Apple TV’s Sci-Fi Hit Officially Returns With a Twisted New Multiverse Mystery [Exclusive]

Published

on

Alice Braga in Dark Matter Season 2

When it comes to original sci-fi programming, no platform is operating at as high a level as Apple TV. The streamer has introduced massive hits like Pluribus just in the last year or two, while also banking on more established shows such as For All Mankind, which has been on the air for years now. One of the most popular Apple TV sci-fi properties that immediately comes to mind is Severance, which is currently in the midst of shooting its third season after two highly successful seasons in 2022 and 2025. Fans were hoping for a shorter gap between Seasons 2 and 3, but it appears we’ll be waiting at least two years for new episodes of Severance, possibly even longer. There is another Apple TV sci-fi show streaming now that’s perfect for fans waiting for a new season of Severance, though.

The second season of Dark Matter landed on Apple TV last week, with new episodes set to be released weekly for the next few months. The series is based on the novel of the same name by Blake Crouch, but Season 2 heads into uncharted territory after the first season adapted the entirety of the bestselling book. The first episode of Dark Matter Season 2 is already spreading like wildfire as it closes in on the top spot on Apple TV streaming charts, but fans don’t have to wait until Friday to get a little taste of Episode 2. Collider is thrilled to partner with Apple TV to exclusively preview a new sneak peek from Dark Matter Season 2, Episode 2, “A New Home,” which follows the Dessens’ continued search for a new home while Amanda and Ryan begin a new adventure in another world. In the new sneak peek, Ryan Holder speaks to two different versions of Leighton Vance who have each had entirely different lives defined by their choices.

Your Fate Has Been Calculated
You’d Survive In…

Your answers point to the world your instincts were built for. This is the universe your temperament, your survival instincts, and your particular brand of stubbornness were made for.

The Resistance, Zion

The Matrix

You took the red pill a long time ago — probably before anyone offered it to you. You’re a systems thinker who can’t help but notice the seams in things.

  • You’re drawn to understanding how the system works before figuring out how to break it.
  • You’d find the Resistance, or it would find you — your instinct for spotting constructed realities is the machines’ worst nightmare.
  • You function best when you have access to information and the freedom to act on it.
  • The Matrix built an airtight prison. You’d be the one probing the walls for the door.

The Wasteland

Mad Max

The wasteland doesn’t reward the clever or the well-connected — it rewards those who are hard to kill and harder to break. That’s you.

  • You don’t need comfort, community, or a cause larger than the next horizon.
  • You need a vehicle, a clear threat, and enough fuel to outrun it — and you’re good at all three.
  • You are unsentimental enough to survive that world, and decent enough — just barely — to be something more than another raider.
  • In the wasteland, that distinction is everything.

Los Angeles, 2049

Blade Runner

You’d survive here because you know how to exist in moral grey areas without losing yourself completely.

  • You read people accurately, keep your circle small, and ask the questions others prefer not to answer.
  • In a city where humanity is a legal designation rather than a feeling, you hold onto something that keeps you functional.
  • You’re not a hero. But you’re not lost, either.
  • In Blade Runner’s world, that distinction is everything.

Arrakis

Dune

Arrakis is the most hostile environment in the known universe — and you are precisely the kind of person it rewards.

  • Patience, discipline, and political awareness are your core strengths — and on Arrakis, they’re survival tools.
  • You understand that the long game matters more than any single victory.
  • Others come to Dune and are consumed by it. You’d learn its logic and earn its respect.
  • In time, you wouldn’t just survive Arrakis — you’d begin to reshape it.

A Galaxy Far, Far Away

Star Wars

The galaxy far, far away is vast, loud, and in a constant state of violent political upheaval — and you wouldn’t have it any other way.

