Ciara Miller Reacts to Complaints She Didn’t Smile on DWTS

DWTS

Summer House‘s Ciara Miller spoke out after some Dancing With the Stars viewers claimed she wasn’t smiling enough during the premiere.

“I promise to smile from here on out,” Miller, 30, captioned a TikTok on Thursday, September 17, which showed her continuously smiling during rehearsals with pro Brandon Armstrong.

Miller received an outpouring of support in the comments section, with some social media users noting that the Bravo star seemed nervous before dancing on live TV. Armstrong, meanwhile, praised how Miller reacted to the criticism, writing, “Elite work here Ciara.”

Miller was cast on season 35 of Dancing With the Stars following a highly publicized scandal involving her ex West Wilson, who started dating her former friend and costar Amanda Batula earlier this year.

Dancing With the Stars makes the contestants work to climb the leaderboard — but some pairs have received remarkably low scores over the years. Dancing With the Stars debuted on ABC in 2005 as viewers tuned in week after week to see celebrities learn ballroom styles with professional dancers in an epic — and often […]

“Tonight’s dance means more to me than I can really put into words. Obviously Whitney, but these lyrics have carried real weight for me this season of my life,” Miller wrote via Instagram on Wednesday, September 16, before performing her first dance of the season. “This has been a wild year … full of wins, full of falls, and I’m so deeply grateful to everyone who sent me a kind word along the way. You have no idea how much those moments mattered.”

Miller and Armstrong, 32, ultimately earned 15 out of 30 points for their foxtrot to “Exhale (Shoop Shoop)” by Whitney Houston. The dance also caused judge Carrie Ann Inaba to shed a few tears while giving feedback.

“I live so much of my life in front of a camera, but I still hold a lot closer to keep to myself. There were days and nights with my friends, behind closed doors, that were hard -really hard- to get through,” Miller continued in her social post. “And I’m eternally grateful to them, because without them, I wouldn’t be walking out on this stage tonight.”

Taylor Frankie Paul In Another MomTok Drama

Published

on

Taylor Frankie Paul

Taylor Frankie Paul is once again at the center of a MomTok mess, and this time an ex, a few choice words, and a resurfaced friendship feud are all tangled together.

“The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star has been pulled into another heated exchange after Miranda Hope appeared to address the drama publicly, bringing old tensions involving Chase McWhorter back into the conversation.

Taylor Frankie Paul has become one of the most talked-about figures in the MomTok universe, with her relationships, friendships, and past controversies repeatedly spilling beyond the show.

Taylor has found herself in another messy MomTok exchange, and this time, a TikTok comment was enough to set things off. The drama started when Emma Ellis shared a video featuring Chase McWhorter, Taylor’s fellow reality-TV figure and the ex-husband of Miranda Hope.

Under the video, Taylor dropped an “I’m kind of jealous” sticker after Chase appeared to lean in for a kiss on Emma’s cheek. Miranda quickly fired back with a sticker calling Taylor a “B-tch” and accusing her of being on “some weird sh-t.”

But Miranda was far from the only person unimpressed by the comment, with one viewer writing, “Another day, another double standard from TFP,” while another added, “Please Taylor not rn.”

The reactions kept piling up, with one commenter asking, “Are you on dr-gs again, sweetie?” At the same time, another offered a less confrontational interpretation, writing, “I think she means she is jealous he gets to kiss her. [Laughing emoji]”

Others were not nearly as charitable, with one person writing, “Imagine thinking you are funny commenting this.” With opinions clearly split over what Taylor meant, the already awkward exchange quickly became another public MomTok mess.

The Two Women Were Never Exactly Besties

The tension hits differently because Miranda and Taylor have never been especially close. Their friendship has previously been described as sitting somewhere in a “gray area,” suggesting there was already plenty of distance between the two before the latest TikTok exchange.

According to TMZ, Miranda’s response came after seeing Taylor’s flirtatious-looking comment on the video featuring her ex-husband Chase McWhorter. The exchange quickly turned into a public back-and-forth, putting their already complicated relationship back in the spotlight.

Adding even more fuel to the situation, Taylor is also dealing with separate legal battles involving exes Tate Paul and Dakota Mortensen. Taylor allegedly failed multiple drug tests and had her custody time reduced, meaning this latest MomTok clash is landing while plenty of other personal drama is already surrounding her.

The latest exchange with Miranda may be getting attention now, but Taylor has already faced plenty of friction with other women in her “SLOMW” circle. Earlier this year, Mikayla Matthews pushed back after Taylor appeared to suggest she was responsible for the opportunities her co-stars had received through the show.

Rather than letting the comments slide, Mikayla accused Taylor of repeatedly reminding the group that she was the reason they had certain opportunities.

The Blast reported that Mikayla described it as “weaponizing and manipulating your following to keep yourself in that power position to intimidate the people around you over and over.” The comments came after Taylor shared messages about opportunities including “Dancing with the Stars” and a book.

That history makes the latest Miranda exchange feel like part of a much bigger pattern of strained relationships around Taylor. Mikayla and Taylor later said they were in a “good” place, but the repeated public clashes have continued to keep the cast dynamics under a microscope.

The Drama Has Already Created Problems Behind The Scenes

Public disagreements between Taylor and her co-stars have not stayed confined to social media. The tension became a much bigger issue for “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” when production on Season 5 was halted amid Taylor’s legal troubles involving ex Dakota Mortensen.

As reported by The Blast, a majority of the cast reportedly refused to film with Taylor during the height of the situation, creating a major roadblock for production. Mikayla had also previously said she wanted to keep her distance from Taylor and Mortensen while the legal drama was unfolding, underscoring just how complicated the relationships had become.

Taylor is expected to appear in the first half of Season 5, but reportedly without filming confessionals, while some of her scenes are expected to be shot separately from the rest of the cast. With another public clash now unfolding, the question is how much more tension the group can absorb.

Taylor Frankie Paul Turned To Rehab As She Tried To Rebuild Her Life

MEGA

Taylor’s public conflicts have unfolded alongside a much more personal effort to get her life back on track. Before filming resumed for “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” she voluntarily checked into a rehab facility as she looked for professional support and a way to move forward from everything happening around her.

The decision came after weeks of upheaval involving her split from Mortensen, court restrictions, lost television opportunities, and the fallout from her past actions.

The Blast reported that people in Taylor’s circle supported her decision to seek help, with her children also remaining at the center of her priorities as she worked through the consequences of the situation.

Now, Taylor says she is trying to let go of the distrust and resentment that fueled some of her recent reactions. Her admission that she feels “at war” and is “afraid of who I can trust” offers a more vulnerable look at the person behind the latest social media drama, even as her relationships with her co-stars continue to evolve.

Could Taylor Frankie Paul’s decision to confront her personal struggles finally help her find a way forward with her co-stars and the life she is trying to rebuild?

