10 Horror Movies That Are Perfect From Beginning to End
Horror is a gem that just keeps shining brightly. It is an art form that’s truly gotten better throughout cinematic history and is today at the forefront of entertainment, giving us endless influence and timeless scares. What would we be without it, and would pop culture even be the same? Horror can tell complex, incredible stories that never leave our minds and continue to be watched and influenced for generations. In short, this genre is full of perfection.
There are entire lists dedicated to the best of the best when it comes to horror. There’s absolutely no shortage of masterpieces in this genre, and we keep discussing which ones are our favorites and which ones will continue to live on as time passes. Let’s talk about ten that continue to be brought up as the best, as well as some others that were often undiscussed and even an exciting new entry to enter the debate. Here are ten horror movies that are undoubtedly perfect from beginning to end.
10
‘The Shining’ (1980)
Starting off with a no-brainer, of course, we can’t talk about compelling horror movies without discussing arguably the most beloved horror masterpiece, Stanley Kubrick‘s 1980 classic The Shining. Author Stephen King‘s riveting supernatural nightmare tale was brought gloriously to the big screen with this timeless chiller about a struggling writer who drags his family along with him to become caretakers of an ominous, isolated mountain hotel, only to be influenced by its sinister ghostly inhabitants and go on a murder spree.
It’s highly regarded as a template for how to build mounting dread and create an effective suspense horror. From start to end, it creates a lingering sense of doom, and we worry that anything shocking might be waiting in the very next scene. The Shining slowly creeps under your skin and delivers a most horrifying punch that you’ll never ever forget. Thanks to Kubrick’s masterful direction and King’s creative writing, they’ve created one of the most fascinating, talked-about, and most mind-boggling horror movies that we’ve ever seen.
9
‘Let The Right One In’ (2008)
Showing that international horror is truly one of the best kinds of horror, next is Let the Right One In, the Swedish coming-of-age vampire drama from director Tomas Alfredson. Dark, tragic, and oddly touching at times, this powerful blend of bloody horror and character drama delivers a gripping tale of companionship and youthful angst, following a bullied young Stockholm boy as he forms a tender bond with a centuries-old vampire stuck in the body of a twelve-year-old girl.
It’s emotionally charged, perfectly directed, and flawlessly performed. Let The Right One In tells a remarkable story that truly is more than just a straightforward vampire story; in many ways it’s about love, growing up, and overcoming personal trauma. The writing is top-notch, able to completely suck you into the story and never let go until the end credits. It’s a horror must-watch that, despite its young age, is already considered a timeless classic.
8
‘Jaws’ (1975)
Set sail for the ultimate high-sea horror adventure. Steven Spielberg‘s exciting 1975 monster hit Jaws completely terrified audiences out of their minds, instilling within so many of us an extensive fear of swimming in the open ocean. If it’s nonstop thrills, then this is right for you, as it follows a rag-tag trio of men as they set out to slay a monstrous rogue great white shark that’s been on a killing spree off the beaches of a summer community.
Not a single moment of this film is wasted on dull drama or weak storytelling. It’s a roller-coaster, a blast of fun that is endlessly thrilling and truly unforgettable. The cast is amazing, Spielberg’s direction made him a superstar overnight, and John Williams’ epic score has echoed in the minds of audiences since 1975. Overall, everything in Jaws comes together to create arguably the most entertaining experience when watching a horror movie.
7
‘The Bride of Frankenstein’ (1935)
Universal’s Classic Monsters Age ushered in the first era of horror lovers. From the early 1930s to the late 1950s, it brought us some of the most legendary characters in pop culture, from the Wolf Man (Lon Chaney Jr.) to Count Dracula (Bela Lugosi). Despite all the best this era had to show, it’s argued that James Whale‘s iconic sequel to his 1931 classic Frankenstein, 1935’s The Bride of Frankenstein, is not only the best of this series, but just one of the most perfect horror movies ever made.
Boris Karloff and Colin Clive return in this gripping and emotional sequel, which follows the creature as he and a sinister scientist force the ambitious Dr. Henry Frankenstein to create him a new bride (Elsa Lancaster). The Bride of Frankenstein defined the horror genre for many years, creating so many iconic moments, like the titular Bride’s memorable appearance or the creature becoming seen more as a misunderstood being who only wanted companionship. The acting is stellar and will have you teary-eyed at points, and the story just overall excelled in giving you a powerful tale. Truly, everyone needs to see this masterpiece.
6
‘Obsession’ (2026)
Scaring its way into horror royalty in the 2020s, 2026’s smash hit Obsession has already secured its place as one of the greatest horror films in recent memory. Directed by 26-year-old YouTuber Curry Barker, this earned its reputation for its incredible story, pulse-pounding terror, and award-worthy performances. Newcomers Michael Jonston and Inde Navarrette star in this twisted romance about a frustrated young man who uses an actually magical wish toy to make his crush love him more than anyone else. But he soon begins to regret this when the wish transforms his crush into an obsessive monster.
It has this almost supernatural ability to hook us in right from the very beginning. Obsession can leave a profound effect on anyone who sees it, whether extreme fear, sadness, or shock. You’ll never forget a single line or moment, especially during the moments when the magically possessed Nikki terrifies the screen with her presence. On that subject, rising star Inde Navarrette’s captivating performance is the anchor that catapults the story to an all-new level of horror. You can’t look away from her at any point. Overall, Obsession is a modern classic that is currently shaping the horror genre.
5
‘The Silence of the Lambs’ (1991)
Honored today for currently being the only horror film to win the coveted Best Picture, the late Jonathan Demme‘s 1991 chilling crime thriller The Silence of the Lambs is undoubtedly a perfect masterpiece, one that’s unquestionably scary and iconic. It’s a marvelous tale of suspense and mystery, following Jodie Foster‘s FBI trainee Clarice Starling as she goes toe-to-toe in a mental battle of chess against Sir Anthony Hopkins‘ dangerously intelligent convicted murderer, Dr. Hannibal Lecter, in order to get his help in her pursuit of the infamous Buffalo Bill serial killer (Ted Levine).
The suspense glues viewers to the screen. It’s perfectly set up and well-paced from start to end, and it builds things up to an excitingly eerie conclusion. The writing and direction earned Academy Awards, and Hopkins and Foster both secured best actor Oscars as well. It’s a well-made, nearly flawless horror masterpiece that became highly acclaimed, very rewatchable, and simply a recognizable icon of the genre. The Silence of the Lambs is not just a brilliant horror film; it’s often considered one of the greatest pieces of cinema history.
4
‘Alien’ (1979)
Outer space never seemed so terrifying until Ridley Scott‘s 1979 masterpiece Alien came out. One of the most nightmarish monster movies of all time, this legendary thriller ushered in a new era of cinematic beasts, bringing with it a timeless story and a menacing creature design. Sigourney Weaver, in her career-defining performance as Lt. Ellen Ripley, leads a band of astronauts who encounter a deadly extraterrestrial that has stowed away aboard their ship after answering a distress call.
Alien is the ultimate in atmospheric and claustrophobic terror. Its cramped, dark interior ship setting perfectly encapsulates the inescapable feeling of doom the characters are experiencing. It also helps set up the suspense, as this ship helps the creature hide in any corner, and it can strike at any time. The suspense and dread just build every second, and you’ll be holding your breath until the end credits. The alien design, created by Oscar-winning artist H. R. Giger, is truly influential and agelessly terrifying. The visuals are also powerful and keep this film feeling fresh and captivating. Honestly, there’s so much that makes Alien utterly flawless.
3
‘Dawn of the Dead’ (1978)
Horror is just not the same without zombie movies. Though they’ve been around since early cinema, their popularity really took off thanks to independent filmmaker George A. Romero‘s iconic Dead trilogy, which birthed the modern zombie craze. Of this near-perfect trilogy, the best was 1978’s Dawn of the Dead, Romero’s most compelling and thought-provoking masterpiece of his career. The story follows two SWAT police officers, a traffic reporter, and a pregnant TV producer as they work to turn an abandoned shopping center into their shelter as a zombie apocalypse ravages the nation.
While its predecessor, Night of the Living Dead, is considered the grandfather of the zombie subgenre, Dawn of the Dead launched its popularity straight into history, becoming the subgenre’s greatest influence and a benchmark for others to reach. The writing is marvelous, the mall setting is iconic, the themes and messages are timelessly thought-provoking, and the performances are top-notch considering its lack of star power. Dawn of the Dead is a masterpiece through and through that represents the peak of zombie horror.
2
‘Psycho’ (1960)
Hailed for its timeless quality and for kickstarting the wildly popular slasher subgenre, the great Sir Alfred Hitchcock‘s legendary classic Psycho is seriously one of the most important horror movies ever created. A perfect piece of cinema that laid the groundwork for so many other horror movies, this epic tale shocked the movie-going world with its story about a woman who steals from her boss and runs off into the desert, only to encounter a seemingly friendly motel owner with a disturbing secret.
Psycho is the trailblazer that nearly every horror movie these days owes a great deal of gratitude to. It pushed boundaries, dared to be bold and risqué, and introduced audiences to a new, darker age of horror and violence. The acting is remarkable, with lead star Anthony Perkins creating one of the most timelessly horrifying performances of all time as the mysterious Norman Bates. Hitchcock’s suspenseful talents are on full display here as well, and this all just shows why this movie is so essential to the history of the genre.
1
‘The Thing’ (1982)
Coming in to give one last big scare is The Thing, horror legend John Carpenter‘s 1982 magnum opus. It’s not only the most perfect horror movie from beginning to end, but it’s one of the most incredible movies in cinema history. A remarkable chiller with some of the scariest suspense and nailbiting tension ever brought to celluloid, it follows Kurt Russell as an American pilot in the Antarctic as he fights for survival and to stop a shapeshifting alien entity that’s infiltrated a research base.
From the remarkable cast who all flesh out and play their characters flawlessly and the eerie and bleak Arctic setting to the endless suspense and constant feeling of impending doom, The Thing truly is a film every horror lover needs to see. You’ll never forget it the first time, and there’s always something more to appreciate after more rewatches. The horror genre truly wouldn’t be as beloved today without this bona fide masterpiece, and it takes the final spot here.

