trust, taste, and understanding how someone wants to be seen. My work now focuses on personal styling, editorial direction, and creative projects that connect fashion with identity.”
Post Malone and Christy Lee’s Relationship Timeline
The pair were first romantically linked in January 2025 when they were seen leaving the Mascagni Hotel in Rome. The following March, Malone and Lee were spotted together at a bar in Idaho, months before traveling together through Paris in April 2025.
News broke in June 2025 that Malone and Lee had called it quits one month earlier, but the couple eventually quietly rekindled their romance ahead of the musician’s surprise proposal in August 2026.
Inside Post Malone’s Romantic Proposal
Lee broke her silence on the engagement in an interview with Vogue published August 28, 2026, sharing that Malone popped the question on August 17, 2026, at his new ranch in Utah.
“Austin first surprised me with a baby Highland cow, bunnies, and chickens,” Lee told the outlet, revealing that Malone also hosted an intimate dinner with her friends and parents.
“There was something so special about being at our ranch, surrounded by the people we love most and all of our new little animals,” Lee gushed to Vogue. “The whole evening felt incredibly intimate and personal. It was the most special moment of my life.”
Christy Lee’s 20-Plus Carat Engagement Ring
Lee’s custom engagement ring, designed by Angel City Jewelers, features a 20-plus carat natural oval diamond set on a thin gold band — exactly what Lee had described in those “hypothetical” conversations with Malone months earlier.
“When I saw it, I was honestly speechless,” Lee told Vogue. “He had somehow taken all of those little conversations and created exactly what I would have chosen for myself.”
Angel City Jewelers, owned by Isaac Bokhoor and Sam Tack, showed off the sparkler on Instagram days later, describing it as a “20+ carats immaculate stone.”
“Blessed to have been able to work on this for my brother @postmalone What a project!” the company wrote.
The jeweler previously collaborated with Malone on his Dallas Cowboys diamond-encrusted pendant necklace, reportedly worth $250,000, as well as his 23-carat diamond-encrusted pinky ring with a 5-carat emerald cut center stone.

How Much Donna Mills, 85, Made on OnlyFans in 1 Month
Knots Landing’s Donna Mills has reportedly made a substantial amount of money since joining OnlyFans just one month ago.
When Mills, 85, appeared on a Monday, August 24 episode of the “Creators Inc” podcast — which is produced by the OnlyFans management company, host and CEO Andy Bachman shared that the actress is “doing incredibly well” on the platform.
“Many six figures, and it’s been early,” Bachman said.
Mills, for her part, reflected on interacting with her fans in a different way through the platform.
“It’s really fun. I think the people that are going to come to me are probably different than the people that generally come to OnlyFans,” she explained. “I mean, I think some of the people are the same but I think there are new people. Hopefully I bring new people to this platform. It’s a treat for me to be able to interact with them.”
Mills theorized that her fans “want something different” from her than “most people on this platform.”
“They want to be friends. They want to know me. They want to know what I do during the day when I’m home. They want to see my home. They want to know much more about my personal life than we ever experienced back in the ’80s and the ’90s that the fans were cut off from,” she explained. “Now they’re invited in because of social media, because of the internet, all that. Now they’re invited in and they really like that.”
Mills made headlines in July when she announced that she would be joining the platform after appreciating the “incredible support and encouragement” from her fans through the years.
“Social media has been a wonderful way to stay connected, but I’m excited to join OnlyFans because it offers the opportunity for a more personal and direct connection,” Mills said in a statement to Variety at the time.
Mills explained that she would be “sharing moments from my daily life, behind-the-scenes glimpses, and engaging with fans in a more meaningful way” on OnlyFans.
“It’s simply another platform to spend quality time with the people who’ve supported me throughout my career while staying true to who I am,” she said.
Bachman, for his part, shared in a separate statement that Mills’ move is “not about changing who she is.”
“It is about giving her longtime fans more access to the personality, style and behind-the-scenes moments they already love,” Bachman said. “Donna has always been fearless and ahead of her time. She told me, ‘YOLO — let’s do it,’ and that perfectly captures her attitude. She is approaching OnlyFans on her own terms and creating a space that feels authentic, personal and completely true to her.”