General Hospital: Jack Brennan Case Explodes as Suspects Multiply

Published

on

General Hospital: Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna)

General Hospital just saw Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) arrested for Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna)’s disappearance and Agent William Baines (Alimi Ballard) has extradited Nina. He has hauled her off to a WSB facility. But we also know that Nina is innocent.

Plus, there’s the question of exactly how Jack died. Maybe it was an accidental drowning, but I kind of doubt it. I suspect this may turn into a whole who-done-it on General Hospital. Today we’re going to talk about Nina’s innocence, how Jack really died, and who murdered the WSB station chief if it is foul play.

General Hospital: Nina Hauled Away in Handcuffs

So, this week we saw Agent Baines drag Nina screaming out of the Metro Court restaurant down to the PCPD where she spent the night in a holding cell. And then Baines told Nina they have evidence to extradite her because they found Jack’s wallet in her car. Of course Nina’s distraught and she told Baines that Jack was never ever in her car.

And Nina told Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) she is being framed and he asked Nina who would do that. She should pretty quickly realize the only person who would do this is of course Drew Cain Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison). But with her taken by the WSB, Nina can’t warn Willow Tait Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen). And as far as we know, Nina was working late at the Crimson office.

Plus, she wouldn’t have killed Jack anyway because Nina really liked him and she wanted him to keep helping Willow. So, Nina had zero motive. Plus, there’s the big question of what was Jack’s cause of death? Was it accidental or was it foul play? While it looks at a glance like Jack was groggy from the sleeping pill and just stumbled into the Metro Court pool and drowned, that may not be accurate.

Drew & Ava Set It All in Motion on GH

If that is the truth, then Drew and Ava Cassadine (Tamara Braun) are ultimately responsible because he provided the pill and Ava slipped it to Jack. But I suspect that somebody actually killed the WSB chief. And in fact, I think the people that we know that are involved didn’t actually kill him. And that includes Nina, who’s now arrested, Ava, who drugged Jack, and Drew, who rifled through Jack’s room.

I don’t think any of them did it. Plus, there’s Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight), who provided the flash drive, but Drew and Ava have an alibi because Jack stumbled away sleepily. And then Ava ran to Jack’s room and dragged Drew out of there. While Ava was away, that’s when Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) and Danny Morgan (Asher Jared Antonyzyn) found Jack’s corpse in the pool. And of course, the teens are also innocent.

General Hospital: Tristan Solves the Mystery

Fall spoilers for General Hospital tie Dr. Tristan Roberts (Dean Geyer) into this storyline. Spoilers say his medical knowledge is pivotal to the mystery of Jack Brennan’s death. His body is going to be found likely because of Outback and it may be Tristan who examines him and if water’s in his lungs then Jack drowned either accidentally or on purpose.

You know, maybe somebody took advantage of Ava drugging him and drowned him anyway. But if there’s no water in his lungs, then Jack died of some other reason and was tossed into the pool. And if it is murder, we’re going to talk about who would have killed Jack Brennan.

Valentin a Top Suspect on GH

So, first up, we got to talk about Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). He is a solid suspect because he’s wanted Jack dead for quite a while. Valentin and Jack have both tried to kill each other and he let Valentin take the fall for what they both did at Pikeman. Plus, Valentin knows Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) hates Jack and he knows Carly’s still furious that Jack set up Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) to murder Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) so he could recruit her into the WSB. Carly has wanted revenge on Jack for a while.

That’s why Valentin and Carly got together to start with, targeting Jack. And now he’s dead. So Valentin might have done it. And I don’t think he’d tell Carly or anybody else. But I don’t think Valentin would want Nina framed for something he did. So, it could be Valentin ran into Jack and he was groggy on pills. So maybe Valentin attacked Jack in a crime of opportunity. And we know Valentin’s capable of murder.

General Hospital: Carly Has Motive

For all these same reasons, our second possible culprit is Carly herself. She is certainly capable of murder, especially when it comes to protecting her kids. And because of Jack pulling Josslyn into the WSB, her daughter was shot and almost died on Spoon Island.

So, yeah, Carly would go after Jack, but also Carly has a pretty solid alibi. She was with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) dealing with the mess of the security cameras going down. But her boyfriend Valentin doesn’t have an alibi. Even if Carly didn’t kill Jack when the truth comes out, Carly may end up on the suspect list.

And that’s because of the whole Josslyn thing. I could see her interrogating her mom, asking Carly if she went after Jack or had Jason do it. But I don’t think Josslyn would tell Baines or the WSB that Carly had a vendetta against Jack. And Josslyn of course knows because it’s all about Jack recruited her. So I honestly suspect Valentin more than Carly.

General Hospital: Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna)General Hospital: Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna)
General Hospital: Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna)

General Hospital: Willow is Likely

Another prime suspect is Willow. She recently bickered with Jack after she missed a funding meeting that related to the WSB. And then Willow demanded Jack get her blackmail evidence to use against Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson). Willow even recorded Jack confessing to abusing his power. And of course he did it to benefit Willow, but she’s ruthless.

If that recording is found on Willow’s phone, she might be implicated in Jack’s death. So if she’s involved, yeah, Willow might have confronted Jack and they argued and maybe Willow got physical and Jack fell and hit his head. If Willow realized he was dead, yeah, she would have kicked Jack into the pool and just run off. Plus, in a recent interview, actor Chris McKenna said he hopes that Willow’s the one who killed Jack. And with our leakers saying Willow is going to be sent to Ferncliff Jack’s death might be the reason why.

General Hospital: Sidwell Behind Jack’s Death?

Also, don’t forget Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota). He and Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) both wanted Jack Brennan out of the way. Cullum tried to kill Jack at Turning Woods. So, Sidwell might have picked up where Cullum left off. Even though Sidwell’s in Pentonville, he might have hired somebody to target Jack for revenge. We know Sidwell took a plea deal, but I’m confident he’s not going to stay behind bars and he might worry about Jack coming after him. So, it could have been a murder for hire that Sidwell orchestrated. And since Ava drugged Jack, it would have made the hit even easier.

We also have got to consider Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) as a possible suspect in Jack’s death. We just saw Anna plotting to murder Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), brought a tarp, and Anna lured Britt into the woods with Peter August (Wes Ramsey) saying, “Kill her.” And we know Anna despised Jack. If you recall, Anna tased, handcuffed, and threatened Jack when she saw him speaking to her granddaughter, Emma Scorpio Drake (Braedyn Bruner).

General Hospital: Anna Fully Capable

And Anna had a contentious relationship with Jack since their early WSB training days together. Plus, Peter might have told Anna to kill Jack. And after Ava drugged Jack and he was stumbling around, he might have run into Anna and ghost Peter told her it’s the perfect time. Kill Jack now. No one will ever know. So Anna might have clocked him in the head and kicked Jack into the pool or held Jack Brennan under until the bubbles stopped.