Olivia Rodrigo Goes Public With New Romance After Split
Olivia Rodrigo appears to have firmly moved on from Louis Partridge after sharing her most affectionate public outing yet with reported new boyfriend Julian Croonenberghs.
The 23-year-old singer was photographed cuddling the private-equity professional during a relaxed park date in New York City, weeks after repeated sightings first sparked speculation that she had found love outside the entertainment industry.
The latest photographs reportedly show Rodrigo and Croonenberghs enjoying a laid-back date in a Brooklyn park on Sunday, July 26.
The “Drivers License” singer rested in his arms, smiled as they spoke and kissed his hand during the outing. Croonenberghs was also seen kissing her hand before pulling her close.
According to E! News, Rodrigo kept a relatively low profile in sunglasses and a baseball cap, pairing a cropped vest with denim shorts.
Although the outfit and setting were understated, the couple’s affectionate behaviour made their relationship considerably more difficult to dismiss as a friendship.
The date represents the clearest public display between them since reports of the romance emerged earlier in July.
Neither Rodrigo nor Croonenberghs has personally announced that they are together, and her representatives have not publicly commented on the photographs. The PDA nevertheless appears to confirm weeks of speculation surrounding the pair.
Olivia Rodrigo’s Reported Romance Had Been Building Quietly
Rodrigo and Croonenberghs did not emerge as a reported couple overnight. They were first linked in June after being spotted together at a wine bar in Brooklyn.
Further sightings followed around the borough, allowing fans to identify Rodrigo’s previously unnamed companion as Croonenberghs. Their relationship appeared to be more established when they were subsequently photographed at an airport after reportedly travelling from Iceland to New York.
The overseas sighting gave the speculation more weight, but the pair remained physically reserved in the available photographs. Their latest park date therefore marks a visible change, offering the first widely published images of them openly cuddling and exchanging affectionate gestures.
The emerging timeline suggests that the two had been spending time together privately for several weeks before their romance became a public talking point.
However, while Rodrigo is one of the world’s most recognisable young singers, the man attracting her attention has built his career far away from Hollywood.
Who Is Olivia Rodrigo’s New Man?
Croonenberghs works in private equity as a member of Hg’s Mercury team in New York. According to his official company biography, he joined the investment firm in 2024 after working in Goldman Sachs’ Financial Institutions Investment Banking division.
He graduated from Brown University with a Bachelor of Science degree in applied mathematics and computer science. His professional background makes him a departure from the actors, producers, musicians and entertainment executives previously linked to Rodrigo.
Croonenberghs also has a notable sporting history. Published reports identify him as a former member of the United States men’s national field hockey team, representing the country between 2018 and 2020. He also played the sport during his time at Brown.
Although some reports have referred to him broadly as a banker or Wall Street figure, “private-equity professional” is the most accurate description of his current occupation. Unlike Rodrigo, he has no established career in entertainment and maintained a low public profile before their reported relationship became news.
The Singer Recently Revealed Her New Outlook On Love