Keke Palmer Blasted Over Pic With Diddy’s Sons
Keke Palmer typically stays out of trouble, but her latest Instagram post has drawn mixed reactions online. While celebrating her birthday, the “True Jackson, VP” actress shared a carousel of photos, including one of her posing with Diddy‘s sons, King and Justin Combs. In the caption, Palmer shared a heartwarming message, thanking them, along with others, for being there during some of her most precious milestones. Her post prompted some social media users to share their thoughts about her connection to the Combs family, particularly as Diddy remains behind bars following his 2025 conviction.
Palmer celebrated her 33rd birthday on August 26, giving fans a glimpse into her special day with a 20-slide photo dump on Instagram. The carousel opens with a photo of the actress posing alongside Justin and King Combs, with Palmer wrapping her arms tightly around both brothers as she flashes a wide smile at the camera.
“I’ve known most of these people 4EVER. They still show up for me! So happy spending my birthday with people that believe we deserve to share in happiness with one another,” she said in the caption.
“Life is too short not to be in community, I don’t need a reason to celebrate with my folks but a birthday will always remind you to show grace and gratitude for where you come from and where you’ve been, most importantly who you are today. Thankful to God! Another year,” she finished.
Keke Palmer Draws Mixed Reaction After Posing With Diddy’s Sons
Palmer’s photo caught the attention of her followers, with several taking to the comments to weigh in on her apparent connection to the Combs family.
“Baby, I flew first class to the comments,” someone wrote, while another said, “Not the little Diddlers.” A third user also chimed in and said, “The first pic was a choice,” and a fourth added, “Keke, that should’ve been slide 20. Maybe someone would’ve missed it.”
The reaction continued, as another user said, “There’s too much going on in the world for this to be the first slide, Lauren. Unfollow.” And another seemingly disappointed fan said, “Always on the wrong side of history.”
On X, formerly Twitter, the reaction was much of the same, as one user wrote, “Keke, try not to f–k up your image challenge,” and another said, “She can’t stop being a f–kup for one month. I promise all Virgos aren’t like this.”
Diddy’s Sons Begged For Mercy During His Father’s Sentencing

The reaction to Palmer spending time with Diddy’s sons comes a year after their father, a rap mogul, was sentenced to years in prison after being found guilty of violating the Mann Act.
In court, according to The Blast, Diddy’s son, Justin, begged the court for mercy and asked for his dad to be given a “second chance” at life.
Justin discussed how seeing his father “broken down and stripped of everything” negatively impacted him and his family, describing it as something he’d “never forget.”
Elsewhere in his statement, he told the judge that his father was a “changed man” and said that if he was given a chance, he’d prove it to the world.
His Sons Weren’t The Only Ones Pleading For Mercy

Diddy’s sons weren’t the only ones begging the judge for mercy. Before his sentencing, the Bad Boy exec penned a four-page letter to the court, acknowledging his wrongdoings and reflecting on the pain he caused others. He also opened up about the two-year legal battle, calling it “the hardest years of my life” before saying he had nobody to blame but himself.
“In my life, I have made many mistakes, but I am no longer running from them. I am so sorry for the hurt that I caused, but I understand that the mere words ‘I’m sorry’ will never be good enough, as these words alone cannot erase the pain from the past,” he continued.
What The Judge Told Diddy Before Sending Him To Prison

At the end of his summer 2025 trial, Judge Arun Subramanian sentenced the rapper to 50 months in prison with credit for time served. Before sending him away, the judge addressed Diddy and said that “a substantial sentence must be given to send a message to abusers and victims alike that abuse against women is met with real accountability.”
The judge also addressed Diddy’s ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, and the others who spoke bravely in court. “I want to say first, we heard you,” the court official said. “I know your families are proud of you, and your children, when they are old enough, will be proud of you. And I am proud of you for coming to the Court to tell the world what really happened.”