  • You find meaning in being part of something larger than yourself — a cause, a crew, a rebellion.
  • You’d gravitate toward the Rebellion, or the fringes, or whatever pocket of the galaxy still believes the Empire’s grip can be broken.
  • You fight — not because you have to, but because standing aside isn’t something you’re capable of.
  • In Star Wars, that willingness is what makes all the difference.

Who Stars in ‘Dark Matter’?

Starring in the leading roles of Jason and Daniela Dessen in Apple TV’s Dark Matter are Joel Edgerton and Jennifer Connelly, who are also tasked with playing countless versions of the same characters. Oakes Fegley stars as their son, Charlie Dessen, with other stars like Alice Braga and Jimmi Simpson filling out the supporting cast as Amanda and Ryan. Author of the Dark Matter novel, Blake Crouch, is heavily involved in the Apple TV retelling of his bestselling sci-fi book as both a lead writer and executive producer.

Check out new episodes of Dark Matter Season 2 every Friday on Apple TV and stay tuned to Collider for more updates and coverage of the show.

Joseline Hernandez Drags Benzino For Defending Stevie J

Published

on

Rihanna Seemingly Addresses Baby Rumors, Talks "Little Pouch"

Joseline Hernandez isn’t backing down from exposing how Stevie J allegedly doesn’t contribute to caring for their daughter, Bonnie Bella. And Benzino is part of the reason Joseline is speaking out! She shared heated words for Zino after he appeared to defend Stevie and blast the Puerto Rican Princess for discussing child support with her nine-year-old.

RELATED: Bonnie Bella Keeps It Real With Joseline Hernandez About Stevie J’s Parenting & What She Wishes He Would Do More Often (VIDEO)

The Background Context: Joseline & Bonnie Bella’s Conversation

This week, clips circulated from Joseline’s new reality show, showing her and Bonnie chattin’ openly about what some would call “grown folks business.” In one video, for instance, Bonnie says Joseline told her what a “stripper” does for work. Hernandez admits she wants to keep Bella from finding out about her past on the internet or at school. During that same conversation, the mother and daughter discussed how involved Stevie J is. Bonnie Bella tells her mom that she thinks he’s both a good dad and not a good dad. The nine-year-old said sometimes her dad wants to see her, making him good. Other times, she believes he lies about having to end calls for meetings. Joseline added to Bonnie’s reasoning, alleging that Stevie J doesn’t give them any money. “He don’t give us a dollar. Your school is so expensive. He doesn’t even have the decency to call and say, ” Hey, do y’all need some money over there?” Hernandez said.

Benzino Weighs In On Joseline Hernandez’s Talk With Bonnie

As the Joseline and Bonnie Bella clips circulated, Benzino hopped online to share his two cents.  He shared his stance against Hernandez being so open with her nine-year-old. Zino mentioned that the girl shouldn’t know about her past as a stripper. He said it’s an inappropriate conversation for Bonnie’s age, calling her “way too young.” However, Benzino said the “real issue” is Joseline speaking about Stevie J not giving them any money.

“This is a real problem in our community, where the mother paints this narrative of the father because the father is not with the mother anymore. And she’s filling Bonnie Bella’s head up with this narrative…as they get older they start resenting their father and I just think that is wrong.”

Benzino said that Joseline should tell the whole story if she’s going to tell anything. “…without Stevie her career wouldn’t be where it is and that’s just a fact,” he added. He then appeared to speak to her directly, telling her to stop trying to paint a “bad father” picture without full context. He also challenged women to take accountability in the chaos and emphasize that without Stevie J there would be no Joseline Hernandez or ‘Love & Hip Hop.’

“I don’t like to sit back and watch somebody bash someone’s father to a child who’s 10 years old. I thought that was very inappropriate and a lot of y’all who’s cosigning it, y’all need your head examined…cause it wasn’t cool.”

Joseline Hernandez Drags Benzino & Doubles Down On Her Stance On Stevie J’s Position In Daughter’s Life

After The Shade Room reposted Benzino’s comments on Instagram, Joseline didn’t hold back on the degree of her insult. She implied that Zino was performing fellatio on Stevie J, writing in the comment section, “Omg I see some of Stevie j [nut emoticon] on the side of his mouth. Someone give him a washcloth.”