Rodrigo’s apparent new relationship comes months after she discussed how her approach to romance had changed following earlier heartbreak.
During an April interview with Cosmopolitan, conducted by her longtime friend and former “Bizaardvark” co-star Madison Hu, Rodrigo said patience was one of the most important lessons she had learned about love.
“Things happen the way that they’re supposed to happen,” she said, adding that romance should not feel “white-knuckle.”
The Grammy winner also suggested that dating no longer occupied the centre of her emotional life. She described romantic love as a “cherry on top” while emphasising the importance of friendships and the community she had built around herself.
Her comments were made before Croonenberghs was publicly identified as her reported partner, but they now offer relevant context for a romance that appears to have developed without a formal announcement or highly choreographed debut.
Rodrigo’s New Chapter Follows Louis Partridge Split

Olivia Rodrigo’s romance with Croonenberghs is her first widely reported relationship since her split from English actor Louis Partridge.
The former couple began dating in late 2023 and were seen together repeatedly during their nearly two-year romance. They made a prominent public appearance at the 2024 Venice Film Festival before reportedly ending their relationship in December 2025.
Their breakup became closely linked to Rodrigo’s third album, “You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love,” released in June 2026. The project has widely been interpreted as tracing the arc of their relationship, from early infatuation and plans for a future together to disappointment and acceptance after the split.
Reports indicate that Rodrigo initially conceived portions of the project while she was still with Partridge before revising its emotional direction following their breakup. However, she has not confirmed that every lyric or song concerns him.
Croonenberghs’ arrival therefore coincides with a significant transition in both Rodrigo’s personal life and her music.

Justin Baldoni to Pay More Than $170K to New York Times
Justin Baldoni’s Wayfarer Studios has been ordered to pay The New York Times’ legal fees after its lawsuit against the publication was dismissed.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Wayfarer Studios LLC has been ordered to pay $171,616 to the news outlet.
Us has reached out to Baldoni’s team for comment.
In December 2024, The New York Times initially reported on Blake Lively’s complaint against Baldoni, her It Ends With Us costar and director.
Lively, 38, accused Baldoni of sexual harassment, creating a hostile work environment and orchestrating an alleged smear campaign against her.
Baldoni, 42, denied all allegations and subsequently filed a $400 million lawsuit against Lively and a $250 million lawsuit against The New York Times.
Baldoni and his associates alleged that The New York Times “cherry-picked” information to mislead readers about his dispute with Lively in its December 2024 article titled “We Can Bury Anyone: Inside a Hollywood Smear Machine.”
In June 2025, however, Judge Lewis J. Liman dismissed Baldoni’s lawsuit against The New York Times and Lively.

“We are grateful to the court for seeing the lawsuit for what it was: a meritless attempt to stifle honest reporting,” a spokesperson for The New York Times said in a statement to Us at the time. “Our journalists went out and covered carefully and fairly a story of public importance, and the court recognized that the law is designed to protect just that sort of journalism.”
The statement continued: “We will continue to stand up in court for our journalism and for our journalists when their work comes under attack.”
In May, Baldoni and Lively reached a settlement in their own It Ends With Us legal battle, just weeks before they were set to go to trial. A source told Us at the time that money was not exchanged between Lively and Baldoni.
“The end product — the movie It Ends With Us — is a source of pride to all of us who worked to bring it to life. Raising awareness, and making a meaningful impact in the lives of domestic violence survivors — and all survivors — is a goal that we stand behind,” Lively and Baldoni said in a statement to Us via their attorneys on May 4. “We acknowledge the process presented challenges and recognize concerns raised by Ms. Lively deserved to be heard.”
The statement continued, “We remain firmly committed to workplaces free of improprieties and unproductive environments. It is our sincere hope that this brings closure and allows all involved to move forward constructively and in peace, including a respectful environment online.”
Settlement aside, the It Ends With Us drama doesn’t appear to be officially over. In June, Lively requested that Baldoni pay approximately $8 million in legal fees.
Baldoni’s lawyers, however, slammed the request, claiming via court documents, “Lively fails to meet her burden to present credible evidence showing that the fees and costs she seeks to recover are reasonable and, accordingly, her fee motion should be denied in its entirety.”

