‘The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins’ Most Unexpected Twist Yet Rewrites the Sitcom

Published

on

fall-and-rise-reggie-dinkins-03

Editor’s Note: The following contains spoilers for ‘The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins’ Episode 2

Summary

  • In an interview with Collider, Tracy Morgan and Erika Alexander unpack Episode 2’s major pivot, including the fallout from Reggie’s so-called “food poisoning” story.
  • Co-creators/showrunners Robert Carlock and Sam Means talk about slipping in 30 Rock Easter eggs while still letting the sitcom feel like its own weird, standalone world.
  • They also tease what’s ahead this season, especially the fun of “shuffling the deck” with unexpected character pairings to unlock new jokes and dynamics.

On the surface, NBC’s newest sitcom, The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins, is about a disgraced football star (Tracy Morgan) trying to rewrite his legacy. But it’s also about the guy holding the camera because, as these first two episodes prove, millennial filmmaker Arthur Tobin (Daniel Radcliffe) is not just there to “document” the former athlete. He’s there to poke around until that scar talks.

It’s why Episode 2’s “Nittany Means Big” hits as hard as it does. In Monday’s latest half-hour, we learn that Arthur isn’t satisfied with the clean version of Dinkins’ “food poisoning game.” Once he notices Reggie has Penn State newspapers dated before the game even happened, it’s all over, and the truth gets dragged into broad daylight, where we learn of a mascot theft plan, a gross trash-water escape, and vomiting that wasn’t a freak accident so much as a natural consequence of trash-water.

As Erika Alexander’s Monica accidentally gives away a crucial tell while Arthur interviews her for the documentary, the award-winning actress frames what that does to Reggie perfectly in an interview with Collider. “That’s the beginning of him showing that he’s an unreliable narrator about his own life,” she says as Reggie’s reaction is pure Reggie — anger, denial, and control-freak panic. But Morgan’s take on Alexander’s note is almost weirdly sincere: “Nah, the blow was to the public… The lie was to the public.”

It’s that denial that series co-creator Robert Carlock also points out that Reggie and Arthur share in common, and more so than their clashing egos. As the former showrunner for 30 Rock puts it, they both have “a scandal, a failure, or something that they feel like they need to get past.”

In our exclusive interviews with actors Morgan and Alexander, alongside showrunners, Carlock and Sam Means, we unpack how Episode 2’s “food poisoning” reveal rewrites Reggie’s myth, why Monica’s been carrying the fallout for years, how Arthur’s own scandal fuels his obsession with the truth — and what all of it sets up as the fallout only gets messier in the remaining eight episodes this season. Including those 30 Rock Easter eggs you might have spotted!

Erika Alexander Says the “Food Poisoning” Truth Proves Reggie’s an Unreliable Narrator

Reggie can’t take the truth behind the “food poisoning game,” and Monica’s buried frustration starts to surface in a way that changes everything.

COLLIDER: Episode 2 sort of reveals the truth behind the food poisoning game, and it reframes Reggie’s legend. Is the bigger blow that he lied to the public, or that he’s been lying to himself about what kind of player or person he was?

MORGAN: Nah, the blow was to the public. I know who I am! I know what I am. The lie was to the public. That was the bigger blow — when you betray the public. I play football! They believed in me! And then I gambled.

ALEXANDER: And you know what? That’s absolutely the truth. That’s the beginning of him showing that he’s an unreliable narrator about his own life. And they both shared the lie. Actually, she accidentally gave it away when Tobin was interviewing Monica. She didn’t mean to, but then suddenly it just pokes holes in a person that’s kind of tired of being a pincushion. Tracy doesn’t want all this stuff. He’s mad at her. He’s like, “Why did you tell him that?” And she’s right because Reggie can’t take it.

MORGAN: She called him a bearded infant.

ALEXANDER: [Laughs] Well, you know, that’s a pretty correct description.

’30 Rock’ left its audience wishing these series and movies were real.

Yeah, it is. [Laughs] Erika, Episode 2 makes it very clear that Monica has been carrying a lot of the history. What’s the one thing that you say you would say that she refuses to say out loud because she knows it would change everything?

ALEXANDER: I think that maybe as a woman and a protector of her family, she has dreams of her own, and that she’s tired of sort of sacrificing them for the messes that Reggie Dinkins keeps causing in her life, and she wants that freedom. She’s right about the agency, and she wants that. I think she’ll refuse to say it, but maybe that’s her journey is to start to get more for her life and not just work for her ex-husband.

MORGAN: She ain’t going nowhere.

ALEXANDER: You see how it is?

MORGAN: She said that in the pilot. She said she don’t need me. I said, “Good, then go on with your bad behind.”

ALEXANDER: Tania, do you hear this?

MORGAN: And when I was outside with the radio, what happened? She came back to Papa. I had the radio, and she refused to let me put the album on, and she came right back to me.

ALEXANDER: What’s that syndrome called when a person can’t leave their torturer?

Stockholm syndrome.

ALEXANDER: Stockholm syndrome.

MORGAN: Stockholm!

ALEXANDER: That’s exactly what she’s got. [Laughs]

ALEXANDER: And he’s happy about it, Tania.