7 Forgotten K-Dramas That Have Aged Like Fine Wine
Dramas move incredibly fast, which means there is always another romance, thriller, or high-concept series coming before the audience has even finished talking about the last one. That’s obviously great for serial binge-watchers since they always have plenty of genuinely great shows to watch. Unfortunately, a lot of great K-dramas inevitably get buried under whatever is new and trending.
However, being forgotten doesn’t automatically mean being outdated. In fact, the real test of a K-drama comes years after the hype is gone and all that is left is the actual story. As long as the characters still feel relatable, the themes hold relevance, and the writing holds together without nostalgia doing all the work, K-dramas are practically known to get better with time. To prove that, here are forgotten K-dramas that might have faded out of mainstream conversation, but are aging like fine wine.
‘Nine’ (2013)
It’s hard to understand why Nine: Nine Time Travels didn’t receive the kind of mainstream attention it deserved. The 2013 K-drama follows news anchor Park Sun-woo (Lee Jin-wook), who discovers nine mysterious incense sticks that let him travel exactly 20 years into the past. At first, it sounds like the perfect way to correct old mistakes, protect the people he loves, and potentially rewrite some of the worst moments of his life. The problem is that Nine understands the golden rule of time travel better than most shows, which means that fixing one thing usually breaks something else. Every change Sun-woo makes in the past ripples into the present and alters his life in ways he could never have predicted.
Nine came out before high-concept time-travel K-dramas became nearly as common as they are now, yet its time-travel logic is more solid than most. Since Sun-woo has only nine chances, every trip carries weight. Some of the production naturally looks like early-2010s television now, but the actual storytelling has aged remarkably well. The story keeps forcing Sun-woo to live with the consequences of his own choices, and things get more emotionally complicated as those consequences pile up. Over a decade later, Nine still feels clever, ambitious, and surprisingly warm, which makes it exactly the kind of forgotten K-drama that deserves to be rediscovered.
‘Secret Love Affair’ (2014)
Secret Love Affair sounds scandalous on paper, but its story is so much more than the initial shock value. The 2014 series follows arts foundation executive Oh Hye-won (Kim Hee-ae), who has spent years navigating a world built on outward appearances. Her life changes when she meets Lee Sun-jae (Yoo Ah-in), a poor but extraordinarily gifted young pianist whose talent is impossible for her to ignore. Hye-won helps him gain access to the elite classical music world, but their relationship gradually crosses the line from mentorship into an affair complicated by their age difference, her marriage, and the enormous power imbalance between them.
Secret Love Affair doesn’t treat this complex dynamic as an attractive forbidden romance, but something born out of two deeply unhappy people who find comfort in each other. The series uses this premise to critique socio-economic and class differences, and the contrast between Hye-won’s manipulative world and Sun-jae’s humble but sincere life. Secret Love Affair still feels unusually mature for a romance drama to this day, even when the story it tells is not the most conventional.
‘Alone in Love’ (2006)
Alone in Love is one of the most realistic K-dramas of all time, and it’s a shame that it didn’t get half the hype it deserves. The series follows Eun-ho (Son Ye-jin) and Dong-jin (Kam Woo-sung), a divorced couple who ended their marriage but never really figured out how to end their relationship. They still meet for meals, have random arguments, interfere in each other’s dating lives, and keep finding excuses to stay connected. Both insist they have moved on, but practically everyone around them can see the fact that they are still emotionally attached. That sounds like the setup for a dramatic reunion romance, but Alone in Love doesn’t make things so easy.
The audience slowly learns how Eun-ho and Dong-jin’s marriage fell apart under the weight of grief, resentment, and unsaid feelings. The question then becomes whether these two miss each other, or the comfort of what they once had. That becomes the K-drama’s greatest strength. Alone in Love allows its characters to be petty and selfish, without turning any of it into melodrama. Ye-jin and Woo-sung bring a lived-in chemistry to the show that makes the audience feel their characters’ emotional history. Alone in Love is one of the most honest portrayals of love and what remains of it after a relationship ends, and that’s exactly why it has aged so well.
‘White Christmas’ (2011)