Blake Garrett Death Scene Reveals New Details on Final Hours
New details have been released about former child star Blake Garrett’s death.
Garrett, 33, was found unresponsive next to his bed in a sober living house on February 8 and pronounced dead at the scene, according to documents from the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Tulsa, Oklahoma, obtained by Us on Monday, July 27.
Drug paraphernalia, including rolled dollar bills, a lighter and foil with burnt residue, were present at the scene, per the docs, which noted that his body was received on February 9 for an autopsy examination. Identifying marks included a “1992” tattoo on his neck and a tattoo honoring his mom on his foot.
Autopsy findings showed his alcohol testing came back negative. Us previously exclusively reported Garrett’s cause of death as acute fentanyl toxicity. His death was ruled an accident.
Garrett’s mother, Carol, confirmed the actor’s death to TMZ in February. She told the outlet that her son visited an emergency room in Tulsa one week before his death due to “intense pain.” He was later diagnosed with shingles, the outlet reported.
Carol also noted that Garrett moved to Tulsa three years before his death to focus on his sobriety, adding that she believed he had “truly turned things around.”

Garrett began his acting career as a child in local productions, including Aladdin and His Magical Lamp and Peanuts: A Charlie Brown Tribute. He began touring at age 10 for the arena show Barney’s Colorful World International Tour.
Garrett made his video debut at age 11 in 2004’s Barney’s Colorful World, Live! He later starred in his first and only feature film, How to Eat Fried Worms, playing Plug, a friend of classroom bully Joe (Adam Hicks), in 2006.
“I play the bully’s henchman,” Garrett, who was 13 years old at the time, told The Oklahoman. “But everybody got along on the set.”
Garrett also recalled getting the “first pick” out of a row of bicycles on set.
“There was one scene where we were riding on a gravel road and got to slide to a stop. The guys who could ride worked on that scene. They had a camera on the ground, and in one scene I slid and gravel hit the camera,” he told the outlet. “They really liked that shot, and that’s the one they used in the movie.”
Garrett’s role in How to Eat Fried Worms earned him a 2007 Young Artist Award. He and the rest of his cast won Best Young Ensemble in a Feature Film that year.
After the movie’s success, Garrett went home to Edmond, Oklahoma, where he finished his time at Summit Middle School. He lived the rest of his life out of the spotlight.

Jon Bon Jovi Keeps Promise To Fans After Health Scare
Jon Bon Jovi is a man who keeps his word!
The founder and frontman of the rock band Bon Jovi returned to the stage at Madison Square Garden as part of his “Forever Tour” on Sunday, July 26.
The concert came days after Jon Bon Jovi was forced to cut a show short due to health issues. He is no stranger to canceling shows because of his well-being, with similar incidents occurring in 2017 and 2018.
Days after the renowned singer cut a performance at Madison Square Garden short due to illness, he made a splashy comeback on the same stage on Sunday night. Bon Jovi went all out for his return, surprising concertgoers with a duet with Bruce Springsteen.
Bon Jovi introduced his longtime pal as “the king of the great state of New Jersey,” their hometown. Then the duo performed a duet to “Who Says You Can’t Go Home” and Springsteen’s 1978 “The Promised Land,” wrapping up the “Forever Tour’s” stop at MSG.
According to Page Six, Sunday’s show was the tour’s ninth and final at MSG before Bon Jovi moves on to Edinburgh for an August 28 show. The singer originally planned a four-show stint at the venue before increasing the performances to a nine-night residency because of high ticket demand.
The Singer Cut His Original MSG Show Short Due To A Sinus Infection
As stated, Bon Jovi’s final performance at MSG came days after he sparked concern for cutting his eighth show at MSG short. The Blast covered the story, reporting that the entertainer had performed for roughly 90 minutes before stopping.
He explained that the show could no longer continue, imploring fans for their understanding while promising to make it up to them. The singer’s representative shed more light on what happened after the concert, revealing he had performed under the weather.
“Jon Bon Jovi spoke from stage and told fans he has been battling a sinus infection which led to the show’s early ending,” the representative said. They added that he was equally disappointed by the situation, noting his joy at being able to return to live performances after a vocal cord surgery.
Jon Bon Jovi Spent Years In Recovery After A Vocal Cord Surgery
Bon Jovi’s “Forever Tour,” which began on July 7, marked his return to live performances after a vocal cord surgery in 2022. Before kicking off the tour, The Blast shared that he reflected on his lengthy recovery journey, noting he was left uncertain about making a comeback.
It took four years for the “Runaway” hitmaker to bounce back, but he “never lost faith” during his recovery period. Bon Jovi also thanked his bandmates for sticking by his side throughout his rehabilitation, noting they “never doubted” he could return to the stage.
“I think that this is a rebirth. It is simply about the joy,” the TV personality said about his tour. Bon Jovi underwent vocal cord surgery in 2022 after doctors discovered one of his vocal cords had begun to atrophy, which made it difficult for him to sing.
The Songwriters Hall Of Fame Honoree Learned To Live In The Moment
The four years Bon Jovi spent away from music became a blessing in disguise as it taught him the importance of slowing down and enjoying the moment. He explained that he used to live for the future and was always focused on tomorrow rather than the present.
The singer’s perspective on life changed during his recovery period, and he began finding joy in the small things like sunshine, spending more time with his family, playing tennis with strangers, and more.
Although he learned to find happiness in the present, there were times when his recovery journey was plagued with negative thoughts. Bon Jovi had moments where he feared his vocal cords might never be the same after surgery and he could never return to music.
Before cutting his July 23 MSG performance short due to a sinus infection, Bon Jovi had made waves in the past for similar health-related concert interruptions. In 2017, two shows scheduled for April 7 and April 8 in MSG were postponed on doctor’s orders.
APP reported that the singer was forced to reschedule the shows due to a battle with bronchitis. A spokesperson for the band confirmed the news in a statement, noting “the decision was difficult to make,” but necessary for fans to enjoy “the full, powerhouse performance for which Bon Jovi is known.”
Because the MSG performances were rescheduled to April 13 and 17, the singer’s April 14 performance in Denver was canceled. In 2018, Bon Jovi’s April 4 and 5 performances at the Bell Center in Montreal were rescheduled for May 17th and 18th because the band was affected by the flu epidemic, per a Facebook post from Evenko.
Welcome back, Jon Bon Jovi!