TSR reposted her comment on IG again. This time, Joseline slid into the comment section to double down on her narrative that her daughter’s biological father does not contribute financially to caring for Bonnie Bella. She called him disgusting and suggested that deadbeat dads should be locked up.

“That lame Stevie hasn’t gave me a 1$ dollar for Bonnie since she’s been born I don’t talk bad about him to Bonnie’Bella at all. But you not going to tell me I can’t ask my daughter how she feels about anything. Stevie been doing that. No one feelings are valid except his feelings. Stevie needs a job and needs to provide for his children period. Not just Bonnie’Bella but all his 8 or 9 kids that he has. He is a disgusting human being. That girl eat, dresses, hair, insurance, school, and activities and he has never payed a dollar for anything. Smh. These DEAD BEATS need Jail time.”

At this time, Stevie J has not publicly weighed in on what Joseline is alleging or how Benzino appeared to come to his defense.

Mandy Moore’s 5-year-old son, Gus, is among the top listeners of her 1999 breakthrough hit, “Candy.”

“I don’t know how or why, because I would not play that for him, but now he wants to hear it in the car,” Moore, 42, told People in an interview published Tuesday, September 1. “I’ve had to put a moratorium on it. I’m like, ‘Bud, I don’t want to hear it every day.’”

Whenever Gus asks Moore why they can’t listen to “Candy,” the This Is Us alum merely explains that the track is “just not [her] favorite.”

“Hearing it every once in a while is a total fun little bop and stroll down memory lane,” she acknowledged. “He’s like, ‘I’m the same age that you were when you made that song.’ I was like, ‘No, you’re 5, but you are closer, probably, to that age than I am to that age.’ It’s pretty funny that he can make that distinction.”

Mandy Moore and Taylor Goldsmith are the proud parents of three kids — and they’ve been giving the world a glimpse into their family life ever since baby Gus was born in 2021. “Gus is here,” Moore shared via social media in February 2021. “Our sweet boy, August Harrison Goldsmith. He was punctual and arrived […]

In addition to Gus, Moore shares son Ozzie, 3, and daughter Louise, 2, with musician husband Taylor Goldsmith. Gus, in particular, has already begun to follow both of his parents’ musical footsteps.

“We have a little songwriter in our midst. Our oldest has already written his first album,” she teased to People. “There’s nine songs. It’s only 21 minutes long, but he wants to listen to it in the car.”

Per Moore, Gus’ debut unreleased album was recorded via her and Goldsmith’s smartphones. The Dawes performer, 41, even played piano in the background.

“[Gus] makes up these songs, and then he wants to listen back to them. It’s so much fun,” Moore gushed. “He’s definitely inspired by Dad, for sure.”

Moore and Goldsmith are content with their family of five, recently coming to the realization that they were done expanding their brood further.

“I’m at the OBGYN getting a checkup … I am endlessly grateful for my beautiful family,” Moore wrote via her Instagram Stories in January. “AND there’s a certain sadness knowing I’m done having babies and won’t be pregnant again.”

Moore gave birth to Louise in 2024 when she was in her early 40s.

“I think, at least in my experience, so many of my friends are having kids later in life, whether it’s by choice or it’s by circumstance or biology,” she said on the “Not Gonna Lie” podcast in July 2025. “I think the thing that I had the most trouble with is just like this system in general kind of treating us as this anomaly that we’re too old and we’re too complicated or high risk, and really, it’s like, ‘Nope, we’re just human beings.’”

Travis Kelce is back on the air — this time as a married man.

“At this point, we’re what, over a month out? Me and Taylor are so thankful for everybody that showed up, you know, from the vows to just seeing everyone to how much fun we had throughout the entire evening, and hearing that kind of be relayed through everybody’s stories of the night.”