We’re now on a countdown to see how long it’ll take Outback to dig up enough of Jack for other people to get suspicious. And then they will all go out to the nature preserve and at that point they are going to find his body. And since we know Tristan is going to be involved, you know, maybe it’ll be him or it could be a coroner that determines the cause of death. But based on the spoilers, I think Tristan looks into it. And then we may get a who-dunnit Jack Brennan mystery. And if so, I expect it to hit during November sweeps, which kicks off towards the very end of October and runs for four weeks.

Bold and the Beautiful: Li Finnegan Puts Finn on Blast Over Steffy

Published

on

The Bold and the Beautiful: Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) - Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan)

The Bold and the Beautiful sees Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) nearly talked into Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor)’s crazy surrogacy scheme.

And when it all comes out, as we know it will, I could see Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) turning on her daughter-in-law and telling her son Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), “You need to dump Steffy right now.” There are quite a few reasons to think Li is going to have a really extreme reaction to this surrogacy plan, to the cheating, and to the lies Steffy and Carter are going to keep telling.

Bold and the Beautiful: Carter Plays Dirty and Corners Steffy

So, despite Steffy telling Carter no on his suggested surrogacy scheme, of course, Carter didn’t stop. He ran over to Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire) and sold her on Steffy being their egg donor and surrogate. And then Carter told Daphne, “Go talk to Steffy.” So with Daphne coming to Steffy about it and Carter pressuring Steffy, she’s going to cave and I think agree to Carter’s insane scheme. Steffy really wants to come clean to Finn about the drunken one night stand, but it doesn’t look like Steffy will do it.

And that is her one shot to save her marriage—honesty. But Carter has got Steffy talked out of it soon. And Carter’s going to convince Steffy the truth never has to come out. And I mean, a DNA test would prove nothing because it would be Carter and Steffy’s child biologically, whether it’s the egg donor surrogate lie or not. The only issue is timing. Carter and Steffy need to fake this surrogacy as soon as possible.

And I suspect they will. And then months down the road, maybe during the pregnancy, maybe even after Carter and Steffy’s baby is born, we know that the truth will come out. And that’s got me wondering about the reaction of Finn’s adoptive mom. I think Li’s going to have really strong opinions about this for several reasons.

Li Rages at Steffy on B&B

First being that Steffy cheated on her son, Finn, and for no justifiable reason. It was not his fault that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) peeped at his travel plans and then hijacked his trip. Finn demanded that Sheila go home. He even bought her a ticket. And Sheila would have left if her flight hadn’t been delayed. And as we know, Finn didn’t invite Sheila along. Finn didn’t want her there.

He was going to tell Steffy, but then she threw her ring at Finn, left Monaco, got drunk, and slept with Carter. There’s no way Steffy can ever justify cheating in a way that will calm Li’s anger. She is going to be disgusted. And Steffy cannot really blame this on Sheila. There’s no world where Steffy says, “I cheated on Finn because Sheila followed him to Monaco.” And Li goes, “Okay, cool.”

So, the obvious reason for Li to explode on Steffy once the truth comes out is because she cheated on her son again. Because Li was ticked when Steffy cheated with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). And Li told Finn at the time she didn’t like the drama that Steffy was dragging into Finn’s life. And here we have again drama. That’s reason one.

Bold and Beautiful: Li Triggered by Trauma

The second reason ties back to Finn’s history. If you remember, Sheila and Jack Finnegan (Ted King) tricked Li with a big baby lie back in the day. Similar to the Carter and Steffy cheating, Li’s husband cheated on her with Sheila, and Jack got Sheila pregnant. And then Jack tricked Li into adopting the baby he had made with his side piece, Sheila. So Li is cool with Sheila now.

But this surrogacy scheme is probably going to remind Li of all that mess. And of course, she loves Finn, doesn’t regret adopting him, but Li still despises Jack for lying to her face. Now Steffy’s basically doing the same thing to Finn. And I think Li will despise Steffy for it. And adoption to cover cheating is almost the same as surrogacy to cover cheating. I can see it might trigger Li when the truth comes out about Steffy faking this surrogacy.

Li didn’t know until Finn was an adult exactly what happened. And when she found out, Li was horrified. She was furious. She immediately dumped Jack. And now Carter is kind of taking a page out of Jack’s playbook. And even though Carter’s the one who came up with the surrogacy scheme, Steffy will eventually go along with it. So Li is going to be absolutely furious with Steffy for tricking Finn and making him think Steffy is doing something amazing for her best friend Daphne.

The Bold and the Beautiful: Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) - Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan)The Bold and the Beautiful: Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) - Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan)
The Bold and the Beautiful: Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) – Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan)

Bold and the Beautiful: Steffy’s Lies Compound

We may see Finn hesitant about Steffy being a surrogate for Daphne. And I think Steffy’s going to have to sell it with more lies, about doing it out of the kindness of her heart to help Daphne and Carter’s baby dreams come true. Finn is then going to be singing Steffy’s praises to Li. You know, “Steffy’s so wonderful. This sacrifice is huge.” And Finn may tell Li, “Look how wonderful Steffy is. I don’t deserve her.” Blah blah blah. Except she’s not wonderful. She is participating in a sneaky plan and it’s all designed to cover up Carter and Steffy’s dirty secret and hide the fact they cheated on their spouses.

That’s how Li is going to see it. And yes, Finn’s mom loves Steffy, but Li’s also had concerns about Steffy in the past, especially when she found out she cheated with Liam. So to Li, when she’s looking at Steffy, this is a situation of fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. So Li won’t let Steffy fool her again or fool Finn. And I fully expect that when it all comes out, Li is going to turn against Steffy irrevocably. I think Li’s going to tell Finn, “You have to dump Steffy now. Walk away and just forget her.” Li may say, “Your dad Jack lied to me for decades. I won’t let you live like that. Dump Steffy now.”

Lives Blow Up on B&B

So, once it all comes out, once Daphne and Finn find out that Steffy and Carter lied to their faces, that they cheated, that they created this elaborate scheme to cover up their infidelity, clearly lives are going to be ruined. Steffy and Carter’s marriages are both going to go up in flames, and Steffy will be on her hands and knees begging, or she should be. Do you remember when Liam walked out on pregnant Steffy?

That was after Liam found the paternity test that she took for Kelly because she slept with his dad, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont). Steffy literally got on her knees and was clinging to Liam’s leg and begging him not to leave her. So, we better see Steffy do the same thing or something more extreme, trying to get Finn to stay. If Steffy begs, crawls, pleads, and cries, Finn may consider forgiving Steffy.

But Li might fight back and push Finn to go ahead and divorce Steffy because this is just one too many things to forgive. And I mean, now that Li and Sheila are friends, they’re both going to be furious with Steffy and protective of Finn. We might see Li and Sheila even gang up on him. They may go together and tell Finn, “You got to divorce Steffy, fight for custody of Hayes, and never look back.”