Robert Carlock Explains How Far ‘30 Rock’ Easter Eggs Can Go Without Overdoing It

Carlock explains the Easter eggs, and Sam Means co-signs that while the nods are fun, the show’s goal is still to be its own weird thing.

COLLIDER: I read an interview where Tina Fey, who is the show’s EP, said there are 30 Rock Easter eggs throughout the entire first season. What was the rule for you guys? How far should you go before it stops feeling like the same universe and becomes something new?

ROBERT CARLOCK: That’s a great way of putting it. I hadn’t thought of it. Part of it, to be honest, is like, “Well, we need a name for this wine. Well, we already have the Donaghy Estates label. Legal has already cleared it.” We did try to do one Easter egg that we tried to put in. We needed a name for a fancy store, and in the 30 Rock world, there was a store called Vattené, which means “go away” in Italian. Evidently, since then, someone has started a clothing store called Vattené, so it didn’t clear! Our own stupid name didn’t clear.

When does it get to be too much? I’m not sure. I don’t want this to be in the same universe as 30 Rock. I think maybe eventually, in Season 7, Tracy Jordan will play Reggie in the movie or in a sketch on The Girlie Show. But we do want it to share that DNA at the very least. It is a little nod both to hopefully people who liked that show and enjoy finding those little things, but also the promise of this is going to be a weird take on the world we live in and be full of jokes.

In Episode 2, that is the first time the show really punctures Reggie’s mythology with the truth behind the food poisoning game. When you built that reveal, what did you want the audience to realize about the stories that Reggie tells himself versus everyone else?

CARLOCK: There is a level of this. One of the reasons, Tania, that we wanted the characters to include the maker of the documentary, and for everyone to be aware of the documentary, is that idea, which I think is so prevalent today, where people are able to photograph themselves and celebrate themselves and promote themselves so easily and so readily. At its heart, this is a family comedy, but there is a level that you’re getting at, which is that theme of the way we try to present ourselves to the world. Reggie and Arthur, as well, and Monica, you discover, all have really significant reasons in their lives for wanting to maybe change the narrative that’s emerged, and take control. The show is about redemption and second acts, and that plays into it.

SAM MEANS: Yeah, what he said.

How Daniel Radcliffe Helped Fine-Tune Arthur for ‘The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins’

Means says Arthur was built for Radcliffe from day one, but the real magic is the Tracy-Daniel “feedback loop” once they’re in scenes together.

Sam, Daniel [Radcliffe] has such a specific comedic sort of rhythm. Did the Arthur character change when you saw Daniel in the part?

MEANS: That’s interesting, because we have worked with Daniel before. He was on the [Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt] interactive, and then he was also a voice on our animated show, Mulligan, so we’re very aware of his comedic chops, and we are excited to bring those to broadcast television, because I feel like a lot of people might not be familiar with them.

CARLOCK: And we wrote Arthur for him.

MEANS: Exactly. So from go, when we imagined the character of the director, the sort of self-important director coming in with his own agenda, we had Daniel in mind. So, it is very much written for him, but at the same time…

CARLOCK: You’re always learning.

MEANS: Yeah. Seeing him and Tracy together and how they interact, especially, creates a feedback loop. And we always consider the characters on our show as a collaboration with the actors who played them, and he’s very thoughtful about the character. He, maybe more than anyone, is coming to us having read the script and thought about it, with thoughts about his character and where it should be going, and even about jokes for other characters. He had cut a joke once for Tracy after the table, really just for room, just for time, and he came to us and said, “I really miss that joke.” [Laughs]

CARLOCK: And we put it back.

That pairing is not obvious. That’s what I love so much about ensembles, and this show does it so well. When you put them all together, there are different comedic elements, like when you put Bobby [Moynihan]’s character with Erika [Alexander]. There is something to be said for seeing different layers, so I do appreciate that.

‘The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins’ Will Stay Messy, but Relationships Are Going To Shift

Carlock says the fun is “shuffling the deck,” pairing characters who shouldn’t work together until they suddenly do, starting with a Rusty-Monica twist next.

THE FALL AND RISE OF REGGIE DINKINS -- "Put It on Your Cabbage!" Episode 103 -- Pictured: (l-r) Erika Alexander as Monica, Precious Way as Brina, Bobby Moynihan as Rusty Boyd Image via Scott Gries/NBC

If these first two episodes are proving that it’s never really a neat comeback story, what’s the next big turn that you’re excited for viewers to see that changes how we understand Reggie and Arthur’s partnership?

MEANS: I think one big thing is their relationship with each other. Obviously, they’re very, very different people, but they do have the same thing in their past, a scandal, a failure, or something that they feel like they need to get past, and they need redemption for. So, even though they’ll always be butting heads about what the documentary should be about, and on a very personal level, what a good life is. They also have this commonality and this common ground that, over the course of the season, even if Arthur is trying to push back against it on a professional level, ends up with them becoming friends.

