SpaceX’s Starlink satellites have been making inroads into Africa, attempting to take advantage of a continent much in need of better connectivity. While their entrance has been met with resistance in some markets, others seem more willing to work with the company. South Africa’s MTN is one of them. CEO Ralph Mupita discusses the role of Low Earth Orbit satellites amid SpaceX CEO Elon Musk’s claim that his company is being prevented from operating in South Africa.