Travis gushed over the “magical” event, adding, “I wish it could’ve lasted even longer than it did, it felt like it just happened in the blink of an eye.”

He went on to shed light on why the couple chose to have their wedding at Madison Square Garden in New York City. “Thank you [to] everyone at MSG that allowed us to do this,” he said. “We wanted to do it somewhere where we could have a very intimate and genuine setting without a lot of distractions. We needed it to be a private feel. And MSG went above and beyond to give us that. I can’t thank everybody enough that showed up but also that helped put the show on, and it was a very magical, magical night.”

Wednesday’s episode marked the beginning of the podcast’s fifth season and the first episode since Travis married Swift in July. The couple, who got engaged last summer following Swift’s “New Heights” debut, have remained relatively tight-lipped about their star-studded nuptials.

“It was a fun offseason, man,” Travis previously told reporters at Kansas City Chiefs training camp in August. “Wedding was the best night of my life. I appreciate everybody who came out and celebrated and had fun with us. That’s about all I really got from that night. It was a crazy night. It was full of a lot of celebration.”

Travis and the pop star hosted nearly 1,000 guests at their NYC wedding, but a source told Us it was still an “intimate and personal” affair.

“Taylor was emotional while reciting her vows but kept her composure,” an insider shared. “You could tell she put a lot of work and time into writing her vows. Travis teared up more than Taylor. They shared very personal details and anecdotes that some guests had never even heard before.”

While few details have emerged about the ceremony itself, it was revealed that Adam Sandler officiated. Travis gave his Happy Gilmore 2 costar a “special thank you” on Wednesday.

“He has been just the f***ing best person on this planet and for him to be up for getting ordained in the state of New York and marrying me and Taylor … giving us more than we could’ve ever imagined in that moment, knowing that it was the biggest night of both of our lives,” the athlete said. “It was absolutely insane.”

Travis Kelce’s Wedding Guests ‘Kicked Out’ Of MSG

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Depart Or'esh Restaurant in NYC

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift tied the knot nearly two months ago in a massive wedding that occurred at New York City’s Madison Square Garden. Several celebrities, from actors to comedians to superstar athletes, attended, making the magical moment even more special for the bride and groom. There was one thing, though, that Travis wished could’ve been different, and his brother Jason seemed to agree.

On the September 2 episode of Travis and Jason’s “New Heights” podcast, the two NFL stars spoke about the big day. “It’s a night out we’ll never forget,” Travis said about the ceremony.

“Me and Taylor are so thankful for everybody that showed up, from the vows to just seeing everyone, to how much fun we had, throughout the entire evening and hearing that, kind of be relayed through everybody’s stories of the night. And it was just so magical, man,” he added.

Despite being all smiles, Travis said he wished the night “could have lasted even longer,” noting that it felt like things happened “in the blink of an eye” before Jason said, “They kicked us out!”

However, Travis expected that, saying that “once the drinks stopped being served,” everyone started to dip out.

Travis and Taylor said “I do” on July 3 in New York City. The stars were out, and the ceremony included some very big names, including Adam Sandler as the couple’s officiant.

“We wanted to do it somewhere where we could have a very intimate and genuine setting without a lot of distractions. And we needed it to be a private feel,” Travis said. “And MSG went above and beyond to give us that.”

Travis also made sure to show love to Sandler, his “Happy Gilmore 2” co-star. “I can’t say thank you to everyone without [giving] a special thank you to the Adam Sandler,” the Super Bowl champion said.

“He has been just the f—ing best person on this planet. And for him to be up for getting ordained in the state of New York and marrying me and Taylor in the way he did, in the very, you know, Sandman style and giving us more than we could have ever imagined in that moment, knowing that, it was the biggest night of both of our lives. It was, it was absolutely insane, man,” Travis added.