CARLOCK: I think it’s a sort of a lesson, and you touched on it in your previous question, too, and we learned at 30 Rock, which is, how do you create an ensemble where there’s a ton of disagreement about what sandwiches to order and politics, and also all this overlap? And one of the really fun things about 30 Rock was like in Season 5, saying, “What would a Frank-Jack story be like?” and sort of going in immediately and just knowing the skills that these actors had, and saying, “What’s a Rusty-Monica story?” and realizing, “Oh, that can work. He has something to give her.” Surprisingly, it’s a sort of dating story in the third episode. Anyway, just shuffling the deck and seeing what the characters bring out of each other.

MEANS: Right off the bat, we wanted to get Monica and Brina together to hopefully subvert that ex-wife and new wife story that you might expect from the two of them, and also let their characters exist in a world that’s not defined necessarily by Reggie.

This interview has been edited and abridged for clarity and length.

The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins airs Mondays at 8:30 p.m. EST on NBC and streams the next day on Peacock.

The Voice Commentator Druski Teams Up With NBA All Stars for Season 29

Published

on

The Voice: Battle of Champions is poised to be one of the most legendary seasons yet.

Us Weekly can exclusively reveal that season 29 of NBC’s singing competition series will feature commentary from social media star and comedian Druski, in addition to multiple NBA legends including former Los Angeles Lakers star Derek Fisher.

“We’re your new coaches,” Druski, 31, shares in the must-see announcement. “Whoa, whoa. We’re actually not your new coaches. We’re just doing color commentary. My bad, bro. I get mixed up with the words. That’s my fault.”

All jokes aside, Druski will be joined by a string of NBA All Stars throughout the season, to align with Legendary February at NBC.

The Voice quickly became a success after it debuted on NBC in 2011, with Carson Daly as host and a group of successful coaches ready to find the next superstar. In the past month alone, NBC has aired Super Bowl LX, the NBA All-Star Game and the 2026 Winter Olympics. Meanwhile, NBA on NBC brings prime time NBA games to NBC and Peacock every Sunday night from February 1 through April 5.

“This ultra competitive season needs some expert analysts,” Druski shares in the clip. “And with me? NBA legend, the one and only Derek Fisher. We’re breaking down the competition from a whole new angle. We’ll be here throughout the blinds tracking every triple turn. This is going to be fun.”

Starting Monday night, coaches John Legend, Kelly Clarkson and Adam Levine will turn their red chairs if they like what they hear during the legendary Blind Auditions.

If multiple coaches turn, the singing contestant gets to pick which team they want to be on.

As an added twist to season 29, Battle of Champions will feature an all-new Triple Turn Competition and Super Steal.

“This season, triple turns matter,” Fisher, 51, says when describing the moment when all three coaches turn their red chairs and fight for a contestant. “The coach who wins the most gets a big advantage in the battles.”

Fisher knows a thing or two about being competitive. As Druski pointed out, the NBA player is the proud owner of five NBA championship rings thanks to his career primarily as a Los Angeles Laker.

He now serves as an advisor of The Play Equity Fund, an organization committed to providing the transformational power of sport and play to all children, in addition to his roles as an analyst on NBA on NBC.

Last December, millions of viewers cast their vote for the winner of The Voice season 28.

Tourette’s syndrome campaigner John Davidson has apologized for hurling the expletive N-word at Michael B. Jordan and Delroy Lindo as they presented an award at the BAFTAs over the weekend.

Davidson has garnered massive backlash since he made the remark, with actor Jamie Foxx blasting the whole thing as “unacceptable.”

Meanwhile, John Davidson’s black co-star has defended him, explaining how the syndrome makes him unable to control what he says.

John Davidson has apologized for using the N-word on black actors Michael B. Jordan and Delroy Lindo as they presented an award at the BAFTAs on Sunday.

During the high-profile event held at London’s Royal Festival Hall on Sunday, the Tourette’s campaigner was heard saying the expletive word to Jordan and Lindo,  but both actors kept their cool and didn’t react on stage.

Now, Davidson has released a statement to show just how sorry he is for his outburst while also thanking the organizers for making everyone aware of his condition.

“I wanted to thank BAFTA and everyone involved in the awards last night for their support and understanding and inviting me to attend the broadcast,” he said, per the Daily Mail. “I  appreciated the announcement to the auditorium in advance of the recording, warning everyone that my tics are involuntary and are not a reflection of my personal beliefs.”

He shared his joy on the warm round of applause he got after the announcement, explaining that it made him feel “welcomed and understood in an environment that would normally be impossible for me.”

John Davidson Says He Didn’t Do It Intentionally

Tourette’s Syndrome is a neurological condition that causes a person to make involuntary, repetitive movements or sounds called tics. Davidson also suffers from coprolalia, which is a condition that makes him involuntarily say socially unacceptable words or phrases, like when he famously shouted “f-ck the Queen” at Queen Elizabeth II in 2019 when he was awarded his MBE.

“In addition to the announcement by Alan Cumming, the BBC and BAFTA, I can only add that I am, and always have been, deeply mortified if anyone considers my involuntary tics to be intentional or to carry any meaning,” he notes in his statement.

“I was in attendance to celebrate the film of my life, I Swear, which, more than any film or TV documentary, explains the origins, condition, traits, and manifestations of Tourette Syndrome,” he continued. “I have spent my life trying to support and empower the Tourette’s community and to teach empathy, kindness, and understanding from others, and I will continue to do so.”