Steffy Torn Apart on Bold

Now, in Steffy’s defense, she legit wants to come clean to Finn. And we’ve seen Steffy in anguish trying to work up the nerve to tell Finn the terrible truth about her drunken one night stand. But Steffy’s had so many opportunities to come clean and she never did. So, we’ll see who takes the heat for it when Carter’s scheme is exposed because if you remember, the Forresters ultimately blamed Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) for the coup. That was another of Carter’s schemes. She was fired and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Eric Forrester (John McCook) forgave Carter.

And if The Bold and the Beautiful sticks to that, you know, Steffy could take all the blame for this, which would be insane since Carter’s the one heavily pressuring her into it. Either way, Steffy’s going to face losing Finn and Li may play a strong role in the end of Steffy’s marriage, because this whole thing is going to remind her of what Jack and Sheila pulled on her.

Jensen Ackles’ Return Officially Confirmed for ‘Tracker’ Season 4

Published

on

tracker-poster.jpg

Jensen Ackles will make his official return early in Tracker Season 4, following his last appearance in the Season 3 finale, “The Best Ones,” which aired on May 24, 2026. In that episode, which ended with a major mystery, Colter Shaw (Justin Hartley) remains unaware of certain truths, as his estranged brother Russell Shaw (Ackles) shields him from discovering what their father did to him as a child.

Ackles was cast as Russell in Tracker in April 2024. The role came months after the series premiered, and he first appeared in Season 1’s penultimate episode “Off the Books,” which aired on May 12, 2024. In that episode, Russell asks Colter for help finding a missing former Army buddy who has been acting paranoid for weeks, while their complicated family history and tensions over their father’s death loom over their reunion.

Confirming Ackles’ return in the upcoming Tracker season, Hartley told TV Insider:

“Well, right now he is about probably 100 meters away from me. He’s in at least one [episode], and we’ll have him back when we can. I think probably in the new year, we’ll have him back for a few.”

When Russell returns, rather than provide answers about the file he read last season, he will come for his brother’s help. According to Hartley, one of his friends is in grave trouble, “not a self-inflicted thing,” but because of an unexpected situation. So Russell thinks of his brother Colter, whom he believes can help. “So, he reaches out, and, of course, Colter’s willing to help, and it reunites the two brothers, and they go on this pretty epic journey,” Hartley added.

Casting Has Been Completed
Your Franchise Is…

Four action series. One of them is built around exactly the way you
handle pressure, people, and a room that has just gone very quiet. Here is where you would survive
the trilogy, and probably headline it.

John Wick · Chapters 1–4 · 2014–2023

John Wick

You are precision with a grudge. You don’t posture, you don’t
escalate, and you don’t warn anybody twice. That is exactly why the people who know you are
so careful never to be the reason you start.

  • The Wick films run on discipline: an underworld with actual etiquette, a hero who
honours every rule of it, and a world that unravels the instant someone breaks one
    against him.
  • You share that quality. You are extraordinarily reasonable right up to the line, and
    then completely immovable past it.
  • Focus, commitment and sheer will. You’d be the one carrying grief through three sequels
and turning it into technique rather than noise.
  • People wouldn’t call you dangerous. They’d say your name quietly and let that do the
    work.

The Fast and the Furious · Fast X · 2001–2023

Fast & Furious

You understand the thing the whole franchise is secretly about:
the cars are spectacular, but the crew is the point. You collect people, you keep them, and
you’d drive through a building for any one of them.

  • This series went from street racing to orbit without ever changing its actual subject,
because loyalty scales and plot doesn’t have to.
  • You have the same instinct. You build a family out of whoever turns up, and then you
defend it past the point of reason.
  • You’d thrive here because the franchise rewards exactly your strengths: warmth, nerve,
an absolute refusal to leave anyone behind, and a relaxed relationship with physics.
  • The mission can wait. The barbecue cannot.

Mission: Impossible · The Final Reckoning · 1996–2025

Mission: Impossible

You over-prepare and then take the dangerous part yourself
anyway. It looks like control, but it’s really responsibility. You have never worked out how
to ask somebody else to carry the risk.

  • This is the franchise of the plan that collapses on schedule: the team, the mask, the
rooftop, and the one person sprinting flat out because sprinting is all that’s left.
  • You share that refusal to accept an outcome. Told the odds, you treat them as an
    administrative error.
  • You’d thrive here because these films reward competence and loyalty in equal measure.
The mission matters, but nobody on the team gets left on the wrong side of a door.
  • Some people delegate the cliff. You have never once been that person.

Die Hard · A Good Day to Die Hard · 1988–2013

Die Hard

You are not the most trained person in the building, the best
equipped, or the one anybody would have picked. You are simply the one still standing at the
end, which turns out to be the only qualification that matters.

  • Die Hard invented the modern action hero by making him mortal: outgunned, out-planned,
bleeding, and extremely funny about it.
  • You share that stubbornness. Adversity doesn’t make you noble, it makes you sarcastic,
and then it makes you unstoppable.
  • You’d thrive here because these films reward improvisation and nerve over preparation,
and you’ve never had the luxury of preparing anyway.
  • You didn’t want any of this. You just declined to be the person who let it happen.

Colter and Russell Are in a Good Place in ‘Tracker’ Season 4

When the brothers first reunited in Tracker, they were estranged, with Colter suspecting that Russell might be involved in their father’s death. However, they’ve since made amends on screen. Still, Russell may be hiding something from Colter, but that most likely won’t affect their relationship in this upcoming season, according to Hartley, who confirmed they will be in a good place.

“I don’t think necessarily he’s suspecting anything new. I also think that he always assumes that his brother is keeping something from him. So, I don’t know if it completely changes. I don’t think there’s anything new necessarily about his brother, new suspicions, but I think that this lingering suspicion that his brother’s always keeping something from him is still there.”

Inspired by Jeffery Deaver‘s bestselling novel The Never Game, Tracker follows lone-wolf survivalist Colter, who, driven by the troubles of his past, uses his instincts to earn a living by finding the missing. The action drama premiered on February 11, 2024, to critical acclaim, with the first season currently holding an 89% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. It was renewed for Season 4 on January 22, 2026.

Tracker Season 4 premieres on October 4, 2026, on CBS, with the premiere episode also streaming on Paramount+. Stay tuned to Collider for more information.

Apple TV Officially Reveals Its Biggest Expansion Yet

Published

on

widow-s-bay-poster.jpg

The 2010s were the golden age of streaming. It seemed like a new streaming platform launched every day. The reality is very different now, with some services discontinued, others reorganized, and some bundled to better appeal to subscribers. Since its debut on November 1, 2019, Apple TV has weathered all the storms of streaming and carved a niche for itself. Still, Apple TV has its limitations. As part of a tech conglomerate, the streamer has had to prove itself to the industry and subscribers who were initially skeptical.