Cristiano Ronaldo Reportedly Prepares For TV Career
Cristiano Ronaldo appears to be laying the foundation for life beyond football with a major move into scripted entertainment. The soccer icon is reportedly backing a star-studded drama through the production company he launched with filmmaker Matthew Vaughn.
The series is also expected to feature Vaughn, fellow footballing legend Thierry Henry, rapper Dave, and several other high-profile guest stars.

Cristiano Ronaldo is preparing to make his first foray into scripted television with “Day 1s,” a drama that would also become the first TV series produced by his joint venture with “Kingsman” filmmaker Matthew Vaughn. The series reportedly follows fictional football agent Stanley Dalton, played by “Billions” star Damian Lewis, as he navigates the high-stakes world of professional soccer transfers and negotiations.
Ronaldo is said to be attached as both an executive producer and cast member, while Vaughn is reportedly directing the project. The show is also expected to feature guest appearances from several well-known figures, including Arsenal legend Thierry Henry and British rapper Dave.
If the reported project comes to fruition, it would mark another milestone in Ronaldo’s growing entertainment portfolio through UR•Marv Studios, the production company he launched with Vaughn last year after announcing they had already completed two action films together.
How Agents Shape Soccer Careers
“Day 1s” is the brainchild of Darren Dein, the real-life football agent who represents Henry, with both also serving as executive producers.
Rather than following players on the pitch, the show shines a light on the powerful figures working behind the scenes. In European soccer, agents negotiate player transfers, contract extensions, endorsement deals, and image-rights agreements while helping shape their clients’ careers. Top agents often work across multiple countries and can have a major influence over where some of the game’s biggest stars end up.
That makes the profession a natural backdrop for a drama, with the sport’s biggest transfer sagas often unfolding in boardrooms and private meetings long before a player ever pulls on a new jersey. The series is expected to blend fictional storylines with authentic industry experiences, with cameos from Ronaldo and Henry adding another layer of realism.
Inside Ronaldo’s Growing Business Portfolio

Ronaldo’s reported television venture is just the latest addition to a business portfolio that has steadily expanded beyond football. According to The Guardian, the Portugal captain earlier this year purchased a 25% stake in Spanish club UD Almería through CR7 Sports Investments, giving him his first ownership position in professional football.
He has also branched further into health and technology, with Herbalife announcing that Ronaldo invested $7.5 million for a 10% stake in its Pro2col wellness platform.
Those additions join a business network that already includes the Pestana CR7 hotel chain, CR7 Fitness by Crunch gyms, CR7 fashion, fragrances, and footwear, as well as multiple real estate holdings.
Streaming Embraces Soccer Stories

Football stories are increasingly becoming a staple on streaming. For instance, Apple TV+’s Emmy-winning “Ted Lasso” helped introduce millions of viewers to soccer through comedy.
At the same time, “Welcome to Wrexham” turned Welsh club Wrexham AFC into a global phenomenon after chronicling Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney’s ownership journey. According to the BBC, the documentary has grown into FX’s most-watched docuseries and played a major role in expanding the club’s worldwide profile.
Meanwhile, Netflix’s “Sunderland ‘Til I Die” earned praise for its raw look at the emotional toll of relegation, while Amazon’s “All or Nothing” franchise gives fans unprecedented access inside elite clubs like Arsenal, Juventus, and the Manchester giants.
Together, these shows have demonstrated that compelling soccer television is being increasingly driven by communities and behind-the-scenes drama as much as what happens during the 90 minutes of a match.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s International Future Remains Uncertain

While Ronaldo is clearly laying the groundwork for life after his playing career, the 41-year-old has shown no signs of walking away from football just yet.
The decorated icon signed a two-year contract extension with Al-Nassr in June that will keep him with the Saudi Pro League side until 2027.
His Portugal career, however, appears less certain. During the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Ronaldo said he would wait until the tournament concluded before deciding whether to continue representing his country, insisting he would not make a rushed decision.
Since Portugal’s exit, several British outlets have reported that the veteran forward is expected to retire from international football following Portugal’s September UEFA Nations League fixture against Wales. Neither Ronaldo nor the Portuguese Football Federation has confirmed those reports, leaving his plans with the national team unresolved for now.