“I chose to leave the auditorium early in the ceremony as I was aware of the distress my tics were causing,” he shared.

The Tourette’s Advocate Garnered Backlash For The Remark And His Apology

Davidson’s life story is what inspired the film “I Swear,” which aims to create awareness about the condition and to shed light on the challenges those suffering from it face.

However, the campaigner, who has had it since age 12, faced backlash, particularly from Jamie Foxx, who didn’t believe it was an involuntary act, labeling it as “unacceptable.”

“Out of all the words you could’ve said, Tourette’s makes you say that. Nah, he meant that sh-t. Unacceptable,” the Oscar winner said.

When he shared his apology, several netizens also slammed Davidson, claiming his apology wasn’t earnest, especially as he failed to mention Jordan and Lindo by name.

One person on X wrote, “He didn’t even mention their names or directly apologise to the other people he yelled slurs at, but I’m supposed to care about him and this sympathy tour?”

Another commented, “Sounds like he said everything but an apology.”

However, some people used the opportunity to call for a better understanding of the situation while condemning ableism.

An X user noted, “What he said was disgusting and is in no way acceptable, but can people also stop using this as an excuse to be blatantly ableist? Two wrongs don’t make a right. You can be upset/offended by his words without also resorting to slurs and ableism.”

The controversy then shifted from the outburst itself to the management of the event, as Lindo slammed BAFTA for failing to address it with him after the event.

The “Da 5 Bloods” star said he and Jordan “did what we had to do” while presenting, but he wished “someone from BAFTA spoke to us afterward.”

Earlier on Monday, BAFTA issued an “unreserved apology” for the “very offensive language that carries incomparable trauma and pain for so many,” before going on to explain that the tics are “in no way a reflection of an individual’s beliefs and are not intentional.”

Adapted from Catherine Ryan Howard‘s novel, the show was developed by Karyn Usher (Prison Break) and Lisa Zwerling (ER) and executive produced by James Wan. It follows an intense story involving a highly charged whirlwind romance and a gruesome murder. But in case that’s not quite what you’re in the mood for right now, there are still a lot of other options to explore on the streaming service. For more recommendations, check out our list of the best shows and movies on Prime Video.

3

‘The IT Crowd’ (2006–2013)

Created, written, and directed by Graham Linehan, The IT Crowd is a British sitcom that revolves around the IT department of a fictional London company. The story kicks off when Jen Barber (Katherine Parkinson) is appointed as the new head of IT, even though she has no experience with the field, and the show largely follows her various attempts to manage her new socially inept subordinates, Maurice Moss (Richard Ayoade) and Roy Trenneman (Chris O’Dowd). Besides the three leads, the series also stars Chris Morris, Matt Berry, Noel Fielding, and more in supporting roles.

Originally broadcast on Channel 4 beginning in 2006, The IT Crowd was a critically acclaimed series in the UK but suffered from poor ratings initially. Viewership picked up by the end of the show, however, and the series is now regarded as a cult classic, with its streaming release bringing it new fans from around the world. A witty workplace sitcom with intelligent humor and delightfully weird characters, The IT Crowd also earned a number of accolades during its original run, including three BAFTAs out of seven nominations and an International Emmy.

2

‘The Capture’ (2019–Present)

Created, written, and directed by Ben Chanan, The Capture is a British mystery thriller show that explores cases involving far-reaching conspiracies and cutting-edge technology. Holliday Grainger stars as Rachel Carey, who starts the show as a newly-appointed Detective Inspector tasked with investigating the case of a British soldier charged with the murder of his lawyer. The show also stars Ginny Holder, Ben Miles, Lia Williams, and Ron Perlman in other main cast roles.

The Capture was quite well-received by critics when it first premiered on BBC One in 2019, earning praise for its thrilling narrative and timely story. With its impeccable performances and tense storytelling, the show is easily one of the best surveillance thrillers on television, and it provides some keen insights into how modern technologies like deepfakes and AI video manipulation can have a disastrous effect on society. A second, even better-reviewed season followed in 2022, and the show is all set to premiere its third season in 2026, making this the perfect time to binge the series so far.

1

‘Outer Range’ (2022–2024)

Created by Brian Watkins, Outer Range is a sci-fi neo-Western series starring Josh Brolin as Royal Abbott, the patriarch of a Wyoming rancher family. The show explores the strange events that ensue when Royal discovers a mysterious void on his land, following the family’s struggles to defend their property from rivals while dealing with the disappearance of their daughter-in-law, the puzzle of the void, and the arrival of an enigmatic stranger. Besides Brolin, the series’ ensemble cast also features Imogen Poots, Lili Taylor, Tom Pelphrey, Tamara Podemski, Lewis Pullman, and more.

Outer Range was widely acclaimed by critics and viewers alike when it first premiered on Prime Video in 2022, and it continued to enjoy great reviews throughout its two-season run. A gripping sci-fi drama that combines a Yellowstone-style Western narrative with a fascinating sci-fi mystery, the series is easily one of the streamer’s best shows in recent years, anchored by the intense performances of its star-studded cast, particularly Brolin, Poots, and Pelphrey. However, Outer Range was prematurely canceled after its second season, cutting the story short on a frustrating cliffhanger, though it’s still an enjoyable show despite its short life.