The streamer is known for its ability to adapt books into polished sci-fi and thriller shows. Shows like For All Mankind, Hijack, and Widow’s Bay have eased those fears. In recent years, the service has experimented more with comedies and genre-bending shows, and those experiments have paid off. Apple TV is giving dominant streaming services like Netflix and HBO Max a run for their money, especially in major awards. In this year’s Emmys, the streamer took home more Emmys than Netflix for the first time ever. However, Apple TV is also limited in availability, and while it has done well in the markets where it’s available, it is yet to properly compete with global powerhouses like Netflix and Prime Video.

Apple’s recent move positions the service well in the global streaming market. Apple TV has officially expanded its availability to more countries beginning this September. While unveiling iCloud+ to over 100 countries globally, Apple has now introduced Apple TV to 59 more countries, bringing its availability to 179 countries and territories worldwide. This puts the service close to competitors like Netflix, which is available in 190 countries, and Prime Video, available in 240 countries and territories. iCloud+ bundles together cloud storage, Apple TV, and Apple Arcade for as little as $0.99. This rollout primarily targets low-income and/or low-adoption countries, giving them access to 50 GB of cloud storage, the Apple TV Originals library, hundreds of free games without in-app purchases, and a lower Apple Music subscription cost.

What Fantasy World Do You Belong To?
Middle-earth · Grand Line · The Continent · Camp Half-Blood

Pick your magic, your crew, where you want to wake up and who you would rather be fighting, and we will tell you which world you actually belong in. Four are open to you: an ancient kingdom living through its last good age, an endless sea full of pirates, a continent that pays people to kill monsters, and a summer camp where the Greek gods are extremely real and mostly a nuisance.

🔱Camp Half-Blood(Percy Jackson)

01

What kind of power do you want?
Every one of these worlds runs on a completely different sort of magic.

02

Who is travelling with you?
Nobody gets through any of these stories entirely on their own.

03

Where do you want to wake up tomorrow?
The best fantasy is usually just somewhere you would genuinely like to live.

04

How are you making a living out there?
Even in fantasy somebody has to pay for the horse.

05

There is something in the woods. What do you do about it?
All four of these worlds keep something unpleasant out there in the dark.

06

Who is the villain of your story?
The enemy tells you far more about a world than the hero ever does.

07

What do you actually believe in out there?
Every world hands its heroes one rule and asks them to hold onto it.

A thousand years from now, how are you remembered?
Eight questions in, this is the one that decides your world.

The Map Is Drawn
Your World Is…

Four worlds and four completely different ideas of what a good life
looks like. This is where you belong, what it would ask of you, and what you would get back in
return.

The Rings of Power · Prime Video · Since 2022

Middle-earth

You belong somewhere old enough that the mountains have names and
somebody can still tell you who gave them. Middle-earth is for people who think the right
thing is worth doing even when it will not be finished in their lifetime.

  • This is the only world on the list where doing good is understood as a very long defeat,
fought anyway, by people who will never see how it ends.
  • You are drawn to grandeur, to white cities and deep forges and the sense that almost
everything you touch is older than your entire family line.
  • The Rings of Power is set in the last good age before it all goes wrong, which gives
every quiet scene in it a slightly unbearable weight.
  • You would take the hard road, and you would take it on foot.

One Piece · Manga since 1997 · Netflix 2023

The Grand Line

You want the sea, a crew, and absolutely nobody telling you where
you are allowed to go. The Grand Line is the world for people whose main ambition in life is
finding out what is over there.

  • One Piece has run for decades on one very simple engine, which is a group of people who
each want something impossible and have decided to go and get it together.
  • You collect people. Your ideal crew is a set of misfits who were each written off
somewhere else before you turned up and offered them a better idea.
  • The world is enormous and deliberately ridiculous, and the emotional gut punches land
harder because of that rather than in spite of it.
  • You would set sail knowing the map runs out, which is more or less the entire point of
    it.

The Witcher · Netflix · Since 2019

The Continent

You would rather be feared and useful than liked and useless. The
Continent is a world where the monsters are the straightforward part of the job and the
people are where it all gets complicated.

  • Witchers get paid to do what nobody else will and resented for existing at all, which is
a trade most people would refuse and you would probably accept.
  • You have no real illusions about which side is the good one, largely because on the
Continent that question tends to have a disappointing answer.
  • The best of these stories are not about the fighting. They are about somebody with a
rigid code being repeatedly cornered into caring about people.
  • You would take the coin, finish the job properly, and be out of town before the story
    got told wrong.

Percy Jackson · Disney+ · Since 2023

Camp Half-Blood

You want the myths to be real and loose in the actual world, and
you want to find out at about thirteen that you were never anywhere near as ordinary as
everybody kept telling you.

  • Percy Jackson takes the oldest stories we have and drops them into car parks and diners,
which makes the gods considerably funnier and a great deal worse.
  • You would be the kid every school gave up on, who turns out to have been built for
something nobody thought to test for.
  • The series is genuinely about friendship rather than destiny, and it says so out loud
every time a prophecy tries to get in the way.
  • Camp Half-Blood is the real fantasy here: a place where the thing that made you
difficult everywhere else is the thing that makes you belong.

Where Is Apple TV Expanding To Now?

Countries benefiting include Barbados, Nigeria, Kenya, Turkey, Qatar, and more. The US, EU, Canada, and other countries not on the official list are not eligible for the offer. However, residents of these countries could also benefit indirectly, especially when traveling, because they no longer need a VPN or to pause their Apple TV shows. The rollout has already begun and will continue throughout September. This move lets Apple TV’s shows reach more people and cements it as a premium destination for entertainment.

Watch hit Apple TV shows like Widow’s Bay in more countries and stay tuned to Collider for more updates.

Resident Evil Reboot Sets Franchise Box Office Record

Spider-Man: Brand New Day has officially made box office history.

The Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios blockbuster has surpassed Star Wars: The Force Awakens to become the highest-grossing movie of all time at the domestic box office, ending a record that had stood for more than a decade.

The Tom Holland-led film has now earned approximately $936.77 million in North America, narrowly passing the $936.66 million domestic total earned by The Force Awakens. Even more impressive, Brand New Day reached the record after just 47 days in theaters.

The milestone is the latest in an extraordinary theatrical run for the fourth Tom Holland Spider-Man movie.

Brand New Day opened with $360 million domestically, setting a new record for the biggest domestic opening weekend in box office history. The film subsequently became the fastest movie ever to cross every major domestic milestone from $400 million through $900 million.

Its record-breaking performance has also extended far beyond North America. Spider-Man: Brand New Day has earned approximately $2.45 billion worldwide, placing it among the highest-grossing movies ever released globally.