Robert Downey Jr.’s Secret Doctor Doom Jacket Message Has Finally Been Decoded : Coastal House Media
Marvel Studios has managed to pull off something that feels almost impossible in today’s internet age: keeping one of the biggest casting secrets completely under wraps.
As Spider-Man: Brand New Day swings into theaters this week, fans are still asking the same question they’ve been debating for more than a year:
Who is Sadie Sink actually playing?
The speculation reached another level after Sony released a new promotional clip featuring Sink, where her answer about her character is intentionally bleeped out, instantly sending social media into detective mode once again. While the clip offers no definitive answers, it is the latest example of Marvel leaning into one of the film’s biggest mysteries.
Marvel Isn’t Hiding It by Accident
Director Destin Daniel Cretton recently explained that the secrecy is completely intentional and for good reason.
“There is a very real reason” the role hasn’t been revealed, Cretton said, adding that audiences will understand why once they have seen the movie. He also noted that while some fans enjoy knowing every detail ahead of release, preserving surprises is part of the experience.
That comment alone has convinced many fans that Sink’s character is not simply another supporting role, but someone whose identity could reshape the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The Biggest Fan Theories
Gwen Stacy
Perhaps the safest prediction is Gwen Stacy.
Peter Parker is beginning a brand new chapter following the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, making this an ideal opportunity to introduce one of Spider Man’s most iconic comic book characters.
With MJ and Ned moving on with their lives and no longer remembering Peter, a new relationship could naturally fit into this next phase of the franchise.
Jean Grey
For months, the internet was convinced Sink would make her MCU debut as Jean Grey, finally bringing one of Marvel’s most powerful mutants into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The theory made sense on paper. Sink has the look, the acting range, and Marvel is steadily building toward introducing the X Men.
However, Tom Holland recently appeared to pour cold water on that idea, saying, “Well, she’s not in this movie, but it would be pretty cool.” Whether fans believe Holland, or think he is simply protecting another Marvel secret, is another story entirely.
Jean Grey [Marvel Comics]
Mayday Parker
Another increasingly popular theory suggests Sink could be playing Mayday Parker, Peter Parker’s daughter from an alternate universe.
Given Marvel’s continued use of multiverse storytelling, introducing Mayday now could open the door for future Spider Man stories while expanding the Parker family legacy beyond Peter himself.
Rachel Summers
Some fans have gone even deeper into Marvel lore by predicting Rachel Summers, the daughter of Jean Grey and Cyclops from an alternate timeline.
If Marvel plans to merge Spider Man’s street level adventures with the arrival of mutants, Rachel could serve as an unexpected bridge between those worlds.
Rachel Summers [Marvel Comics]
Why the Secret Matters
Marvel has spent years trying to preserve genuine surprises in an era dominated by leaks and spoilers.
The studio has kept Sadie Sink largely absent from trailers, TV spots, and promotional materials, making her one of the few major MCU characters whose identity has remained completely unknown leading up to release.
With Brand New Day positioned as a fresh beginning for Peter Parker after the world forgot his identity, introducing a significant new character makes perfect narrative sense.
Whether that character is Gwen Stacy, an X Men icon, or someone fans have not even considered yet, Marvel clearly believes the reveal is worth protecting.
The Wait Is Almost Over
Fortunately, fans will not have to speculate much longer.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day arrives in theaters July 31, meaning the internet’s biggest MCU mystery is only days away from being solved. Until then, every new promotional clip, including the latest bleeped out interview with Sadie Sink, is only fueling the excitement.
One thing is certain: if Marvel has gone to these lengths to keep her character secret, the reveal is likely to be one of the film’s biggest moments.

Secret Wars’ Filming Timeline Officially Confirmed by the Russo Brothers [Exclusive]
The Russo brothers are about to have a very busy schedule. As the filmmakers put the finishing touches on Avengers: Doomsday, they’re already preparing to shift their attention to Avengers: Secret Wars, and it sounds like that transition is happening sooner rather than later. During an interview with Collider’s Steve Weintraub at San Diego Comic-Con following Marvel Studios’ Hall H panel, Joe and Anthony Russo reflected on where both Avengers movies currently stand. While Doomsday remains their immediate focus, Anthony Russo revealed that work on Secret Wars is already well underway behind the scenes.
Asked what the next several months look like as they balance finishing Avengers: Doomsday with launching Secret Wars, Anthony Russo explained that post-production on the first movie is now consuming most of their attention. From working with legendary composer Alan Silvestri to polishing the final sound mix, the directors are deep into the final stretch. At the same time, however, they’re already laying the groundwork for the MCU’s next massive crossover event. He told Collider:
“We’re deep into finishing the movie, into finishing Doomsday. All of the grace notes, the music, working with Alan Silvestri, sound mix, creating Alan’s incredible original music. Wait until you experience what he’s cooked up for Doom. That, and then we’re prepping. We’re prepping Secret Wars. So, it’s a complicated time in our lives, but thrilling.”
The Russo Brothers Are Already Preparing for ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’
While Russo stopped short of revealing exactly how far along those preparations are, he made it clear the gap between the two productions will be remarkably short. When Weintraub followed up by asking whether he wanted to reveal when Avengers: Secret Wars would begin filming, Anthony Russo had a fairly candid response:
“Soon. So soon it makes us sweat a little bit.”
Although the studio has yet to announce an official start date for Secret Wars, the Russos’ remarks indicate cameras should begin rolling fairly soon. That’s hardly surprising given the scale of Marvel’s current plans and Secret Wars‘ planned release date of next year. Avengers: Doomsday is expected to set the stage for the Multiverse Saga’s grand finale, with Secret Wars poised to pay off years of storytelling across the MCU and beyond.
Marvel has kept nearly every major plot detail under wraps, but anticipation has only continued to grow as more legacy characters and multiversal heroes join the franchise. For the Russo brothers, that means little time to catch their breath. Even as they race to complete Avengers: Doomsday, preparations for its follow-up are already accelerating. If Anthony Russo’s latest tease is any indication, the next chapter of Marvel’s biggest production ever is almost ready to begin.
Avengers: Doomsday premieres in theaters on December 18 later this year, with Secret Wars following a year later on December 17, 2027.

Jennifer Lopez Ex Says Diddy Left Singer Living In Fear
Jennifer Lopez‘s first husband, Ojani Noa, is revisiting one of the most scrutinized chapters of the singer’s personal life with explosive new allegations about Sean “Diddy” Combs.
In a new interview, Noa claimed the music mogul repeatedly intimidated Lopez during the collapse of their romance, alleging the singer once feared for her safety as he stepped in to confront the rapper.