General Hospital 2-Week Spoilers Feb 23-Mar 6: Alexis Erupts in Fury & Drew Makes Desperate Move

Published

on

General Hospital Spoilers: Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn)- Drew Cain Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison)

General Hospital 2-week spoilers for February 23-March 06, 2026 suggest Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is going to be furious about something and Drew Cain Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) is increasingly desperate.

General Hospital Spoilers: Willow Shocked & Spinelli Terrified

On Monday, February 23rd, we’ve got Wiley Quartermaine Corinthos (Viron Weaver) telling his mom, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), he does not like staying at Drew Cain Quartermaine’s house. Boy, those kids have gotten used to the Quartermaine mansion. And I think they don’t like knowing that catatonic Drew is in the house. Can’t blame them.

Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) tells Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) he is not going to fight Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) to win Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms). Spinelli tells Lulu also that he assumes Maxie is going to pick Nathan over him.

But he cannot in good conscience, you know, put Maxie into this position. So, at the cemetery standing near his grave, Nathan is talking to Maxie about how weird this all is. She is feeling in over her head and overwhelmed. Waking from a coma to an undead husband is quite the shocker.

GH Spoilers: Michael Corinthos Punches Harrison Chase Over Planted Evidence

Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) tells Alexis he’s got news about Drew’s case. I think Ric is going to tell her that Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) planted Drew’s key on Michael Corinthos’ (Rory Gibson) keyring. Alexis is skeptical, and she may not believe Chase would plant evidence—and he didn’t. As we all know, he only called attention to it, but I don’t think the PCPD is going to believe him.

Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) talk about Emma Scorpio-Drake (Brayden Bruner). Of course, Gio is quite afraid that Emma is not going to come back from her San Francisco trip, where she went to tell her parents that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) has gone off the deep end and is stuck in a psychiatric institute in France.

Josslyn tells somebody that she’ll drop it, and it might be in this conversation with Gio or talking with somebody else. Michael is enraged and he punches Chase in the face because Michael is quite certain that Chase planted that key on his ring. Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) makes a promise, maybe to the DA, that if Chase did this, he’ll fire him. We’ll see who he’s promising.

DA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) tells Dante if they mess up with this again, heads are going to roll. Chase may have to go; he may have to be fired. Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Chase have a tense private talk on Monday, likely after the brawl with Michael, and Brook Lynn has had enough of the whole Willow thing.

General Hospital Spoilers: Jason Morgan Faces WSB Grilling and Sonny Corinthos Confides in Ric Lansing

On Tuesday, February 24th, we’ve got Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) grilling Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). The WSB director circles around to “Stone Cold.” I’m betting that Cullum wants to make sure Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) cut Jason out of her life like she said she did.

She and Jason have only been sneaking around on the sly seeing each other. Something has Lulu hesitant, and it might be Nathan. He may still want to date her after this conversation with Maxie. Plus, Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) gets some critical info. This may be about Britt’s medications and where they’re stashed, or more on Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) and Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota).

Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) confides in his brother, Ric, and it might be about the angle he’s working with Sidwell or Justine, or his concern over what’s going on with Michael. Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) issues someone a warning; it could be Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) about something Jenz Sidwell’s doing, or it could be to Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) about Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and the baby.

GH Sweeps Climax: Harrison Chase’s Hard Decision and Emma Drake’s Return

Wednesday, February 25th is the last day of sweeps, by the way. So, look for a hopefully big finish. Dante needs to talk to Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) and he may have questions about Willow since Justine remains certain that she’s guilty. Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) is encouraged by Cody Bell (Josh Kelly), and I think he’s going to tell Molly to go ahead and publish her romance novel. Looks like Cody has read it all and he’s going to be a big fan.

Britt and Jason ponder their options. This may be about getting their hands on her medications to reverse engineer them, which has been tougher now that they’re being doled out one at a time. Chase faces a hard decision. He may quit before the PCPD fire him, or this could be something about Brook Lynn and her being sick and tired of all the Willow nonsense. Gio gets the best news on Wednesday. I bet that it is Emma coming back to Port Charles.

The Race for Congress on General Hospital: Willow Tait Challenges Alexis Davis for Drew’s Seat

Thursday, February 26th, Dr. Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) wants to chat with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali). I’m sure it’s about him dating her mom, Portia. I wonder if Trina will be hostile or if she will be okay. Now, everybody’s tried to make it clear that he wasn’t getting with her mom while she was with her dad, but we’ll see. Trina can be stubborn like that.

Laura holds a press conference, and I believe it’s to endorse Alexis to step in to take Drew’s place for the rest of his term, although it will require a special election. Jason and Sonny debrief each other, and I’m sure it’s about so many things—Sidwell, Jack Brennan, Britt, and Michael—there’s a lot on the list.

Jenz Sidwell gets tough. He’s playing hardball with somebody and it may be Britt or Marco. It could be about Deception because Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) was pushing his buttons on that.

Or his double trouble love life with Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring). Alexis is stunned by something. Willow may also announce to the press she’s running to replace Drew with his blessing. Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) may set up a big media splash because she’s all about getting Willow into Congress on General Hospital.