Lucasfilm Congratulates Spider-Man

Following the record being broken, Lucasfilm and the official Star Wars social media account acknowledged Brand New Day taking the crown from The Force Awakens.

“Impressive. Most Impressive.”

Lucasfilm then congratulated director Destin Daniel Cretton, Tom Holland, Sony Pictures, Marvel Studios and the entire Brand New Day team on setting the new domestic box office record.

The studio also shared artwork featuring Spider-Man alongside X-Wings with the message:

“The Force is strong with you! Congratulations from Lucasfilm.”

The gesture continues a long-running Hollywood tradition in which filmmakers and studios publicly congratulate one another when a major box office record changes hands.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day [Marvel studios/Sony]

A Record More Than a Decade in the Making

Star Wars: The Force Awakens had occupied the top spot since its historic theatrical run following its December 2015 release.

Other enormous blockbusters came close during the years that followed. Avengers: Endgame, for example, finished with more than $858 million domestically but was unable to catch The Force Awakens.

Now Spider-Man has finally done it.

And Brand New Day isn’t finished yet. The movie remains in theaters, meaning its new all-time domestic record will continue to grow.

Young and Restless Next Week: Sally’s Big Day in Chaos as Mr. Kitty Vanishes

Published

on

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope)

The Young and the Restless spoilers for the week of September 21st talk about Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope)’s wedding possibly heading for doom for a couple of reasons. Plus, is Mr. Kitty dead or does Patty Williams‘s (Stacy Haiduk) feline have nine lives and a hidden higher purpose?

We’ve got the latest Y&R spoilers for the week of September 21st-25th, including Claire Grace Newman (Hayley Erin) making a horrifying discovery. Plus, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) warns somebody and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) gets a big surprise from family.

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Sally’s Big Day

All right, first let’s talk about Sally’s big day. At the end of this week, we’ve got her having a rough moment while Billy is over at the Abbott Mansion talking to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Muhney). They’re talking about crazy Patty, who sent a creepy package to Jack. So, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) is really worried about Patty, but Jack thinks they all need a distraction.

And so he and Kyle start talking about planning a bachelor party for Billy because his wedding to Sally is coming up next month. So, Diane mentions that Patty might show up and ruin Billy’s wedding, but Kyle tells his mom, “Don’t spin out.” And Billy doesn’t even want to consider that he might need a SWAT team at the wedding. Diane also complains that the cops can’t seem to track down Patty. So, that’s one reason that Billy and Sally’s wedding might be disastrous.

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Audra Freaks Out

And Audra has another major concern, and it all starts with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) running into Sally up at the GCAC. So, Chelsea sees her and is immediately worried because Sally is just uncontrollably crying and she asks Sally, “Do you need me to call an ambulance?” But she tells Chelsea, “No, I just can’t stop crying.” and she’s worried that Sally’s having a panic attack and Chelsea goes to get her some water.

Basically, Sally’s worried about how she’s going to cope when the baby gets there. Chelsea reassures Sally and says that she’s not going to be doing everything alone. And Chelsea reminds Sally that she’s got friends, she’s got a wonderful partner, they’ll all support her. And Sally is also crying because the last time she was pregnant, she lost her baby before this point. So, she’s never been this stage of pregnancy. So Chelsea’s talking about the joys of motherhood and says Sally is going to be a wonderful mom and she thanks Chelsea, but then Audra shows up and basically runs Chelsea off.

And Audra tells Sally that her pal Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) can’t be there for the wedding. So, that means Sally is down one bridesmaid. Audra mentions that she and her sister Coco Spectra (Ashley Campbell), who has been recast from the actress we saw on The Bold and the Beautiful. By the way, she’s now going to be played by Ashley Campbell. So Audra talks about her and Coco planning a bachelorette party.

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Shirley & Coco Return

We’re also going to see Sally’s grandma in town for her and Billy’s wedding. It’s the same actress who played her on The Bold and the Beautiful. Shirley Spectra (Patrika Darbo) is going to be Shirley Spectra. Again, if you don’t know Sally’s history, her parents are scammers and her grandma Shirley Spectra mostly raised Sally and Coco.

So, we’ll see them both in a couple of weeks when they come to Genoa City to throw Sally a bachelorette party and attend the wedding. So, Audra is griping about Sally being friendly with Chelsea. Sally tells Audra she doesn’t hold a grudge on Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) or Chelsea for cheating.

And Sally says Chelsea was really sweet and that before the cheating incident, Sally and Chelsea got along well. Audra doesn’t like it and tells Sally, “Next time just call me.” So now the other possible scenario that could cause a disaster at Billy and Sally’s wedding because Billy shows up after Audra splits and Sally tells Billy Chelsea really helped her. Totally calmed her down.

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Sally’s Surprising Suggestion

And Billy says Chelsea used to calm him down also. And then Sally shocks Billy and says she wants Chelsea to be her third bridesmaid to replace Chloe who as you know is a mutual friend of Sally and Chelsea’s, though we may see Sally and Billy with a different opinion on this because you know what happens if Chelsea is a bridesmaid. That means Adam will be her plus one and he’ll be at Billy and Sally’s wedding and there’s no way that Billy wants to see that happen.

But then again, Billy’s probably not going to tell Sally no about something that she wants for her big day. So next week, The Young and the Restless spoilers have the bride and her bestie getting real. Audra’s telling Sally that she’ll always be in her corner, but Audra says she wouldn’t be her best friend if she didn’t tell Sally, she thinks she’s making a really, really big mistake. So, I’m guessing that Audra does not want Sally to have Chelsea as a bridesmaid.

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Wedding Chaos Ahead?

Now, official The Young and the Restless spoilers for fall say to expect the unexpected at Sally and Billy’s wedding. And Adam Newman being there to watch Billy marry Sally, his ex, the woman that Adam once loved, head over heels would be really wild. Plus, crazy Patty may totally crash the event. Maybe even with Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) as Patty’s plus one who’s trying to stop whatever she’s doing.

Now, before we talk about the dead kitty, let’s talk about more drama for Billy because also in Y&R next week spoilers, Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) is in town. She shows up over at Billy and Sally’s place and Billy asks, “What is Tracy doing there and if everything is okay?” And Tracy tells Billy, “You tell me.”

So, fall spoilers say that Ashley and Tracy are going to be front and center at Billy and Sally’s wedding. But The Young and the Restless spoilers also say that Tracy and Ashley have differing opinions on Sally. So, I’m wondering if Tracy’s trying to stop the wedding or if she warns Billy that Ashley may try and interfere. I hope not.

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Mr. Kitty’s Fate

Okay, now let’s talk about Mr. Kitty. That stuffed cat is very precious to Patty and she just sent Mr. Kitty to Jack kind of as a show of affection and concern for him. And Diane threw Mr. Kitty into the trash bin in the living room. But I wonder if there’s more to Patty’s stuffy than you see at a glance because we all know she’s totally crazy and fixated on Jack.