Sandler has always been open about his love for Swift, previously praising the singer and noting how important her contributions to music have been.

According to The Blast, the comedian “wasn’t trying to find the perfect words or make it this big production”; he simply wanted to speak from the heart—something Jason knew would get the audience choked up.

“I mean, obviously, he’s an entertainer and he’s hilarious, but there’s a sweetness in everything Adam does, like all of his movies. And, like, there’s a degree of it that I think really resonates with officiating a wedding,” Jason said.

Elsewhere during the episode, Jason opened up to his brother about what he enjoyed most during the wedding.

“The thing I really liked about this wedding, in particular, and the way you guys structured it was like, after all that was done, like, there wasn’t like the sit-down formal stuff. There wasn’t like a bunch of the speeches. It was just time to party and have fun. And that’s what made it so fun for me to be there,” Jason said, adding that he saw many celebrities, including Brad Pitt, Conan O’Brien, and Paul McCartney.

While Jason had a good time at the wedding, one of his friends, Taylor Lewan, expressed his disappointment over not receiving an invite.

“Going into the weekend I thought, ‘All good, didn’t get an invite,’” he said. “At the end of the day when it comes to weddings, don’t make it about yourself. I sit back, happy for them. I shot Travis a text saying congratulations; he hit me back pretty quick.”

However, after photos from the event leaked, and Lewan noticed more and more people there, he began wondering if there was a bigger reason he wasn’t included.

“Cooper Kupp is there—you didn’t play with Cooper Kupp! I’m looking at these names… this is where I was kind of like, ok. When I saw George Kittle’s mom and stepmom there! Yo, we’re boys! I’ve known you over 10 years! We text and call each other! I’m going to take the high road, ok, but clearly I am doing something wrong in our friendship. Clearly doing something wrong,” he said.

21 Savage Shares His Thoughts On Fatherhood

The ‘Bank Account‘ rapper was a guest on the Netflix podcast ‘The Pete Davidson Show,’ and he talked about fatherhood during the latest episode.

The artist, whose real name is Shéyaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, is the father of four. He shares two sons, Kamari and Ashaad, with his ex, Keyanna Joseph. He also has a daughter, Rhian.

The artist welcomed his youngest child with fellow artist Latto, whose real name is Alyssa Michelle Stephens, in May. Joseph said raising children is different for him now because he is older.

“My first three,” he said. “I was younger, running around in the street, just like it was different. Now it’s like I’m in the house. I have the baby all night making her bottle, changing her diapers like so it’s kind of like a different bond type sh*t.”

He admitted that even though he was there for his older children from day one, he was also focused on his music career. In addition, the ‘a lot‘ artist added that his older children motivated him in his music career.

Fans Found His Comments Relatable

User @browzinggirls wrote, Every child will have a different experience with their parents! Mother or father. You get older, wiser and might have better finances or patience. I know men with 1 child and don’t take care of that one!”

Latto Describes Labor In Video Interview

Latto shared her experience giving birth during a recent interview with Capital XTRA.

After she was asked about what surprised her about labor, she exclaimed, “Maybe the pain!”

The rapper said that she had planned an unmedicated water birth before changing course later, recalling herself, demanding an epidural for the pain, saying:

“‘Get me the f*ck out this pool.’”

When asked if she wanted another child, Latto said:

“I don’t know. I don’t know. She’s so perfect, like I would, but then I’d be like oof…. the best day of my life, but the most painful day of my life too.”

‘The Paper’ Season 2 Finally Becomes ‘The Office’ Replacement Peacock Needed

Published

on

the-paper-season-02_209787_01903

When The Paper Season 2 returns to Peacock this September, the Toledo Truth-Teller is in a much better place than when we first met it. Thankfully, the same is true of the mockumentary sitcom from mastermind creators Greg Daniels and Michael Koman. The sophomore release is faster, funnier, and more confident in the type of sitcom it wants to be. You see that pretty quickly in one of its best episodes, where a routine reporting assignment collides with a tornado and the newsroom’s usual awkwardness turns into complete chaos.