GH Spoilers: Lucy Coe in Danger and Willow Tait’s Vow of Revenge

Now, Friday, February 27th, Lucy is in trouble. She’s going to have to explain herself, and it may be to Sidwell. She is caught doing something that she shouldn’t be doing. Either sabotaging Ava is likely, or trying to get some dirt on Sidwell because, remember, she was telling Sonny that she wants to dig into everything he’s doing at Deception. Lucy may be poking around at Wyndemere.

Lucas demands answers, and I bet it’s from Marco, maybe on the topic of criminality and his father and Britt. Plus, Willow makes a vow to herself. Maybe it’s about taking Michael down to get Drew’s congressional seat to get all the revenge she wants.

Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) wants Britt to help her by the end of the week. I bet it’s on matchmaking Maxie and Nathan, but I don’t think that Britt is going to play those reindeer games with her mom. Plus, Laura has to find some chill. I think she’s a little annoyed about the way the press conference turns out.

General Hospital March Spoilers: Nathan West’s Seven-Year Mystery and Spoon Island Peril

The week of March 2nd through the 6th, we’ve got Maxie struggling to figure out what is next. Nathan being back is a lot to process. So are Spinelli’s proactively hurt feelings and defeatist attitude, as he thinks it’s already done. I think that’s going to bother Maxie. I think she may yank a knot in him.

Lulu and Nathan can’t shake their feelings for each other. Maxie and Nathan may agree the past is past, but I don’t think it’s going to be that easy for Lulu. Plus, there’s a chance Nathan and Maxie’s feelings may evolve. Nathan still has a twist ahead when we find out more about his missing seven years.

Dark Willow Determined on General Hospital

Willow doubles down on her plan to get everything she wants—a double dose of revenge against her ex-husband, Michael, and her current husband, Drew. Alexis prepares for battle. She wants to beat Willow. She’s furious that that would-be husband killer is trying to take Drew’s seat in Congress, and Michael is desperate to prove his innocence.

The walls are closing in on Chase. Meanwhile, Drew is desperate to communicate and be saved. If somebody could help him, he’d be back on his feet as soon as that medication wore off, probably in a day or two. Portia and Isaiah move forward as do Curtis and Jordan, but Jordan may be anxious that baby bonding could reunite Curtis and Portia. Lucas may find himself in danger and in over his head out at Spoon Island.

Obrecht is determined to get Nathan and Maxie back together. Spinelli braces for the worst despite reassurances. Emma is coming home soon. There is more cousin love and antics from Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) and Danny Morgan (Asher Jared Antonyzyn), and Cody and Molly enjoy their reunion.

Bold and Beautiful 2-Week Spoilers Feb 23-Mar 6: Will Discovers Shocking Truth & Katie Unleashes Her Rage

Published

on

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) - Katie Logan (Heather Tom)

Bold and the Beautiful 2-week spoilers for February 23-March 06, 2026 indicate Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) is going to be horrified and Katie Logan (Heather Tom) is ready to throw down.

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Eric & Ridge Reconcile

Monday, February 23rd, we have Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Eric Forrester (John McCook) continuing their heart-to-heart that was carried over from Friday’s episode. The good thing is Ridge and Eric finally reach an agreement. John McCook confirmed in a recent interview that Eric and Ridge’s feud is over and they now understand each other’s perspective.

Eric is going to go back to Forrester Creations, but it’s going to be on his own terms and his own timeline. We’ll see what he says about Katie and the Logan launch. Will is hit with an ultimatum from Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace). It looks like a repeat of her last ultimatum, but maybe with a demand for an immediate answer or else. We all know how much men like ultimatums—no one likes them, for that matter. It looks like they do break up on Monday.

B&B Spoilers: Katie Logan and Brooke Logan’s Explosive Showdown Over Eric Forrester

There’s also a massive showdown between Katie and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) about Eric. This is a carryover from Friday’s episode. Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) going to join in, and then Ridge is going to join in. Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) is there trying to referee. We’ll see if Eric joins or if he’s taking a rest. There may be no coming back from this fight for Brooke and Katie because they eviscerate each other verbally.

Katie is telling Brooke that she’s being very egotistical about this. Brooke claps back at Katie that basically all she’s done is copy Forrester, steal the Logan name, steal Eric, and use Bill Spencer’s money. She tells her she hasn’t done anything for herself, much less start a legacy. Then Brooke pulls a slow clap on her sister that I know is going to rub her the wrong way.

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Katie Defends Herself

Melissa Dylan (Sydney Bullock) and Will talk after his split from Electra. He goes back to the Malibu house. Dylan comforts Will and hugs him, but you know, that’s all right. Electra’s about to get some comfort from somebody hot as well on Bold and the Beautiful.

Tuesday, February 24th, we’ve got Katie defending herself and the choices she’s made. I think that’s to start Logan and to agree when Eric asked her to hire him. She didn’t go recruit him. Katie is having a throwdown with Ridge this week and says that she and Bill gave Eric purpose and the respect that Ridge wouldn’t give his own dad. Ridge snaps and screams that Katie and Bill gave Eric nothing.