So, I don’t see Patty letting Jack go. I also don’t see her letting Mr. Kitty go that easily. So, I wonder if Patty’s cat came into the Abbott Mansion with a motive. Patty might have planted a bug in the little stuffed cat to find out what is going on with Jack. And since Diane tossed Mr. Kitty, we could see Patty circling around to get the cat out of the bag. Otherwise, that poor little whiskered guy is dead meat thanks to Diane.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope)The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope)
The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope)

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Jordan Strikes Again?

Also, next week at the tack house, Claire is looking at her phone and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is concerned and asks her daughter what’s wrong and Claire tells Victoria she’s back. She said Aunt Jordan Howard (Colleen Zenk) strikes again. That’s a really interesting thing to say, but I think it’s hyperbole because as far as we know, Jordan Howard is dead. She drank poison tea and kicked the bucket eighteen months ago.

So maybe Claire is just referencing some kind of reminder of something that Jordan did because it would be absolutely insane if Y&R resurrected Claire’s crazy aunt. Also, if you didn’t hear, Cait Fairbanks is taping again at Y&R. She’s going to be in new scenes as Tessa. So hopefully we’ll see more of Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) with Tessa and maybe baby Aria, too.

Alan Ritchson’s ‘Reacher’ Is Officially the #1 Series in the World

Published

on

reacher-poster.jpg

Lots of people like their shows to be sprawling, complex narratives that unfold across several timelines, several seasons, with twists, turns, cliffhangers, and shocking deaths of main characters. Then, there’s Reacher. A large man enters town, finds a diner, drinks his substantial weight in coffee, doles out justice to the local bad guys via the medium of his turkey-sized fists, and catches the first Greyhound outta there. Four seasons in, it turns out audiences still haven’t gotten tired of that particular formula.

Alan Ritchson‘s Reacher has officially returned to the top of Nielsen’s streaming rankings, generating a massive 1.5 billion minutes watched across Prime Video during the week of August 10-16. Even more impressively, Nielsen reported that 79% of that viewing — roughly 1.19 billion minutes — came from the three Season 4 episodes released on August 12.

That means Season 4’s opening episodes alone would still have been enough to make Reacher the week’s biggest streaming title. The full series easily finished ahead of Apple TV’s Ted Lasso, which recorded 996 million minutes, while Paramount+’s Lioness followed with 955 million. Now, one small note: Season 4’s launch was lower than the opening weeks of the previous three seasons, which Nielsen measured at between 1.69 billion and 1.84 billion minutes. But still, the latest performance still ranks as the fifth-biggest Nielsen week in the history of Reacher.

Which Sci-Fi World Would You Survive?
The Matrix · Mad Max · Blade Runner · Dune · Star Wars

Five universes. Five completely different ways the future went wrong — or sideways, or up in flames. Only one of them is the world your instincts were built for. Eight questions will figure out which dystopia, galaxy, or desert wasteland you’d actually make it out of alive.

🏜️Dune

🚀Star Wars

01

You sense something is deeply wrong with the world around you. What do you do?
The first instinct is often the truest one.

02

In a world of scarcity, what resource do you guard most fiercely?
What we protect reveals what we believe survival actually requires.

03

What kind of threat keeps you up at night?
Fear is useful data — if you’re honest about what you’re actually afraid of.

04

How do you deal with authority you don’t trust?
Every dystopia has a power structure. Your approach to it determines everything.

05

Which environment could you actually endure long-term?
Survival isn’t just tactical — it’s physical, psychological, and very much about where you are.

06

Who do you want in your corner when things fall apart?
The company you keep is the clearest signal of who you actually are.

07

Where do you draw the line — if you draw one at all?
Every survivor eventually faces a moment that tests what they’re actually made of.

08

What would actually make survival worth it?
Staying alive is one thing. Having a reason to is another.

Your Fate Has Been Calculated
You’d Survive In…

Your answers point to the world your instincts were built for. This is the universe your temperament, your survival instincts, and your particular brand of stubbornness were made for.

The Resistance, Zion

The Matrix

You took the red pill a long time ago — probably before anyone offered it to you. You’re a systems thinker who can’t help but notice the seams in things.

  • You’re drawn to understanding how the system works before figuring out how to break it.
  • You’d find the Resistance, or it would find you — your instinct for spotting constructed realities is the machines’ worst nightmare.
  • You function best when you have access to information and the freedom to act on it.
  • The Matrix built an airtight prison. You’d be the one probing the walls for the door.

The Wasteland

Mad Max

The wasteland doesn’t reward the clever or the well-connected — it rewards those who are hard to kill and harder to break. That’s you.

  • You don’t need comfort, community, or a cause larger than the next horizon.
  • You need a vehicle, a clear threat, and enough fuel to outrun it — and you’re good at all three.
  • You are unsentimental enough to survive that world, and decent enough — just barely — to be something more than another raider.
  • In the wasteland, that distinction is everything.

Los Angeles, 2049

Blade Runner

You’d survive here because you know how to exist in moral grey areas without losing yourself completely.

  • You read people accurately, keep your circle small, and ask the questions others prefer not to answer.
  • In a city where humanity is a legal designation rather than a feeling, you hold onto something that keeps you functional.
  • You’re not a hero. But you’re not lost, either.
  • In Blade Runner’s world, that distinction is everything.

Arrakis

Dune

Arrakis is the most hostile environment in the known universe — and you are precisely the kind of person it rewards.

  • Patience, discipline, and political awareness are your core strengths — and on Arrakis, they’re survival tools.
  • You understand that the long game matters more than any single victory.
  • Others come to Dune and are consumed by it. You’d learn its logic and earn its respect.
  • In time, you wouldn’t just survive Arrakis — you’d begin to reshape it.

A Galaxy Far, Far Away

Star Wars

The galaxy far, far away is vast, loud, and in a constant state of violent political upheaval — and you wouldn’t have it any other way.

  • You find meaning in being part of something larger than yourself — a cause, a crew, a rebellion.
  • You’d gravitate toward the Rebellion, or the fringes, or whatever pocket of the galaxy still believes the Empire’s grip can be broken.
  • You fight — not because you have to, but because standing aside isn’t something you’re capable of.
  • In Star Wars, that willingness is what makes all the difference.

What’s ‘Reacher’ Season 4 About?

Season 4 premiered on August 12, adapting Lee Child’s Gone Tomorrow, the 13th novel in his Jack Reacher series. The series moves the plot from New York to Philadelphia, and begins with Reacher aboard a subway where he spots an anxious woman displaying the textbook signs of a suicide bomber. His attempts to intervene end up dragging him into an even bigger conspiracy, as is the custom for the big man. From there, all hell breaks loose.