White Christmas is another forgotten K-drama that was way ahead of its time. The eight-episode psychological thriller takes place at Soo-Sin High School, an elite boarding school buried deep in the mountains and reserved for some of the country’s highest-performing students. During the school’s eight-day winter break, almost everyone leaves campus except seven students who have all received the same disturbing anonymous letter. To make things all the creepier, a record snowfall cuts the school off from the outside world, while psychiatrist Kim Yo-han (Kim Sang-kyung) arrives after getting into a nearby car accident.
This locked-room mystery quickly turns into something much darker as the students start trying to figure out who sent the letters and why they were all chosen as the recipients. Now, the setting does a ridiculous amount of work here. This huge, sterile school already feels unsettling when it is full, so watching a handful of teenagers wander its empty corridors in the middle of winter gives chills to just about anyone. Every episode pushes the group close to an answer, but soon enough, they realize that they might not want it after all. The psychological angle in White Christmas is what keeps the audience around till the end. The drama relies on paranoia, moral pressure, and characters slowly revealing their darkest sides.
‘Dear My Friends’ (2016)
Dear My Friends centers on characters who are usually pushed into the background in most TV shows. The 16-episode series follows a tight-knit group of older friends navigating relationships, family problems, illness, and the uncomfortable reality of getting older while there is still so much life to be lived. Writer Noh Hee-kyung builds the story around women including Jo Hee-ja (Kim Hye-ja), Moon Jung-a (Na Moon-hee), Jang Nan-hee (Go Doo-shim), and Oh Choong-nam (Youn Yuh-jung), while Nan-hee’s daughter Park Wan (Go Hyun-jung) becomes the younger perspective through which much of this chaotic group is observed. The genius of the show is that it never reduces aging to inspirational speeches about making the most of one’s final years.
These characters are still petty, romantic, stubborn, funny, and capable of making terrible decisions. Their friendships and marriages carry decades of unresolved baggage. The show unfolds with a truly distinct perspective because it treats aging as another stage of life rather than the end of the story. That’s where the maturity of Dear My Friends comes into play. The show doesn’t idealize any of its characters without ever making them unlikable. It’s funny, while also being heartbreaking and frustrating at times, but that is the beauty of a story like this.
‘Heard It Through the Grapevine’ (2015)
Heard It Through the Grapevine doesn’t take itself too seriously, which is what makes it work. The 2015 series follows Han In-sang (Lee Joon), the privileged son of an extremely wealthy and influential family, whose life blows up when his girlfriend Seo Bom (Go Ah-sung) becomes pregnant. In-sang brings Bom into his parents’ enormous household, where his father Han Jung-ho (Yoo Jun-sang) and mother Choi Yeon-hee (Yoo Ho-jeong) immediately start worrying about what the scandal might do to the family name. From here, the story unfolds with elements of romance, but more than that, Heard It Through the Grapevine is an honest look at how often people get caught up in protecting appearances. The K-drama really drives this point home using satire as Bom’s presence keeps exposing the ridiculous worldview that Jung-ho and Yeon-hee uphold.
None of that social commentary feels dated. If anything, Heard It Through the Grapevine tells a story that only gets better with time. As In-sang and Bom try to build a life together under his parents’ roof, the household becomes increasingly tense. Even the staff and extended family become part of this quiet tug-of-war, which turns what could have been a simple domestic scandal into a much larger clash over class. The best part is that the show doesn’t do any of this through huge dramatic confrontations, but in everyday conversations. That restraint gives the satire much more bite, and makes Heard It Through the Grapevine one of the most entertaining K-dramas of the 2010s.
‘Be Melodramatic’ (2019)
Be Melodramatic is a true blue slice of life K-drama. The 2019 series follows three women in their thirties who are all dealing with very different versions of adulthood. Im Jin-joo (Chun Woo-hee) is a drama writer trying to get her career off the ground, Lee Eun-jung (Jeon Yeo-been) is a documentary director carrying a devastating loss, and Hwang Han-joo (Han Ji-eun) is a single mother working in entertainment marketing. The three live together, share almost everything, and somehow turn work problems, bad dates, and emotional breakdowns into one of the warmest friendships on TV. Be Melodramatic casually moves between comedy and drama because it mirrors the absurd reality of adult life.
The three friends are not waiting for one big miracle to fix everything because they know that career lows, complicated relationships, and grief are inevitable, and hardships like these never magically go away. Yet, the show understands that the true meaning of growing up is finding people who make all this confusion easier to navigate. The K-drama is the definition of a comfort watch that welcomes viewers of all ages, at any point in time.