Back over at Forrester Creations, Electra opens up to RJ Forrester (Brayan Nicoletti). I’m sure she’s upset and is going to tell him about Will and Dylan. I’m guessing Electra didn’t get the answer she wanted from Will after that ultimatum.

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Ivy Forrester’s Manipulations and the Younger Generation Love Triangle

Wednesday, February 25th is the last day of sweeps, and it looks like they’re going hard on the younger generation. It is not clear if we’re going to get anything else on Ridge and Eric because the only spoilers for Wednesday are about the kids.

Ivy Forrester (Ashleigh Brewer) is plotting to manipulate Electra and looks like she is trying to get her and RJ together. This comes hot on the heels of Will and Electra splitting. Ivy must really want Will and his inappropriateness gone from Electra’s life.

This week, RJ tells Electra that something is wrong with Will if he’s not willing to do everything he has to do to hold on to her. Then RJ kisses Electra as Ivy lurks and watches. Will is also going to see this kiss, by the way. I would not be surprised if Ivy orchestrated it to make sure that Will sees Electra and RJ talking and kissing.

Thursday, February 26th, Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire) sees something that she should not. This is something Ivy is doing; she’s got either her own purse or Electra’s purse, and she’s shuffling some kind of paper around and acting really guilty. Dylan comes into the design office and Ivy goes off on her, telling her, “Don’t you dare tell anyone about this.”

Ivy is sitting on some kind of huge secret. This week, newlyweds Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Dylan share a warm embrace in the CEO office at Forrester, and we’ll see if she tells him that Ivy was threatening her. RJ gets some big information from Electra, and this may be when she tells him that she and Will split up. RJ is going to be so completely thrilled. Plus, Ivy’s plan is working like a charm.

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: March 2-6: Eric Forrester’s Health and Ivy Forrester’s Exit

Friday, February 27th, Ivy sets more of her plot into motion to keep pushing Electra and RJ closer together. Plus, Dylan gets news that shocks her. Will may come back and tell her that he walked in on RJ and Electra kissing. Li and Will are also going to share a close moment at the beach house, which is going to get messy soon.

The week of March 2nd through the 6th, Dylan and Will continue to get closer, and we may see them sharing a kiss as well. Dylan considers her next move on whether to expose Ivy and her threats. I definitely think Dylan will at least tell Carter, but she may tell Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) as well.

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: RJ and Electra Get Closer

RJ and Electra also get closer, but I wonder if she will tap the brakes with RJ because she’s fresh off of a split. Ivy is out of control with manipulations and she may try and get Will fired. By the way, Ashleigh Brewer should be on maternity leave pretty soon. We will have to see Ivy checking out within the next few weeks.

Katie is reeling from her fight with Brooke, and we may see the Logan sisters tossing each other out of their lives. This could be a dealbreaker that fractures the family. Donna gets extra protective of Eric, though he has no big health crisis going on. John McCook confirmed that his collapsing was just a stress reaction to the design work and the explosive secrets.

Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) hears about the fallout between her mom and Aunt Katie. Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) is going to get a much different update from Bill and Katie on the big fight. We will find out more about what’s next for Eric and if Katie brings in some help so that he is not so stressed out and exhausted.

Pastor Comments on Murder of Woman Allegedly Killed by Ohio Husband

Published

on

UPDATE — 2/23/26, 6:15 p.m. ET: The pastor of the church attended by Caleb C. Flynn and his wife, Ashley Flynn has commented on her death after Caleb was accused of killing her in their Tipp City, Ohio home on February 16.

Jordan Paul Hansen, the pastor of the Christian Life Center, said in a statement shared to Facebook on Friday, February 20, that Ashley “was a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished” church member.

“As the events surrounding this tragedy continue to unfold, we join you in the shock, sadness, and unanswered questions many are experiencing,” the statement read, in part.

Hansen said that Ashley had two daughters.

“Two young daughters have lost their mother, and a family continues to walk through profound grief,” Hansen wrote. “Please continue lifting them in prayer.”

Original story below:

The husband of an Ohio woman who was found shot dead inside her home following a reported burglary has been charged with murder in her death, authorities said.

Caleb C. Flynn, 39, was arrested the evening of Thursday, February 19, in connection with the killing of Ashley Flynn, 37, which occurred the morning of Monday, February 16, at their Tipp City home, according to a news release shared by the Tipp City Police Department.

Caleb appeared on the reality show American Idol in 2013.

Caleb is charged with one count of murder, two counts of felonious assault with a deadly weapon, and two counts of tampering with evidence, court records viewed by Us Weekly show.

Caleb pleaded not guilty to the charges at an arraignment the morning of Friday, February 20, court records show.

His defense attorney, Patrick L. Mulligan, said in an emailed statement to Us on February 20 that Caleb “looks forward to defending this case.”

“We are both disappointed and concerned about the short timeline and seeming rush to judgment in this case,” Mulligan said. “When the government runs out of leads or can’t develop leads and looks at a surviving spouse in cases such as these, the chance of a wrongful conviction increases.”

Caleb and Ashley, who was substitute teacher and school volleyball coach, were church members of the Christian Life Center in Butler Township, where Caleb previously worked as a music pastor, the Dayton Daily News reported.