Ritchson leads the season as Jack Reacher alongside Sydelle Noel (GLOW) as Theresa Lee, Christopher Rodriguez-Marquette (Barry) as Jacob Mark, Agnez Mo as Lila Hoth, Kevin Corrigan (The Penguin) as Detective Docherty, Kevin Weisman (Alias) as Russell Plum, Marc Blucas (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) as John Sansom, and Kathleen Robertson (Murder in the First) as Elspeth Sansom.

Reacher Seasons 1-4 and the new spin-off Neagley are streaming on Prime Video. Production on Season 5 is already underway.

So now that Lani and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) are staying in Salem, Lani needs purpose. And before she was filling in at Sweet Bits for her sister Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens), you’ll remember Lani was one of Salem‘s finest detectives.

But one fateful night because of Paulina’s ex-husband, Lani lost her freedom and her badge. And in case you forgot, that was back in two thousand twenty-two, we met this guy TR Coates, who was also known as Ray. He was Paulina’s abusive ex-husband. And he also happened to be Lani’s biological father. Ray came to Salem claiming he changed and wanted to build a relationship with his daughter Lani.

 Paulina’s Heartbreaking Decision on DOOL

And in the history the soap created, Paulina had given Lani to her sister to raise as an infant because Paulina didn’t want Lani around Ray’s abuse. And everybody assumed that Abe Carver (James Reynolds) had gotten Paulina’s sister pregnant. That’s why they thought he was Lani’s biological father for so many years. But when Ray showed up in Salem, Lani decided to get to know her biological dad, even though Paulina warned her not to do it. But Lani gave Ray some of her time anyway.

And of course, it turned out he had not changed. Not in the least. And during a confrontation involving drugs, Ray shot Eli Carver and put him into a coma. And when Eli woke up, he immediately told Lani that it was Ray who shot him. So Lani went running to protect her mom, Paulina. And when Lani got to Paulina’s apartment, Lani found Abe injured and unconscious, lying on the floor, and psycho Ray was about to attack Paulina.

Days of our Lives: Lani Confesses

So, acting on instinct, Lani fatally shot Ray. And in his dying moments, Lani’s biological father Ray said he loves her and that he forgave Lani for shooting him. Then Paulina claimed she was the one who shot her abusive ex, Ray. And Paulina said she did it because he hurt Abe and she wanted to protect Lani from Ray’s wrath. But the guilt overwhelmed her and Lani kept having horrific hallucinations of Ray’s ghost from beyond the grave. So Lani decided she couldn’t let Paulina go to prison for a crime that she had committed. And then at Abe and Paulina’s June wedding, Lani confessed that she’s the one who killed Ray and Lani turned herself in.

Lani’s Prison Stint on Days

She got a plea deal and then she was sent to prison. Now, this was part of Sal Stowers’ exit from Days of Our Lives at the time because instead of going to nearby Statesville prison, Lani wound up sent to a women’s facility in Maryland. From there, Eli took a job with the FBI office in Maryland and relocated with their twins, Jude and Carver. So, they had decided to move Lani out of state, partly to protect her from other inmates because she had been a cop and had busted a lot of them.

Plus, Eli wanted to stay close to his wife and so they were both written out of Days of Our Lives. And then a year later, Lani got furlough when Abe was presumed dead after a staged drowning by crazy cat lady Whitley King. So, Lani got a temporary release from prison to attend Abe’s memorial back in Salem and they let her go there wearing an ankle monitor. But as Lani recently said to her brother Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews), “Once the detective, always the detective.” Lani was suspicious and thought that Abe was still alive.

Lani Uncovers the Truth on DOOL

And of course, Lani was correct. So, long story short, she investigated and confronted Whitley’s accomplice, Jerry Apprentice. He’d been pretending to be Theo. And Lani tracked down Abe and found him in Whitley’s creepy fake cat lair. And at that point, Abe had amnesia. So, Whitley drugged Lani and dumped her at the docks. She was going to stage a second drowning because Whitley was diabolical.

Lucky for Lani, the US Marshalls tracked her ankle monitor and rescued her from Whitley just in time and that meant Abe was also rescued. And then Lani’s furlough ended and she was sent back to prison in Maryland and Lani finished her sentence. That was in February two thousand twenty-four.

Lani Misses Law Enforcement on DOOL

So, we’ve seen Eli and Lani back now and then to support Abe and Paulina and to visit Julie. More recently, Lani, Eli, and the twins relocated back to Salem, and Lani’s been helping her sister Chanel with Sweet Bits and with babysitting. Plus, Lani’s been busy being a mom of twins and a wife. But like Eli, Lani loved being law enforcement. She really misses being a cop. And of course, Lani’s currently on probation.

She didn’t even have a bite of the medicinal brownie she made to help Chanel’s chemotherapy. And Lani told Chanel that she just couldn’t risk it. So, to me that points out Lani is still playing by the rules. And since she’s been back in Salem, not only did Lani help Theo find Lexie Carver (Nikki Crawford) when she was missing and dying in the DiMera tunnels, but most recently Lani just stopped a mugging when she happened to be in the right place at the right time.

Days of our Lives: Lani Saves Holly

So, Maggie had just given Holly a necklace. It was from her dad, Daniel Jonas. And a knife-wielding mugger wanted the necklace and threatened to stab Holly when she didn’t hand it over. So, Lani got in there, saved the day. A total hero. But she doesn’t want public recognition for helping Holly. And Lani turned down Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart)’s offer to be the first guest on the Spectator‘s new podcast. Lani was adamant she did not want kudos. She said she was just doing the right thing by saving Holly.

And later we saw Paulina consulting Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) skiing from a PR perspective how she could ask her former running mate who is now governor to pardon Lani before he leaves office at the end of his term because right now Lani can’t be in law enforcement because of her felony conviction.

Lani a PI on DOOL?

So, I’ve said before it would be fun to see Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) at Black Patch get Lani as a new private eye partner, but we know her first love is being a cop. So, if Paulina plays her cards right with the governor, Lani could be pardoned and get her badge back at the Salem PD.

Paulina mentioned to Stephanie that police commissioner Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) is looking for more cops. They are short staffed since JJ Devereux quit and decided to go back to being an EMT. Elia Kantu, who plays top cop Jada Hunter, announced her exit from Days of Our Lives back in June after she’d been in the role for four years. Elia confirmed that she had already wrapped up taping at Peacock, but we know Salem can’t go without a top cop.

Days of our Lives: Jada Leaving Salem

So, Jada should be leaving Salem in early two thousand twenty-seven. And her fellow cop Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer), who’s also her lover, isn’t around much. And we know actor Brandon Beemer remains on recurring status at the soap.

So I think Paulina’s request will be successful and we could see Lani rejoin the force in November sweeps. She’s still a detective at heart and would probably be really grateful to her mom Paulina if she got her job back that she loved so much. So, maybe Lani will wind up the next police commissioner who takes over after Jada leaves.