As renewed attention continues to surround Diddy following his recent criminal trial, Ojani Noa has shared what he says happened behind closed doors as Jennifer Lopez tried to end her relationship with the Bad Boy Records founder.
Speaking to The Sun, Noa claimed he and Lopez had remained close after their 1998 divorce and were exploring the possibility of rekindling their romance around the time she was trying to separate from Diddy.
According to Noa, Lopez had attempted to end the relationship more than once before things finally came to a head.
“She had tried to dump Diddy before and he had threatened her and her family,” Noa alleged.
He claimed one confrontation unfolded at a birthday party Jennifer Lopez hosted for her assistant in Los Angeles, where Diddy allegedly arrived unexpectedly.
“I went over to him and told him to leave and he told me to back off,” Noa recalled. “He asked me who I was, to which I replied, ‘F-ck you’. I told him he had slept with my wife.”
Noa alleged Lopez stepped between the two men before the situation escalated further.
“Jennifer got in between us. She said he would leave but he didn’t,” he said, adding that the evening ended with Lopez leaving in Diddy’ car despite his objections.
Jennifer Lopez Allegedly Called Ojani Noa ‘Scared And Afraid’

Noa claimed the birthday party was not the end of the alleged confrontations.
According to his account, Lopez later called him in distress after Diddy allegedly appeared outside her Los Angeles home.
“She said she was scared and afraid so I instantly left work and came over,” Noa told The Sun.
He claimed that by the time he arrived, the property was dark, but someone outside began shouting after seeing his car pull in.
Noa alleged that Lopez urged him not to confront Diddy because she believed he had guns.
“She told me he had guns but I told him that I would f-ck him up,” he claimed.
According to Noa, police eventually arrived after a neighbour apparently contacted authorities.
“She said she was going to call the cops but a neighbour must have called them as they turned up and Diddy ran away,” he alleged.
Lopez’s Marriage Changed As Diddy Entered The Picture

Ojani Noa also reflected on the breakdown of his marriage to Jennifer Lopez, claiming the relationship began to unravel as her music career accelerated.
The pair married in February 1997 after meeting while Noa worked at Gloria Estefan’s Miami restaurant, Larios On The Beach. Lopez’s starring role in “Selena” transformed her into one of Hollywood’s fastest-rising stars, and she soon began recording her debut album, “On the 6,” with Diddy contributing to several tracks.
Looking back, Noa insisted their marriage had been strong before Diddy entered Lopez’s professional circle.
Noa claimed he was overseeing the launch of The Conga Room nightclub while Lopez split her time between New York and Miami recording music.
He alleged the producer’s growing involvement in her career eventually spilled into her personal life.
“They knew each other way before the media reported they did,” Noa claimed.
He added, “She started hanging out with Diddy more and more, and I started seeing her less and less.”
According to Noa, rumours about the pair intensified after friends working at Miami hotels told him they had repeatedly seen Lopez and Diddy together.
He claimed Lopez insisted their relationship was strictly professional before photographs later emerged showing her sitting on Diddy’s lap beside a hotel pool.
“We started to fight really badly as I knew she was cheating on me,” Noa alleged.
Ojani Noa Says He Confronted Lopez Over The Rumours

Convinced something was happening, Noa said he flew from Los Angeles to Miami to confront Jennifer Lopez personally.
He claimed he managed to reach her hotel suite after bypassing security and waited for her to return.
“She was on her own,” Noa recalled. “But she was shocked I was there.”
He said the encounter quickly turned into another heated argument.
“I told her again she was cheating and we got into a massive fight,” he claimed.
According to Noa, Lopez later phoned him after he returned to Los Angeles and warned him against repeating the surprise visit.
As their marriage deteriorated, Noa said he believed the couple continued making public appearances together despite privately heading toward divorce.
Reflecting on one red-carpet appearance, he said, “We went to the Oscars and she was using me so she could pretend to everyone that everything was OK. It wasn’t. So we got divorced.”
Jennifer Lopez And Diddy’s Relationship Still Draws Attention

Jennifer Lopez and Diddy officially dated between 1999 and 2001, becoming one of entertainment’s most talked-about couples during the height of both of their careers.
Their relationship made international headlines after both were arrested following the December 1999 shooting at Club New York in Manhattan. Lopez was never charged, while Diddy was acquitted of weapons and bribery charges in 2001.
More than two decades later, the relationship has returned to public focus following Diddy’s recent legal troubles.
In 2025, the music executive was convicted on two federal counts of transportation to engage in prostitution but was acquitted of racketeering conspiracy and sex-trafficking charges. He has denied allegations of sexual abuse and is continuing to challenge aspects of the case through the courts.
Jennifer Lopez has rarely spoken publicly in detail about her relationship with Diddy. Since divorcing Noa, she has also been married to Cris Judd, Marc Anthony, and Ben Affleck, with whom she finalized her fourth divorce in 2025.