Authorities are investigating the killing of an Ohio woman who was found dead inside her home following a reported burglary, police said. While working for his church’s music ministry, Caleb appeared on American Idol during the show’s 12th season, according to the newspaper.

In an interview on the show, the newspaper reported that he expressed his love for Ashley, saying: “I love my wife more than anything. She is very, very pretty. I love her.”

On February 16, Tipp City police said in an initial news release that offices arrived at the Flynns’ home around 2:31 a.m. that morning after “a reported burglary with a resident inside the home who had been shot.”

They found Caleb, Caleb and Ashley’s two children, and Ashley, who was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police, Us previously reported.

Tipp City police noted that officers did not locate any potential suspects after securing the crime scene.

In an update issued later that day, the police department said the circumstances surrounding the investigation were a “complex situation.”

According to Caleb’s criminal complaint, he is accused of staging the crime scene on February 16.

The complaint states that he “murdered his wife” that morning and “officers were [led] astray by the staging of the crime scene.”

In a statement shared by Tipp City Schools on February 16, Ashley was remembered for “her beautiful smile, warmth, kindness, and the positive impact she had on so many.”

Months after he told police that his wife died after taking a fatal fall, cops in Columbus, Ohio, have arrested her 39-year-old husband, charging him just this week with her murder. Austen Medek has now been formally accused by investigators of killing his wife and the mother of his three children, 41-year-old Michaela Medek, who […]

She previously taught for the school district before starting work as a substitute teacher, according to the district. She also coached Tippecanoe Middle School volleyball.

On February 19, the police department said, “As previously stated, the family and community deserve a thorough, professional, and compassionate investigation into this very sensitive matter.”

“As a result of the investigation, probable cause existed to charge Caleb Flynn with the murder of his wife,” the department added. “Due to the ongoing nature of this case, specific investigative details will not be released at this time.”

Caleb’s bond has been set at $2 million, court records show.

If he posts bond, he will be put on house arrest and electronic monitoring, and will not be allowed to see his children, according to court records.

Audrey Hepburn fans have mixed reactions to Lily Collins being cast as the iconic actress in an upcoming movie about the making of Breakfast at Tiffany’s.

“It’s with almost 10 years of development and a lifetime of admiration and adoration for Audrey that I’m finally able share this,” Collins, 36, wrote via Instagram on Monday, February 23, alongside a Deadline article about her casting. “Honored and ecstatic don’t begin to express how I feel.”

Friends of Collins celebrated the news in the comments section, with many noting that Collins is a perfect fit for the role due to her resemblance to Hepburn, who died in 1993 at age 63.

“I SWEAR TO GOD. I’VE BEEN SAYING THIS SINCE THE MOMENT WE MET!!! YESSSS!!!!!!🙌🙌🙌,” Modern Family actress Sarah Hyland commented.

Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale added, “Absolutely born for this 👏 so happy for you.”

Collins’ Emily in Paris costar Ashley Park wrote, “ESSSSSSS OFFICIALLLL BABYYYYY😍.”

On X, many fans of Hepburn debated whether or not Collins is the right fit for the role.

“Can Lily Collins really match the timeless elegance of Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s? 👀,” one person wrote.

Another user added, “Lily Collins is genuinely one of the few people who could pull this off without it feeling like cosplay. she has that same effortless elegance that made Hepburn iconic in the first place. the resemblance is almost unsettling.”

A third fan argued, “Seriously? They couldn’t find someone more fitting than her? This feels off.”

Many critics of the casting had hoped that Ariana Grande would portray Hepburn. (Grande, 32, has cited Hepburn as one of her fashion influences.)

In January 2025, the Wicked actress addressed rumors that she was set to play Hepburn in an upcoming biopic.

“Oh my goodness, why is everyone asking me this? You’re insane!” Grande told Access Hollywood at the time.

In a separate interview with Entertainment Tonight, Grande added of potentially playing Hepburn, “That would have to be done so well and so perfectly … I don’t know.”

Back in 2024, Collins’ father-in-law, Malcolm McDowell, compared the Emily in Paris star to Hepburn.

Could Wicked star Ariana Grande take on the role of Audrey Hepburn in an upcoming biopic? If you ask the actress herself, the answer is probably not.  Grande was asked the question while speaking to Access Hollywood at the National Board of Review’s annual gala Tuesday, January 7. “Oh my goodness, why is everyone asking […]

“Lily is absolutely a star,” he told People at the time. “I’m in awe of her work. I think she’s one of the best young actresses around. I love watching her — she’s got that Audrey Hepburn kind of thing going, which is indefinable in a way, but it’s there.”

Hepburn rose to fame in the 1953 romantic comedy Roman Holiday. She went on to star in several famous films, including Sabrina (1954), Funny Face (1957) The Nun’s Story (1959), Charade (1963) and My Fair Lady (1964).

In 1961, Hepburn starred in the romantic comedy Breakfast at Tiffany’s, which follows socialite Holly Golightly as she meets a struggling writer who moves into her apartment building. Hepburn was nominated for Best Actress at that year’s Academy Awards for her role in the film.

Today, Hepburn is known as both a film and fashion icon.