But what makes the ridiculously laugh-out-loud bit work is actually something much smaller. From its premiere last year to now, The Paper has gotten much better at watching people who already struggle to communicate try to do it when everything around them goes wrong. While the jokes are sharper and the pacing is quicker, the cast now feels so comfortable with each other that even a small look can be as funny as whatever weird thing is happening. Better yet, the cringe the series inherits from The Office’s tone and style has something genuine underneath it.

By Season 2, though, it feels less like a show living in The Office’s shadow and more like a workplace comedy that can actually stand beside it. These characters, led by Domhnall Gleeson’s intrepid editor, Ned Sampson, may be walking disasters, but they care about their workplace. But we also learn they care a great deal about journalism, even if each of them is considerably worse at caring about each other.

What Is ‘The Paper’ Season 2 About?

Picking up right after the Ohio Journalism Awards, where the Toledo Truth-Teller took home some trophies, Ned (Gleeson) is eager to build on the paper’s major wins. Of course, that quickly turns into a search for a bigger story following the honor, eventually putting a local private club in his sights and giving Ned something much bigger to chase. But around that, the newsroom remains exactly as chaotic as you’d expect.

Ned and Mare (Chelsea Frei) are still figuring out how to handle that surprising kiss without making things more awkward or complicated at work. Meanwhile, after Nicole (Ramona Young) tells Detrick (Melvin Gregg) that she wants space and out of their “situationship,” he pushes himself to be the best reporter at the paper. Esmeralda (Sabrina Impacciatore) finds new ways to make herself the center of whatever is happening, pulling Ken (Tim Key) into her schemes, reviewing the wrong “haunted house,” or treating a workplace inconvenience like a full-scale coup.

As The Paper gives the staff plenty of assignments that go sideways, from sourcing dilemmas to ethics, Season 2 also tackles journalism issues through local attractions, emergency alerts, and HR problems. But of course, one assignment keeps everyone on their toes, especially as Ned pushes for something more “Pulitzer Prize-y”— even if it means jeopardizing what they’ve built in the past year.

‘The Paper’ Season 2’s Writing Knows When To Let Things Get Weird

the-paper-season-02_209787_01903 Image via NBC Universal, Peacock

One of the best parts of The Paper this season is just how often a normal workplace problem ends up a little more outlandish than expected. Take, for example, a podcast that looks innocent on the surface but becomes a point of contention between two of the paper’s brightest minds; or how an HR requirement somehow turns into a full-blown HR violation, producing some of the season’s biggest laughs. Then there’s the tornado that finds two of its most opposite reporters on a case that becomes uproariously hilarious and awkward AF. But none of these dilemmas feel random, either. Everyone starts with something pretty simple to do before it all spirals completely out of control, which is a strong testament to clever, sharp writing.

With each episode sitting around 20–25 minutes, the pacing helps a great deal too. Rarely do the jokes sit longer than they need to. Instead, they bounce around the newsroom without ever feeling crammed. Last year, the series had to introduce this odd group of people and figure out how they fit together. But Season 2 skips that, giving the writers more room to just have fun with each of them, testing combos for unconventional scenarios. Not to mention, the sitcom understands how things like access, bad reporting, editorial pressure, and the relationships we build in a newsroom can all become part of the joke.

Ned’s “crusade” gives the season a bigger story too, but it’s the smaller stories that let the rest of the staff fail upward in their own quirky ways. Like, the tornado is probably where all of that really comes together. Yes, I’ve mentioned it three times now, but there’s a reason for that. Because what begins as a normal assignment becomes the wildest two minutes you’ll see on TV in 2026. But the funniest part isn’t all the physical comedy that follows. It comes down to watching these people who are already pretty bad at saying what they mean try to do it under some of the worst possible circumstances. Leveling up from Season 1’s dynamics, it’s proof that when the joke gets huge and silly, it still comes from who these people are.