‘Unemployment Fears’ Anne Hathaway in Tom Cruise Sequel
Anne Hathaway simply doesn’t know how to slow down!
The actress, who won several accolades throughout her career, including an Academy Award, a British Academy Film Award, a Golden Globe Award, and a Primetime Emmy Award, is set to star in the follow-up film, “Days of Thunder,” alongside Tom Cruise.
Cruise shared the news on Instagram by posting a promotional photo and a video, featuring Hathaway, who is currently pregnant with her third child. The movie will hit theatres in “Summer 2028,” which is around two years from now, which means the actress will be working even shortly after giving birth. Fans reacted to the announcement with many emphasizing Hathaway’s busy work schedule.
“Anne is the enemy of unemployment, first lady of work,” one person wrote, while another commented, “Unemployment fears Anne Hathaway.”
British Fashion Illustrator, designer, and author Hayden Williams, who created a popular pop-culture illustration collection inspired by “The Devil Wears Prada,” jokingly asked the actress, “Anne when do you sleep sis?”
A fourth fan noted, “Anne Hathaway single handedly saving cinemas.”
More Movies For Fans To Anticipate

The “Princess Diaries” star has had a very busy 2026, having worked in four films, including, “The Devil Wears Prada 2,” “Mother Mary,” “The Odyssey,” and “The End of Oak Street.” She will also appear on Coleen Hoover’s adaptation of “Verity.”
Recently, Hathaway wrapped production on the Adam Driver military drama “Alone at Dawn,” and is set to return for the third installment of “The Princess Diaries,” per Variety.
Pregnancy Announcement
In June, Hathaway, 43, announced her pregnancy by sharing a video on Instagram. Wearing a white crop top and a long, flowy skirt, the movie star walked into the frame with her arms covering her tummy. Smiling to the camera, she cradled her belly before running out of frame.
“x Baby, I’m yours x,” Hathaway wrote in the caption.
The “Odyssey” star already has two sons, Jonathan, 10, and Jack, 6, with her actor and producer husband Adam Shulman, 45.
Anne Hathaway Won’t Be Sharing Her Baby’s Gender

During an August 10 episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, guest host Anthony Anderson guessed that Hathaway and Shulman would be having another boy. The actress neither confirmed nor denied, saying, “We know,” adding, “[But] we’re not saying.”
Hathaway thanked the audience, who cheered on her for not revealing her baby’s gender: “Thank you for the support. It always feels so rude saying that.”
The actress also shared that everyone, including her sons, are so excited for their new addition to the family.
“[They’re] over the moon,” she said. “It feels really beautiful. It feels like the family’s having a baby. I mean, it’ll feel like I’m having a baby while it’s happening, but the emotional feeling is that we’re all going to welcome this little one.”
Being Pregnant At 43

During the premiere of her movie, “The End of Oak Street,” Hathaway opened up about how pregnancy feels different in her 40s compared to her 30s.
“You know, I was in my 30s with my other two, and I’m so different now,” she told PEOPLE. “Something happened when I turned 40.”
Hathaway continued, “I just realized that this isn’t a dress rehearsal. It’s all real. I’m not, like, saving it up for my future self. It’s all happening right now. And so I think I’m just better at being present in the moment, living in gratitude, not taking anything for granted.”
She added, “So I think all of those things are coming together, and it’s a real time to enjoy.”