Days of our Lives 2-Week Spoilers July 27-Aug 7: Holly Erupts in Rage & Kate Pleads Hard!
Days of Our Lives 2-Week Spoilers for July 27 – August 7, 2026 enthrall fans with Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) getting furious when she finds out somebody she trusted did her dirty. Plus, Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) is pleading with her husband. She’s apologetic and of course wants him to take her back.
Also, the two weeks of July 27th through August 7th, we’ve got Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) sensing evil and Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) being reprimanded by Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering). Let’s dive into what’s ahead.
Days of Our Lives: Gwen’s Disappearance and Cat’s Legal Mistake
On Monday, July 27th, Rafe is looking into Gwen Rizczech’s (Emily O’Brien) disappearance. Both Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) and Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) are really worried about Gwen, who disappeared right after EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) found out he was losing the hospital to Gwen. So, the timing is very sus.
Also, Cat ran into Leo last week and heard about Gwen’s dead man’s switch. And then Cat, of course, stole it. She takes it over to Rafe, who asks what she’s got. Cat hands him a paper and says it’s Gwen Rizczech’s written confession. The problem is because Cat stole it, it won’t hold up in court because they didn’t get it using a warrant.
And you can’t use the information in the letter to go find other info. That’s considered fruit of the poisoned tree. And it’s a big law enforcement no. That’s why Cat really screwed up doing this. She’s also going to get a warning from Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall). And this could be about not underestimating EJ because he’s very dangerous.
DOOL Spoilers: Gabi on the Warpath
Also, Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) tries to convince Gabi that he and Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) are innocent. She accused Philip and Xander of the counterfeiting of the Gabi Chic goods and refused to invest. So then, Xander told Philip to go use her feelings for him and get that money. Philip seems to get through to Gabi because this week she’s telling him that she now suspects it’s somebody else.
Leo bumps into Gus (Michael Ocampo) and I wonder if he asks if he’s seen Gwen anywhere or mentions the counterfeit bags. Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) is stunned by Joy Wesley’s (AlexAnn Hopkins) newest demand. Sounds like something Alex knows will drive a deeper wedge between him and Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein). Joy’s looking smug as Alex storms out of the pub and Ari gives a slow clap because she saw whatever slick move that Joy just tried to pull.
Days of Our Lives: Kate’s Apology and Gwen’s Investigation
Then on Tuesday, July 28th, Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) gets an apology from Kate, probably about the Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans) stuff. But will he forgive her? I think Kate’s ready to beg because she’s noticed Marlena and Roman getting closer and doesn’t want to lose her husband.
Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) hear a theory from Xander. He realized exactly how EJ could have slipped the drugs into Holly’s bag and tells them about it. Marlena, meanwhile, urges EJ to listen to his better angels.
Problem is, he’s basically Stefano Jr. at this point and does not have a conscience. Tate Black (Leo Howard) and Holly kiss and make up. And I wonder if Tate’s going to come back and apologize and say that he believes Holly about those not being her pills.
Days of our Lives Spoilers: Susan Banks Returns
Then on Wednesday, July 29th, we’ve got Susan Banks back to Salem, and she is convinced that her baby boy Johnny crossed lines. Susan’s ranting at EJ. He is not Stefano. And Susan says she’ll never let EJ turn into that monster. Sorry, Susan. Too late.
Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) gets cheering up and some reassurance from Johnny. We’re going to see Chanel and Johnny spending time with adorable little Trey. And Leo asks Rafe for some help. Leo may mention the dead man’s switch and how he’s desperate to find Gwen and wants FBI help.
I do wonder if Cat told Rafe the truth about how she got Gwen’s letter because, of course, Leo is going to tell Rafe that the lawyer’s digital file was inexplicably empty and Rafe may have to chastise Cat over what she’s done.
Also, Lexie Carver (Nikki Crawford) is caught in a lie by Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews). She told him she’s going to see her mom. She’s really planning to swap and take Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) place and get shipped off to DiMera Island very soon.
Days Spoilers: Intense Confrontations and Italian Adventure
Then on Thursday, July 30th, Alex reassures Stephanie he will never agree to the terms that Joy’s trying to set. Alex is adamant. Meanwhile, Joy goes looking for advice from Belle Black (Martha Madison). Since she’s the DA, if this is in an official capacity, it might be pressing charges on Stephanie for the shooting. Joy may be trying to get some leverage to make Alex do what she wants.
Joy might be trying to get a restraining order. We’ll see. Rachel Black (Lorelei Olivia Mote) is released from Bayview and the family celebrates her return. We also have Gabi stunning Philip. They are going to wind up in each other’s arms this week. And I wonder if Gabi’s going to agree to invest in Titan now that she no longer suspects Philip and Xander of selling fake Gabi Chic bags.
We also have Alex getting up close and personal with Philip this week. Looks like an intense scene. And Sarah rants when she sees EJ is in Holly’s room again. Sarah tells EJ she told him to stay away from Holly, remember? But Holly said she didn’t want Sarah to be her doctor anymore. And Holly’s an adult. She can decide who visits. However, Sarah and Holly have a serious talk this week. And I think Sarah may tell Holly that EJ planted the drugs in her bag.

DOOL Spoilers: Leo Has a Theory
Then on Friday, July 31st, Gus (Michael Ocampo) and Javi Hernandez (Jacob Martinez) discuss the future. I suspect Gus may not have a real future in Salem. They haven’t even given Javi’s boyfriend a last name. This week, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) asks Leo why he thinks Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte) took Gwen.
And Leo says he texted Dimitri to see if he knew where Gwen was. And then Leo is going to show Chad the reply that he got from Dimitri that has his Spidey senses tingling. So, Leo’s trying to get to Alamania as fast as possible and he may head out with Chad and Belle who are also heading to Europe. Lexie gets a big surprise from Abe and Theo.
They want to make up for lost time, so they are doing a big Christmas in July. We’ve got Abe and Theo doing it up right with a Christmas tree and hats and stockings and gifts. Lexie and Abe swap passionate declarations of love, but her offseason Christmas celebration might be what runs her late to meet Kristen, and the timing is crucial. Also, Chad updates Rafe about Gwen.
So, we’ll see if Leo is going to get Belle and Chad to help him find Gwen before they head to Italy on their big chess set mystery. Kristen and EJ share a moment of honesty. This may be before his henchman snatches Kristen up and shoves her in a shipping container and tells her, “Have a nice flight.” I doubt Lexie is going to meet her to make the swap because she’s going to be on her deathbed in the hospital soon.
Days of Our Lives: Mysteries and Departures
Then the week of August 3rd through the 7th, Gabi may kiss Philip soon. But if so, I do wonder if he’s playing Gabi on Xander’s orders so they can get her money. Philip is totally capable of gaming Gabi like that, especially since he’s so ticked off. You guys know how vengeful he can be.
We may see Kristen gone for good soon, or at least gone for now. Stacy Haiduk confirmed a while back that she had wrapped her run on Days of Our Lives. She’s over on recurring status on Young and the Restless right now, playing another blonde lunatic, though.
Belle and Chad head to Italy to try and crack the chess set mystery, but Gwen’s disappearance may be a side trip in Alamania for those two. Leo is desperate to get his bestie back and now suspects that his and Gwen’s mutual ex, Dimitri, did the snatching instead of EJ.
I do wonder if Leo will tell EJ or if he’ll just keep it zipped and go. Also, if Gus is stealing Gabi’s designs and selling them to a knockoff company, I suspect that Leo is going to figure it out. Get the goods on Gus, but Javi and Gabi may not believe him and may think he’s setting him up out of jealousy.
Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) soon has another date with Foster (Miles Anderson). It’s so sweet. I love that for them. Also, Holly’s out of the hospital soon, but she may never talk to her stepdad EJ again after the stunt he pulled with the Coriseal and setting her up to cover his own ass.