‘The Paper’ Season 2’s Cast Is Even Better This Time Around

Across the show’s first 10 episodes made available for review, it’s clear the cast is having more fun this season, and that vibe goes a long way. Gleeson is still holding all of this together, mostly because he can make Ned’s sincerity funny without ever making him look foolish. And really, that tracks with Gleeson’s background in comedy and writing, which lets him sit comfortably inside a joke without ever overselling it. His co-star, Frei, is just as good, especially when a scene calls for a look that says exactly what Mare is thinking. While Frei is completely owning her character, the back-and-forth the pair share has gotten even better, and Season 2 gives them more room to play with all the feelings brewing between Ned and Mare.

But for everything the two bring, Impacciatore is a real knockout this season. There’s something fearless in how she plays Esmeralda, going big without ever losing control of the joke. Even when the material gets completely absurd (and it really does), Impacciatore commits so hard that you almost start following her logic. She can completely take over a scene without making everyone else disappear, and some of Season 2’s biggest laughs belong to her. Her moments with guest star Andy Richter are also exactly what you’d imagine, and they make you hope he comes back for Season 3.

Meanwhile, rounding out the supporting cast is a sharp performance by Gregg, who gets a chance to stretch a little more this year, while Young most interestingly throws herself into some of Nicole’s wildest moments. Gbemisola Ikumelo, Alex Edelman, Duane Shepard Sr., Eric Rahill, and Oscar Nuñez all get their own chances to be ridiculous too, with some of the funniest side plots coming from this group. SNL veteran Jon Lovitz also drops in and is exactly as snappy and curmudgeonly as you’d hope, stealing several scenes along the way, along with some big (often awkward) moments. Comedian Lisa Gilroy is just as funny and unexpected, taking what could have been a fairly standard HR head role and making every interaction weird in exactly the right way.

But Key continues to be one of The Paper’s secret weapons. While the greatest bummer is that Key isn’t in every episode this season, the moments we get are among the funniest. Key can make the strangest line sound totally appropriate with this innocent confidence, and every time his character pops up, you immediately wish he had more to do. But that might actually be the one downside to an ensemble this good: there just isn’t always enough room for everyone. While Key especially feels underused, wanting more of these people is hardly the worst complaint a comedy can leave you with. There are a few things I wanted more of, sure, but The Paper Season 2 is still one of the funniest comedies on Peacock right now and one you’ll definitely hope we get more of.

The Paper Season 2 premieres September 9 on Peacock.

  • Domhnall Gleeson is a terrific anchor for the season, while Sabrina Impacciatore is a knockout.
  • The writing is sharper and faster this season, with jokes that rarely overstay their welcome.
  • Season 2 finds a stronger balance between ridiculous workplace comedy and the very real messiness of journalism.
  • Tim Key is noticeably underused despite being one of the show’s funniest performers.
  • Some of the season’s best supporting players leave you wanting more, which is a good problem to have.

Jaidyn Alexis Calls Out Blueface’s Parenting As She Reveals How Javaughn Has Reacted To His Absence (VIDEOS)

For the last few months, Jaidyn Alexis and Blueface have experienced ups and downs in their co-parenting of their children, Javaughn and Journey. Their situation has continued playing out publicly, with both sides speaking about their parenting and where things currently stand. Jaidyn recently shared her latest thoughts as she continued calling out Blueface over his role as a father.

Jaidyn Alexis  Calls Out Blueface While Sharing Her Thoughts On Karlissa Mentioning Him Around Their Kids

Recently, clips of Blueface’s mother mentioning him while spending time with Javaughn and Journey have circulated on the timeline. In one viral clip, Journey became upset and said she didn’t want to go home unless her dad was there, adding, “I love my dad.”

