Inter meet entourage of A. Villa keeper Martinez, set maximum salary offer
Sky Sport Italia reports that Inter met the agent and the brother of Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez on Tuesday, but clarified they won’t offer more than €4m plus add-ons for next season.
Aston Villa goalkeeper Dibu Martinez has emerged as one of Inter’s targets to replace Yann Sommer next season.
Inter in talks with Dibu Martinez
Sky Sport already reported earlier this week that Inter had established contact with the player’s camp, and transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio now adds that the Nerazzurri met with Martinez’s agent and his brother on Tuesday.
Dibu Martinez, 33, still has a long-term contract at Aston Villa, expiring in June 2029, but several sources refuse to rule out his exit over the summer.

Martinez has also been linked with a summer move to Tottenham if Inter sign Guglielmo Vicario.
According to Di Marzio, Inter confirmed their interest in Martinez in the meeting with the goalkeeper’s entourage, but also said they’d offer a maximum of €4m per season plus add-ons.
