Chelten House Products updates leadership structure
SWEDESBORO, NJ. — Chelten House Products, a manufacturer and developer of private label and co-manufactured premium, organic sauces, dressings, marinades and other culinary products for retailers and restaurant chains, has announced several changes within its leadership team.
The changes include the promotions of Jason Dabrow from president and chief operating officer to chief executive officer, and Chris Sorensen from vice president of quality, food safety and warehouse to the newly created role of chief operations officer.
Dabrow succeeds his father Steve Dabrow, who is transitioning to chairman. Dabrow has been president and COO since 2020.
Dabrow has held numerous positions at the company ranging from manufacturing, supply chain, quality, sales and people operations.
In the newly created role of chief operations officer, Sorensen, who has been in senior operations leadership positions for the company the past decade, will focus solely on the company’s operations where he will oversee manufacturing, quality and warehouse functions.
“Chelten House has always been built for the long term, and this transition reflects that same thoughtful approach,” Steve Dabrow said. “Jason has spent his career learning every dimension of the business, earning the trust of our employees and customers and helping lead the company through a period of remarkable growth. He understands the values that have sustained Chelten House across four generations, and he has the vision and discipline to guide its next chapter.”
Chelten House Products was founded by Martin Dabrow in the 1940s and later was led by Alan and Steve Dabrow.
The company began as a food distributor and later became a manufacturer before entering organic foods in the 1980s, the company said.