Many viewers later left comments on Jaidyn’s stream and asked how she felt about Karlissa mentioning Blueface around their kids. While sharing her thoughts, Jaidyn also criticized Blueface’s parenting and claimed Javaughn didn’t want to speak to him.

“I feel like Karlissa just brings him up in front of the kids to try to, like, keep his name still alive. But at the end of the day, she tried to put Javaughn and Blue on the phone together, and Javaughn didn’t want to talk to him. So that’s all you need to know,” Jaidyn said.

Jaidyn continued, explaining that she believes Journey is still too young to fully understand the situation, while Javaughn is old enough to see what’s going on.

“Journey is very young, and she’s not gonna know the difference, but Javaughn doesn’t want to talk to him. He don’t f**k with bro. He’s nine years old. You don’t think that he sees what’s going on?” she said. “You’re a weirdo. Like, your son doesn’t want to talk to you? I would feel like a failure in life if I felt like my kids didn’t want to talk to me. Work on that. Talk about that on your stream. Talk about how you ain’t s**t. Then talk to me. My kids are not stupid or slow, no shade.”

Social Media Reacts

Many gathered under The Shade Room Teens’ post to react to Jaidyn’s recent stream. While some expressed sympathy for Javaughn and Journey, others debated who is to blame for Blueface and Jaidyn’s parenting.

Instagram user @simtookie wrote, “Javaughn is old enough to understand what’s going on. It’s understandable that he doesn’t want to talk to Blue right now.”

Instagram user @breeeeia added, “Very sad when your own kid doesn’t wanna speak to you. Hopefully they can mend it one day.”

While Instagram user dez_browne wrote, She swear she the head bm in charge 😂”

Instagram user @lady_candyapples wrote, “That’s because ya’ll talk in front of him. My • kids never knew when me and their dads were at odds, because i kept them out the loop. Ijs”

Instagram user @foreverjolley added, “We not gonna sit here and act like blue is the only reason why that la boy dont wanna talk to him daddy 😭😭f it’s enough fingers to go around😂”

While Instagram user @prettyyyblackkk wrote, “Damn. I feel so bad for Pinkface 😩 “.

Instagram user @brittanybell043 wrote, “He literally said he is going to REPLACE his kids and yall somehow mad at Jaiden 🤦🏾‍♀️hate the internet 😂😂😂”

Instagram user @amari.j added, “are ya’ll seriously defending that man in the • comments?? The black community is so cooked.”

While Instagram user @ms.milkmarieee wrote, “It’s entirely possible he just don’t wanna talk to his daddy whether that’s Jaidyn fault or not blue literally said they were replaceable. Why exactly are we upset with her?”

Karlissa Previously Called For The Internet To Hold Blueface Accountable For Not Being Present For Javaughn & Journey

Earlier last month, Karlissa expressed her frustration with her son Blueface for allegedly not being present in Javaughn and Journey’s lives. She revealed that Javaughn had even questioned his father’s whereabouts.

“Javaughn asked me, ‘Were you back in jail?’ Because your dad would never. Your dad might have disappeared for 30 days, and he did that very often, but he would still pop back up. Javaughn asked me, ‘Were you back in jail?’ That’s not okay,” she said during a livestream.

Karlissa explained that she tells the kids both of their parents are working rather than going into detail about what’s happening between Blueface and Jaidyn.

“And I have to remind him that, no, you’re just out working. I don’t want to tell him that his mama went out and f***ed your best friend because you f***ed her best friend, and now they need a timeout so they don’t f*** each other up. I can’t tell your son what’s going on, so I have to naturally tell him that both of y’all are working and they’re gonna be spending a lot of time with Grandma.”

Karlissa then called on the internet to hold Blueface accountable, specifically regarding Journey.

Your followers and everybody on these Instagrams and all these pages need to start holding him accountable for Javaughn and Journey,” she said.

She also offered to help Blueface spend time with the kids, saying they could meet at McDonald’s, a playground, or another location that worked for him.