Howard Stern Makes Stunning Career Pivot
Howard Stern‘s longtime radio empire is taking a very different direction.
SiriusXM is set to remove Howard 101 on September 1, while Howard 100 remains and Stern’s new live programming drops to one show a week. At the same time, a new deal could bring his weekly material to HBO Max.
For Howard Stern, the shake-up looks less like a step back and more like a new way of reaching his audience. With his SiriusXM presence scaling down and his content reportedly heading to streaming, his next chapter could look very different from the one fans have known for decades.

Howard Stern has been at the center of a major SiriusXM shake-up, with Howard 101 set to disappear from the lineup on September 1. The channel, which has traditionally carried archived material, will be replaced by Andy Cohen’s Radio Andy, while Howard 100 will remain.
The change comes as Stern’s presence on the satellite platform is already being scaled back. After years of producing a much larger volume of programming, he is expected to return from his summer break with just one new live show each week, while older material fills the remaining days.
That smaller footprint follows a round of staff cuts that reportedly affected around a dozen employees, signaling just how much the long-running Stern operation has changed behind the scenes.
What Is Stern’s New Career Move?

The SiriusXM changes may look like a setback, but Stern is reportedly moving part of his show into a different media space. According to The Sun, HBO Max has secured a deal to turn material from his weekly live program into a condensed series.
Under the reported arrangement, his three-hour Monday broadcast would be edited into a roughly 60- or 90-minute program for the streaming service later in the week.
Sources said the strict Monday schedule is tied directly to producing that video content for HBO Max, effectively giving Stern another outlet for his work even as his SiriusXM presence becomes more limited.
The move could mark a notable shift for a radio personality whose career has long been built around live audio, especially as his SiriusXM operation undergoes layoffs and major programming changes.
Howard Stern Said His New Deal Lets Him ‘Have It All’

The lighter workload is not something Howard Stern has presented as a setback. Instead, he has framed the change as a way to keep his place on the radio while finally giving himself more freedom away from the microphone.
During a live broadcast, Stern said he had “figured out a way to have it all,” explaining that the new arrangement would allow him to continue broadcasting while giving him more personal time. That is a notable shift for someone whose schedule has traditionally revolved around producing hours of fresh material throughout the week.
Stern also made it clear that having more days off does not mean he plans to spend them doing nothing. “I do like my days off. You know me, I’m never bored. I’m busy every minute,” he told listeners, suggesting that the reduced workload is something he genuinely sees as a benefit rather than a sign that he is ready to disappear.
The New ‘Flexibility’ Came With A Painful Cost

The promise of more flexibility looked very different for the people who suddenly found themselves without a job. Around a dozen staffers were reportedly laid off as the show prepared to cut back to one new episode a week, with the announcement delivered during a Zoom call and employees sent home afterward.
The cuts also brought renewed attention to complaints from former staffers about their experiences working on the long-running show. Some former employees had previously accused the operation of poor pay and abrupt firings, while others described an atmosphere where job security could disappear with little warning.
Those concerns now sit alongside another major change in the show’s future, making the latest downsizing feel bigger than a simple programming adjustment.
The Blast reported that longtime employees were pushed out just as the operation enters a leaner era; the question is whether the new freedom behind the microphone is coming at too high a price behind the scenes.
Howard Stern’s Longtime Staffers Faced A Messy Exit

The shake-up did not end when the layoffs were announced. Several former staffers reportedly pushed back on the initial severance packages offered by SiriusXM, with some seeking better terms before officially closing the door on their time with the show.
The negotiations were reportedly about more than just the money. The first offers allegedly included nondisclosure agreements that would restrict what former employees could say publicly after leaving.
At the same time, some insiders suggested staffers had already seen the warning signs and knew cuts were coming. One longtime employee, Rahsaan Rogers, spent 16 years with the operation before confirming his departure and describing it as the start of a “new chapter.”
Another former staffer, Jon Blitt, took a lighter approach, joking in a video that he had landed a job at Old Navy after the layoffs. As reported by The Blast, the departures have added another unexpected chapter to the transformation of the show.
With the staff shrinking, the schedule changing, and the SiriusXM setup looking very different, what does the next chapter hold for Howard Stern?
